Went to la la nails for the first time the other day and was not disappointed. Tommy did my dip polish and was very quick but still thorough. Definitely call to make an appointment because they seem busy. Will definitely be back!

I have been going to La La since its inception and have always been happy with the service and quality. However, recently I’ve noticed that something has changed. There seems to be a higher turnover rate and the quality of service has suffered. Ethan was my technician and seemed to be in a hurry to get to his next client. As a result, I noticed that there was a white outline around all my nails. I’d never seen that before but thought it would just wash away. The truth is that it wasn’t sealed properly and as a result my nails started to “catch” on clothing. I didn’t go back because I have health issues and didn’t want to complain. However, Sunday my nails were peeling off. I’d been wearing bandaids to keep them from chipping off. I called to speak to Jessica (whom I adore) she’s an asset to that business, hands down! She is off on weekends so I spoke with the new manager. We looked up my account and realized that I had my nails done 20 days before. I thought that by seeing how my nails had deteriorated it was obvious that the job was done incorrectly. She made the typical excuses; different technique, etc. I told her I just wanted my nail dip removed. When I spoke with this new manager I asked her to step aside so I could speak with her privately. I didn’t want to be overheard by other customers. She removed my nails and CHARGED me $10.00! I went there to give them the benefit of doubt. Everyone has an off day and depending on how my situation was handled would be the deciding factor on my return! The $10.00 charge was a deal breaker! I’m looking for a new salon. Sorry Jessica, you’re the best and I will miss you!!!

I’ve had terrible nail salon experiences in the past, but this place has changed my mind about getting my nails done. Irene is the best. I would highly recommend booking an appointment with her. My nails looks absolutely amazing thanks to her. She makes dip powder nails look so natural yet durable and beautiful. She’s so talented! I will definitely keep going back.

I went here for the first time today and I was really surprised. They serve free drinks! I got a full set and I’m absolutely in love with them! The staff was friendly. The only downside I noticed was that the girl who did my nails was a little rough on the buffing block. Other than that I loved my first trip here. I will definitely come back and recommend!

Got a pedicure with hot stone massage, my God! I need to do that more often. Amazing!

This was overall a great experience. They were busy, but got me in quickly for a mani-pedi. I would give 5 stars if my middle cuticle hadnt been scratched up. This was my first time visiting La La Nails. My review will be updated as I revisit.

Lala used to be really good, I’ve been here several time. They’ve really went downhill. The topcoat started cracking and peeling off just a few days after getting them done. This is my 3rd really bad experience in a row here writhin 2 months with different people. I won’t be back.

The best I’ve ever had. We currently live in Bristol and I’ve never found the quality as I have here. I will now be making a monthly drive.

I enjoyed the service at these place and I will recommend you try it. I love the massage chair the most because I almost fell asleep while my pedicures going on. Next time I go I will look out for Von and Anna. They did an awesome job to my feet and nails.

Evonne is AMAZING! I’ve had plenty of pedicures other places but I have never in my life had one like this. She is friendly, professional and amazing. 10/10 for a great pedicure.

Overall the shop was clean and staff was friendly. If going I would suggest having a specific technician in mind, it can be a gamble to be randomly placed. I have seen great work from this salon in the past but my last experience wasnt great. The technician I had didnt follow my reference photos, left my acrylic VERY thick after I asked for it to be taken thinner and I needed a fill only a week after they were installed because my cuticles werent pushed back, photo attached is 1 week after.

Max is by far the best at LaLa’s, he always works around my schedule and makes sure that that I’m completely satisfied before I leave. While everyone at this salon is good, I would highly recommend Max for all your services.

Clean nail bar that offers pedicures, manicures, waxing, etc. I was happy with my finished product and Chloe was very nice and professional. What prevented this from being five stars is that I had an appointment at 1200pm. and did not sit down in the chair until 1220pm. I think that having an appointment should mean that you are seen within 5 minutes of the appointment time.

This place is a scam. It was my first time going here, & I asked to see the menu for the prices. I even double asked to clarify. I was told $34 for a gel pedicure & $38 for a gel manicure. I got charged $92 for basic gel on my hands & feet. I was told at the front that it’s an extra $20 for gel on your toes on top of the pedicure. Will never be back.

Having my tired feet taken care of while my wife gets fancy nails is awesome.No more waiting in the lobby for me.

Jumi (i think that was her name 😬.. Ive slept since then) did an AMAZING job on this pretty design!! She was so nice and had great attention to detail. I havent been disappointed by anyone at la la nails to date.

