Review №2

We had Northcoast reglaze and weatherstrip our 150 year old original growth timber windows. Their work really reduced air infiltration, so much so that in the winter the Allied Storm windows no longer cloud up, so you cannot see through them. This is an excellent way to make your old windows energy efficient and preserve them for years to come. This helps keep things out of our landfills. For us the drawbacks was the dust from cutting the windows for the weatherstripping and more dust from reglazing. The only other problem we had was that in racking the windows up and down for fit, they broke some of the L shaped wood corners. While they did fix them, this meant additional work in patching, sanding and repainting sashes that we had already freshly painted. Still would recommend this an an energy efficient way of preserving your original windows. You will never find a replacement window that will last that long
