The staff have always been kind and professional, so I chose to come back here to have my nails done for my wedding. They did a beautiful job and I have no complaints at all! They took their time to make every nail look flawless. I got an ombré full set and a French tip pedicure. I highly recommend them!

Im not one to write negative reviews, but I had a horrible experience at this salon. Id gotten my nails done here before a few years back and they were fine then, but today was bad. Firstly, I will say the staff was nice and they were able to fit me in as a walk-in. Thats about where my positive feedback stops. They were somewhat busy, and maybe that contributed to what happened. Came in for a simple mani/pedi with gel polish. The woman started shaping my nails then proceeded to have me put my feet up on her lap from under the table while my hands soaked. I was a bit alarmed because the tool she pulled out was from her drawer and did not look clean at all. She then proceeded to cut at my dry cuticles and the sides of my toenails without me having soaked my feet, and she cut very roughly to where it was painful. She then came back to my hands where she again pushed and cut my cuticles very roughly to where it hurt. I was then sent to the pedicure chair where another woman soaked my feet. This woman cut at the sides of my toenails again and made one of my big toes bleed. She muttered sorry under her breath but only after several minutes when I started inspecting it myself. To top it off, the polish job is okay at best. I feel like I could have done a better job myself honestly. Definitely wont be returning and Im praying I dont get an infection where she cut me.

My daughter and I got our nails done here. Carla did my pedicure and Tammy did my daughters gel nails. Great quality, clean, friendly. We had an amazing experience. Oh and they use plastic liners in the pedicure baths now. (I saw an old review saying they didnt). Well be coming back here for all our nail needs.

My visit started out fine. The salon was pretty busy that day but the staff remained friendly for the most part. When me and my friend were finally being taken care of, our nail tech kinda changed moods and started getting frustrated with me because I couldn’t relax my hand for her. She actually cut my pinky with the buffer and didn’t even apologize! And then all I wanted was a daisy painted in the corner of one of my nails and instead she painted dots. She asked me if I like it, and I said it’s alright, because at this point we had been there for 2 hours and I was just ready to go. She then took the design off and I said you know what we can just do a solid glitter nail. And she refused and said no I will do a daisy. The second was worst and that’s how I left. I ended up going to the other nail salon in the mall and having them fix my nail. I was definitely disappointed.

Got a bit of pampering today and just wanted to let you all know that if you need your 💅🏻 done that this salon is one of the best in Knoxville. 30 years of experience working on your hands and feet you can be sure you will be satisfied when you leave. Ive been to various nail salons throughout Knoxville and La Vie Nails is my favorite. My daughters and I have had our nails done several times here and weve always been very satisfied. We are always happy with the quality and price. The staff are friendly and dont just rush to get you done quickly. Id recommend them to anyone looking for a new nail salon.

This is the place to go inside the mall. Such incredible customer service. Very reasonably price. My sister got a pedicure and I wanted one without the paint, just a soak and scrub. They really gave me my moneys worth. Will definitely go back!

I’ve only been here a few times but will definitely become a regular! I am super picky about who does my nails and I have had such difficult experiences at other places that I had lost hope in all nail salons. Me and my mom came here and fell in love! This place is seriously a hidden gem! Tammy is the nicest and is so hard working! She does a good job and if you’re not happy she will definitely fix it! While I was here recently a girl came in very mad and Tammy offered to re do and the girl refused! She was so rude and very unprofessional Tammy however handled it like a pro! She was so nice but the girl just could not calm down. Me and my mom both witnessed it yet still left with great results! That just goes to show that not everyone is a trustworthy review but this one definitely my new favorite place! Would 10/10 recommend. Tammy even offered if something happened before I went out of town she would fix it so it would look nice!

My work schedule prohibits me from being able to make in time for their hours, but they always wait late for me and take great care of me. Tammy was very friendly. But application was a bit messy. I have dip powder stains on my cuticles and a few of my nails are bubbly or crooked.

I love this place! I came in here about a week ago to get my acrylics filled before going on vacation and I was worried that they wouldn’t last, but they did and they look brand new, too!!! The woman who did my nails (who I believe was the manager) was so so so sweet and always made sure that I was getting what I wanted. When I told her that I wanted gel polish she made sure that I knew it would cost more than normal polish. The prices are also very clearly started on a board which is visible hanging on their wall. They’re also very affordable and the quality is comparable to other salons which cost more in the area. The salon I was going to previously always charged $45 for an acrylic fill with gel polish and at this salon they charge $33 for the same quality nails.As for environment, the salon it is very clean and peaceful especially for being in such a busy mall. Everyone there is very sweet and easy to talk to. I highly recommend coming here!!!

