First experience at The Barbery and I was more than happy with it. Haircut was perfect, chair conversation was friendly and inviting, product recommendation for styling sealed the deal. I dont typically even take the time to write reviews but this was above the bar for service so it was more than necessary. Shalem knows his stuff and I will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a good cut in the area.

Scheduled an appointment a week ago for a wedding I’m in. Got a text at 2am the day of my appointment and the wedding from Liz letting me know she’s not going to be able to be there. She later texts me to tell me that one of her coworkers can assist me. I show up, and she hasn’t asked her coworker at all and they are booked out for the day. Outstanding. Just unreal lol, I would find somewhere else with better, more professional employees.

If you are a dude with a beard this is by far the best barber shop in town. Jed, the guy who normally lines me up does a really great job and takes walk-ins. There are two other (recently added) walk-in chairs and the owner does appointments. Chill atmosphere with comic books, art and usually some decent music playing. Its seriously like a dayspa for dudes. Highly recommend.

I’ve been to 4 different barbers at the Barbery and they’ve all done really great work. Paige is my go-to at the moment. She is very detail oriented and has a great eye for style.

The Barbery is a fantastic, contemporary, barber shop that adds elements from the Hip, urban Barbershops that you might find in LA, NYC or Chicago, and delivers it to you in the quaint, friendly, welcoming way, that is the New England custom. The service is top notch, and I wont go anywhere else. Shalem does fantastic work, and makes your cut an experience that you look forward to. Make sure you make an appointment, though, as Slots fill up quickly. My Barbery Ts are now a staple in my clothing rotation! Keep up the good work!

Andy always does a wonderful job with my haircut. You have to text or walk in ahead of time to make an appointment, as they usually are booked out for a few days in advance. The location is good and the environment is typically relaxed.

Our first experience at The Barbery was awesome! Shalem worked with my 13 year old son to make sure he got just the cut he wanted and my son really enjoyed his time in the barbers chair! We will definitely be back and have been spreading the word to all of our friends too!

Hands-down the best barber in town. Im particular about my beard trims, and Shalem is a professional, an artist, a mensch! Straight razor, hot towel, pomade... you look and smell like a million bucks when hes done. A handsome tip is warranted each time.Hes usually booked a week out, so be prepared.

I’m leaving 1 Star and I’m being generous. I called this place twice for an appointment and texted 3 different numbers from the Facebook page and didn’t get a response at all. HORRIBLE customer service. I hear many good things about this place but after working harder than i should have had to on getting my first haircut and now this...best of luck to them. They also advertise as “walk ins welcome” but clearly that sign should come down because not many people have 2+ hours to wait.

This was a cool place with a friendly vibe and my haircut turned out okay. Im giving three stars because it seems they arent staffed for walk-ins even though its advertised that way and it took me about 2.5 hours to get in and out. Im sure this hasnt always been the case but it seemed like there wasnt enough staff to handle the incoming business. It looks like their popularity has probably outgrown their business and has left little room for new customers to squeeze into the schedule. I had to wait a long time as a walk-in and watched two other walk-ins (that arrived after I did) get their haircuts before me while I waited... dont know what that was about.I hear they are expanding soon and maybe this will prevent new customers like me from having a similar experience. Good haircut though.

The haircuts are great, and at a reasonable cost. But the barbery is often booked with appointments up to a month ahead and it is hard to get an appointment.

The Barbery and owner are great! Not only did Shalem make me feel welcomed and comfortable but his shop was clean and inviting! My son is 3, we have had SEVERAL epic failed attempts at getting his hair cut. Shalem was patient, gentle and fast with him. He even gave him a matchbox car for being such a good boy! The Barbery has earned my business for life!

Hands down best barber Ive ever had. But even better is the way Shalem handles children. He has given both of my sons the best haircut experiences that either of them have EVER had! A real classic experience with great barbers. A little tough to get in short notice sometimes.

I took my 5 year old to see Shalem and was so impressed. He had a perfect chair-side manner and put my son at ease. The attention to detail is prevelant- cool antique barber chairs, original artwork covering the walls, turntables and music you probably wont find anywhere else in NH, and his barber skills are on point. He even patiently showed Calvin the different trimmer sizes as he went along... The whole space is a great experience, a combination of old school barber shop charm and hip hop flare. And the owner, Shalem, is a talented, unassuming guy. So happy to have this gem nearby!

My haircut was phenomenal, Shalem knows what hes doing, and is such a fun talkative guy! His whole shop is covered with personal art with a old style barbershop theme to it.
