Worked with the team @ Daves Glass on our shower door, bathroom fixtures and mirrors - they did a phenomenal job and everything turned out great! Their team was very helpful, knowledgeable and did a great job on the installation(s). I highly recommend Daves Glass.

Phone service is useless. Asked them to come out and look at a broken Pella window and they set up a time. Service man comes out and tells me they cant change out Pella windows. The person you call just sets up appointments - doesnt know what they do and dont do.

First, the finished product looks great. I have concerns on the glass movement when the door is opened/closed but they are the professionals. The installers say it was addressed but we will see with time.Second, we are not entirely happy with the process of ordering and install that occurred. I placed the deposit on 4/17/18. The glass was ordered and install was scheduled 2 weeks later (so far so good). The installers came as scheduled and determined the measurements collected were incorrect (it happens). The re-cut glass took an additional 5 weeks. Mind you, my wife is very pregnant and the second shower is across the house. So nightly travels to and from the bathroom is not ideal. The installers came back with the re-cut glass and it all fit. During install, I was told it should only take 1-½ or so to complete. It ended up taking the entire morning (4 ish hours) as they had to keep meeting other installs to get pieces and parts due to not having everything form the starts. They said something about the shop not getting everything together for the job.In the end the finished product is nice (see pic). We wish we knew how this would have gone from the beginning. So our expectations would have been different. We understand things happen but when a “rush” piece of glass to get re-cut takes nearly 3 times longer than the first cut, I lose an understanding of the situation. As of now I have not received a bill for the remainder of the cost but will defiantly not be coming back for the other bath project nor, recommend Dave’s Glass to others without some sort of deal. In the end a product that should have taken 2 weeks to order and 1-1/2 hr to install took 7 weeks to order and 4 hr to install. Not a great outcome. Plan accordingly.Update (19-June-18): 3 Star changed to 5 StarDerek was quick in response (within 24 hr) to this posting and contact me by phone. Very pleasant person to chat with! After discussing this issue with me, Derek went above and beyond with a financial discount in response to the timeliness of the install. Very unexpected and much appreciated Derek. Thank you again. It was mentioned that further investigation and ordering process changes may take place to remedy this issue from occurring again in the future. It is very encouraging to hear Dave’s Glass is welcoming of productive criticism and is proactive in correcting the way they do business. Thanks again Derek. We will defiantly be back for future bathroom renovations.Matt

About ten months ago Daves Glass came out to look at my patio door which was becoming very difficult to move. Tech adjusted door and ordered new rollers. When the new rollers arrived (about 3 weeks later) the installer came and told me there was nothing wrong with my rollers and I did not need them and he hated to charge me for something I did not need. I found this odd as the door is over 30 years old and the rollers have never been replaced. But he is the professional so I went with his recommendation and did not have the rollers installed.Fast forward to 10/13/20, door is again difficult to move. Tech came out and made an adjustment and ordered new rollers once again. November 10th called for an update and I was told rollers are on back order. No expected delivery date provided. Of course the back order is due to Covid.December 4th called again for an update. Receptionist said the scheduler would need to call me back. Never received a call back, Called again on December 5th. Receptionist informed me the scheduler did not get back into the office until after 7:00 on the 4th. Last I checked my phone works after 7:00 pm. After looking at my paperwork on the 5th she informed me there was a minimum order required and my rollers did not meet the minimum. So are you telling me the rollers were never ordered? I asked why ten months ago the rollers were in within 3 weeks of being ordered and now there was a problem. I asked why they just did not order other rollers to meet the minimum? She responded we cant just store parts. Really! So once again the scheduler would need to call me Monday. Received the call back Monday morning with an install date. Isnt it funny how those rollers suddenly met the minimum requirement? Certainly makes me wonder if I had not called when my rollers would have been installed.Customer service is non existent with Daves Glass. There is no reason why they cannot communicate with their customers about the status of orders. A simple phone call Hi, this is Daves Glass just wanting to let you know your order is..... It does not take any time to make a phone call. There also is no reason not to return a phone call. If you cant do it then give your receptionist the information and let her call you back. To just ignore the people who are providing your paycheck is extremely poor business practice.Daves was once a reputable company and very responsive. But they were also new and needed to have a good name behind their company. As a former business owner we used them when we had patio door glass replaced on our properties. We spent an enormous amount of money with Daves Glass. I can honestly say I do not think I would recommend them based solely on their lack of customer service. It no longer exists. They need to remember when I tell people about my experience they are going to tell others and so it goes.

Steve and Caleb did an excellent job on our porch screen and door, even came back same day to adjust door. Steve was very professional and polite, didn’t speak to Caleb but he seemed hard working. I would recommend Dave’s Glass !!!!

