LI had my haircut done by Christine. Shes been cutting my hair for some time now. This was my first appointment at Lady Janes, and I really enjoyed it. I got the full service option, and Christine did a fantastic job, as usual. Ill definitely be returning, cant with for my hair to get long again.

Going here for almost a year and usually get a good job done. Last two times both stylists cut alot of the top after I specifically asked them not too. Never going back.

After reading the negative reviews on here as a local guide myself, I decided I would go give this a try myself. Amber was my stylist and they booked an appointment for me within 30 minutes of calling. Pricing is straight forward and explained clearly. I will be honest, the King Treatment is $43, but it is worth every penny. Perfect haircut, shampoo and scalp massage, shoulder massage, goatee trim, warm towel on face and neck. I literally feel like a king. Lady Jane has secured me as a customer for life. They only negative feedback I can give is that they seemed very rushed, maybe an overbooking issue? Either way, it was worth it!

Such a great experience! I had Tasha cut my hair, and trim my beard, it was by far one of the best and most cleanest cuts I have ever had, she did an amazing job. This will be my go to spot as long as I live in katy.

I scheduled an appointment with Dorothy after hearing all the rave reviews about her. I havent had a hair cut at a salon in over 20 years! Ive always cut my own hair. Well I got there (not knowing what Dorothy looked like) someone else came and said they would take care of me. This threw me off guard but I didnt ask any questions, just assume Dorothy must have been busy. Anyway, the lady who cut my hair was nice and did what I asked her to do which was just a clean up and trim. I have no complaints about her specifically but Im just puzzled a bit by the appointment booking process and why I got a different stylist than the one I requested.

ATTENTION!!! Houston/Katy Area!!!! If you have not gotten a haircut by Dorothy then you are already missing out on one of the best cuts in the city. Not only does she take her time to make sure that you are looking fresh, she will also give you some fantastic recommendations for styles! I came here just out of the blue since moving near by and honestly I don’t think I want to go anywhere else except here. Believe me if you’re taking the time to read these reviews GO ASK FOR DOROTHY! Taisha went absolutely above and beyond for my first haircut in what feels like a year. She was able to completely undo all the hair neglect the pandemic caused and it was an extremely relaxing and fun experience while doing so. I can not recommend this place enough!

I got the best cut I have had in years from Dorothy. I showed her a picture and she got it exactly right how I wanted it. The taper was perfect. Nobody can do a bald taper like this girl in all of Katy. Side note, her humor alone is worth a visit. The shop and her tools were clean and well maintained. I like this place and this stylist so much and highly suggest it. I won’t strike it down for this, but they should really consider online booking (not available with this company)

Got a high end experience at a more than reasonable price. Dorothy was my barber and she’s terrific at what she does. Excellent fade and finished off with a blade to achieve clean lines. She’s a perfectionist and clearly takes pride in the work she puts out. Splurged for the extras and miss Dorothy has magic hands that melts the stress away. I highly suggest seeing her when you go.

Great haircut at a great price. Be careful and be sure you tell them exactly what you want. They expect that you read the sign and know that every service provided is at added cost. I go in usually for only a haircut which is the minimum. Also it seems there are differences in how quick the stylists are and it shouldnt take an hour to cut my hair. Personally I recommend Dorothy for a great cut.

Dorothy is THE stylist to go to here. She uses cutting strategies I have only seen at high end places and her fades are perfection. She’s so meticulous while being charming And entertaining. Added bonus, she’s cute as a button. Every element entices me to return. This fade master has a lifelong client right here! There is conflicting levels of professional courtesy and manners here. I made a reservation for later in the day since they were busy. Two of the girls I dealt with were pleasant and accommodating. I ultimately didn’t take my husband there. The girl who come to find out is the manager wasn’t wearing her mask properly and speaks angrily and I am not comfortable spending money in a place that is ran with sloppy rules and bad attitude,

By far the best haircut I’ve received in years. Dorothy has unparalleled fade skills, is very knowledgeable about how to give you the look you want, and excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back regularly. Highly recommend the mint conditioner scalp massage.

