This nail salon is the best! I tried a few different nail salons in east side before I found this place, but none of them were that great. Last month I went to this place and I loved the french manicure I got, so I went back there today. Gloria always does her best to meet the style I want and not to miss any details. Everyone is so nice. I’m so happy with my new nails and I’ll definitely visit again.

I’ve been going here for years and won’t ever stop! They do such an incredible job every single time I come in. They pay close attention to detail and won’t finish until my nails look perfect. 10/10 recommend!

They’re creative in coming up with solutions to odd problems (they once *built* me a toenail - acrylic - before a beach vacation when I’d lost half each big toenail to bad hiking shoes).They’re incredibly patient, when I first got tips I thought I wanted an Almond shape, but kept having them make it rounder until I had a true oval; they were very kind in letting me know that I actually preferred an over shape, which as a newbie is definitely needed info for down the line! Another time I chipped the top coat of my dip manicure and went back in a few days later for a quick repair thinking it would be $5 as listed. I called Gloria and she was able to squeeze me in within the hour, & wouldn’t let me pay once it was done - so sweet, felt a little embarrassed at first but they put me totally at ease.Lake Street is always my go to spot, and has been since moving home from college (6 years now?!) They do a beautiful job & the dip lasts over 3 weeks. Which is a bit of a miracle for me as a former nail biter.The atmosphere differs, mainly based on the customers, sometimes quite and peaceful ‘me time’ though more often fun and chatty - I’ve made many new friends via inviting conversations & swapping color choices.Great cleanliness & covid precautions - this was the first place I went out in public once we were allowed and I felt totally at ease - still do every time I’m in.You really can’t go wrong with any of the staff, they all do great jobs and check-in with you on shape/length far more often than I’ve experienced elsewhere.Added bonus: great people watching!

They do such an amazing job. They pay really close attention to detail and it shows. I showed up early for my appointment and even though they were busy one of the ladies still helped me. It was my first time getting my nails dipped and they look wonderful. Everyone was so nice.

My first time here and from now on my go-to place if I ever get acrylics again! They really went above and beyond to get the color and design I wanted absolutely right & they also lasted me over a month with no chips or breaks. Highly recommend this place!!

I haven’t had my nails done in 11 years, I splurged and decided to do it for my birthday. These women were wonderful! I brought my daughter and we made a date of it. She got a pedicure, I wanted black almond shaped shellac nails and they turned out great!!! Not crooked or varying sizes! Our appointment was on time, everything was very clean, the conversation and atmosphere was very pleasant! High recommend!

Did a good job. Women who work there are a HOOT! Practice good COVID cleanliness and require you to wash hands upon entry and wide down costumer touched surfaces between appointments. They have plastic screen to separate costumer from employee.

This is my first time here, and this was great! They were busy, and when i first got there, i didnt have a good impression because they didnt seem friendly (prob cox they were speaking in another language and there were minimal communication to customers) we barely talked but i then noticed she was very patient and detailed with the design, and she spent a lot of time making the acrylic looks more natural and even shapes for all the fingers. The price is good, about average and work gets done, i would recommend this place if you just need your nails done, but prob wouldnt be somewhere if you are planning a girls date to relax and serviced

My experience was good at first but then they started to be rude when I asked them to make my acrylics shorter. They were rushing us out before my nails were dry and we had to ask for our change when we payed with a $100 bill. The lady also reached intomy friends shirt to retrieve the money so we could pay. They also chipped my nail polish and got mad when I asked them to fix it as well as not fully painting my nail. They also hassled us to over tip and they did not deserve it. Overall they were rude and we will not return

I went there for first time and it won’t be last! I had shellac manicure and after two weeks my nails still look great. She spent her time on cleaning my cuticles. I know in most nail salons you don’t get a proper cuticle care so I appreciate that.

Ive been coming here for almost 3 years now, and theyre by far the best nail place around! Friendly, clean, good prices, and just good quality. Definitely call and make an appointment because the shop is very small and fills up quick. They do take walk-ins when they dont have appointments scheduled, but I prefer not to chance it.

I got dip powder here for the first time a couple weeks ago. I had an appointment set up on a Sunday and they started working on my nails within 4 minutes of my appointment time. This Sunday my nails will be at the two week mark and so far they are holding up wonderfully! The process was nice and painless: it only takes a few bad experiences to make that a priority. The location is SMALL. Just three chairs for nails and three for pedicures. I would definitely recommend making an appointment.

