I am so glad I found Ultimate Nail Care! This is the best nail experience I’ve had in Jersey City. The salon is kept clean, it is easy to make an appointment, and my manicure lasted much longer than it has in the past. Helen is personable and friendly. I will be a returning customer for a long time.

I love being spoiled by Helen! She provides the utmost care and conversation when you walk into her nail salon. She is by appointment only and gets booked rather quickly and since she’s alone, she diligently works but makes enough time for the individual she’s working on. Her business is a great small business to support in the midst of a global pandemic. Thank you Helen for making the past four years a good one.

We came, we saw, we got our hooves painted. My friend has been coming two Ultimate Nail Care for many moons, and treated me to a pedi. We were able to get stations together and chat it up, a request that sometimes cannot be accommodated at other spa locations.Helen, the owner, was warm and pleasant and my nail technician Daniela gave me by far the best pedicure experience Ive had in Jersey City. Her foot and leg massages were amazing, and Im usually a highly ticklish person who demures on being massaged during pedicures.The warm paraffin on my heels was a lovely addition to the experience. I dont think Ive had baby feet like this since...well, when I was a baby! I will be back for sure.

After almost a year got pampered by none other than Helen!!! She is amazing and even chose the color for me, which always confuses me everytime...Only by appointment and one-o-one session following all Covid precautions. Highly recommend her ❤️❤️❤️

They are the best nail salon, with great prices. I have moved to another city, and still come back here to get my nails done. My friend moved to Brooklyn and would take the subway and PATH to JC to come back and get her nails done. Awesome, love Helen the owner too!

LONG/DETAILED REVIEW: First time here. Small establishment but they have so many regulars; its so cute.Went Friday around 11:30am and there were only 2 people working. I have a feeling the manicurist was the owner. Did not have to wait long.They have decent selection of polishes - Essie and OPI. You can also do gel manicures, waxing, and other services.Got a regular mani-pedi for $32 ($10 mani, $22 pedi). They took care when attending to me but I felt like they may have rushed just a little when one of their regulars came in.Pros: decent price, friendly, not overly aggressive on cutting my cuticles, hot oil for you heels for pedicure and heated lotion after exfoliation.Meh: Nail polish bubbled on hands (might be heat/humidity today - 91 outside), would have like them to be a more aggressive on scrubbing the feet but that is my personal preferenceGeneral info: No appointments, walk-ins only. They accept credit card and tips on credit card. Pedicures for men is $27.

I’ve been once a year ago and was happy with my pedi but this time didn’t like it at all. Dead skin on my feet wasn’t removed completely and nail polish wasn’t layered nicely.

They are so friendly. Very welcoming environment.

I highly recommend this place! People are nice and the job they do is of great quality.

I had one very nice pedicure here, and one nightmare where the nail tech was too busy chatting with another customer to look at my toes as she nipped my skin multiple times. It was painful and the pedicure didnt look great.

Very friendly staff - great job on my nails

After reading the other reviews I decided to try this place. It was priced very well (mani, pedi, eyebrow wax, and upper lip wax all for only $42). Grace spa which I went to before charged 30 for just a pedi! The lady that did my waxing and nails was very sweet and fast. They also had tvs onto channels that were actually interesting which helped to make the time go by fast. This place is small but cozy. This will also be my regular nail salon!
