This is my 7th Subaru and I love it. Spangler Subaru is a great place. Once I bought there I continued to return. They are extremely helpful and you never feel pressured while looking at the cars.They make it easy to ask questions even after youve had the car awhile.

We were well pleased with the Forester and Jared with his help returning our leased vehicle.

My husband and I had a horrible experience here. Big-time pressure from the service staff to commit to very costly, unnecessary repairs! We were traveling on the PA turnpike when our oil change light came on. We regularly get our car serviced at a Subaru place where we lived, so we went to the closest Subaru place before continuing our travels. The service folks at Spangler Subaru told us half the engine needed to be immediately replaced or the car would be unsafe to continue driving home. Huge $6000 invoice and an estimated week of repairs. No check engine light ever went off, so that sounded suspect. They also said talk with our sales people because this may be greater than the value of your car and we could possibly have you trade your car in and start a new car purchase. Can you talk about escalating quickly? I know car salesmen are high pressure but from service folks, this was another level. Seriously, they were really pressuring us into hugely costly repairs or a car purchase, when all we needed was an oil change!How do I know this? We called our home Subaru service department who said before doing a huge engine replacement we should do an oil consumption test first, which is to just get an oil change and then drive 1200 miles and see how the oil is doing. Our home Subaru guys said it sounds suspicious if we never saw the check engine light go off, that our entire short block would have to be replaced so immediately after just an oil-change light. So we got the oil change at Spangler and then drove off -- no engine noise or problems or concerns the rest of our drive home some 250 miles! But to the very end, the Spangler folks pressured us with severe scare tactics saying youll never make it home; we had trouble starting your car; I wouldnt drive that; and other nonsense! It was ridiculous levels of pressure and trying to scare us into thousands of dollars of repairs we clearly didnt need! We will take our car to our trusty Subaru service place at home now and see if it needs repairs but clearly the Spangler service dept is either 1) incompetent in their assessment that our car needed a half-engine replacement or wouldnt drive; or 2) using deceit to get business by tricking people into thinking they need huge repairs they dont immediately need. I know everyone has less business these days and needs work, but this reached unethical levels of pressure to straight-up lying about the state of our car. So if you dont have thousands of dollars to spare, I wouldnt trust these folks with repairs. Get a second opinion.

The Service center went above and beyond any expectations, the techs worked diligently to get my car back in running order very quickly. Very pleased with my overall experience.

I dealt with 4 Subaru dealerships in 3 states looking for - most of all- good customer service and second - good prices. Spangler Subaru was excellent on both counts! So easy to work with- no pressure and very committed to the customer. When someone asks You drove over 2 hours to buy a car? My answer is Yes and I would do it again to work with Spangler Subaru !

She guided me through the warranty and loan paperwork, explaining everything and making sure I understood everything I was signing. Not all car salesman are created equal. I shopped for a car (four other dealers plus Spangler), and by far, Jared Matson was THE most professional and knowledgeable salesperson I spoke with. He could answer every question I had without saying, um...let me check on that like the others did. He knew his product and he knew it well. He was even knowledgeable about other situations going on in other aspects of the auto industry, not just Subaru, which was very impressive.. Stop to check out a vehicle that was on the internet. Looking for a used vehicle. Salesman was very polite and not pushy. Run some options with him. Choose is in my lap with no pressure from the salesman. The salesman was good at answering the questions I had. Nice to relax and think slowly on my choices in making a decision.

I was taken on time, knew in advance the approximate length of my wait time. Waiting area is clean with snacks and beverages, comfortable chairs and ample space. My car was washed, service reviewed with me and took the exact amount of time I expected. Staff is friendly and pleasant.I had a question about one of my car features and although my salesperson was not available, another employee found someone to assist me. He was thorough and inquired whether I need additional assistance before leaving. I highly recommend Spangler Subaru!

