Tom and John are the best. Like fishing with your buddies except they are pros who catch fish better then most everyone.I have been on two trips with them and caught a sailfish on both.One trip we caught probably 40+ fish.Kings, mahi, snapper and a sail.It’s fishing so it’s never guaranteed, but if they are to be caught these guys will put you on them.Update: Just went fishing on Tomcat again Friday 6/4.Epic trip. Tuna, snapper, mahi and a big grouper!!!

Captain Tom and his first mate John were AWESOME!!! If youre looking for an incredible deep sea fishing adventure without having to travel to far off the coast - this is it!!! My family and I had an amazing day and were so pleased with how knowledgeable and fun the crew was! What made the day extra special was pulling in a 40lb BULL Mahi along with a COW that weighed about 20lbs.! In total we pulled in approximately 75lbs of Mahi in one incredible morning excursion!! We cant wait to get back out there with Captain Tom and John! Thank you again for an incredible experience!

Highly recommended, Capt Tom can do it all!! My husband and I went for a half day trip and went 6 for 7 on sailfish with 3 doubles. We finished the morning doing some bottom fishing. We had such a good time that we booked a second trip, and again had the trip of a lifetime. On top of an already great day of fishing, Tom got us on some giant snook and we had some chances at a school of tarpon. This was definitely a 5 star experience, and we would recommend it to anyone who has the chance.

We went out fishing yesterday with Capt. Tom. Despite not catching a lot of fish due to conditions, Tom persisted and put us on some great amberjacks. Most importantly, he is the nicest charter captain I have ever fished with. We look forward to returning to fish with him again.

Disappointing – I’ve been fishing here all of my life and am in between boats. I had out of town family come down to visit. They consider me the family expert on fishing and asked me to book a charter. I’ve seen Tomcat on Facebook and the photo’s so I called Captain Tom and spoke to him. I explained all of this and what type of fishing I wanted to do and he said sure I will take good care of you. Well when we showed up it was Captain John, NOT Tom, and he rushed us on the boat and said lets go. He took us out fishing and just did what he wanted. Tom the owner obviously told him nothing or just didn’t want to deal with a local person with fishing knowledge. We didn’t chum using live bait or target Dolphin, Tuna, Yellow Tail Snapper, or anything like we talked about. I feel very let down and disappointed. I guess the other not so good review is true they are all about the money. We paid 600.00 for 4 hours of fishing 4 or 5 miles right out of the Jupiter Inlet with leftover frozen pilchards and then they expected a big tip for the Captain and the 1st mate.

Great day with Tom and John. Every spot they took us was better than the last. Caught 2 Sailfish, a bunch of big Amberjack, Snapper and more. They made the day fun. Definitely going out with them again soon and when company is in town. Go fish with them!!

Worst fishing experience ever! These guys are all about the money. What captain takes a boat out on 8-10 foot waves? They should have known better, it was a struggle to get the boat 3 miles out, and then of course we didn’t catch anything.I would never recommend this company, find a captain who has more experience in fishing and isn’t just about taking your money!TOM CAT FISHING SUCKS!

Captain Tom and his Sea Vee boat was a pleasure to fish on. His knowledge of exactly where to find the bait on the day we fished was incredible. Other Capts. were clearly struggling to locate bait. His local knowledge was evident. We caught snapper, grouper, sailfish, and an assortment of other bottom dwellers. Our family went on a 1/2 day trip with Tom & John this morning and we had a great time. Both were exceedingly patient with all 4 of us newbies and helped us catch much more fish than I was expecting . Tom supplies everything you need for fishing so all you really need to bring is sunscreen & a hat. We highly recommend Tom Cat Fishing and we will definitely go out with him again next time.

Great day on the water with the boys! Couldn’t believe how many fish we caught. My buddy caught a huge Cobia, 30lbs. We almost beat the yellow tail record. Both Tom and John were great, took us right to the fish and they were biting. They were great company, considerate, and kept the bait coming. Also unbelievable at the end that they turned our haul into beautiful steaks and filets. Have come back. Will come back.

The guys really put us on the fish and my family and I had a total blast. They were extremely knowledgeable and it was a full day of reeling rather than waiting. What I liked best is that they mixed up the location and the technique to keep the action hot.

My brothers, uncle and I had a total blast. We spend the day reeling not waiting. We all needed a nap after getting back and our arms were sore (in a good way) the next day from so much reeling. I liked that they could tell when a spot was going cold and moved quickly to another spot to keep the action going.

We had a great experience yesterday fishing with captain Tom. We caught snapper, king mackerel, a dolphin and my first sailfish ! On the way in we stopped and had a “victory swim”as captain Tom called it at a beautiful sand bar . Thank you for a great experience!

My family hired Tom in February of 2016 for a few half days. The weather was not ideal, but Tom and his deckhand kept us moving from a few miles offshore, to along the beach and some Inter-coastal Waterway. They always found the fish.We caught 3 big sailfish, a huge King Mack, some smaller mackerel, a couple nice Dorado and lots of reef snapper etc... They ran kite rigs, flat lines (both with live goggle eyes) and let us drift fish until the big lines hit.This is a serious fishing charter. If you want to drink beer, float the current and feed Bonito to the sharks these are not your guys. If you want to catch fish and have a great time they are. Tom will clean all your fish, bag them and give you the 3 best places in town you cook them up for you. Could not be higher on this charter; friendly, fun, good with all levels of fisherman.

I went out with a group of friends on the Tom Cat last month and we killed it! We hooked up to multiple mahi at the same time and caught a king fish towards the end of the trip. Been on a lot of fishing trips with the Marathon Lady in the Keys, Lady Stuart and the Safari 1. All those trips sucked. Only a lucky few catch fish if anyone catches fish. I recently went with a few family members on the Tomcat and this is what fishing should be. We caught our limit of Cobia, one helluva Kingfish and the biggest Bonita Ive ever seen. The Tomcat crew was awesome and these guys will put you on FISH! We are planning another trip with them very soon. Thank You again TOMCAT!

Very unprofessional call to book a charter told me his got a opening then changed his mind and hung up the phone, I tried to call back thinking call was dropped and the same thing happened, I would not charter with a rude guy like you thanks for letting me know upfront who you are before I have you my money have a good one! 🙂