Brought my RV window in to have the glass replaced after a RV park broke it with their mower. I dropped the frame off and they told me 1-1.5 weeks till it was ready. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything I called them. They didnt seem to have any idea about my window and after being on hold for a few minutes they came back and said they just had to put the glass in the frame, will be ready the next day and they would call me to let me know it was ready (they asked for my phone number again so they must have lost it)I waited 4 days and called back. Once again put on hold for a few minute then told oh, they are working on it right now, will be ready by tomorrow, can we have your phone number so we can call and let you know? Another 3 days goes by and still nothing so I call AGAIN. This time I was told umm we are really busy, can we call you back later? I saw yes. They never called me back so I called again the next day, I was put on hold and transferred to different people 2 times before someone named Brian came on and told me the window was ready but they lost the hinge that rivets to the frame (and holds the window to my RV) Once again I was asked for my phone number so they could contact me after they searched for a new hinge.Never heard anything back so I finally called AGAIN and Brian told me yea, guess we cant find a hinge so we will have to buy a whole new frame from the RV dealer (keep in mind they couldnt call ME to tell me this, they have been waiting for me to call every time) Now it has been almost 7 weeks since they put the order in with the RV dealer, I emailed them on 8/20 and asked what the status of that was. Brian then responded that he had called them and the dealer said they would call him back, they didnt so he called again and left a voicemail. He then wrote that he would call again first thing the next morning and update me.It is now 8/28 and I have still not heard back from anyone. I have never worked with a business that has acted this way and honestly am quite annoyed. I waited a few weeks to write this review so my emotions wouldnt make me write stuff I would regret. I have now gone almost the whole camping season without a window in my RV because of this whole debacle.I wasnt too upset when they told me the hinge was lost, I get that things happen and no one did it on purpose, the thing that has really gotten me annoyed is that almost every time they told me they would call me, they didnt. Its almost like they lost my phone number every time because they asked for it every time I called. Im trying to be understanding but as the weeks go by, its getting harder and harder to do that.**10/20/18 update**They finally brought out my window on September 6th, but it was loose in the frame and the rivets were coming out of the hinge. Long story short they bent the hinge installing it, I had to provide rivets and a rivet gun for them to install new rivets, and they had to use silicone to stop the window from moving in the frame AND IT LEAKED WATER INTO MY RV!!!! The guy installing it even told me he isnt trained in auto glass, just house glass installs.I went to an RV surplus shop and bought a window from there. It has some scratches in the glass but at least its sealed like it would be from the factory. I will still have to take my trailer to a RV dealer in the spring because they pulled loose the rivets on the hinge part that rivets into the trailer so it still leaks some, but a strip of duct tape across the rivets will allow that to last through winter storage with no leaks.01/28/19 updateTalked to a manager for a long time on the phone a couple months ago, Im still annoyed that this all happened but they did compensate me in a mutually acceptable way and we discussed how this could be prevented in the future

Daves glass is very slow to get glass ordered and out for install. Service people and office staff are very friendly however timeframe from order to install is very, very long, and the glass itself may not be the right cut which then needs to be reordered. A very frustrating process.

Daves Glass Service provided all of the custom mirrors and glass shower doors in our home. They listened to our needs and kept searching until they found exactly the frames and hardware that we wanted. Their installation team was friendly and efficient. Great local business! I had a glass shower installed during a remodeling project. The end result was fine & the installers were friendly and professional. The problem came almost a year later when, out of the blue, I received a threatening letter from this company related to services for which Id already paid. When I tried to contact the owner to resolve the issue, employees refused to provide the owners name (another red flag?). Remodeling can be stressful enough, life is too short and there are many other providers of this service. I cannot recommend this company.

Kelly dropped the ball... I would have been ok with her making a mistake if she simply owned up to it... They dis not order our glass shower doors when they were supposed to plus the install job they did on my mirrors was hideous. Bottom line: get your glass elsewhere, these guys are sloppy.

A week ago, I went to Daves to arrange getting my windshield replaced. The lady did a nice job taking my information. She inspected the damage and wrote some info down.Arrived today to find out they had ordered the wrong windshield for a different model car. No apology... no service recovery... nothing. Just the response that we can order the right windshield, but it wont get in for another week.I get that mistakes happen, inconvenient and irritating, but they do happen. For the next customer, maybe you could act like you care?Update: Im changing my review score to 3 stars. After posting my initial Google rating. They responded that afternoon and scheduled to have the repairs completed the next afternoon. The job was completed as expected.
