Be aware when looking at this place to live. When we first moved in June of 2021 our unit wasn’t clean. It smelled like pee and you could easily tell that the last people that lived here had a dog as there was dog hair and again a strong odor of pee. There were plenty of damaged items that should of been taken care of before we moved in. Due to the fact that the maintenance team was behind it took multiple weeks before they were able to come out and address these issues. Then came the pest. We had a ant issue, then a mice issue then bed bugs. We have never had bed bugs in our life. When taking these issues to the staff that’s when problems really started. The staff here is very unprofessional and really lack empathy when you are dealing with issues in your unit. Specifically Paula Basham and Annamarie Cicero have been nothing but a hassle to deal with. They are very rude and when we came to them with our issue they made us seem like a burden for asking to have these issues taken care of. After multiple attempts with the bed bug spray treatment we continued to have bed bugs. Based on the pest control service provider blue beetle the heat treatment for bed bugs is the recommended treatment, but when we asked elevate property management to do the heat treatment they advised they wouldn’t pay for it. They said they would only cover the less effective spray treatment and we would have to pay the difference in cost. When asked why we would have to cover the heat treatment in cost they just said they don’t and wouldn’t provide an exact reason why not. Instead of giving us a explanation of why it wasn’t covered Ms. Basham responded with “I will not continue to discuss this matter with you” leaving me with no straight answer. Also when I would call and email I would sometimes have to wait days and follow up just to get a response.I understand the pest are things that can be out of the property management control. However, having empathy and working best with the tenants to resolve these issues would go a long way. The last thing you want when experiencing issues is the office staff to to be lest than helpful.
My husband and I just moved here about two weeks ago and we both are really happy. I was worried about noise being an issue because we were living in a house with barely any, but its actually super quiet. Maybe it depends what unit you get, but I cant hear our neighbors at all. I think overall the price you pay for rent, matches what you get. I really like it so far and would recommend.
Good luck getting them out to make any repairs, stuff that was supposed to be done before we moved in is still not fixed almost 3 months later, you would think with how expensive this place is they would treat their tenants better and their issues with more urgency. No one answers the emergency line and when they finally did return my call and we had a time set up for them to come out they no call no showed twice. Every appliance and repair is as cheap as possible as well. This places management and maintenance team is a joke for the prices they charge. Its great when the maintenance team lies to your face about the HVAC and plumbing problems you have when you do HVAC and plumbing for a living.
Ashley, the maintenance woman came in and fixed everything in our townhouse that was not working. SHE is an awesome person and this property is blessed to have her working for them. She was very professional and timely in her work ethic.
Beautiful townhouses that are kept up to date! Contacting main office and maintenance is easy and convenient. Our maintenance man, Mitch, is super helpful and always goes the extra step to make sure your house is well taken care of! Love living here.
Elijah was awesome. Shower flooding over and not shutting off. Almost 10pm and Elijah was in and out with a quick and total fix. Respectful and did his job well.
The townhome is massive and beautiful, happy I decided to live here. Mitch, the maintenance person has been great! My requests are always done quickly and Mitch goes above and beyond to explain what is done and to make sure everything was fixed as expected. Would definitely recommend living here.
Everything breaks... multiple times. Our dishwasher was leaking for over a month before we got a new one. Our upstairs toilet has broke and been unuseable 4 times now. Our dryer has been looked at twice and it still takes it 2 or 3 times to dry the clothes. Our shower wouldnt turn off one day so we had to turn our water off until someone came and fixed it. Parking is terrible especially if you have more than 2 cars. And there are no guest spots except on the road which is usually full 24/7. Lawncare is minimal and we had tall weeds for months before anyone did anything. Doggy bag stations are constantly empty and some of them are broken. Currently waiting for a hot water heater to be replaced as of today. Walls are very thin so if you have loud neighbors who blast music you can hear every single word. Also our bathroom has carpet in it.... not sure why youd ever want carpet in a bathroom with a shower and sinks...
The maintenance staff is the best!!!! Always helpful, always going above and beyond. Thank you Mitch and Elijah. :)
My company has been working as a vendor for Bennington for a little over 2 years now. They are great! The office staff is friendly and they take a lot of pride in making sure their community is in top shape! We appreciate your business.