I have heard a lot of people recommended this place, but I do not. This was my first time going there. I had to walk in because they would never answer the phone (I am grateful that they could at least get me in). When getting my nails done, the tech never once tried to start a conversation with me. When she was finished, my nails looked very nice, however, the gel started to peel off three days later. I am writing this review less than a week later and almost all my gel nails are off. I guess you get what you pay for.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE salon! I have been receiving dip powder manicures here for over 2 years and I cannot express my delight enough! I always see Lee because he is the most wonderful and talented nail artist in Knoxville. He is very kind and professional and always gives me the best dip mani every time. He is always on time to see me when I arrive for my appointment and takes great care and expresses awesome attention to detail while doing my nails. I could go on and on about how wonderful and amazing he is but I think you should go see him for yourself!Oh and if you call to make an appointment the ladies at the front desk are quick to answer the phone and make your appointment. They are always very sweet and happy to talk to you on the phone!Anyway, I love Lee and LALA Nails and I will always be a returning customer. Genuinely I was so excited to come here II booked my appointment 2 weeks prior because I was told it’s very busy and to see Lee you must book out ! When I called I said I would like to make an appointment with Lee… the girl on the phone said how long do you need … seeing how I have never been to the salon I said I’m. It sure but here is what I need done “I need a fill and two replacement nails and gel polish and two designs”… the receptionist said … ok I will book you for an hour she never said anything else.I show up to my appointment on time it was booked for 9:30 and Lee was very gentle he started and by the time it was 10:14 I already had my two replacements and a fill in …. He then asks me ….after he filled my nails …..” I do $50 an hr is how I work is that ok ? “ ummm1-nobody at the front desk told me that2- they only booked me one hour and so if I continued to get polish I would be charged3- I was so disappointed and upset why didn’t he say this before he started ?Needles to say he got very upset when I tried talking to the owner and I actually was trying to say it’s not his fault and be understanding before he even knew what I was saying Lee threw something and said I’m not doing your nails needless to say I needed up leaving crying 😭

My dip manicure just looks terrible - my cuticles look awful less than a week out and they did not use the gel top coat with the lamp to dry my nails, so they smudged right away. The color was also not even close to what the display looked like. Look elsewhere.

Beautiful place but will not be going back, Danny Do was AMAZING but Thomas needs to learn how to talk about people better without one understanding even if it’s in his native language. Terrible attitude because the receptionist didn’t tell him it’s an acrylic soak off then dip manicure when I told her once over the phone when making the appointment and the second time when I got there

I’ve always loved my nails! I normally go for long coffin/stiletto shapes with designs and they are really great About staying up-to-date on the trends. There’s always someone there who can do what you want! Jimmy and Chloe are amazing and I couldn’t be happier!

The atmosphere is comfortable and professional and they have done a great job at adhering to COVID protocols, using partitions, taking temps and completing questionnaires upon arrival. Would highly recommend and I’ll never go anywhere else!

Ive gotten my nails done at this salon for a few months and have used many of their nail techs. They all do a fabulous job! If youre looking for designs I would recommend Amelie her free hand is very accurate and beautiful. They have a huge selection of polish gel and dip. They also do waxing which is reasonably priced. My go to salon. They offer student discounts and first time visit discounts as well!

Its my second time as a customer and I am just as happy with the service as the first time. The atmosphere is calming and orderly managed. Both times the service was satisfactory and worth every penny. Will definitely come back

I was really hesitant to get something like an ombré dip...because do they ever actually look like the pictures? Thankfully for me, Rachael did an incredible job! I will definitely be going back! The owner(?)/manager(?) was super helpful too, in picking out colors.

Great and professional atmosphere. I see Amelie regularly and she is amazing and so creative! Anytime I show her a picture of what I want she delivers! The loyalty card they give you is a nice perk, and they are always stocked with a selection of drinks. I highly recommend this place!

UPDATE!My third visit to LaLa and I cannot say enough good things about this place! Today I had the biggest spa pedicure package with a hot rock massage by Kayla and she was AMAZING! Peter did my nails and I have never gotten exactly what I wanted at a nail salon until I found this place! Never going anywhere else again!I stopped yesterday to see if they had time for a walk in appointment. I was blown away by this salon! I have tried so many different salons and this will definitely be my place. Clean, professional, polite and relaxing! Lily was my technician and she did an amazing job. I showed her a picture and she matched it perfectly with an acrylic overlay and gel polish. I will be a customer for life!

