Used to be good but past 2-3 visits in the past 18+ months have been utter rip offs. Been taking my 3 cars there for more than 6 years. Earlier service experiences were great / they were upfront, honest and did good work. But for the past 2-3 visits have been utter rip offs. Their tire service is especially horrendous. They will blame anything for tires wearing down well before their warranted life - the alignment (which they do but apparently not well), your driving style, your car, etc. I’m done with these guys.

Firestone is just awesome! I called them to help with a side mirror Symons Auto wash had knocked off my car. Vic came out and took his time to remove it and then seal up all the wires so they wouldnt get wet, etc during my drive south.Great people, good work ethic, and kindness!Thanks Firestone!

Doug, Courtney, Bob really made it easy peasy up here at firestone in Johnstown Pa :) They took care of my baby Penelope ! They were not super expensive either. Customer service was superb !!! Worth the money i spent :) They are practicing safe distancing and mask here as well :)

Very nice, casual, but professional... To the point. I liked that. They answered my questions simply and the point. No hidden fees. Simple honest service. A little more congeniality would have been appreciative. But, all-in-all, a good job.

My alignment was better before they touched it an the lady at the front end desk was very unfriendly an unhelpful I would never recommend anyone to go here if I could leave a no star I would

The Johnstown Firestone was very helpful in correcting the issue that the Altoona Firestone created. Let me explain....I had four new tires put on my car on March 11th by the Altoona facility. I noticed a vibration on my wat to my sons house in Johnstown yesterday. I arrived at my sons and asked him and my daughters boyfriend to take a look at it. Right away they noticed that my front passenger side tire was off bead and leaking air fast. I called to see how late the Johnstown facility was open and since they were open till 6, my daughters boyfriend removed my tire and my daughter and myself took it to the Johnstown Firestone. The associate at Firestone took my tire back and popped it on the wheel and balanced it for me free of charge.....then put it in my daughters trunk and apologized for the error even though it wasnt his fault. I could have been killed if the tire would have popped off the wheel while I was driving so I am thankful that God was once again watching over me.

Buyer beware. they said I needed $2,000 worth of work done. Took my car somewhere else and they said nothing was wrong with my car except it needed tire rotation done. Ill never go back to Firestone..

If I could do negative stars I would. The first time that I came to this store for an oil change they told me that I also needed a transmission flush, new oil filter and an alignment and that for an additional $30 I could have unlimited alignments for a year. I went ahead with the alignment and oil change and took it to another shop who informed me that the filter and the transmission was no near needing to be replaced. I just called back to schedule an oil change with my alignment service and was informed that they dont offer unlimited alignments and that the package is for anther one more alignment anytime within the year. When I asked for the specifics the store manager argued with me and hung up. I would not recommend this place to my ex mother-in-law.

Always friendly service. And they will make it right. A goof on their part. But from a salesmans point of view you sometimes do what you have to to seal the deal. No worries.

Had to wait a long time, no big deal but they did offer some nice discounts, financing and a well maintained facility including a restroom.

I went to Firestone because it was the closest tire store near me at the time. My tires valve stem was damaged and I was losing air fast. When I walked in I was greeted with kindness by Todd and without any hesitation he took my car to the back and within 20 min my tire was fixed and my kiddos and I were safely on our way! Firestone in Johnstown will now be where I go for all my tire needs! Thank you Todd!

This is a decent place to get work done. They havent tried to pressure me into a bunch of add ones and they do good work. Its easy to get an appointment and they do the work in a reasonable amount of time. There was an issue once with a repair I got and they did what they had to do to resolve it as fast as possible.

I used to love this place I was a loyal customer and paid out probably $5,000 to them over 5 years or less to keep my 2003 in perfect running condition.... then I got a different car and it turned into a nightmare they tried to tell me the battery was dead when it wasnt the manager tried to tell me it was because it was a new employee but the jokes on him Id seen that guy working there for at least a year prior to this incident then it got worse I came in for a sensor and they intentionally drained my Freon from my a.c. so it wouldnt work and Id have to pay them almost $3,000 to fix! It was blowing cold air up until I took it to them so I know they did it dont let these crooks touch your car without watching them like a hawk from the lobby

Seemed to do good work, reasonable amount of wait time, fast appointment, and nice people. Didnt try to shove extra work down my throat. All in all, happy with my experience with the Johnstown Pa branch.

An amazing bunch of people working at this Firestone. I was travelling from VA to MI, and had a flat tire on my way. They were open on a Sunday, got to love em for that first of all. They towed out all of my luggage, changed my tire in 30 minutes and put me back on the road. 30 minutes later the rear tire on my car gave way and it was 4.15 PM. I called them immediately back and asked them to wait for me as I wasnt going to risk looking for a new place on a Sunday evening. By the time I got back to them it was 5.20 PM and the team was waiting for my mother, daughter and I after close even to help us out. They didnt have the tire size available with them for my car so we had to stay overnight for them to arrange it from out of town, which arrived early AM even though we werent expecting to be back on the road till later that evening. One of them even drove along with us to show us a decent hotel in the neighborhood.I would highly recommend these guys for professional service with a caring touch !!!!!!!!

