Been to this place twice two years apart both times were a complete waste of my time. I mean the ladies are hot but that doesn’t make up the fact they can’t find people jobs. Always give me the will call you if we get anything and then never hear from them again.

I have worked for Express since 2015/2016 on and off. I dont know whats going on. Its went down hill. I have just in 2021 worked 2 different clients with them. They went to give me a job in the hot sun for 8 hours a day and lower than average pay. To say the least I ended up accepting another job. And here is the flip.I had direct deposit set up like always. I had to update my banking information and theysaid it could be 2 weeks but once you get the penny deposit itll be set up so i waited and received a paper check the next week. Well the following week was direct deposit which means they did their verification.Lo and behold my last check from previous client was a paper check. Ive never had that happen and have to have a papercheck at the end of the client. EVER.......so, forgranted I was a nc/ns for the new client. Okay, I have another job. So I havent answered when they call. So since I havent answered, I normally get paid Wednesdays on direct deposit. I noticed my check wasnt there and realized they had cut me a paper check. Why? And due to me being at my new job I couldnt pick it up. So I called and talked to Megan, advised her my mom was coming to pick the check up, well Sonya proceeds to text my mother phone saying marlee you need to pick up the check personally. But since I was at work I couldnt so I sent my mother And someone from the office calls me daily.sonya has never been like this to me before and I feel its very disrespectful. Very rude. So if they wouldnt have given my mom the check I would still be sitting here without a paycheck.I will NEVER in my life work for this company again. This was very dirty to say the least. You played with my money to pay my bills and feed my son. So I have nothing left to say or willing to give to this company. I will never return.Overall when I worked with them in the past there was no problems.be aware with this company if you decide to work with them.

Do not work for these people. If you are on covid leave they will fire you, like they did to me. I had to quarantine for covid and because of that i got fired.

Jobs that Im qualified for that I call and inform about all I ever get us your marked available keep calling each week. Its cause they dont do their jobs and its pathetic service. I would not recommend this pkace

The staff here is fantastic, so friendly and willing to help. I feel like Express really wants to place you in a job that is a good fit for everyone. I highly recommend Express if you are looking for a job, they will do everything they can to find you a job that best suits all your needs!EDIT****I would like to retract my statement as I never heard anything from them about a job. When I left this review, I had an interview that next day. Never heard anything about it. A couple weeks later they texted me about a job, I called.. never heard anymore about it. I called to let them know I hadn’t heard anything from them and she said she was sorry about it. This was back in October and I still haven’t heard a word from them. I gave up. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!

The manager with the first name of Sonja was very rude when I asked for the agent to write down the address of my tour for 9am today. I called because I never recieved a text message of time nor place by this employment. She belittled me by saying I had them write it down for you but Ill make sure to text it and I have screenshots of never being texted I was the one who was adamant about having it wrote down as Express has failed to text me.several times The paper I had the agent write only the location not name of business or timeframe had gotten way and ineligible. I never recieved a text until I called and then text was sent out. By that time it was 8:52 am and my appointment for the tour was at 9am. I would like corporates phone number as lacosta failed to do her duties and will send screenshots as well once corporate has contacted me. Thank you. Nina was very pleasant and nice. The actions of your manager is unacceptable and I would like to speak with someone above her position. Thank you. After speaking with the owner the issues were resolved and have had plenty of job opportunities.

Express is a great agency to work for. Im not sure who these others are, who are rude and direspectful, but in my opinion Manarka is wonderful, very kind, and very understanding. The experience I, along with many others I know who have worked through Express, have only had good experiences. Even if the perfect full time position doesnt come along immediately, they get you working temporarily, so you at least get a pay check coming in. Out of all the experiences I have had with staffing agencies, this one is above and beyond great. I would recommend them any day of the week.

