Tiffany is fabulous! As someone who is very particular about their hair AND whose had a fair share of bad haircut experiences, I was thoroughly impressed with how comfortable she made me feel about the whole process. She explained everything as she went along and the finished product was exactly what I wanted. Would absolutely recommend!

I love this salon! Its open every day and the Aveda hair products they use are fabulous! They will recommend which one is best for your type of hair. And, I love the hand and foot cream. Hairdressers Shannon, Jasmine, and Amy are a few that Ive had to style my hair.

Ava and Alison are awesome! I’ve been going to both of them for years and have always had a great experience. I love my highlights and color from Ava every time, even when we try something different. Alison does a great job with my cuts. She knows exactly what to do to achieve what I’m looking for. I’m always so happy when I walk out of the salon. Becky at the front desk is great too.

Ive been going for almost 4 years now and no complaints. I got compliments from my latest hairdo from Amy! Definitely Jeff/Amy are the better stylists but no one that has given me a bad cut yet. Im not really good at planning too far ahead - and this place works with a good standard when youre like that. Ava is good with the color - but cant go wrong with Julie either. Some of the front desk staff can seem a little unfriendly but other than that - no complaints from any of the stylists/color!

I really like this salon!! Ive gotten my hair color done there by Ava for the past few years. Ava is amazing and knows exactly what I want my hair to look like, it ALWAYS turns out better than I expected. Thank you so much for listening patiently! I always leave feeling great and receive compliments at home and work the next day. I was shocked when reading the reviews! I have been going to this salon for all of my haircare needs (cut, color, blow outs) and occasional manicures for 8 years or so. I love the staff, my stylist and colorist as well as those who have helped me with blow outs around the holidays and during a recent bathroom renovation :) Thank you Alicia, Anita, Jasmin, Amy, and Natasha. My appointments are on time, thorough and efficient and everyone is professional and skilled. I have been getting Ava to color my hair for the last 7 years and am so thrilled to have found her. I no longer live near King of Prussia and still drive almost an hour to see her! She is a very talented colorist and always executes exactly what I’m looking for. She is incredibly thorough and precise and the balayage she does always looks so beautiful. I get compliments on the color ALL the time! Not only is she a wonderful colorist but a great person as well. She treats her clients as friends, is thoughtful, a great listener, and so fun to talk to. I would absolutely recommend her for a color service! You will not regret it. She really is the best!

I have been going to this salon for a few years now. Everyone is always friendly and polite. The salon is very clean. Beyond that Ava does great color. I cant let anyone else touch my hair after having her! Jeff also does great a cut and style. I always look and feel good when I leave.

After years of searching, I have finally found my stylists!Ava is the best colorist in the area. Her Balayage is perfect--from the placement of the highlights to the color choice. Never brassy--I always had problems in the past with the color, but not here.I get my haircuts and blowouts from Alicia. Perfect precision cuts. If I want only a dusting, I get a dusting. Layers are seamless. Her blowouts are the longest lasting blowouts that I have ever had.I highly recommend Ava and Alicia. Even if I would move out of this area, I would come back to Jean Madeline to get my hair done by these two phenomenal stylists!

Ive only gone for waxing services, never hair. Natasha is the only person I trust with my eyebrows since I learned my lesson when I went somewhere else in a pinch. She provided advice on where I should let the hair grow in and what color pencil to use to fill them so they look their best. She takes her time, will trim & pluck where necessary, and shes so nice. Irene is also really great.

I feel compelled to leave a review after reading others experiences. Ive been attending this salon for about two years and not once have I received poor treatment or experienced a rude employee. This is a no frills kind of salon but clean, comfortable, and most importantly their stylists are good at what they do. I often recommend this place to friends.

Been going to Ava for my color for years. She is fantastic. The team is very friendly and accomodating even for some last minute appointment requests. Love Alison for a cut but schedule sometimes is limited so I’ve tried other stylists as well and everyone is pretty good.

I booked a last minute appointment and they were able to accommodate my time frame. Christina was my hair stylist and she was very professional and friendly. The positive reviews about her online are correct, she is an awesome stylist. She was on time for her appointment, she trimmed my hair exactly as I wanted, - and the scalp massage was a great bonus. I will definitely be back there next month!

I have been going to Jean Madeline for the past 4 years or so and Alison is the best. I always feel gorgeous leaving the salon. They do always seem busy at the front desk but they are friendly and welcoming and give you a little scalp massage when they wash your hair which is always nice.