This complex is awesome. Weve only been here almost a week but so far no complaints at all. Our unit is beautiful and massive. The layout of the design I guarantee you wont find anywhere else in the kc metro area for the price. The leasing office took a little bit of effort to fully get a hold of but at the same time I get it. Its tax season & everybody is moving so theyre beyond busy plus they run two complexs and are in and out of offices. We havent had any issues mechanically, everything works as it should, the neighborhood is really nice and clean, my kids love it. Its a win 👍🏻 press that appy button, you wont regret it.
Id like to start by saying that no two experiences can be the same... But I have enjoyed my time here at Bennington Park Town Homes. Ive lived here for just over a year and yes their policies are strict, but thats just so people dont cause havoc coming and going without recourse. If you need to break your lease... Its a 3 month notice and rent required to make it happen. Thats was the only harsh part to the lease agreement. The view from the 3 bedroom units are great and over all Ive had no issues being here. The kids park could be more exciting and there are a TON of cars here at night. Parking for more than 2 cars can be hard.Great place and kind staff. You get out of this place what you out into it. Its been fun.
My family and I just moved in two weeks ago. We are delighted with the Staff, Grounds, Neighborhood. Our unit was perfect on move-in day. The access to the 120 acres of Hidden Valley Park (a 2 min walk from our front door) is a blessing for our two large dogs. Sidewalks throughout the whole property. Amenities are as advertised. Maintenance Dept is superior. Coral and Ryan are very amiable, professional, and supportive. The garage is much bigger than we need. Neighbors are very good about respecting each others space (driveway, patio, front entryway). The units are very energy efficient (good windows, doors, walls well insulated, large gas heat/air exchange, large A/C compressor, large capacity gas water heater, firewalls between units...cant hear my neighbors). This is the first time in almost 30 yrs of renting, that I had no regrets after moving in.
The guys that work here in the maintenance group are awesome!! My outdoor light was having problems and needed it fixed recently, I put in the request and they were here the same day!! They did a great job. Thanks!!
Ive spent the last year living at Bennington Townhomes and have enjoyed everyday here! The staff are very prompt and timely in answering emails and phone calls for service repairs and questions regarding the lease. Ive also felt very safe in this neighborhood as they do a great job with hiring a security patrol at night. Great for kids and young families looking for ease of living. This neighborhood is nice and quiet at night which is a plus as it accesses one of the main Kansas City highways just a half a mile away. The amenities are also a great plus with a pool for those hot summer days and a 24 hour access exercise room which I enjoyed during the snowy months.Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a town home in the north!
The ladies in the office seem nice but the manager will trick you. The condition of he homes are moderate, the decks are not treated wood, are rotting, and won’t be replaced, we had a huge hole in our deck the day we moved in, we now have another. The decks are splitting apart, all the decks in our building are splitting apart. Our drier leaves marks on my white clothes. Most of all: they knew we were leaving at the end of our lease, even brought us the paper that explained rent if we renewed month to month. But they knew were leaving. I asked when we were applying, when we got the keys, and early on after we moved in what we needed to do to move out and no one said to give notice at the end of our lease. I was the dumb one to think I could trust you but we will be paying both rents of this place and our new place for November. And after the first time of being late on rent they charge you 10% of your monthly rent and $25 (FOR A PIECE OF PAPER) the letter they put on your door is your rent is late. Our place was “completely redone” because of the guy who was there before but it looked like the guys who did it rushed. Honestly it’s not worth the trouble and the parking is horrible, everyone is on the street at night
This definitely isnt luxurious. When you ask for a tour of the home, the show you a model home, not the one youll be occupying. My dishwasher was rusted when I moved in and its now more so. Maintenance LET THEMSELVES IN if you dont answer after the second knock! I was upstairs watching a movie with my daughter and heard someone downstairs. That master key they have should only be used for unoccupied homes. This is MY home, the only people that should be able to open that door is my husband and I. I feel so unsafe and its happened twice! Parking is ridiculous. I jog around the complex with my 2 year old and run through clouds of weed smoke. If I would have known all of this I wouldnt have chose to live here. Rent shouldnt be what it is for what we get.
