My family has been going to see Jessica for years! Always does a great job no matter what she is doing! Would HIGHLY recommend her!

Inexpensive haircut but a very good haircut nonetheless.The owner doesnt like people of African ethbicity. The rest of the ladies are really cool. They will give a great cut.The owner will not have a client but make the black customers wait on one of the other associates to finish to cut hair.

My boyfriend and I had asked if they can do a nail design for us and showed a picture. The lady who was taking care of us said yes and sat us down to begin. When it became time for the nail designs she was obviously rattled and ended up asking us to do something different. I admired that she tried but I wish she would’ve just told us they couldn’t do that one, but I ended up just asking for a simple color and a smiley face on the ring finger. While my boyfriend’s nails were finishing up I got acrylic with shellac. The nails were very chunky and thick as well as the shape was very square compared to what I asked and showed. We were doing matching designs and when it came time for the smiley face on my nail, after one try the guy gave up and just wiped my nail off and began to put hearts without even asking and a glitter top coat. I had felt defeated and my boyfriend and I were very disappointed with the quality of the nails and the designs. When we went up for the pricing they charged us for the heart designs I didn’t even ask for and the glitter top coat.I just wish they would’ve been honest about what nail designs they could and could not do. Their prices are okay if you’re just getting simple manicures or pedicures, but if you want acrylic nails or designs I’d recommend going elsewhere.

Beware! I went in and asked for almond shaped nails and this is what I got! I went in to have my nails done and received the worst experience. My fingers were cut and filled and when I showed them what they had done to me they offered to fix it! FIX IT! As in redo my nails! Like seriously what makes you think I am going to let you near my nails again. I asked them to do the right thing and just give me a refund and they said they dont give refunds. I called to speak to the manager and a lady yelled at me and continued to stand by the no refund policy. They dont care about the customer they only care about money because when given the chance to make it right they refused. I have taken further action because it is completely unethical to do this to customers. From the other reviews on here I can see that this is not the first time it happens. Please go somewhere else where you will be treate with the respect every human being deserves.

Communication: 3.5 ⭐️Nail Craftsmanship: 4 stars ⭐️I like to try out new places that have low or average reviews and see if the reviewers are accurate. So today’s review was Don Hair & Nail.I had a full set service acrylic with gel $60 with tip. Short and sweet Steven was good on the craftsmanship but the communication is lacking. They get a 4.5 ⭐️ Bc I really didn’t care if they communicate or not. This seems like a very community oriented salon that everyone knows which is good. I just didn’t feel the welcoming demeanor that most businesses do.

I’m 16 years old and work hard for my money daily, I went there and go my nails done on Tuesday April 20th. Six days later three nails easily popped off easily doing everyday tasks and I went to go get them fix or get refunded because obviously they weren’t glued on properly . And when I got there not only was I greeted rudely and brushed off for 20 minutes, they also proceeded to argue with me and my mom about who was sitting at the table doing my nails and what table I was at. But they also accuse me of purposely taking them off to get them redone without charge. They also called me and my mom liars .I am honestly so frustrated and irritated with Don hair and nails on N Mason Road that I will never be going there again. And I suggest you not either. Because if you have a problem with their service they will not help you or refund you any of your money ! They way the acted was not in any way professional or respectful.

Jessica has been cutting my hair for 5 years. Ask for your stylist phone number to make appointments. To the guy complaining that they didn’t open the door for you. Maybe you looked like a poor tipper lol you should have asked for an appointment for the next time.

Walks in, lady blow drying her own hair. She looks at me ... I look at her .... she looks at me some more and finally says can I help you almost mine blown I say is it possible that I can get a manicure and a pedicure while continuing to brush her hair she says maybe you wait 30 minutes I say do you open at 10 it’s 1025 she says yes sorry nobody’s here to help you I say then why do you open at 10 she says I don’t know hindsight is 2020 and you only get one chance to make a first impression this was the worst impression I have ever ever had with any nail salon anywhere ever

Always in and out quick visit. And for my 15y/o son w super thick wavey hair who chooses to wait 3+ months in-between haircuts the price is perfect! Weve been using Dons forever, and still use the S. Mason location. I recommend for a quick and cheap yet good haircut. Ive never used any of the spa services (nails, eyebrows, highlights/coloring) so I cant review those. Id like to try to get my hair highlights there one time..

This is probably the third time I’ve gone there in the morning at 9 AM and they have somebody in there but they just leave the door locked and walk in the back. If your business says open at 9AM then I would imagine that you would open at 9. If you’re gonna sit around inside and hide in the back and not open your doors until 09:30AM maybe you should change the time that you open, that way don’t have people sitting outside for no reason.I understand that things happen but when it happens three times, that just raises red flags for me.The other thing that really irks me, is there was a female worker inside and she saw me standing at the front of the door and then she went in the back and I never saw her again.

Stopped over at Don hair and nail on a recent visit to Texas. My attendant was standoffish but polite . He knew what he was doing I was satisfied. My poor sister wasn’t so lucky. The female attendant tore her feet up. She received scrapes and cuts also her feet got an infection. So be aware

Great experience. Call in advance and ask for an appointment with Patrick or Steven. Theyre the best. Patrick is my favorite as hes so nice and precise. His work is like art. Hes adorable and kind. Steven is also very good. I got here regularly for nails and would recommend the place for everyone to try.

