Its Saturday 12:53 pm. Google says the shop closes at 2pm. My son and I are new in town and tried to park in front, but full. After circling the block 4 times a spot opens up and we attempt to park. Only that a truck in the road with two men are honking profusely at us and two women standing in front of the store motioning us to back out. Very unfriendly. I ask to why all the drama. Barbershop is closed and rented out to a wedding venue. I will not give my business here.

I have searched high and low for someone to cut a proper low fade. Alana has done so without fail every time I go! She can also fix your shotty beard trim if you ever screw it up yourself. I leave there looking like a professional gentleman every time. Can’t say good enough things about their work

I got an excellent haircut, my beard and mustache trimmed, all at a very fair price. The barber cut my hair using clippers and scissors, shaping it well, and tapering it on the back and sides. Best haircut I’ve had in years. Not many places give this much attention to detail. It’s got the atmosphere of a classy, old fashioned barbershop, and they sell a variety of brands of beer, and let you customize your six-pack.

Well I havent actually gotten a haircut or a buzz at this establishment yet. The reason I visited this place was because of my daughter. My daughter is an artist of the hill country, Kerrville Tx, precisely! They were so kind to host a Big Seed Little Seed showing for young artist to sell their art. My daughter did okay in her sells. The place was still working progress but I could tell it was going to be a very unique barber shop just like in 1962😊! I would like to Thank the owners again for hosting the event!

The owner cut my hair. Great conversation. Offered me a beer. Shaved with a straight razor. Speak easy and food trucks in the back. This place is a hill country gem.

25$. For a men’s haircut Is my main issue with this barber shop. Parking is very limited and for pickup trucks it’s limited to on the street.Other that that my haircut was fine, the location is good and the people are very pleasant and the decor was a nice retro early 60s

Had my first cut today, with Lorenzo. Great experience all-around. A key driver for me is price. My wife’s been cutting my hair for some years now and it was nice to avoid spending $20+/month.1962 Barber cost me $30 + tip, but Lorenzo did a great job.Men: just wait for the “secret serum” at the end. It’s a real barber experience front to finish. I’ll be back.P.S. I was warned NOT to park in Nobilitea’s lot. Park on north side or in back.

Family run barber and beauty salon with an old school vibe. Excellent service and conversation, drinks offered while you wait. Straight razor shaves available. Quality hair care products sold. Only down side is closed weekends. Really love this place!

If youre looking for a good mens haircut, dont go anywhere else. After 3 years of being disappointed by other salons/barber shops, I finally found a great one. The atmosphere is great and to say Daniel is an excellent barber is an understatement. I left there educated and with a haircut I was proud of. Now I wont go any where elsePS. Make an appointment. I walked in once before and they didnt have a slot open. It was several months before I tried again. Now I wish I would have gone back sooner.

Stopped by for the first time and got a great hair cut. They offered me a drink and got right to cutting my hair. The barber shop has a great feel to it and is the only place in Kerrville that knows how to trim a beard

This is by far the best barber shop and salon. Its dang sure the best in kerrville. Amazing personal service, awesome atmosphere, and a team of the best stylist. Once you walk in the door your experience begins. Plus, theres free beer. How can you go wrong, i ask? Well, your going wrong by not getting your hair done here.

Walked in was refused service, guy told me they were full up with only one customer in building no one else around. The guy seemed like he just wanted to go home which I understand, but there was still an hour to go.Dont appreciate it will not return

Daniel at 1962 is everything a good Barber should be. He takes his time to understand exactly what I want my hair to look like and then does it! They have also cut 3 of my kids hair as well and were not going anywhere else. Best shop in Kerrville.
