I was in search of a new stylist in Knoxville after I couldn’t find where my previous stylist moved to, and after mostly caring for my natural hair myself for years. I am particular about my hair health and hair care because I am prone to breakage and I want to grow my hair long. I have had so many bad experiences, breakage, tears, and nightmares other places but then KORESA. Wow. Firstly, she is every bit the professional and takes time to answer my questions and educate me about caring for my hairstyle & listening to my concerns. I had a silk press the first time and a sew in the second and both were so beautiful. I will definitely become a regular client! Everyone in there is so friendly and personable. They make you feel so welcome and like you belong from the very start! I hate when you go to some other salons and everyone just stares at you and doesn’t speak even when you are friendly with them. I’m so glad I found her!!!

Ashlee is always accommodating and will do her best to make clients happy. Ive never left the salon unhappy with any style Ive gotten done, and Ashlee has been my hairstylist for a little over 3 years now.

Koresa Dickey was the stylist I was blessed with today!!! I went in with over processed hair due to a horrible coloring and I left her chair feeling 100% SATISFIED!!!!! She was able to tone the color and COMPLETELY stopped my shedding!! I will definitely be using her forever!!

Koresa did a microbead installation on my hair. The extensions matched my natural hair perfectly. She also colored the extensions and they were perfect. I love this hair! I have worn it flat ironed, blowed out and naturally curly. The hair is very versatile. The process was easy with Koresa explaining the process and how to care for the hair. I will definitely be returning for another hair extension service soon!

LOVE! When I think of a good hair day, I think of when I’ve had my hair done by Koresa!! Seriously! The curls last and they’re always perfect! The atmosphere is very relaxing and decorated super cute! You’ll feel like you’re hanging with your besties but they’re still professional. I purchased the sew in maintenance plan by KD. It comes with multiple services and so easy to use. I loved my sew in and the customer is superb. KD is very friendly and easy to work with and will ensure you get look and style you desire.

100% exceeded my expectations! For my very first time having my hair braided, I was thrilled with my experience. Everyone at the salon was so kind. It took a few hours as expected but my braids were perfect and I have gotten nonstop compliments. Totally affordable but still very classy, clean and high quality.

I took the one on one lash class today. I was nervous about learning how to lash, but Bahja was such an amazing teacher. The way she explained things made all this new information easy to remember. I was asked to install some shelves at KD Style Studio. Upon walking in the first time, I was greeted with a huge hello, friendly faces, and a energetic environment. After being there for a minutes, clients started coming in and it seemed like everyone was family. Even though they were complete strangers.People form their first impression within the first 15 seconds of meeting them. During the time I was there I could tell that these group of ladies were passionate and highly determined to not only be the best but deliver the best results possible.Now I wasn’t there to see how the hair turned out, but if the finish is anything like the start, I am willing to bet that their hair was “Fierce”

Just finished my 3rd visit with Ashley @KDSS and they’ve won me over. Ashley is always punctual & so friendly, on top of the high quality services she offers. I received my first sew in here and the service was absolutely AMAZING. From her personality to her skill, I was extremely pleased. I also purchased my hair from her and used it for at least 2 years (until I lost it 😭). I haven’t been in a while because I’m not home as often from school, but I will definitely be back in the chair one day soon! 10/10 would recommend!!!

I recently had the experience of getting Knotless goddess braids from stylist Ashlee! She was so professional and polite. She was very knowledgeable about her craft and gave me great maintenance procedures for when i left. The studio is clean and smells good. KD has rescued my hair from a disastrous hair braiding from last summer. It’s growing and definitely more healthy. Rosa does an amazing job!!! I’ve had my hair braided into a style/ponytail and I recently got the knotless box braids. At no point did I feel like my hair was being pulled from its follicles😳. And if I’m being 100% honest: I am not tender headed, so do with this information what you will, but it NEVER hurt! Like, I was able to go to bed that night and sleep peacefully lol 😂 If you’ve had any experience with that kind of hair braiding, you know what I’m talking about. I love the new salon space too!!! The stylist are talented and offer a variety of services. 13/10 would recommend!

I would like to start off saying that Ive been going to KD Styles for almost two years and shes awesome especially when it comes to explaining things. I always say she has growing hands and a positive attitude. Shes also very great when it comes to children. You want be disappointed!!!

I have really bad breakage around my crown. I’m very insecure about it and wanted to put my hair in a protective style until my breakage grows out a little more.Rosa installed small goddess box braids in my hair and I am VERY happy with them. They are secure but not tight. They are very light and very pretty.I love the whole vibe of that salon and I will definitely will be coming back again.Also an added bonus was binge watching Netflix while getting my hair done.

I have been taking my daughter to KD to get her hair braided for several years. This was our first time at the new facility and with a new beautician. Update: so I got knotless braids for the first time by Ashlee and I dont regret it. Ashlee is professional and takes good care of your hair.. braids arent too heavy and she protected my edges so I dont feel any pulling and they arent too tight. I always enjoy myself at the salon, talking with all the ladies and learning about a new TV series because they are always choosing something good to watch. I highly recommend KD styles studio and the different services they offer.I got my natural hair twisted by Ashlee. She was super sweet and caring. Asking if I was allergic to something before getting started, which is huge for me because I have lots of allergies. She was attentive, professional, and efficient. I didnt feel as if I was in the salon too long, she did a great job within a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend her for your hair needs.