Language barrier and not enough staff on sundays. Monday to Saturday are best days to go. Otherwise its a 40min to an hour wait time to get a chair. Oh yeah... I watched a kid grab a lollipop, goes to grab another and lady says in a rude way. Kid can only grab one. Kids are kids lady. Maybe try a nice way of saying things to customers and their families.

I used another Don Hair & Nails and they never got it right. However, this one is much better. I come about every 3 weeks for the past 6 months and they have done a great job for me every time. Standard high fade mens haircut. Maybe Ill try the other services. My wife has been wanting me to do a pedicure, I wonder...

I know this place is relatively cheap for men’s cuts, but this place is nonsense. There is only one good barber there and she is always getting pulled away to do pedicures. The other people cutting hair are horrible. I’ve given everyone here at least one chance to cut my hair and all but one has slaughtered it. Tried telling this last guy that the fade was off and he needed to fix it and he claims it was my hair not his fade. Seriously? I’ve been getting the same type of cut forever and never heard that before. Anyway he let me walk out looking like a dang fool cause he wouldn’t or couldn’t fix the hack job he did on my head. Don’t waste time or money in this place. It sucks. Now i have to go find someone to fix it.

So i went in one week ago to get dip nails. At first they looked ok but then the top coat polish started to chip off. Then 2 randomly popped off with no force or anything. I really am disappointed in their nails because i payed 35 dollars for them to just come off in a week. I need a refund.

I am not used in giving bad reviews but this place is weird enough to share my experience. Nobody welcomes you by saying a simple hello the minute you walk through the door. Staff looks snooty and avoid having even a small conversation with you. I just felt amazed and uncomfortable at the same time. 3 stars for the haircut and 1 star for customer service. Folks, there are tons of places out there which better deserve your time and money.

Wow the this new place is absolutely spotless. The nail salon chairs are beautiful, lined up in bright gold, very pretty. I liked the pricing, very reasonable for quality service. It was great right next door to Starbucks was easy to find. Count me in as a regular.

5 dollar haircut better than 20 dollar haircut. Highly recommend this place

I have given this place chances so many times hoping that the guy that cuts hair does better however he always messes up my hair and my boys hair. I finally got to meet one of the ladies and she does a good job. However recently I have been asking to wait for her and both the guy and the owner have been giving rude attitude because I want to wait for the one good hair person. The owner and staff simply don’t even acknowledge that you are there and are just awkwardly rude. Not going back ever again!

Not sure why this place gets negative reviews! It’s new, it’s clean, and they do an AMAZING job! They have a vast assortment of colors especially right now for the holidays. The young man who did my pedicure was great and they have an awesome deal which is a mani/pedi for $33 ! Highly recommend! His name is Patrick! Ten outta TEN

Don’t bother wasting your money! I went to try it out because it’s a new nail salon across from my house but turns out it was a terrible experience. Let me begin so I went for a full set shellac and I asked for coffin and this guy begins but he doesn’t understand coffin even after showing him a picture and everything by this point im frustrated so I asked nicely if he could get someone to do It if he couldn’t so he asked this lady and she tried but she didn’t know either she did oval so she called another guy and he kinda did what I wanted but it was more squared but at this point I’m done I just want to be done with my nails it shouldn’t have to take 3 people to do it and so I’m going to pay and it’s 47 but I asked why 47 well 5$ more for coffin even after they couldn’t do it so I explained to they lady it was such a bad job it wasn’t coffin and she was so rude she was just like I can’t do anything about it and I didn’t want to be rude so I just told her thank you and I wouldn’t come back

This was the most akward experience I’ve had at a nail salon. I decided to try this place out because it was my Birthday!! (so I was ready to splurge, relax an spend my money$$) The women working seemed they were too busy to even greet me. I had to initiate conversation and asked for pedicure service. I waited for a few moments until I sat in a chair and foot soak. The man who drew my foot bath had me sitting with my feet in the water for over 10 minutes before he even grabbed the proper tools for a pedicure. And every time he came to “check on me” he was on his phone! By this time the water is getting cold, he hasn’t started my pedicure, and he is looking at his phone. I asked when he, or anyone else would get started on my feet and he couldn’t give me an answer. It wasnt until I decided to leave then he suddenly was motivated to give me a pedicure. I felt if the customer service was so bad before the actual service, then it wouldn’t be worth paying for. Honestly, the nail Salon inside Walmart off of Fry rd. has better service, so I went there instead.

Please don’t get your nails done here. I asked for coffin shape and this lady messed it all up and my cut my skin with the tools for nails and it got infected. I have been so disappointed with my nails ever in my life.

Worst place ever Shelak last less than 5 days, my nails broke really using cheap stuff.... though they are pricy. They are so rude speak with each other all the time. Never talk to customers. Never do there while l’m there another customer came and complain ..... really 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Do not go to this place it is terrible!!!! Nail tech was not careful and cut two of my fingers!! I asked for a refund and they did not honor my request!! claiming it’s not their policy to do so. Bad service!!!!!

Worst place ever. They do not respect the discounts they offer, and when you go to pay they say a thousand excuses to stay at the regular price. I spent THREE AND A HALF hours for a full set and I was the ONLY person there. Do not waste your TIME and your MONEY. This was my first time there and it will be the last one!