Everyone was so friendly, and not pushy. Every question we asked about the vehicle we purchased was answered fully, and they made sure we understood all the high-tech features before we drove off the lot. My biggest praise was their patience, as we had an infant and toddler with us. Toys were brought out and one team member even played with our toddler while we signed papers!

Theyve managed to do almost everything on my vehicle under warranty. They even aligned it at no charge. Im a bit upset, as I told them my windshield washer nozzle needed replaced, yet they didnt have one in stock to replace it. Having at least two weeks before my appointment, I felt sure theyd order one. Fortunately, I was in the area last week and they repaired it. I called the service dept, they said be here before 4:30 and well fix it. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. The service staff seem to work well together, and the desk staff seem very knowledgeable. Oh, and they have a Subaru supported recycling program too--all snack wrappers and drink containers! The waiting area is nice, snack selection is good, and loaner cars are usually available.

I would not recommend dealing with this place. We found a great deal on a Subaru and called to get info on the car. We were told that we couldn’t buy the car until it went thru inspection because it was just traded. We told them to get it in the garage and get it inspected and call back with any issues. We would be up tomorrow to purchase it with cash. We weren’t given the option to put a deposit down and we weren’t allowed to buy it until it was inspected. If I would have been given the option for a deposit, I would have driven an hour and put the deposit down. We get a phone call two hours later that the car is sold. Maybe the salespeople need to be trained better, maybe they need better communication amongst themselves, very unprofessional. There are too many other dealerships that I have dealt with that would NEVER do this to someone.

Editing my pervious one star review. I did not have a good sales experience here at all. However, the services here are outstanding. My car (that I bought from here) needed a lot of work 2 years after purchasing, they fixed it with a reasonable price.

We were on vacation and called Jeff at the service desk at 3:15 on a Friday afternoon when our check engine light appeared. We drove to the dealership and they diagnosed and fixed the problem within an hour. They were very professional and pleasant and allowed us to continue our vacation

My first visit to the recently remodeled service area. I needed a headlamp replaced and an oil change. They took me in quickly through the express service check-in and I waited for the service to be completed in a comfortable and clean customer lounge. I really liked that a service associate kept me updated on the status of my vehicle vs. me having to continually ask while I have waited in limbo at other dealership service centers. I was out in an hour and the charges were fair.This is our 4th Subaru Outback wagon, all of which we have purchased at other Subaru dealerships. Unfortunately, when buying this vehicle, Spangler wasnt able to beat the regional competition on pricing and they didnt seem to care to negotiate either. I had to go out of the area for a much better deal. A few hundred or a couple of thousand bucks makes a difference for most buyers and with so much information on new and used vehicle pricing on the Internet, it seems like hardball selling should be a thing of the past... if you want to stay in business in the long term.

Great place to buy a car! We did most of the negotiating over the phone with Jared who is an awesome salesman because we live 1:45 minutes away in gibsonia. Jared went the extra mile for us as there was an odor in the car and he took it to mihalkos to have the odor removed at our request. The treatment worked and the dealership split the cost of the treatment with us. We went to pick up the car and everything was just as we negotiated, no sudden surprises. Denise in finance was also very helpful. If youre looking for a car give them a call and ask for Jared, I think youll be happy if you do. We got much better treatment than some other places we went. Way to go Spangler!

When I had my car inspected they noticed my front wheel bearings were bad & they replaced them that same day since I had gotten a rental from them without a problem unlike other dealerships that Ive went to around the area, the service is pretty much the best around in my opinion!

We have an older Subaru Legacy for our daughter and we love it. I got a second Subaru (Outback) for myself not just because of the excellent brand; but because of the service at Spangler Subaru. The people at Spangler Subaru service are honest, fair, and timely. They do a great job finding the problem and are reasonable with charges. We had a problem out-of-town with the Legacy at a Firestone in Cleveland. I drove the car back to Johnstown because (for good reason) I couldnt trust the guys in Cleveland. Spangler Subaru took care of the problem for no charge. I wont go anywhere else!