The staff here are all fantastic. They are also very friendly, kind and sweet. Shu always does my shellac manicure. She does a fabulous job. Everything is always really precise and beautiful. I thoroughly recommend this salon.

I have tried all the salons in Kirkland and now refuse to go anywhere else. My nails are always perfectly done and last 3 weeks. Yen is Amazing and her staff are very friendly and easy to talk to.

I used to be a client of Jennifers Nails in Bellevue for years and about a year ago I stopped going to them because their service and cleanliness not to mention friendliness went down the drain! Ive been searching for a new place to replace Jennifers for over a year and I swear have tried just about every salon until I came across Lake Street Nail Bar. Gloria was fantastic and made sure the shape and cut of my nails was exactly as I asked. My nails look fake even though theyre my real nails! I will definitely be back! I think Ive found my new spot! I love how the salon is small and intimate. Its nothing fancy but its quick in and out and thats what I look for as well as great cuticle care and polish. Only thing Id say is I wish they also gave shoulder massages but I can live without it. Thanks so much for the great service and great mani & pedi!

I always get my nails done here. They do a great job and last a long time. My last manicure lasted 3 weeks!

Inconsistent. Had to micro manage the lady that gave me acrylic nails and still got cut and left kind of upset. Not the worst manicure, I just prefer to relax when I get my nails done and not be nit picky but I had to!

My daughter and I went there as walk-ins -- like the sandwich board sign says. However, upon attempting to walk-in, we were met with a closet sized space (literally, my closet is larger), and a very curt woman telling us to leave because they had no more appointments available. There were two people waiting, and a couple of ladies getting nails done. There were also two ladies paying their bills. All of this activity was right in front of the door. The curt woman was still telling us to leave and come back tomorrow. Not a friendly place, and after seeing how we were treated, we will NOT return. Terrible, terrible customer service!! If I could give less than one star...I would.

Inconsistency to say the least. I have been giving this salon my business for quite a while and I have been more than tolerant of the attitude not only to me but almost everyone and especially those who walked in this particular day. I havent been going as frequently due to family issues out of state so I had been away for about 3 months. Forgot to make an appointment and decided to take them up on the signage and do a walk in at exactly 10 a.m. Waited across the street at starbucks until they opened. Walked in at 10 and was told they were busy. No clients but they were busy. Ok. Sweeping and cleaning I suppose will lead to clients here at some point. They said I could take a walk and come back in 10 and if the appointment didnt show then they could do my nails. There were 3 technicians cleaning. I walked and checked out a few other local places and returned. She said rather curtly upon my return ok, I do nails. My nails were done and I asked if, since there were no clients, if someone could do a pedicure. She spoke to another tech and agreed that I could have a pedicure. Minutes pass and clients walk in and an appointment walked in late and I was then told there was no time for me and no pedicure. The woman waiting for the service who was late to her appointment stated that she had no problem waiting and could wait for me to do a pedicure if I would like. I was then met with an abrupt no, no time. Finished my manicure and then abruptly led me to the cashier. After more than a year frequenting the place it is apparent I find a new salon. Walked around the corner to Bayside Nail Spa and was greeted by Ann, the owner, who was more than welcoming, who set me up with Sophia who took her time and care in giving me a first class pedicure for a very reasonable price. In fact, the prices are exactly the same or lower than Lake Street Nail Bar. So happy to finally have another salon that appreciates my business and takes such good care of their clients.

I booked an appointment within an hour due to ingrown toe nails, they were killing me. Surprisingly they took me in. Arrived, the place was packed but no wating for me cuz I had the appointment. They did so well I ended up with a many as well. Others customers beside me told me nothing but good services and get what you pay for. Dont let one star review scares you. By the way, im out of state and they helped me with the pain in a short notice.

Great prices, clean and a great pedicure every time. There are a ton of nail places in Kirkland and after trying 4 or 5 I’ll go to this place every time.

Visited this place with high expectations after hearing recommendations and reading reviews. However, I was disappointed: the girl that did my gel polish was running around taking calls and taking care of the customers that walked in, didnt pay attention to the manicure and felt like the manicure was rushed. After it was done, the polish surface wasnt (well, still isnt) even, it doesnt cover the whole nail (it looks like the nails grew off a little) and the cuticles not only werent done in a tidy manner but also skin started growing in a weird way. Will not be coming back

Went in with my wife for a pedicure. The tech cut my toe so bad I ended up throwing away my socks by the end of the day due to the amount of blood on them.