If I could rate zero stars I most certainly would. I specifically asked when booking my appointment if the stylist would be comfortable cutting my hair dry as I have very difficult hair and people often struggle with cutting it. I was told that shouldnt be a problem. When I arrived for my appointment my stylist was stuck in traffic and I sat and waited for her only to have her arrive and tell me there was no way she felt comfortable cutting my hair dry. I told the stylist Jasmine, that I was told over the phone it wouldnt be a problem, she was rude and condescending and said it was. I went and waited to speak with the manager, Jasmine walked up to the counter and muttered to the ladies Good luck about me. I was polite with the manager. I told her I realize this may be their policy and I respect that but I specifically asked over the phone if theyd cut my hair dry and I was told it would be OK. I drove an hour for this pointless appointment. She apologized and said her guest services department will be retrained on their policies. Thats great but I would like to have not wasted my Saturday morning.

Ava does the best hair color I’ve experienced. I used to work as a model in Manhattan And Chicago and I am very particular about my hair color. I highly recommend her if you ever come to Jean Madeline King of Prussia.

Came here for an Up Do with Jeffery D. Very personable and friendly. It took a while to figure out what to do with my hair because the style I had provided in a picture wasnt quite working out. Jeffery used his expertise to create a beautiful up do and continued to keep my talking points in mind. $90 is the price for updos here

I have been going to the KOP salon for 15+ years. Ava ❤️does a great job coloring and highlighting my hair to keep me looking younger 😀 Shannon and Jasmine have been keeping my haircut stylish too. I got my hair cut by Alicia my first time and she was great! I have long hair and it cost $38, and I loved the haircut and the price.The second time I went here, I got Allison. She didnt give my hair as nice a cut as Alicia, and then afterwards she asked me if Id like her to blow dry my hair or walk out with it wet. I asked her to simply dry it, and I was in a rush so although I thought the price was higher than I remembered, I realized after the fact she charged me for a blow out. Complete BS! I was charged $60 for a cut that was average at best (and Im fine with average, for an average price...). I once treated myself to one of the top salons in Philadelphia and that was $70 plus tip. And that was a REAL $70 haircut.Allison, the combination of your below average haircut, your fake personality and the fact the you scam your customers is why I learned to trim my hair myself, and have been doing so successfully since the 1.5 years ago you attempted to cut my hair. So I actually want to thank you, you have saved me a lot of money by making me realize that ~$15 for well-rated hair cutting shears and YouTube videos are more beneficial to both my hair and bank account than having you ever cut it again. And even 1.5 years later the experience still has me so fired up that I decided to leave a review...Alicia was a sweetheart and actually skilled at cutting hair though. So no hate on her. Allison was just bad enough to ruin professional haircuts on me for life.

Not going back again. Receptionist with thick blonde highlights was rude and the stylist didnt listen to what I was saying, so now my bangs are long and untouched and my hair is shorter than I wanted. Receptionist didnt greet me and walked away while saying have a good day (very snarky might I add) before I could ask any questions or get any samples. Over priced and unhappy with my hair. And whoever keeps removing my review I can do this till Im blue in the face.

I was treated to the most amazing facial and bacial experience! I have had many facials before but never a bacial (facial to your nack) so I had no idea what to expect! It was simply wonderful! If you want to feel like a queen book your appointment with Leslie Correa. She will pamper you with the royal treatment!

I have had mixed experiences, but I have never had a bad haircut here as long as its just a trim. I go back because as long as I can get Alicia or Lindsay, I know I will get a decent haircut. Alicia is my first choice as she is so sweet and makes the entire experience pleasant. The head massage is great too. I have to agree with others that the desk staff have a lot to learn about being welcoming and professional. I have only tried two other stylists there - one very senior stylist who gave me an excellent haircut and lots of advice, but with a very steep price tag (cant remember her name). The other was Danielle, who had time-keeping problems. Once I was kept waiting over 30 minutes, and on the next occasion when I tried her, she was so far behind, I was asked to re-schedule.Update - A couple of months ago, I had a haircut by a different person (not Alicia or Lindsey) who had given me a fairly good trim in the past. I think she is a junior stylist. This time I asked for some light layering to be put in. It was awful. When I pointed out the poor symmetry, she explained it was because of my slightly off-center part (?). Then she tried to blend it in to make it look better, and it was even worse. I never have the heart to complain and hurt someone. Its hair; it will grow. But I wont risk going back here to get the layers trimmed. I just had my hair cut recently with my first choice hairdresser (not at Jean Madelaine), and she pointed out how bad the layering was at the back as well as completely asymmetcial at the front. She asked me if a friend did it because it was so unprofessional. So I have to wonder how those stylists are trained to layer. Anyway, in future I will book my fave hairdresser ahead of time, and not try to get in with anyone at Jean Madeline at the last minute.