They use the same nail files/clippers/cuticle tools for everyone. Not disinfected. DEFINITELY not sterile. They keep them in the same place and you can see they are well used. Gross. Pedicure baths don’t have disposable plastic covers. Prices are good but at what cost? Rolling the dice on getting foot fungus or possible infection?It’s a hard pass for me.

My husband and I have used La Vie Nails for over 5 years for manicures and pedicures. It’s the only place my husband will use and believe me, we have tried others. Tammy and her staff are thorough and very accommodating. They always do a good job. They are professional and do a good job. Love, love, love them!

Going through all these reviews I’m baffled. I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve been coming here for over a year now. My nails always look great and if I’m less than satisfied they make sure to fix or change what I don’t like. The Tammy and her daughter and the staff is awesome and always friendly. Yes they stay busy ALOT but that just means they are good at their jobs and everyone wants them!! ;) If I ever have a chip I can come in and they fix me right up without question or charging. I love them and they will always have my business. Thanks guys!!!

I have been going to La Vie Nails for 12 years. I love their service and Tammy the owner. I even have been to a couple different nail shops, but they do not compare to La Vie Nails. I used to get acrylic nails with regular polish, then acrylic with gel polish, and now my real nails with the dip. I was getting fungus on my nails and Tammy turned me onto the dip. The dip lasts long and instead of coming every 2 weeks I only come once a month now.Tammy really cares about her customers. Yes they get busy, but they are so worth the wait. I recommend if you do not want to wait then go right when they open on Sundays. Their prices are way better than other nail salon prices. I was getting over charged at the other salons and my nails would always break before 2 weeks was up.

I got my nails done here last week and I just did not like the service at all. It’s was a very slow day for them (as in I was the only one there). It took the lady just 1hr 30min to get me done like what took them so long for real. I got the dip powder done and I just did not like my nails at all. My dip nails was just super Thick and I know dip was supposed to last for two weeks but my nails are already Chipping 😒 after just almost 1 week.

I’ve been going here for years and they are the BEST!!! Tommy is my go to guy for pedicures, and does an amazing job! La Vie nails is very sanitary, clean, and all of the staff is super friendly. I’ve have also taken my 10 year old daughter here and they’ve taken great care of her. The skin on my feet gets super rough, but I always leave here with them feeling SOo soft! I’ve gone to many places around Knoxville before, but La Vie Nails is my absolute favorite!

My friend Anna and I went to get acrylic French tips and the service was great! The workers were very gentle and nice. My nails look great. I highly suggest going to this nail salon instead of the other one in the mall.

So I went into the mall to get my eyebrows done and on the way out thought I would go get my nails done to. Let me just say TAMMY is the bomb!! I can’t even describe the event. I wish I would had read reviews prior but we didn’t. Spent 160$ and amazed. We aren’t ones to hurt others feelings. They person doing my daughter was trying hard but honestly, I feel like he’s just not licensed nor had any training. We were there for so long and would have accomplished nothing if we did complain as we were a long ways from home and didn’t have time for corrections. She paid 5$ extra for French but literally, there was no white, just a tiny white line. I asked for black or grey, I got purple and the polish was clotted and after 20 minutes under the light, they still were sticky and messed up. I did call the owner but don’t seem to be getting anywhere with her. So, just go elsewhere. Check reviews before going. I will say there was a lady there while we were drying at the nail bar, and she said the man doing hers was the best and her nails did look awesome. I think we were just given kids who had no idea what they were doing.

I came in to get a fill in. No wait! Extremely nice! She did a GREAT job on my nails!! Coming back for sure!***EDIT***I came here for the 1st time 7 days ago. I NEVER SHOULDVE WASTED MY MONEY! I was going out of town and needed a fill in. The woman who usually does my nails wasnt able to do mine before I left. This place was the only salon open.My nails look like they have been on for 3 weeks. It looks like I need to get them filled in. Its been 7 DAYS!!! You can see my entire nail bed on ALL of my nails! One of my nails isnt even curved to my nail bed. It looks like a coffin shape but not at the tip, at my nail bed. My nails are lifting at the corners. My color is fading. I paid $10 more dollars for a bad job!!I shouldve waited and went to the salon I always use. You can see the entire white from my nail bed on each nail! My nails always look new until after 14-16 days. Idk what they use at this shop, but it isnt good! I have called 3 times. They say someone will call me back, they are busy! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Just got my nails done here and I am very impressed! I saved $15 by going here as opposed to my last salon! The technician was very thorough and did my nails exactly how I wanted them! I will definitely be coming back!