This nail salon does the best job with dip nails and the staff are very accommodating. My nails usually last around 3-4 weeks when I get them done here. I give 4 out of 5 because my sister and I went in for pedicures here and our nail techs were rude to both of us. Shes been coming here much longer than me and always enjoys her manicure nail tech, so it was a bit shocking that the same didnt apply to those doing pedicures.

I got acrylics done and they look fabulous !! My nail technician was Lily, super nice and understanding. Didn’t talk too much, but made sure that i was satisfied with my nails !!

I was looking to get my nails done and to get eyelash extensions for the first time last Saturday. I found this place through Facebook and Google and it had a 4.7 or 4.8 rating on both with lots of reviews, so I decided to give them a try.I was not disappointed!!! The nail tech i saw was also certified to do eyelash extensions! My nails were done first and then we immediately went into the eyelash extensions room and she did my lashes! It was so relaxing 😌 I started to doze off a few times 😌 lolShe was very gentle and did an AMAZING JOB!! Ive gotten so many compliments on my lashes! I opted for the classic lash look with just a tiny touch more! I have light colored lashes that are so coarse that not even a heated eyelash curler will help more than 5 minutes!! The extensions make my eyes pop and noticeable❣I plan on being a regular customer!!!

I go here often. Recently the last few visits have been a bit more difficult. Not being able to make appointments (not answering the phone or responding to the online booking) but when I do get in, I’m pleased with the work.

Were able to recognize I was new to getting my nails done and recommend what was appropriate. Did not take a long time. Friendly staff.

Very disappointed after 1.5 years of going here they started charging me extra for refills. In order to avoid the extra $10 charge from $28-$38 she had to cut down my ALREADY long nails and RESHAPE them from coffin to squoval. How does that make any since. I hate these short nails and will never go back which is a bummer because Jimmy is the best in town

I got a confirmation text for my appointment that I had booked the day before. I drove 30 minutes to get there, and they turned me away (blaming it on their booking system). The lady was extremely unprofessional when handling the situation.

Disappointed, my daughter had a kid’s pedicure and manicure. First, they said they didn’t have us down for an appointment, which I had an email confirmation. Then the girl at the counter said she called me and left a message to cancel our appointments.I don’t have vm set up on my phone (so no message could have been left) & no missed calls for the day either.Then they asked us to pay in advance before the service, asking also how much we would like to tip in front of the technicians. I tipped 20% before any service.The kids manicure consisted of painting nails, that’s it. The tech was clearly in a hurry.We just got home & I looked at my daughters hands, the tech did not put a top coat on my one of daughters hands, so one shiny hand & one dull hand for a gel polish.Not at all the experience we were expecting.

I can not express how much I love this salon. Extremely clean and amazing staff. Every nail tech I’ve had has been phenomenal (especially lee and jack!) but even the girls at the door are great (talking about you Jessica!) free nail repair on dip, free drinks! The one and only time I had an issue they were quick to fix it for free. This is the best salon in Knoxville. Love lala!!!!

I will not let anyone else (in Knoxville or a big city) touch my hands and feet. I have known the La La team since before they were La La and I love them even more now. If you want a sanitary, professional experience with people who truly care about their work, then you need to get your nails done here!

Got in quick which was nice, but the lady who did my nails was not gentle and may have infected my toe! Don’t pull and yank at cuticles and hang nails 😫 my toe is all red and swollen and painful.

Peter gave me the best dip manicure ever. I asked that if possible he could not make them so thick...done. He also put a tip on a nail to make it the same size as the others. I didn’t even have to ask.

I sustained SECOND-DEGREE BURNS on my chin during a waxing by nail tech Anna--I had to seek medical attention--who ought to be fired for her negligence. See the photo Ive attached.

I didnt have a good experience with Lala Nails. I had my nails done and when I got outside I could see that the gel was bubbly looking so I turned back to get them fixed the guy that did my nails tried to fix them by applying the same gel but it still looked the same and after couple more coats it looked great but the reason Im disappointed of this service is the fact that my nails after a week look so terrible. The gel is coming off and my nails are reaping wich is uncommon since the gel should protect them.

I luv everything about this nail salon. I would never go anywhere else. Lee does my nails and he is very TALENTED at his job. Fun to talk to also. It is a very clean salon, I highly recommend this nail salon to everyone.
