The facility and storage space is excellent. The rates are also very good. I had some billing issues which were promptly resolved by Samantha and Damian. Excellent customer service. A+ overall.

I moved items in storage to a new unit and had to purchase some additional materials and transfer my credit balance over to a new account and unit all on the same day. Damien helped me find a new storage unit at a lower rate, set me up with new boxes, and added some moisture absorbent to my unit to protect my clothes and coats. Great service!! 10/10

I love Public Storage, they are a complete life-saver! I have been a customer at the downtown Jersey City location for almost 3 years now. We have been renting space from Public Storage in Jersey City location for quite some time now. The space is very clean and well organized with super convenient access. Brian has been extremly helpful in answering our questions and concerns.

Clean, spacious storage that’s perfect for storing the furniture in my bedroom. Its also close to the light rail and also easily accessible by trucks/cars from the 1st street side. They sell storage boxes/packing paper/bubble wrap here for very low prices, so I would recommend buying from here rather than from your movers. The front desk staff is also enthusiastic and super helpful, loved working with them!

Worked with Brian at the Jersey City location to optimize our existing space. He was extremely helpful in finding a solution for us and getting us settled in a new space that is safe, clean, and extremely convenient.

We have four units around the US, all do well. This one is the cleanest, brightest most convenient. Very secure. Antonio I believe in particular has been super helpful, but most staff generally friendly, there to help. I can recommend with ease.

This is a very nice and clean storage facitility. Ive used them for over 3 years now. Gwen is extremely helpful and accommodating. If you are in Jersey City this is the best storage unit in town. I have looked elsewhere too and no other place compares. Prices have increased over the past few years but that is due to the demand of storage units as Jersey City grows in population. I highly recommend this place.

You MUST CANCEL IT or you will be charged $15 EXTRA per month.

The staff was extremely friendly and we quickly felt very comfortable. The facility looks really clean and well kept, which was a relief. Shout out to Damien, who took care of us! He provided excellent service by patiently walking us through all of our options. With his guidance, we ended up getting a much better deal than we anticipated when we originally walked in! We havent moved things into the storage space yet but feel like we picked the right place.

Ive rented space from this location since around the time it opened. Damien and the entire staff at 133 2nd Street are professional, courteous, and very helpful. The facility is clean and orderly. I needed a second unit and didnt have to think twice about where to go.

We were fondly greeted by Damien immediately and he was extremely helpful the whole time. We had an idea of the unit size we needed, but Damien reassured our decision taking the time to review how much space was necessary based off the items we planned to store. He then explained all the terms very clearly, showed us to our unit, and familiarized us with the layout, passcodes, and locks. Additionally it is rare to find a cart at other storage locations but here there was around 20 and all neatly located in the lobby by the elevators. Very convenient and Highly recommend!

I have been doing business with this location for the past 2 years. Went in today to transfer my smaller unit to a larger one. Smooth transaction with the help of LaToya. She explained all the steps and was professional, on point, and patient. She answered all our questions and made this experience less stressful for us. This facility is very clean and plentiful parking for loading and unloading.

The facility was so accommodating. I was stuck in traffic and really needed to drop off some items to my unit that day. I called and said I should be there right at closing. Damien and Antonio were kind enough to say they would give me a 10 minute grace period and even helped me place the items in my unit. Excellent service!

I want to write a thank you letter for the public storage in this location, and all the staffs, especially Damien. I missed one of my luggage by chance during my move out, and I didnt even aware of that. Then Damien called me, and verified with my identify, and told me that after they noticed the luggage, he searched carefully into the camera, and reached out to me. Public storage has kept my luggage until I pick it up. Damien is really life saver for me, coz almost all of my most important documents and expensive stuffs are inside that luggage. I would say the public storage people are very professional and very great people! Definitely strong recommended to all the people living nearby!

Due to the storms in March I had to change my reservation date and move in date on multiple occasions and the staff was always very accommodating and understanding. Today I finally made it down to the site, I took a tour of the facility, decided on my unit and walked out with keys. The process was seamless and efficient and luckily I happened to be there when someone was cancelling their unit and if anyone is hesitant about how difficult it will be to cancel, from what I say, it took less than 5 minutes for the person who walked in to cancel their unit. A very big thank you to Jordan who assisted me over the phone countless times and a very big thank you to Damien who followed up on my initial reservations and today for your excellent customer service, tour and answering all of my questions. The team is amazing!

Clean, secure, and surprisingly easy to get into and out of with a minivan. I love how efficient this place is for storing my extra stuff, and when I finally moved everything back out and went to close my unit Damien was extremely helpful and responsive. I know Ill be back when my apartment starts to get a little crowded again.

I put in a few holds online because I was new to Public Storage’s style of renting but I got a call the next day from the manager to get started with finishing my rental. I was able to ask some questions and get clarification about the difference in rates for the same unit and was able to confirm which one I would want the next day when I went in to see the final unit in person and finish up my paperwork. When I got to the facility, Damien was the person I worked with. He was incredibly helpful and had a wonderful positive demeanor and attitude. He answered my many questions about the facility and understood when I mentioned I wanted a unit that would be safe from any potential flooding that could occur (thanks climate change 😭). The paperwork was done quickly and he made sure that I understood everything and was very upfront about any of the extra charges that I would potentially be paying even with the promotional discounts that day. These were also mentioned over the phone when I spoke to Gwen the previous day but I really appreciated that I was told what I was paying for from the get-go and I didn’t feel like any of them were considered hidden or unnecessary. Thank you Damien for such a painless process!

Was here only for 1 month because of the $1 first month storage promotion. Great experience since I just moved into town and need some storage asap. Joey the guy was quick and thoughtful. He explained things clearly, recommended me the 5x10 on the first floor so no elevator needed. No hidden fees after I returned the unit within 1 month period. Make sure to bring your own lock if you dont want to pay additional. Would go here again next time I need a unit.

We then came back a second time that day, rushed to finish loading our furniture into the unit, and Gwen very kindly let us make one last trip up to our unit even though it had already reached 5 pm.The building itself is very clean, the garage + elevator provide very easy access, but overall, I would recommend this place for the customer service alone.
