I had a terrible experience. First they wanted to overcharge me for a design, I changed my design for a much simpler one. Finally, the design I wanted had nothing to do with the one they made me. They charged me $ 60 for some badly made, full of balls, with unpainted spaces, and the nails up as if they were stuck in the air. Horrible, terrible quality. I will never go there again.

Within 1 day two of my nails broke off. Now its been less than a week and 4 nails have come off and my thumb nail is chipped. Nails were very weak. When nail tech was done I still hand extra nail product on my fingers. When I left my nails looked like a 5 yr old had done them. I went back and requested the nail tech fix them. But honestly they still looked horrible. 70.00 wasted.

This is my favorite place to go. I never leave disappointed at all. I have no complaints of their service or their time management. Make sure to make your apt earlier in the week if you are looking for a weekend apt. The weekends are their busiest days for sure. I do highly recommend.

I love the job they do. The quality of the art is fantastic and their work is great. They do whatever you ask and the people are friendly. Why just two stars? They don’t honor appointments. The last time I made one, it was an HOUR past. I had to leave without getting my nails done. It’s always a wait but that was unreal. Who has time for that?

Considering the COVID situation, Solar did an excellent job with their services. My nails are on point and its nice to know I can go to any of the workers and know they are all excellent at their work

Recently moved to Keizer and came across this Nail salon. Has a busy atmosphere, made an appointment and was seen right away. Not going to lie i was a bet nervous since Im picky with my nails. Showed her a picture of just how I wanted them and Im impress! she did such a great job! Very happy with the results.

The price is right but the business could use a makeover. The chairs are pealing apart and the shellac machines are very dirty. The girls are nice and they are always busy! Try to call ahead and make an appointment.

I had a 5 o’clock appointment that I made the day before they were packed when I came in (probably not following covid rules everyone was super close) and on top of that they told us with the appointment we still had to wait 20 minutes and we had to go outside right after my husband dropped me off because I had an appointment and thought i’d be right in or only wait about 5-10 min. DONT TAKE WALK INS OR DONT PLAN SO MANY PEOPLE AT THE SAME TIME IF YOU WONT BE READY

I love all the girls here! Its very clean and welcoming. The only thing Id say needs work is when you have an appointment sometimes you have to wait a little bit. But other than that Id 100% recommend this place. It can get pretty busy but honestly the nails are worth it!

Brought my mama and a few of my girls here. We all felt so spoiled and ended up with cute nails. The staff are so kind. When Im in town this will be my go to.

They used to be good but they grew too much and their customer service has gone down tremendously especially during COVID. When you call to see if there ia appointment times available they say yes and to come in, when you do, they take forever. Today I got a pedi and I was in the water for a good 10 mins without any one saying they would come over soon. In the mean time, more people are coming in and all the stations are busy.

I came to get a pink ombré and when I went home I wasn’t satisfied with the way they turned out. The nail lady didn’t blend the colors correctly so it looked like a blob on the nail. I went back and asked them to fix it or simply to do one simple color instead. The owner came over and said I would have to pay an additional $20 to fix my nails. I then explained to her I wasn’t happy with the nails they had already done on me and that wasn’t what I wanted/asked for. The lady argued with me instead of making me (the client) happy. The nail lady stated all they could do was fix the already terrible looking nails and so that’s what I opted for because I wasn’t going to give them a single dollar more. The end result turned out exactly the same. There was no difference. I left this place even more dissatisfied. I will never be returning to this place. Absolutely horrible management and horrible service. As a business, you should be able to work with your clients and make them happy so they can come back not disregard what they’re saying after they’re investing in your business. Absolutely disrespectful people who lack professionalism.

Ive been getting my nails done here for months, I really like the low cost, quality and cleanliness. Some of the ladies arent as good as others and they each have their strengths. As long as you know what you want and you can ask for a different girl if you dont like what youre getting, this place is the best.

The only thing I wish was different was for her to rub my feet/legs longer!!! Thats the best part.. they are pretty busy though, got me in immediately.

Ive changed my rating because this place obviously listened to their customers and stopped over booking. Got mine done by the gal that answers the phone and she did a fantastic job. I did not feel rushed and she used 6-7 different colors to achieve the look I desired. Very happy with my winter wonderland nails!

Worst nail salon I have visited by far! Not impress at all. Customer service is mediocre. I made an appointment for 4:00pm and was not seen until 4:45. What are appointments for?My pedicurist was not very experienced and prices a very high for the quality of service and the look of the establishment. Does not look very clean and it’s messy. This place needs a deep cleaning and some reorganization.Oh I forgot to mention after you pay $25 for a basic pedicure, you also have to pay $2.00 Extra for a file ?? 😵. Came here to get my wedding mani/pedi. I walked-in without an appt a little after 10am and was able to get in almost immediately. Word of caution: it did get much busier less than an hour later though.As for the services ...definitely very happy with my nails and loved having picts of them for the wedding. It seems a little on the higher priced side (though I havent gotten my nails done in a while) but very worth it because they did a great job. Staff was beyond friendly and very sweet 🥰 I felt pampered through the whole experience!