I have been going here for a while and recently had to switch over to that mechanics haircut place, which i rarely had a good experience at other than of course the free beverages. Came back to my favorite today. 30-minute drive but well worth it for the awesome cut Dorothy does!

The first time my boyfriend came here his haircut looked amazing. I loved it so much because the lady listened to what I wanted and cut it perfectly. I am leaving 1 star because the second time I went the lady had no idea how to cut his hair she messed it up he hated it. We had to go somewhere else to get it fixed for the holidays. The lady was not licensed at all.

Wasa little apprehensive when first checking this place out due to some of the other reviews about the stylists, but ended up getting one of the best cuts Ive had from Dorothy. Did exactly what I asked for, was professional and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. Scalp massage was amazing!

I just called to ask for information. It makes no sense to only have a barber working on the weekends only. The girl that answered was not knowledgeable, and hard to understand. But she did ask an employee for an answer which was good. I was asking info about a straight edge bear trim. Then her answer was depending on who you go with depends on the price. REALLY!!!!! It should be the same price no matter which employee works on you. I was willing to drive 20 miles to go try this place. My friends gave very mixed reviews. If the service was bad over the phone I could imagine how the service is in person.

Say in the chair for 2 1/2 hours to get a bald fade and my beard trimmed. Beard looks fine. Fade on the other hand looks like a 7 layer dip. No blending at all. Not capable of a nice fade.

Update: i went back and tried this place out again and had a completely better experience! Thank you lady Janes and I’m sorry it took so long for me to let you redeem yourselves!went there to get a haircut and asked for a 1 to 2 fade. When she hit around to the front I noticed that the bottom part was bald. When I mentioned this, she finally told me that she accidentally used a 0 and had to fade it up so that it matches. Not much I could do there, so I sat there for over 45 minutes listening to her conspiracy theories while this was going on. She tried to talk me into fading the back down instead of squared, I said no thanks and didn’t understand why she was pushing so hard, till I got a closer look and there was nothing to square!!!I was told there would be a big discount. So when it was all said and done, my hair looked horrible and there was only a $5 discount, and she had the audacity to ask for a tip!! Being a Christian man, I did give her $3, which was undeserved. Though I understand things happen, there is absolutely no reason to not double check your guards. And now I have to live with this. Unfortunately my hair grows slow! Wish I could have given this 0 stars cause I absolutely had a horrible experience.I for one, will never be returning to this establishment.

Im going to be honest, I didnt even go there. I called up on a Saturday and was told I couldnt make an appointment and that it was at least an hour to an hour and a half wait. I was told the reason was because there were only two people ther cutting hair. I heard about this place on the radio quite a few times. How in the hell are you going to advertise like crazy on the radio and then only have two people cutting hair on the busiest day of the week? Thats just bad business.

Ive been here several times. And Ive gotten great haircuts and shampoo all around $20. I even got my beard trimmed with cut and shampoo for around 30 one time. Today I go in and got haircut and shampoo and they charged me $43!!! Are you kidding me! How can they double the price with out advertising this.

Took my son and specifically asked if they can do a simple hard part haircut zero blend and edged up, I even showed her a picture and she said yes. I might as well have let my son cut and blend his own hair. It was probably one of the worst haircuts I have ever seen. Lucky one of the managers was able to fix it, some what! but I wouldnt count on her fixing yours because shes only visiting. She was great though and thank you. I will never return to this place and DO NOT recommend it!

Im giving a 2 instead of a 1 because I do have difficult hair to cut and if you want a cheap haircut with decent women to look at (what I think they are marketing) it was at least that. That being said, Ive been to plenty of places that can handle a simple 1 fade on the sides, trim the top request. That was not the case here. I had to ask her to fix it multiple times and when that happened she would make comments like Im giving you like 5 haircuts instead of just fixing it the way I like it to make me, the customer, happy. My hair is way shorter than I wanted it because you cant add hair to fix a bad cut, you just go shorter. I still have to go get this fixed. I wish I remembered her name so maybe you could try it if youre curious and just avoid her. Bad enough experience I wont go back and even try a different stylist.