I applied for a job with this company a year ago, filled out my information and took my drug test and they never got back with me about the job I applied for or any other job for that matter. The recuiter Misty or Missy wouldnt return my calls or e-mails. Gave them a second chance, I applied for a job with them again, on a Friday they asked me to come in for an interview the following Monday. I came in and filled out some paperwork only to be told the job I applied for was filled and they had NOTHING else lined up at that time. Not only did this company waste my time but they led me to believe something which wasnt true. Avoid this company at all costs!

I have worked for this company for 3 yrs, and in two different states. They will get the jobs, and get you in. Although, you really need to want to work, and call them, show up, and work. Lay out every Friday, quit a job because you dont like working, dont make an effort to let them know you really want to work. Well, you are definitely going to get back out of it what you put in! That goes for everything in life. Think life owes you, think life should be a breeze, think life should accommodate you when you put in no effort. Then I suggest you get on Welfare, SSI, SSDI, or just live under a bridge. Get out and make it happen that is how it is done.

Pretty awful all in all, considering they get angry when you call them to see if they have heard back from an employer. As in they actually tell you you should have waited for so and so to call you. Um no. Thats not how this works, and if someone needing a job calling and making sure you know they want it is a problem I suggest a new career choice for you too.

Awful place, lost my timecard even though I turned it in on Sunday evening, now Im in a mess trying to get the copy so I dont lose my payday on Friday, thank god I quit and got a better paying job.

Do not ever go to this place for a job! Some hateful rude woman Manarka is her name will tell you everything about a job and then you take a drug test and you pass and then you never hear back. She has lied to me a few times about a job and she just pulls people along like they are her pet! She shouldnt even be working there she is rude and males things up to post on your resume so the clients will not hire you! She has another thing coming when I call the owner of Express and tell them everything! If you are looking for people to work for you DO NOT CHOOSE Express!! She will ruin your company with the incopitence of knowing how to do her job! She is a JOKE!

I thought Manarka was great. I worked through express for a short time and was offered a higher paying job with a completely different company . Hated to leave but when opportunity knocks you kick the door in for it to walk through.

Well the have a complete narcissist named Manarka running the place her last name changes daily because shes a nut job that does illegal things on a daily basis this fat slob is also liar and clearly doesnt know the rules of her job or the law at that, she likes to make up things and falsify negative notes on your resume and work history if she doesnt like you which by the way she doesnt like anyone just a heads up. At least i can say that not all Expresses are so poorly ran just this one and as far as finding anyone a job well shes to lazy to even send testing in a e-mail and likes to turn peoples words around on them and say that calling about finding a job is harassment... this place is a complete joke and i would advise everyone to choose a different express when in a pursuit to getting a job, find someone that actually cares about their job and finding you one, not some lazy overweight slug that runs a office based on her emotions which clearly need to be dealt with by a licensed psychiatrist in a mental institute. They actually have this crazy person that brags about beating people up and breaks up with here boyfriend every other day running this business.... What a JOKE!!!!! Watch out for crazy Manarka

I personally had an amazing experience with Express Employment, as well as Manarka. She couldnt be a more wonderful person to work for. So for someone to go out of their way to disrespect her, and demean her is beyond me. I know for a fact that Manarka will go out of her way to find anyone the perfect job, or at least some way they can get their foot in the door. She will bend over backwards to work with anyone, especially if you are in a tight spot. In my opinion, I wouldnt take the opinion of some faceless horrible person just trying to ruin someones reputation. If you are interested in finding out how Express works, and how great Manarka and the other staff are, you should apply and find out for yourself.

Was filling out paper work and this young man went into the bathroom to take his drug test and 2 of the staff there thought it was funny that this young man had not filled out a paper about his taxes right and they were laughing about it (i have filled out many of those still dont understand them) so i decided these are not the kind of people i want to work for or with no matter how much i need a job so i just got up and left before they had a chance to make me their office joke of the hourGo to Accuforce in kingsport see Lisa Gibson there u will be treated with respect and not be the office joke