The pedicure is poor... the tech doesn’t understand a word I’m saying Answers “yeah” and shakes head to everything I say as far as questions about the service. She is continually coughing. I’m concerned about my health here Not a place to go!!! Beware!!!! She won’t give her name.. I’ve been many places in the world for pedicures... this is in the top 3 of the very worst and definitely one of the shadiest!!!!

Sad to say very disappointed. I seriously dislike confronting people but when the job was terribly wrong,I asked them to correct it. They did a better job after I complained. I said thank you for fixing it and gave a nice tip. As I walked out nothing was said to be, no goodbye like all the other customers or thank you for coming.As I walked out I felt very uncomfortable and was upset.All because I called them out and said no, this is not acceptable at all.Im sorry it wasnt a good experience at all. What should have been done is they should have asked if I was happy with services and they should have apologized and said I hope you return.I seriously would have gone back. Customer service is something so important and should be done.

Went in for a shellac pedicure which is supposed to be $40, ended up charging me $45 because they removed my old shellac. I have never been charged for this before. The lady doing my pedicure ended up cutting to deep on the side of my big toe, it started bleeding and not only will they tell one thing, they end up charging you more.Also, they will overbook appointments so expect to wait from 30-45 or more after your appointment time. I suggest you don’t bother spending your $$ here I’ve been to better nail salons.

I scheduled an appt ahead of time (which I recommend especially for weekends) My whole time of there was less than 1hr, even though they were busy as heck! They are always very rushed. My acrylics looked decent but when I went back to have them removed they pried them off without first soaking in acetone. Extremely painful and damaging. They filed my nails so aggressively I started bleeding. I would not recommend.

This was my first time coming to this nail salon and I was blown away at how good they were. They got me in and out really fast and I gotta say, this is the best nails I’ve ever gotten. I got a full acrylic set and my nail tech was so detail oriented! Did I mention I was a walk-in? I am only coming here from now on.

If i could rate this with no stars I definitely would. I would like to start off by saying that i am extremely disgusted with their customer service!! I was recommended to go to this place to get my nails done. The lady who did my nails was not detail oriented, and did my nails so fast they ended up very sloppy. Even after I told her to clean up the edges on my nails. She seemed to get annoyed and ignored me and continued to help another paying customer like myself. When I said “excuse me ma’am” she said in a very rude tone and a intense look in her face “WHAT!! I asked her if she would please fix my nails... as she stopped with the other customers nails, she began to work on my nail. And instead of cleaning up the edges with a nail clipper she instead used her finger nails. That was so uncalled for and very disrespectful. I will never go back to this location ever again.. ladies nails now on Lancaster are amazing, and they provide you with their fully attentive attention. Don’t waste your money here.

They do a better job than most in the area. I dont bother with my fingernails, just Pedicures. However when I bring my son with me they rush him thru. Even though he doesnt get his toes painted, they could at least still massage his legs as long as they do mine and make sure his toes are in top top shape. He was done in half the time.

So I had previously left a good review for this place but after they took a $10 tip instead of my $6 I am a little upset. I went to get a fill and I tipped what I would consider a good amount (it was $35 for a fill I could have just done $5 and made it $40 even but I did an extra dollar) but that was apparently not good enough. Super frustrating. I ended up going back asking to see my receipt and getting the $4 back but that should have never happened. I will not be returning.

I have been coming here for about 3 years. The service is one of a kind! They are personable, fun, great sense of humor, and amazingly talented. They work so hard and done care that I’m super picky. They actually talk to everyone and not just to themselves too! I even bring my daughter and her friends here! Great for the whole family!

The nail tech was very rushed, she cut just about every finger with her dremel tool and put the tools back in her little container to use on the next person without sanitizing/sterilizing my blood off of it!My nails look cute and the price is nice but I’m going to put triple antibiotic on these cuts and hope I don’t get an infection from this service.

I would give them a 5 star but many times they don’t answer their phone. If it is during business hours, they should have someone answering the phone all the time, even when they are busy. They say that they except walk-ins, but every time I call to get a same day appointment or if I walk in, they turn me away because they’re booked for the day. I have even called first thing in the morning when they open, and they tell me they are already booked for the day. Even on weekdays. I get that it’s great for their business, but it’s incredibly frustrating on a customer level. They should just change their policy to “appointments only“ and prepare people for the fact that it could be a couple days before they can get you in. Additionally, every time I have had an appointment, I’m never seen at the time of my appointment. I am always waiting longer than my appointment time. But when you are being serviced, their customer service is great and they do a good job!

I came here for the first time today and was very impressed. Bree did my nails for my wedding and it took two hours but they looked amazing! She didnt rush through it at all despite the fact there was a line of at least 8 people right at opening (on a Thursday believe it or not). Clearly this is the place to go. Great prices and great service. I also got my lip and eyebrows waxed. Great job on that too. I will definitely be coming back in the future and I recommend this place to anyone looking for expert nail artists.

Got a full set, half the tips were put on cooked. Some are filed at a slant. The tops are all bumpy and lop sided. They didnt push my cuticles back so after 6 days they look majorly grown out. They do amazing designs but the quality is horrible. My suggestion, get you nails done and filled elsewhere and maybe just maybe come here for color/design change. I now have an appt elsewhere for a full removal and new complete set. Solar nails is a joke! The people that love it clearly hasnt gone to anything better to know any better. Nails 101....push the damn cuticles back, trim of needed. Ugh.