Tammy has done my nails for literally 2 decades now. She and Tina always do a great job for me and my mom and everyone is great with my wild 4 year old boy! They are always professional and will make it right if youre not satisfied. If theyre busy, Tammy will call you when theyre ready so you can go shop in the meantime.

I went in to get a refill with my friend, who was getting a brand new full set. The guy doing my nails was EXTREMELY slow. It took him an over HOUR to do my refill. My friend, who was getting a BRAND new set was finished before me.

The place took two hours drilling and filing and the paint was streaky over priced and over all painful made us bleed.

Very disappointed. Used to come often and they keep getting worse. If my teenage daughter comes in she’s ignored. Was told to write her name down and she would be called. Walked by a couple times and always someone new in there and never got a phone call. Most likely won’t be back. The last time I was there some guy did my nails and I literally spent an hour and all he did was grind on them. Had an appt for pedicures for myself and my sister. Got her quick I waited forever. She was finished with her pedicure before they even got to me. I just got polish. I’m not one to complain so much but I’ve just gotten tired of the lack of service and respect at this place and how my daughter is treated

I was so happy with the job Miss Tammy did o n my nails that I made an appointment to get my daughters nails done as well. She has great prices and does high quality work. They really take there time when doing your nails here and dont let you leave until your completely satisfied. I know there are a few bad reviews on them but thats just because these people wanted extravagant things done and didnt want to pay this sweet lady. This was my first time having my nails done there and she said if I had any problems just come back and she would fix them with no problems. Definitely will be going back to see her!

My experience was not good at all. The ladies kept criticizing my nails calling them “too short” and after only two days my gel polish was peeling off and after only one day it was chipping the lady cut my finger and then over charged me. I paid $40 for gel polish and regular paint on my toes. Regular paint is supposed to be $7 and gel is $30. Sure, three dollars isn’t that bad but that’s $3 I could have used for something else. The lady then proceeded to complain when I did not tip her because my nails looked horrible they have random black dots in the polish and I got white🤦‍♀️ Will definitely not go back here they also were super pushy and told me I needed to get acrylics because my nails were ugly. Save yourself some time and go to California nails. Should have gone there in the first place they don’t over charge me and are kind.

Im usually not one to write reviews, but this is by far THE WORST nail experience i have ever had. i went to get my nails done at two pervious salons on friday, january 31st. there was some mixups & the customer service was terrible, so i ended up leaving those places. i actually work in the mall, so i figured id give this place a try. i walked in, scheduled my appointment and was happy with my initial contact with the lady who did my nails. she was very friendly. i went in for my appointment that was scheduled at 8pm, i was about 30 minutes early because i was able to get off, which was no big deal, she fit me right in. she did my nails, she cut me MULTIPLE times, offered no discounts or anything for that, but she was apologetic. she continued to do my nails & i spoke with her about the horrible nail experiences i had that day & told her she was a breath of fresh air. she finished my nails, they werent the best, but they werent the worst. i was just happy to have my nails done, i even went back to my job and told them how sweet she was! so, the next morning i woke up and my nails were fine. i began to get ready for work & i took a hot shower. i got out and the top layer of my nails were bubbled and the polish peeled off. i was highly irritated and gave her a call. i explained to her the issue and nicely asked for a refund because i had no time to come and have them fixed. during this conversation she hung up on me SIX TIMES and told me it was my phone and not to hang up on her. so, i calm down waited an hour and called back. she finally agreed to let me show her my nails and offered me a refund. i get there and show her & she denies my refund and tells me that she had witnesses to the conversation we had early. she spoke very condescending and unprofessionally to me. she even stated that the other people currently in the salon could see what was going on. i told her i didnt care, showed EVERYONE my nails & simply asked for a refund on the gel. i told her i wasnt being unreasonable because the acrylic was still in tact and i just wanted a refund for the polish that was poorly done. she looked me dead in my face and told me that it wasnt her fault and that i went home and scrapped the polish off. if you search the salons name on facebook, they have some pretty horrible comments there. she is overall a rude person. she did a poor job & rushed me at the end, didnt even take my payment because she was rushing to get to another hand. please take your time and money somewhere where.**UPDATE**my coworker at work covered me so i could get them fixed. i called and made an appointment for 5:30. i went and my experience was again, unpleasant. she continued to bring up the day before and i told her i wasn’t interested in discussing that. i just wanted my nails fixed. she didn’t speak to me anymore, she just hand motioned what she wanted me to do. once completed to took a picture and said “i’m taking a picture so i know my work is done” i said “fine, whatever you feel like you need to do is fine” i thanked her once she finished. she wiped them with alcohol and i asked for no oil because i feel like that was the issue previously. she then asked me to scrap my nails. initially i declined, but she insisted so i did. i told her they looked fine & thanked her again. she then proceed to ask me THREE times if i wanted a KNIFE to see if it would scrape off. i told her no, because i didn’t scrape them initially and that was she was asking was inappropriate. i gathered my things and left. again, i still wouldn’t suggest going here. she seems very petty and unprofessional. you’d be better off doing your nails yourself.

