Only giving this place a 5 star because of John Brown and the other gentlemen that works there a couple days a week.John does an amazing job and takes his time. He does exactly what you ask for and doesn’t rush at all.I would recommend him to everyone !So don’t give up on your local barber just make sure you see the right people when you do go !😁😁😁😁😂

Good ol barbershop in the center of Keene. Nice rustic look with lots of wood. Great owner and barbers who will make you feel at home. Always a good movie playing on the big screen, magazines of all interests, and plenty of conversation. Never an issue with my haircut.

Been there twice now and both guys that have cut my hair are really cool and do a good job. Fair price for the area as well

Cut 5 inches off my beard without asking, half cut my mustache, left a lot more beard on the left side than on the right very distracted, lot of phone calls and lack of clipping would not come here or recommend anyone else and the haircut and beard trim was 35 bucks including a fat 10 dollar tip, no skills in this shop

Okay, the day I went, I left. I was not the only one. The one barber was sweating profusely, breaking out into song, and messed the customers hair up, badly.He began sweeping the floor and ended up holding a broom by its bristles.I left.Tragic, the same fellow gave me a great haircut 4 weeks ago.

Went there and lady came out and said she had to go get a drink and seemed pissed off that I wanted haircut.... She like waved her hands around in a very childlike manner and then walked all the way down main Street to find this drink so naturally I was like screw this and I went to the nice guy that has a shop by the old y because Im thinking this woman should probably do us all a favor and sell the shop to somebody who doesnt have mental problems and go check herself into the Brattleboro retreat. Shes definitely a sorry excuse of a human being. I wanted to give this zero stars but Google wont let me.

Kind of gross inside. The woman was fast but there wasnt much love or attention put into it. It was more in-n-out style. Good if youre in a rush but not if you want a high quality cut.

We came here once before and had a terrible experience. Not much has changed. The shop changed names to City barber from Franks but the reputation still precedes itself. The new owner Adam is an A-HOLE. Hes rude and extremely disrespectful.. Not to mention my husband thought he was high on something while cutting my sons hair... SKETCHY is an understatement!!!!

This is the first time attending this Barber shop. As per typical barber shops it has that old school atmosphere. However, I was somewhat disappointed in the service that was provided me.I requested that my hair be cut in a very specific way but the lady who cut my hair hardly even listened to my request, I didnt see it as an issue until after the haircut and I inspected her job and found that she had missed a couple of areas that I fixed when I got home. She did use a straight blade when shaving the back of my neck, which was a very nice touch; the result was a very clean shave.The Cost of the haircut as of 8/26/16 is about $15.00 which is reasonable for the area.Pros: Nice atmosphere, moderately friendly, Straight-blade neck shave.Cons: Did Not Complete Haircut to Request

It pains me to write this but the new owner here is single handily destroying this place.What I witnessed the other day was just terrible.. Adam is a detriment to himself but most importantly those here in this community to whom he gives services too..Extremely sad to see..I cant bring myself giving him my business ever again.

Woman who works here is a rude, nasty person. Went in at a time she didnt like and she complained and made inappropriate comments about it the entire haircut. As though she was annoyed we had come in. Although she was busy, we were so put off, my kids wont even go in there anymore.

Ill never step foot in this place as long as this Adam guy is working there. He was on another planet while he was cutting hair the other day. Totally messed up dudes hair. Hands down the worst haircut Ive ever seen! I wont be back