Terrible experience. I was on time for my 1PM appointment yet they moved someone who was late for their appointment into my appointment time. Not to mention the place smells of burnt hair and staffed by incompetent employees. Don’t waste your time going to this terrible establishment.

One of the worst customer service I ever received in The one J & M which is located at court King Of Prussia Mall . As everyone told they r themselves & such a rude manager & the receptionist . I m a regular aveda salon customer for highlights & I recently found this salon referred through corporate aveda store in plaza & I had been there two time s before & did say to add the tip in credit card twice & I was not told that only cash is allowed to pay the tip by the receptionist . Most professional salons they add in credit card & they themselves give the cash to the stylist . But today the receptionist was rude & told can’t add up the tip & she called the manager & instead of sorting the problem the manager pulled out my previous bills & told tip was not added & they would have informed me earlier as if she was present in that situation .And my question is if I didn’t pay twice the tip y will the stylist wanted me to book it for my highlights next time . Sorry the rudest attitude ever & I m sure I m gonna miss the stylist who did twice for me previously . Poor management & attitude .Even if I had carried the money I would not have given the tip for treating the customers like this . Sorry my last time to this salon

The worst salon ever! I had my balayage done in the Kop salon and I showed the colorist a picture of the ash blonde color but the color came out as orangy yellow tone it was not ash by any means I went back and asked her to fix it she agreed to put the ash toner on but my balayage completely disappeared its just looks like one toned color it doesnt have the balayage effect. I regret going there and wasting my time and money. She basically damaged my hair with the Chemicals I was better off with my original hair color. The front desk staff is not friendly at all. I will never go back to this place again!!! My friend warned me but I didnt listen please dont go there you will regret too!!

I have gone to Jean Madeline Salon in KoP for decades & a lot of the reviews are correct in that Marie and front desk can be a bit rude and unwelcoming. Its a crap shoot.....This past week I had a combo color, corrected color from getting a Cezanne Straightening Treatment + cut/blow dry ($$$/+tipping) and my color was off (that was on a Wednesday). I called salon and they said I had to come in within 2 weeks in order to have it corrected again:( So I just came from there (today Sunday) and color is better, but after getting done Wednesday and having to wash and restyle it on Friday for a function on Saturday, I was NOT going to pay again for a blow dry (35.00)......So heres the thing, if your going to dry your own hair, they give you the crappiest blow dryer with 0 air flow and a basket of old worn out hair brushes and its impossible to blow dry your hair. I would have drug my own but thought why should I. Kerri did lend me one of the stylists blow dryers, finally. The brushes were breaking off the ends of my hair:((. I was and still am pissed and am thinking of switching salons ~ finally! One with clean bathroom and a few up-to-date magazines, so I can relax. And a front end who gives a crap and dont have to deal with moodiness. I also find Aveda Color to be very drying.Disgruntled, long time customer.

I love this salon. The colorist who helps me is Katy and my stylist is Alicia. I have used Evada salons in NY. Arizona, and Pennsylvania and I think that Katy is a very meticulous and gifted colorist who makes my highlights look natural. Alicia gives me the best haircuts I have ever had and I do shop around for (Aveda) stylists. I also have great people in salons in Sedona AZ and in Middletown NY.

Can NOT recommend the service at the salon. I went there for the product because I I love Aveda but every time I go I am horrified at the service - or lack there of!!! I made an appointment over the phone to get my hair colored and no one mentioned that did not include drying it. After my color was applied I was told I could use their basket of disgusting hairbrushes filled with other peoples hair and a blow dryer in the corner to dry my own hair. I was stunned and asked why and was told I did not specify I wanted my hair dried. Any reasonable person would assume that after coloring their hair the salon would check the result by at least drying it for you. I dont expect an extravagant styling job but REALLY - you cant even dry my hair. That was third strike. I will go to Adolf Bieker in Strafford instead - they treat you well.