Ive been committed to Tammy and the staff at Le Vie nails for over 5 years. They are one of the few shops that gives fantastic mens manicure and pedicures. I highly suggest you go support this local business.

2 of us just wanted a pedicure. 15 min wait turned into 30 min for one of us and 45 min for the other. It was ok at first because we were talking. Then the lady that told us 15 min started on someone that walked in after us. So rude.A girl came in and removed her own polish because they were behind. Another girl had made an appointment and still waited 10 min. How does this place stay open?? Wont be back. There are two other places in the mall. Go to one of those.

Love this place. Have been coming here for years. Always perfect service, and always goes the extra mile for me. Im indecisive and can never choose designs or colors and the owner always says choose both! ALWAYS will do our nails no matter how close to closing time I show up. Ive stayed up to over an hour and a half after theyve closed and they will still take their time and dont let us leave without being happy their work.

My daughter and I had went to another shop and they had done a terrible job on our nails so we decide to come to La Vie Nails to have them filled in. They fixed what the other shop done to our nails and made them look fabulous! We have never had this many compliments on our nails!

I was told the wait would be 20 or less minutes, however it took almost 45 minutes just to get a full set. My mother got them done and her nails looked awful. Do not recommend :( There was also a waiting list, and this family came in and was told 10 minute wait and instead of calling the family they said down a walk in . They are very unorganized, they rush with you nails, and arient very sanitary.

I have been a customer for 5 years. I have never had the service that I get here. Tammy and her crew are great . If I broke a nail, they fix it. I use my hands a lot with work. I get the SNS dip gel and I can go at least 6 weeks before going back. Sometimes they are busy, but I don’t mind waiting because they are worth it. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you.

I mean, they were very kind but I do have some thoughts about their health and safety codes. I got acrylics put on and I think they look nice, although very crooked. Now, the health and safety, whenever they used the dremmel on my cuticles, they pulled out a dirty, and obviously used one. Not only that but she made my finger bleed (it didnt hurt, no hard feelings.) But my problem was that she proceeded to put the drill bit back into the drawer, the same one she pulled it out from. Didnt clean it or throw it away or anything. I had BLOOD on my hands. Thats gross. I also got haggled into spending an extra 20 bucks. They suggest the gel but dont mention the ASININE upcharge on it. Dont be fooled by the sign that says a set is 20 bucks. Its 45. I got ripped off. Like I said they look nice, but theyre also really crooked. Idk if Ill be coming back. I love supporting local businesses, but yikes.

I have been going here for 3 months straight same price each time for my nails and eyebrow wax . The owner has always taken very good care of me and always has me leave happy . Sometimes the store is super busy and her service does not change she calls me with in 20mins to 30mins to get my service. I totally recommend this store and to her. Super happy to be one of her regulars 😁.

Dont waste your time or money! This place is a joke and should be shut down! I would not even had put one star but I had to to be able to write a review. They were pushy and rude to my daughter, over charged for her nails when it should have been an easy fill in but instead suggested she get a full set of the new dip powder process.

I walked out before she was done and went to my regular salon. She didnt even have the tips glued down on the side and my regular salon had to redo what she did. This salon really has no clue on how to do nails and she charged me full price and I didnt even let her finish. Very rude woman and worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon

I went and had my nails done yesterday, and my experience was awful. the whole time my nails were getting done, the person just kept looking off and doing other things. hell, she even ended up hurting me because of how tight she was holding my fingers and how careless she wasn’t being with my nails. she rushed everything, and she didn’t even cover my whole nail with the acrylic or paint. i will NEVER go back here again. save y’alls money and go to another nail salon in the mall.