I have been a resident of this community for 6 1/2 years. I have enjoyed my stay here but, it is no longer the luxury complex that I experienced during my early residency. When I moved in the staff was exceptional and the grounds were well maintained. There are dead roses bushes thoroughout the complex that need to be pulled and the flower beds went without mulch this summer. I trimmed the hedges along my walkway, because the lawn service failed to do so. I had a bad experience with maintenance recently that has caused me seriously consider whether or I should renew my lease in the future.
So Ive have contacted management about the severe marijuana smoke that overwhelms our townhouse 3 to 4 days a week. Ive called. My neighbor has called, and was told it would be reported to the manager and taken care of. I never would have moved here if I would have known I wouldnt be able to have company because the smell is so overpowering. I guess as long as the rent is paid management doesnt care. Do yourself a favor and dont make the same mistake I did. I definitely would not recommend this place
This is my second year living at Bennington Park Townhomes and I have no complaints. Ive read some of the other reviews here and I am not sure what to say except that I havent had any problems yet. Jessica and Cassandra are great to work with. Theyve accommodated all of my requests and worked with me when I needed help. My roommate put in a work order request and the maintenance guys came about 30 minutes later. I would definitely recommend living here and suggest that you come see it for yourself.
Horrible property management team here. My dog was bitten by our neighbors dog and completely ripped open had to rush to the emergency vet to get stapled shut. When we tried to talk to management about the situation and feeling unsafe for my dog and small children to be outside with a violent dog living next door they did not care at all and have still not heard back from management on the situation! They said we are still in our lease and can not move without 60 days notice so now my options are move and pay double rent or hope that dog who is terrified to be outside now or worse my 6 year old daughter is not bitten while playing outside. Avoid this place at all costs they only care about squeezing every dollar out of you and could care less about the well being or safety of their tenants!
When we came in to pick up our keys and unload a few things, we noticed the thermostat was not accurately displaying the temperature inside our unit. At 4pm I walked into the office, and Mark (I believe) immediately came over to assess the situation. While he was there, we pointed out another issue, which he immediately fixed. He had the thermostat installed by the next day when we arrived. Our experience thus far has been exceptional with our new home! Thanks for the awesome service!
5/22/19 UPDATE!!!! After an entire month waiting, maintenance came and did... NOTHING!!!!! My ice maker still does not work and leaves puddles of water on the floor, and the washer rubber seals have not been replaced. The very concerned corporate reply to my initial review was never followed by any type of action. What do I need to do to get maintenance items actually taken care of?-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Front desk personnel is friendly enough, but the unit was not as clean as it could have been, and I have a maintenance request unaddressed for well over a week. My ice maker does not work, and my washer has the most disgusting 3 inch-wide black crust on the rubber and 2 inch brown circle on the door that emanate an incredibly foul odor. In addition, soap circles and sinks that back up.I would hope that these items would have been checked and fixed/corrected before I moved in.The unit inside is tastefully decorated.
I placed the work order for a broken AC at 2pm, by the time I got home at 4.30pm they had provided us with a portable AC to help out. By lunchtime next day all was fixed. Excellent job.
We have been staying here for 1.5 years with 4 managers. We have a host of maintenance issues that have gone unaddressed or have been unreasonably delayed. The management is condescending, inconsistent, and unprofessional. We have been robbed of the luxury living experience that we pay for. The only thing they do without fail is collect rent and bill. I am in the process of gathering other residents with similar experiences to hold them accountable. I am in contact with two past managers who have offered insight on the inner workings of this establishment. Just know that in order for someone to take the extent of going public there has been a major inconvenience and they wouldn’t wish their experience on any potential renter. Not to mention most people don’t even take the time. A complaint with the BBB and State Attorney General has been made and plans are in place to insure the lease expectations are upheld by both parties.