Worst experience Ive had in 5+years of getting my nails done. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in on a Friday (my only day off) which I understand tends to be a busy day but when youre paying for a service it should not be rushed just because theres others also wanting their nails done. I was recommended by a friend because she always has a good experience. When I showed up early to my appointment which was at 3pm I still had to wait. That was fine because like I said I understand its busy. I had a set of acrylics from my regular nail tech (Tam from Forever nails, go to him instead). I asked them to remove my nails and do a whole new set, instead she files them down and leaves a huge part of acrylic from the previous set and puts a tip on top of those! Didnt straighten out the nail, left them super THICK and bumpy. The colors were fine but I just was not happy with the service I got for $55.00 Im very disappointed and will never be coming back here.

I give it 0 Stars! Im not sure about the salon itself but there is one worker in particular who did my sons nails. She happened to be surprised that he wanted to get work done and she continuously asked him the reason why he wanted to paint his nails and why he wanted a manicure! She made him feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome! My son is a very sweet and humble boy so he answered all her questions politely and still went ahead and got the work done. This rude ignorant women obviously did not like my son for God knows why! And she ended up giving him really bad service! It looks like my 4 year old did his nails. Im so disappointed because of how she made my son feel! If you are Male and want work done here I suggest you take your business elsewhere because she will treat you the same!

I and my 3 daughters had pedicures on a busy Saturday by an appointment, booked earlier in week. To make a long story short, we were worked in between others receiving services, so they were coming and going with different girls piecemealing our time there. The work was rushed and incomplete as well as a very poor outcome. Our nails weren’t painted completely with bare spots and polish was left on our cuticles and skin..polish chipped of after a few days and my nails were filed crooked and roughly. I have never seen anything like it. The work was so shoddy that I wondered if they were sanitizing properly between clients because I didn’t see anyone changing the disposable liners in the foot soak tub when they were done, just an observation........I would recommend you go anywhere but “Solar Nails”.

I love to get my nails done here, because they do super well. The only issue is that they ALWAYS over book. When I schedule an appointment I usually have to wait a half an hour. I booked 3 of us to get pedicures and we waited 30 min and only 2 of us sat together while the other one waited another 15 minutes before being seen. Sometimes they rush and make little mistakes. Despite this all, I enjoy coming here. They just need to learn to use their time more wisely.

No! This salon is dark. How the heck does one get good acrylic nails done in a dark room? It does not go well! Overpriced. Bad service. Nails do not last! Won’t return.

Every time I have gone in they have done horrible on my nails. The first time a lady did my nails and the acrylic was bumpy on top of my nails and they are not only uneven every time I go but also choppy and jagged. They don’t even paint the whole nail with matte either. I wouldn’t never suggest this place to anyone.

Ive been coming her for a couple years now, and its a very clean, nice place to get your nails done. The employees are also very nice. However, the years I have been coming here, they have always over booked themselves. I ALWAYS make an appointment and I ALWAYS am waiting way past my appointment time. Today Im writing this because I have now been waiting an hour after my set appointment time. That is absolutely absurd! Im contemplating on whether or not its still worth it to come here because of this problem. Im a loyal customer. I shouldnt have to wait this long. I think its because they take walk ins and dont time them correctly with the people who have taken the time to make appointments. Im very disappointed.

The nail technicians are very thorough and give great manicures and pedicures. The prices are very reasonable.

Came here as a bridal party. Made the appointment about a week in advance. At the same time the staff was trying to accommodate another bridal party as well, no big deal. But the salon was overbooked and understaffed. We waited nearly 45 minutes to begin and I waited approximately 1.5 hours for my basic manicure. During the manicure the girl cut me on the cuticle to the point she drew blood. She said nothing and finished. When I had to cash out I was told it would be $16 instead of $15 as the sign stated. Not wanting to make a scene as it was my close friends bridal party I paid the girl and had to rush to my next appointment, which I was late for considering the wait time. This review would have been one star but I rated two stars because I didnt get an infection from the cut on my cuticle.

I’ve never had such horrible service. My nails were crooked, thick and the polish was uneven. Once she was finished putting my clear coat on she filed the sides again and which removed the polish. I only had a full and the time I was there I had 3 different nail technicians. WORST service.

Friendly staff that greeted me right when I walked in. They excepted walk- ins even though they were extremely busy. I only had to wait 10 minutes or less, before they started on me. Great prices and they take the time to do the job right. I got a pedicure + manicure and asked for a special design I saw on Pinterest, they excuted it no problem with just looking at the picture. I am extremely happy with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone.

They did a pretty good job, a few minor mistakes, like my skin under my nails had extra solar stuck to them. And I asked for a different color on two nails and they werent covered entirely from side to side. Little things that wouldnt of been missed if she was to pay attention to details instead of rushing thru it.

The place is dirty, service is quick. My nails didn’t last me a week. Do not recommend. 50$ down the drain.
