My experience at this salon was outstanding! I didnt get the name of the technician that did my nails, but he did a fantastic job! I got a full set of short acrylics with gel polish and design. He was very helpful and kind. This is my new favorite nail salon and I will be returning every time! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I love this place!! I have been here twice and they have done a great job both time. The customer service is great, they sat me down and started my nails right away. The lady that did my nail didn’t rush them, she was really sweet and really nice to me. I love my nails now and I’m looking forward to go back and get them done again!

Thi and Jenny are both amazing! I have been seeing Thi every 2 weeks for well over a year now and I have been pleased EVERY SINGLE TIME. I am very picky about my dip powder and my pedicure and she always exceeds my expectations (even when I have a crazy request). My nail shape is always perfect and my dip lasts. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. Most of the time she’s waiting on me actually! Jenny recently moved into a management position and the difference in the nail salon is amazing! It’s been updated recently and looks fantastic!

I’m new to this town, I had thought that this place is far from the big Vietnamese community so I had assumed they would not have any great nail shops. No matter I had to choose one to try. I came to Modeste nail spa twice, at first I did not know anyone, and did not ask anyone to do for me specifically, I just wanted to try the gel polish for my nails to see how they did. The results were really beyond my expectations, my gel nails are extremely detailed. This place seems to have given me great confidence, the 2nd time I came back I did the pink and white dipping powder which I always wear. It was great. The work came out way better than what I expected, no doubt about this place, for the next time I come back I want try to get my eyebrow tattoos done, as I was told that they do a good job on eyebrow tattoos here also.

I love this place! Jenny always does an amazing job on my dip nails. Shes extremely artistic and brings to life any designs or color combos I desire! Shes the best!

I personally enjoy goin to modeste to get my nails done, and so does my mom. We have been using them for about 3 years now, and I recommend them to anyone who ask me about a good place to get nails done. I personally use Kayla when available, but have never had any issues with others when shes not been available!!

As for my dip power I pulled up a picture I found on Instagram and she was able to execute the desgin perfectly, very meticulous and professional. I have been going to Modeste Nails regularly for almost 4 years. I see Tee every two weeks for my services. She is professional and excellent with her nail skills. She takes her time to make sure my nails are perfect.The prices are very reasonable and well worth it for the services received. I have never had an issue with cleanliness, the shop is always clean and tools are always clean. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I recently went with a friend to a different shop (the one voted Knoxvilles Best in Turkey Creek), they did a terrible job and was double the price. I will never go anywhere again but Modeste Nail & Tee no matter if I am with someone else. I highly highly recommend Tee and Modeste Nail.

I have been going here for about 5 years.  I go every 3 weeks, have had gel manicures, now have dip and pedicures. Ive never had a bad experience.   Everyone is always friendly and professional.   Jenny does my dip and pedicures and always does a wonderful job.  When she was on maternity leave, Tee did my dip and Crystal did my pedicure - both always did a great job.

I have been to a few other nail salons in Knoxville and Modeste has definitely been my favorite. I have been going there for about 4 years and they have definitely improved over the years from my experiences. I am very satisfied with everything. The workers are all very respectful and very gentle when doing my nails. I got dip powder nails done by Jenny today and she did such a good job!! I will definitely request her for my next set. I also like the environment compared to most nail salons I have been to. Modeste is very quiet and serene in my opinion and I enjoy that aspect especially during a pedicure. Another thing is that I can always get an appointment and it’s an easy process. Over all I really love this place and I can’t wait for my next visit.😌

We went to get my daughters nails done for formal. We asked for an ombre where black goes up to very shimmery gray (it was on 1 of their painted nails to choose from.) The charge was an extra $15. Not a problem because the color would match her dress. Im not a fan of black nails but it was more shiny gray which we liked. When they were done, my daughter showed me her nails. They were black with minimal shimmer on the tips. They definitely didnt look anything like the display. I had them go get the display and showed them that they looked nothing alike. What she got was all black nails and a tiny bit of shimmer on the tips. They said they would put more shimmer on them. I said we paid for ombre. Putting more shimmer is not what we asked for. They refused to fix them and still charged me the extra $15. I have to go tomorrow to get her nails repainted so she doesnt look Gothic for formal. Customer service was horrible and the quality.... well it doesnt even deserve 1 star.

Never again. I like the older lady shes very nice. But the way the young nail tech treated me as if he was annoyed doing my nails that I was paying for was a turn off for me. No thanks. Too many nail shops for me to pay 55.00 for someone to act like they dont wanna do nails.

Was told i had to pay for these! (I stated I’d rather these be taken off and a fresh set be done and I’ll gladly pay for what i like.) this was Said to the second person who came over and tried to fix them. She refused and stated i had to pay for these rather i liked them or not. This is sns dip powder with regular acrylic added to the tip of one (not supposed to be done) very unprofessional and does not have very good customer service skills at all! Will never go back also everyone i know will tell how horrible of an experience i had...... i sat there for over 3 hours trying to allow them to fix my nails the whole time i was insulted about my nailsBeing to long is what’s causing the issue but note I’ve never had this problem any where else.

This was the absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had at a nail shop. Throughout the experience I was asking the lady to fix my nails (I was getting dip on acrylic) and she still was not fixing them. More than half of my nails are crooked and done poorly. I was completely rushed. When I went into the sunlight, I automatically noticed the coloring was horrible. I immediately went back in and asked for a refund and the manager told me they do not do refunds. I will be disputing this charge with my bank.

Service was horrible and the finished product of my manicure was not satisfactory. Constantly pointing out to the tech jagged nails showing through polish.

Ive been going here since they opened. I usually call ahead and schedule an appointment but Ive done a walk-in many times and never had to wait too long. If they dont have time to accept me as a walk in, theyll let me know when to come back or schedule an appointment. Ive rarely had any issues, I messed up one of my nails the night after getting them done and went back the next day and they fixed it as soon as I walked in. It really is a very clean place and everyone there is very nice. The prices are the best Ive found in the area.

The Spa is nice and the staff are friendly.. Overall service was great received a pedicure only.. Plenty of staff and I recommend an appt that way when you walk in your immediately seated.. I had never seen soo many nail polish colors before the select is pretty large and the prices are reasonable..

I had a pedicure done and she didn’t even use the cuticle nippers. I still had areas that she didn’t even touch. I had to ask twice before someone took over. I will never get a pedicure from here again.

I’ve been there twice and both times they have glued the nail to my skin instead of my actual nail. i went back the second time hoping it was a one time thing. but it seems they’re just careless. i’m not gonna pay $40 to have the skin ripped off my fingers when it’s time to take the nails off. i genuinely hope i’m the only person who’s experienced this with this salon, but i will not be returning.

I was there Valentines day and got there an hour before they closed. All i wanted was a full set, no toes or anything and they assured me when I got there that they would be able to do it soon. I waited almost an hour and they still never got to me even though there were workers just standing around doing nothing. They kept looking at me but would never serve me. So rude.

The is the only place I go to, but the past 3 times I have went my nails havent even lasted a week they just pop off very easily. Im not too happy about it. I pay for gel nails every time and they just dont last :(