The comments about management are not misleading. They are rude, negligent and very impersonal in regards to managing the community.I lived here for six months, and during that time I had to place an order of protection against the girl who was living with me there. She was deemed dangerous to my health and personal well-being after duplicating our key and allowing several people in our apartment robbed me and then threatened my life and well-being if I were to take legal action. I submitted a court order to Lana, their office manager, letting them know about the the order of protection so that I could get the locks changed (the lease states that you may not change the locks yourself). They refused. They actually refused knowing fully the situation at hand and having certified letters from my legal counsel and the Clay County. Lana directed me to a man named Sam, who manages the corporate side of things. After literally begging him to change the locks for my safety, he told me that Legally, they really didnt have to do anything. It was more my personal problem. And literally HUNG UP on me.In the days following, my previous roommate violated the order of protection, came into my home (because she had keys and several duplicates), and stole a wealth of computer/internet software worth several hundred dollars and even some things that were sentimental to me.They STILL refused to change the locks. And then even threatened legal action against me if I were to change or alter them myself, or if I were to terminate the contract early. It took me writing several reviews and posting on social media forums about the problem for another corporate manager to call and formally apologize for this Sam character acting absurdly. However, his apology was followed directly with a request for me to delete my reviews and social media posts because they didnt want the company to have the sort of reputation. After waiting nearly TWO months to receive only part of my deposit (who knows why I didnt get it all back), I am writing this review... I was worried if I posted prior to receiving my deposit, they wouldnt return it. Thats how untrustworthy this management staff is.Management is, in fact, rude and unhelpful. The place itself is decent. Overpriced, but not too shabby. I suppose its up to you if you want to sacrifice your safety and well-being to live in a semi-nice home.
We have only been here a few weeks, so far, Id say its okay. Seems quiet. The townhome was nice and clean when we moved in. I dont care for the super thin one car garage. UPDATE: DO NOT MOVE HERE! Keep you $1200 + dollars in rent. We are being charged for utilities and we have not lived in the apartments for two months! Ridiculous. The funny part is I do not owe utilities to the actual utility companies since I paid them in full and the accounts have been closed. This is money the apartment people came up with on their own. Im not the one in the apartment using the utilities, running the utilities... SO there is no reason why Im being charged. Ill be glad when Im done with these people!
Let me start by saying I consider myself a reasonable woman who understands that housing is expensive and that people sometimes try to do everything in their power to accommodate customers/residents . However, Bennington ended up EFFING .US . We did everything in our power to clean the carpet and they ended up charging us 1500 just to replace the carpet, which I did not in my opinion think really NEEDED changing . Its all about that money though, right? Then, on top of that, this complex has NO way of removing trash in any other capacity than two measly bags once a week . So we thought hey, lets leave some garbage very neat and tidy in the garage . We figured they would use our $500 deposit (which is already ridiculous) to get rid of it since weve seen other houses do the same thing . I mean, I had two weeks to move 14 HOURS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, what else was I to do? We were both working! So, even after they took away the pool, the gym, and screwed us on maintenance for over a year, they decided to twist us for 2000 more dollars, on top of the 3000+ they forced us to pay to stop living there when we couldnt even control that . They are greedy . They do not care . They are the most expensive MISTAKE we have ever made and the memory of this place still stings now .Do not move here unless you want to risk all this .
I had a great experience for the first 5 years, then manager changed & everything went down hill, break- ins & possible drug activity in the neighborhood. Ryan left with his assistant Cora, so hopefully things will get better & the old manager is back. Thank God! Maintenance is also extremely helpful.
I have had numerous issues with this place since I moved in. It took more than month to get a mailbox key, our washer and dryer have broke more than once, and the gym has been closed the entire time I’ve lived here. Recently there was an issue with my bank, and rather than notify me immediately, they waited to let me know until I was charged with the late fee. Glad you all got your money though 👌
Moved in 1 month ago and so far I love it. I had a few maintenance issues that needed to be taken care of and as soon as I made notice of them the maintenance guy came about an hour or so later and fixed them.Update: Been here for 7 months going on 8 months and Ive been without a washer machine for almost 2 weeks. I was told that Id have a new washer within 5 to 7 business days yet its almost 14 days. Not only that but when I called the office about the issue last week, I was told theyd call me and give me a follow up about my new washer and they never did. I have also put in other maintenance issues (around Christmas Eve) that still need to be fixed and they havent been fixed yet either and here it is January 20th (almost February). This is ridiculous! Luxurious townhomes? Where?!?!?
