I found this place searching the web by seeing the 4.9 rating and was also recommended by a friend so I had to try it. When you first walk in the atmosphere at this location feels like a home away from home. It feels like you’re family by how you’re greeted when you walk in and how the barbers start a conversation with you like you’ve known them for years. This is a prime example of a quality barber location that lives up to its name and ratings. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming on a regular to this shop.

I stumbled on this gem while searching for a place to get a haircut. As a female I’m quite weary about barber shops. All I knew at the time was that it was less than a mile away and it was highly recommended but I didn’t even have the time to read any review. So after my haircut this is what I think- The ambiance is great! Mr Otis is just a breathe of fresh air- funny, engaging. Lomax gave me a haircut and he enjoys his craft and is great at it. Did I mention the music? It almost felt like I was hanging out with family that I actually liked, at a place I enjoyed being. Finally a family-friendly barber shop in the area. Ive gotten better hair cuts at barber schools and salons. Went in for a simple comb over and even though I repeated comb over several times, I ended up with a buzzcut. Through out the whole cut the barber kept asking me how I wanted it. Again, I repeated a combo over. I even explained to him how its supposed to be long on one side then gradually shorten until it reaches the other side. He continued to essentially ask for directions on how a comb over is cut. All this happening while the owner overheard and did nothing until it was too late and ended up taking over my cut. Overall this is probably one of the worst haircuts Ive ever received. On top of that I was also charged FULL PRICE for the wrong hair cut. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless youre going with the older gentleman or just want a quick fade where the barber doesnt have to use shears.

My husband and I are from out of town and my husband was in need of a barber since we haven’t been home in a while. I did a little research and found Otis.. I have never had such a nicer guy answer that phone. He answered my questions and welcomed us into his business. We set up my husbands appointment since he’s having an important business meeting and he came out looking amazing. Otis, thank you 🙏🏼. We are very happy with your professionalism and just the comfort of your personality. The comfort level is just the way a barber shop should be. We’ve had some horrible experiences in other areas where he comes home and is just disappointed with his fade but in your shop it was different. Thank you so much Otis for such a great job.

...I was very pleased when I took my son in today to get his hair cut for his school pictures. We are new in the area and trying out a new barber is ALWAYS a stressful thing. I came in with hesitations but left ready to make my next appointment. I love the “relaxing, backyard, sitting around talking sh*t” atmosphere. It is a hidden gem. Went there for the first time on Friday (3-12-21). When I got in, I was asked to wear a mask upon entry, even though the the person who asked me to wear the mask was not wearing a mask! I thought to myself, this will not be good. It made zero sense to me, but I obliged as I figured it was worth a try.Fortunately, I was wrong! The ambiance is nice, they are clean, funny, and professional! My Barber was Elliot, and he did an awesome job, especially if you consider it was his first time cutting my hair.I also saw how the other Barbers did, and I honeslty do not think you can go wrong in there. I would easily recommend this spot to anyone who wnats a good cut jsut remember to have your mask on when you get in, lol.

I found this barber shop on Google a few weeks back, and ever since, I havent gone back to my old barber. Otis always gives me a very crisp edge up and a nice fade. Sometimes, taking a chance works out well.

I didnt personally use their services but my husband did. Just wow. So he asked for a comb over with a 1 all around due to psoriasis... the barber cut the top too short and basically gave him whatever he thought that was. If you dont know ask someone else. The main dude watched him mess up the cut too and waited till my husband looked over in exasperation. Still got charged the full fee even though he didnt get the cut he wanted and what my husband hasnt seen is the back... lol it isnt lined up. Far from a clean cut. Look if you dont know what the cut is just say that and let the customer go elsewhere. If I could give you negative or 0 stars I would. I do not recommend this place. A barber school or even me an inexperienced person with clippers could have done better.

Okay so I found this place online and they had some good reviews. I showed up randomly (walk in) and was immediately greeted by two gentleman. I was offered water or a soda, and I sat down for my cut. LET ME SAY..... THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!! We talked sports, tv, current events and best of all they absolutely gave my a perfect hair and beard cut. I would highly recommend this barbershop to anyone.

I came here from a Google search. I’ve been up and down mason, but never seen this place. It’s tucked away on a side street. Reggie gave me a great fade, very clean. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star is the top was a little short, but the cut was well worth it. They don’t rush you and take their time.

Had A young and talented Barber named Glen at this location. Very comedic and funny group of professional Barbers. I came here as a walk in after leaving my car at the Toyota down the street and received phenomenal service. As soon as I walked it they had great customer service, offered cold water, and did not keep me waiting at all! Highly recommend, great with fades and all facets of hair styling.

I have been looking for a barber for a while for my son and tried a few, ending with little to no satisfaction. My husband found this shop through a search on Google.Finally... success!  Thankfully, they accept walk-ins.  Glen cut my boys hair and he did a wonderful job.  While my entire family waited, we were offered water and engaged in good conversation as a nice selection of music played. Called yesterday for some details on a cut I wanted. Phone was answered quickly and the gentleman was very polite and honest about the service he could provide. Handed me over to his partner who said he could do what I was looking for. I was able to be accommodated quickly. Got there this morning for my appointment and Mitch was ready and waiting. Extremely friendly, laid back and professional environment. Willing to listen to what you had in mind. I gave him the go ahead for a freestyle design in my undercut. Turned out amazing! Very clean lines. Great price and way above average quality service.

Yes, I was going to chop it all off, but I still want it to look good. And I was looking for a guy hair cut. My husband recommended this place via Google after he saw the ratings and read the comments. We decided to go for it, and thankfully was not disappointed. My barber was Otis. We told him what I was generally looking for, and he did a fantastic job. He even tried to style it a little to keep it feminine for me. I absolutely love my new hair cut. I think I will keep it short for now, but I was glad to know that for future reference, they do hair for women there too.

We were looking for a full service barber shop for my father, who can no longer shave on his own. Otis was great on the phone and said he would take care of us. Mitch was available when we arrived and took Dad right over. He gave him a great cut and close shave (even though I opted against a straight razor shave - I wasnt sure how Dad was going to react to a professional shave). My barber retired and I went to one while I was traveling and it did not turn out well. I found this shop on google and decided to try it. My style is old school and I like a good taper/fade. Got the best haircut in my life! Mitch asked me how I wanted it cut and I said “just do what you think it’s going to look good.” I’ve been getting lots of complements about the haircut! They are locally owned and there is nothing phony about them. They are the real deal, not like franchised haircut shops whose hair stylists are not even barbers and make money by churning through customers.

Our first time out to these guys and thy did a great job! All of the barbers were friendly and nice and offered us water or if they could do anything for us while we waited. Otis is the BEST barber I have even been to. I was definitely reluctant to come because of the cost of a kids cut, but it is definitely worth every penny. The environment is very comfortable and my sons cut is always phenomenal. I would definitely reccomend making him your new barber.

I made an appointment for my husband on Saturday. We showed up a few minutes early and got seated right away. The atmosphere was clean, and comfortable, we were offered bottled water, there was a nice mix of good music, the barbers were friendly, and most of all my husband was very happy with his cut.