Completely unreliable, if you want an oil change and have at least 3hrs to wait this is the place to go. 1hr in and told they can get it started in the next 20 minutes.

First off im a car guy and do what i can myself. I had a slow leak on my car and since i do not have a tire machine i asked that they clean the rim surface and reseat the bead. I had already checked the tire and confirmed it was leaking from the inner bead. 40 minutes later the tech shows me a nail already removed and a chalk circle on my tire. Since they removed the tire from the rim i could clearly see no whole on the interior surface of the tire. They started talking about deals on 2 tires and stated they could not fix it. Absolutely absurd. I had them remount it and got it resealed somewhere else for 12 bucks.What RIP off artists, hopefully others are not falling for these scam artists. I truly believe others with less knowledge would have ended up paying top dollar for 2 new tires since you know, they only come in sets.

Got my alignment done here and back for 4 new tires. Busy usually at the end of the month with inspections, so I recommend calling and making an appointment.

Our car overheated and then broke down on a Sunday on our way to Firestone because this was the only place that was open. They fixed our thermostat and radiator. We had to spend the night at a hotel but they are friendly people and very professional and work fast

Ive been here a few times for different things. An insurrection here or there, an oil change now and then, and an occasional tire repair. With my tire repairs I didnt have an appointment, and they always make time to fix me up so I wasnt stranded in Johnstown. Ive never felt pressured by up sales, and Ive never been lied too.

Easy to do business with these guys. Ive been using them for tires and service for over a decade.

The staff was knowledgeable and upfront, and althey were able to accommodate my requests in a timely manner. Personable and professional - thats the reason I was willing to drive almost an hour to have my vehicle serviced here.

Went in to have my breaks checked since they started squeaking. The sales manager said they had a 99 dollar sales special going. After the break inspection the these guys wanted to charge me 1,300.00 dollars to fix my breaks. The sales manager who seemed a bit cheesy kind of like a used car salesman took me out into the car bay and showed me my breaks. He told me a bunch of stuff needed to be fixed on my breaks thats why it would be 1,300.00 dollars. I told him I would need to come back after I got paid. At this point the sales manager became frustrated and tried to pull the scare tactics by saying I wouldnt drive that truck if I was you. Your taking your life into your own hands. I then drove my truck to a state certified mechanic to do the same brake inspection. I was told all I needed was brake pads and it would be around 150.00 dollars to fix. I then showed this mechanic what Firestone and the cheesy sales manager was trying to charge me. He then informed me that Firestone was trying to charge for unnecessary work and was also price gouging. 150.00 later and my truck is doing great. After doing some research I discover that Firestone does this on multiple occasions. In fact some states might be revoking Firestones rights to do business because of things like this. If you yutube Firestone you can see for yourself. I am filing a complaint with the state attorneys office here in Pennsylvania, the better business bureau and with Firestone corporate office.

Theyre very great people there make you feel like you are family. When I need something done I will be going to them

If I could give zero stars I would. IF YOU DRIVE A FLEET VEHICLE STAY AWAY FROM FIRESTONE IN JOHNSTOWN, dropped my vehicle off at noon and other vehicles got in before mine and BBL wasnt even attempted to be called until 6PM so nothing I brought the vehicle in for was even done not even a oil change.Front end personel Doug is incompentent to say the least. I will not return and urge all other drivers for fleet vehicles to not waste your time going here.

Didnt fill out the oil change sticker or use synthetic oil

I was traveling from Ohio to Philadelphia and somehow ended up having two studs snapped off of my rear tire while driving. After calling an unhealthy amount of auto part dealers and auto repair centers I found and called Firestone which was still a 30 minute drive from where I was at when the studs broke, but they were the only place that could help that was open (noon on a Saturday). I made it to them and was greeted by Zach who was nothing but helpful to me and my girlfriend in this situation. They took my car within minutes after discussing the problem, and he had his best technician Jeremy on the fix. They continuously kept us updated with what they were doing and even had me go back and look at the problem as they discussed my options. Zach even called a rental car agency for me as getting a rental car was a potential option (as I had to get to Philly on Sunday). There were some worst case scenarios with my vehicle when it came to getting the snapped off studs out but Jeremy was able to do it without any damage to the wheel (as that was a major risk) and even test drove the car after fixing it to make sure the new studs worked perfect. We are extremely thankful for the service at this place!

My elderly uncle went there to find out what was wrong with his jeep and they did maitnance that wasnt needed and told him it was and charged him 285 dollars to rotate tires, check the problem, change coolant and told him he needs 1400 dollars for front bearings and back brakes, I call that rip off. My local garage will do it all for 675 dollars I think that is a big difference dont you. He didnt need his coolest chafed but they told him it needed it and it didnt just to put money in there pocket.

Not real happy about knowing a pipe bought by me cost $106 And they up charge it to $2 06 And the same with gaskets $16.00 for me at store but $46.00 thru them and no help on bill like any rebates Im just not happy with that