Stole our money. We were told about a deal that we would get first 2 months free if we signed a 15 month lease, so we filled out the application and paid $380 deposit and application fee. When they called to tell us that we got approved they told us that the deal wasnt going on anymore. We decided we didnt want to live there since they went back on their word. We asked for our deposit back and they said that since we got approved there is nothing they can do about giving us our money back. So we lost $380 for no reason.
We moved here 2 years ago. We never had a problem with management. parking is a little tight other than that we have been happy
The new management and crew is great. I hope they stick around! Very responsive to residents requests!
In the 5 months we have lived here we have had issues with the neighbors pot smoke coming into our home, been told that the fact there is no insulation around our basement window is our problem not theirs, had a dog break its collar attack our dog (it still lives in the complex), and had our garage door break and pieces fell into our garage. So in short - not worth $500/month let alone the $1,300 they charge. The only good thing about this complex is the maintenance man BJ.
Just moved in last week and Im very disappointed with the management staff. They are only concerned about saving money. They force you to share amenities that you pay for at the townhomes with the apartment complex next door who Pay less.
I didnt request maintenance, yet they did a work order on something that wasnt broken
The management changed and everything went bad.I do not recommend this area.Tiffany and her crew was good but new guys are really rude, they dont even listen.Houses still have roach problems.
Service have improve major Thanks for the good job keep up the good work
B J. Is wonderful to have around, and he is always ahaed of what we need. We are so happy with him,he is almost family, because he always have what we need.He really should be the boss.
BJ does an amazing job. When ever we need anything done he there to fix it fast. The office staff on the other hand is dry lack luster and never around.
These townhouses are BEAUTIFUL! And the staff is amazing! Cassandra is the best!!
Update (5/2019): Weve lived here for about three years now. Property has gone downhill in general. Weeds everywhere and the grass needs to be cut. The biggest problem is maintenance. We have several maintenance issues that haven’t been fixed. They ordered a replacement sink fixture and then installed it in the wrong townhome. Very little communication regarding these issues. I wouldn’t recommend the property nowadays.Original post: We have lived here for over a year now. Overall, its a great place. Weve never had any problems really and neighbors are fine. Our townhome is in good shape and everything works appropriately. Ive always felt safe in the neighborhood and to my knowledge there arent really crime problems. However, something needs to be done about the parking along the road leading to the townhomes. The people living in the nearby Bennington apartments park on BOTH sides of this road. Its a hazard to people driving. Only one car can safely fit through the tiny path left because of the parked cars and some people speed through, not caring about anyone else on the road. I have seen the aftermath of a parked car being hit because of this issue (and it wasnt cleaned up for days). Parking needs to be limited to ONE side of the street. Especially because no one even needs to park on the street, the parking spaces next to the apartments are always open!Secondly, maintenance recently changed. BJ was the best -- prompt, friendly, professional. Long story short, our most recent dealing with maintenance was disappointing compared to BJs service. It took several attempts and several days to have our air duct fixed, which would have leaked carbon monoxide if we had been using heat. Lack of communication was the main problem with this encounter.
I enjoy living here, just hope that the rates dont increase as dramatically in the future.
I like the ladies in the office very pleasant but as far as communication its terrible Ive been asking since day one to have my vents clean and washer clean thats something that is supposed to be cleaned before you move in my washer stinks from the rubber inside I have bought different things to make my clothes smell better but hasnt really worked Ive kept an account of everytime Ive talked to them and all Ive gotten is the run around so I will be reaching out to the better business bureau I think that its unfair to pay such high rent and not have the townhouse properly cleaned and to keep lying and saying they are going to address it and dont and its been 6 months SMH they need to do better
This is in a great location with easy access to the highways but also nice trees surrounding the property. Love that there is a park close. The 2 bedrooms are so big and spacious, they are more like two master bedrooms, it is so nice to have a walkout basement and washer and dryer included with the property. I think the property is one of the best I looked at. BJ with Maintenance is amazing, he so friendly and helpful. I have only had to log a ticket once for my smoke alarms and he promptly came down and took care of it. Lana the property manager is so great to work with and very friendly. Also they offer a great Cerner discount to Cerner employees. I highly recommend these townhomes as a great place to live.
