My tire exploded on the way to key west. I have a German car with a more rare tire size and couldnt find any tires in the area. This shop was nice enough to put my spare on for me within a 5 minute notice. The tech was extremely polite and had me back up and running in minutes :)I ended up special ordering a tire for my car in key west thank goodness it all worked out! But I wouldnt have made it to key west with out Key largo auto and tire! Thanks guys!

From the moment the owner first spoke to me, there was a sense of trust and openness. I had a noise coming from my vehicle that was worrying me being that I was on a road trip and the owner directly addressed me and took it for a test drive to get an idea of the severity of the noise. He gave me his professional opinion that the noise and the way it drove didn’t raise any severe concern. If I ever have an issue with my vehicle anywhere on the keys or south Florida, I’m bringing it straight to this man!

Drove my Jeep Wrangler down from Tampa to the Keys. Got a slow flat from a busted stem. The place where I was staying recommended I call Bob. I did, and he took care of me that day, even calling up to the local Auto Zone to make sure they took care of me for something. That may not seem like a big deal, but I really appreciated how he handled everything honestly, professionally, and personally.

They did wiring on our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan for a 5 pin electrical plug to pull a trailer. Bob had a good price, service and everything worked well.Also had my rear brakes serviced and pads replaced on my 2015 Hyundai Sonata. Friendly service, no frills shop across from Rowells Community Park.

Had screw in tire. Was visiting and expected problems getting it fixed. Drove in. They took the wheel off immediately, found the screw and plugged it well within a half hour. Great service.

On vacation and Bob, owner operator, solved our check engine light, engine sputtering, smoke and gas out of tailpipe and as bonus, fixed our broken ac( thought it was compressor and$1000 fix) and got us back on the road in about 24 hours. Good price and even though we live over 2 hours away, will make this our shop.

On the way from Canada we drove over a tire tread that hit our exhaust system and must have cracked it as we drove it became progressively louder. I could not get under the car to see exactly what was wrong. Dropped it off this morning and an hour later Bob called to say it was broken Y pipe next to the catalytic converter. He explained he was not equipped to fix it but referred me to a shop in Homestead he knew well. Then he didn’t want to charge me. I made him take a 50 and went to Homestead. All fixed for $125.00 in 30 minutes. It sure is great to find a good honest shop when you need one.

Got here at 11:30 AM, and the guy refused service although noon is the close time stated on Google. Guy seemed rude any ways.

While visiting family Labor Day weekend I had the differential go out on my truck. The counter person at NAPA recommended Bob Gould. Bob knew I was from out of town, but treated me with fairness and honesty. Ford no longer sells parts for this differential, but when I drove down the next Friday he had his mechanics work an hour past closing time installing a used rear axle assembly to get me back on the road. Then, he even gave me a substantial discount over the recommended book labor charges. Bob is a genuine Saint.

Bob is the best mechanic Ive ever been to. Spent a lot of time on my car when I was visiting Key Largo in March even though he was busy, charged me next to nothing, and even drove me around afterward to prove that the problem was fixed. Im moving to Miami in July and plan on driving to see Bob whenever I have a major car problem.

Had a nail in our tire and were visiting from Staurt. They took us right away, fixed the issue and charged us only $10.. Nice folks and so appreciate their fast, friendly service for our of towners.

Another Keys oxymoron, an honest, old fashioned mechanic. They know their stuff and will get you back on the road at a fair price. Any thing from batteries and tires to complete engine rebuild -- nothing intimidates them and they do it right.

Customer service was great and the price was very reasonable.

Bob Gould had been taking care of my 2002 Silverado since w moved to the Keys in 2005, and my wifes 2006 Sebring since it was new. The truck has 150,000 miles, and the Sebring is closing in on 100,000, and we expect Bob will keep them both going for twice their current mileages. We wont go anywhere else.