Update II: I have spoken to Elevate Living about the situation and they have taken steps to rectify the poor customer service and management failures that have caused my family, as well as many others, so much distress. As I suspected, the line I was being fed about their corporate office being to blame for this particular property’s misgivings, was not 100% true. I will provide another update once my dealings with them are fully concluded. I have learned to only take what the staff has had to say at face value. I’ve been very upfront with them and held up my end of bargain, so we will see how they decide to conduct themselves once my move out paperwork has been processed. The new manager seems to have good intentions and wants to rebuild this property to its former glory. I wish her every success imaginable, because I know she has her work cut out for her.Update: My townhouse was robbed repeatedly in broad daylight while we were on vacation! We foolishly decided to renew our lease and it could have cost us our lives. They still have not fully fixed the point of entry and the robbery occurred 3 months ago. It was awful to come home to everything we’ve worked so hard for taken from us (including my SUV that was stolen out of the garage) but I thank God my family was not physically harmed. DO NOT rent here if you have children. All they care about is money and I can’t believe how we’ve been treated while paying well over $1k per month to live here. They will violate the law and do everything in their power to con residents out of their hard earned money, all to better their bottom line.Used to love living here now we wish we could leave. They got rid of the best maintenance man Ive ever seen. The new staff takes too long to address maintenance issues. They took 3 days to look at my balcony door that wouldnt lock which was a big security risk. With no warning or notification, they got rid of our on site gym and relocated it to an apartment complex down the street so I can no longer walk to the gym. The cardio room doesnt have AC or TVs to watch. The apartment complex has a 24 hour clubhouse meanwhile ours is always locked and never gets used. They also have a hot tub and we dont. Funny how they pay less money and have all of the amenities we lack. The pool was closed by the health department and that was super inconvenient. My neighbors moved because someone fired a gun and the bullet traveled into their bedroom window! Our car was broken into and last night 4 cars were broken into on our street. They disabled the locks and stole everything. Where was our so called security patrol when this was happening? We were recently locked out with a 10 month old baby and maintenance refused to let us into our home. They made us call a locksmith and that cost us $125 for something they could have easily done. I doubt we will be reimbursed. They never have resident eventd. We are paying too much money and being treated worse than you can imagine.
Love the townhomes! Amazing staff as well!!
Initially, when I called the lady in the front office acted as if I was bothering her by asking simple questions related to the property but, I tried to look passed that and went to view the property anyway. We eventally decided against it because the lady in the front office was once again very rude and unprofessional. We had an appointment scheduled and upon our arrival the door to the clubhouse was locked. We called and then she proceeds to come to the door to open it. She opens the door and doesnt say hello, no smile, nothing. She then sits down and then after a couple minutes says well how are you all. We say fine, then ask her how she is doing and she says oh im just trying to wake up. Secondly, she was dressed very unprofessionally with a reggae t-shirt and cut-off shorts with flip flops. So, maybe Im just old school but, dont wear that to work and have some basic customer service skills by greeting potential renters when they arrive. She then shows us an apartment then we ask about the gym and pool once we are back in the clubhouse and that we were interested in seeing that. She then just points to a door and goes oh yea its through there. Once again we were potential renters to the property so, in my opinion you should have good customer service skills and be basically selling this property to us. Horrible! I wouldnt think twice about living here simply based on having no desire to have a working relationship or trust in front office staff that is already rude and we dont even live there yet.
So far my experience has been awesome! Just leased from them. Very friendly staff!
BEWARE!!! EXTREMELY UNETHICAL BUSSINESS THESE PEOPLE ARE RUNNING! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT GROUP. WE SIGNED OUR LEASE WITH A DIFFERENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT GROUP A COUPLE MONTHS BEFORE ELEVATE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TOOK OVER AND EVERYTHING SEEMED TO GO BAD FROM THERE. THEY ARE EXTREMELY SHADY, RUDE, AND MONEY HUNGRY. SO MANY OF MY NEIGHBORS THAT HAVE LIVED HERE FOR YEARS SAID THEY WILL BE LEAVING AS SOON AS THERE LEASE IS UP. I’VE HAD MANY ISSUES WITH THEM IN THE 1 YEAR I LIVED HERE. FIRSTLY CHARGING ME A WRONGFUL LATE FEE OF 70 DOLLARS AND AFTER PLEADING WITH THEM TO WAIVE/REMOVE IT THEY WOULD NOT. FROM COOPORATE, TO THEIR REGIONAL MANAGER, ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE MANAGER ON SITE, THEY ARE ALL VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESIONAL. ITS PRETTY SAD WHEN EVEN THE MAINTENIECE PEOPLE THAT ARE HIRED BY THEM DONT HAVE GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THEM. THIS SUMMER THE POOL WAS CLOSED DOWN PRACTICALLY THE ENTIRE TIME AND IF IT WAS OPEN IT LOOKED GREEN. IT WAS CLOSED DOWN BY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR AWHILE AND EVERY WEEK THEY HAD A NEW EXCUSE OF WHY IT WASNT OPEN BACK UP YET. A LOT OF TENANTS WERE REALLY UPSET SEEING AS THEY PICKED THIS PLACE EVEN THOUGH IT MAY HAVE BEEN MORE EXPENSIVE THAN AN ALTERNATIVE RENTAL FOR THE POOL ITSELF AND THEY DIDNT OFFER ANY MONEY OFF OUR RENT . THIS BRINGS ME TO MY NEXT POINT THEY ARE EXTREMELY OVER PRICED!!! THE NEIGHBORHOOD ITSELF MAY LOOK NICE BUT GO A FEW BLOCKS UP AND YOU ARE IN THE GHETTO. THEY STOPPED WATERING OUR GRASS IN THE SUMMER TIME AND THE GRASS STARTED LOOKING DEAD. THE PARKING SITUATION IS ATROCIOUS!!! YOU CAN HEAR YOUR NEIGHBORS THROUH THE WALLS. IN THE HOME THE BUILDER PUT A LOT OF UNECESSARY WINDOWS WHICH MAKES IT EXTREMELY COLD IN THE WINTER AND HOT IN THE SUMMER. I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT LOOKING AT THE SIDE OF MY NEIGHBORS HOUSE I WOULD RATHER BE WARM. OH AND HERES THE REAL KICKER...MY LEASE WAS FINALLY UP AND WE LEFT AND WE RECIEVED A BILL IN THE MAIL NOT ONLY SAYING OUR DEPOSIT WAS NON REFUNDABLE BUT WE OWE 908 DOLLARS IN DAMAGES. THEY ALREADY DID NOT GIVE US OUR DEPOSIT BACK BUT WERE CHARGING US FOR A NEW REFRIGERATOR FOR DENTS THAT OCCURED PRIOR TO US AND THAT WERE RECORDED WITH THE PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT. THEY ARE ALLEGING THAT THERE IS NOTHING IN OUR FILE ABOUT DENTS SO WE HAVE TO PAY 650 DOLLARS FOR A BRAND NEW ONE EVEN THOUGH DENTS ARE COSMETIC AND DONT TAKE AWAY FROM THE FUNCTION OF THE REFRIGERATOR. ALSO THEY ARE CHARGING ME 50 DOLLARS FOR A BLIND THAT WAS BROKEN THAT WE ALSO TOLD TO PRIOR MANAGEMENT AND 130 DOLLARS TO CLEAN EVEN THOUGH THEY WOULD NEED TO CLEAN ANYWAYS AND WE LEFT IT REASONABLY CLEAN. AFTER A LONG HEATED CALL AND TEARS WITH COORPORATE I DID NOT GET ANYWHERE. I BELIEVE WITH THEM TAKING OVER FROM NEW MANAGMENT THEY SHOULD GIVE PEOPLE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT BECAUSE THEY CANT SAY WHAT WAS DONE BEFORE THEM BUT INSTEAD THEY WANT TO RUN A BUSSINESS WHERE THEIR PRESENT AND PRIOR TENANTS are disgruntled.
The staff is very uncooperative. If you need something fixed and put in a work order its well get to it in the order it was received .
The management team is rude and keeps taking advantage from their residents. I will not recommend anyone.
Best place I lived
