Literal perfection. My new go to nail salon. They were so friendly and the service was amazing. The staff was very accommodating and the prices are fair. My sister in law and I wet and had a great time. They treated us so nice.

Make an appointment but still have a 15 to 20 minute wait. Then, from start to finish they spent 10 minutes. Nothing other than a VERY basic cut and trim. No wax, no rubbing your shoulders, no massaging your hands and up to your elbows. All of these listed things Im used to getting at Dallas nail salons for the same or a lesser price than what they charged me at $21.00. KC residents, is this the most you expect here? Your getting shorted then. Really feels like your on an assembly line where its how fast can we move you out and how little can we do for you. Disappointed in KC salons so far.

I brought my two young daughters in for pedicures and manicures (as well as a pedicure for myself). The technicians were kind and spent a good amount of time with each of the girls. Linda was my technician and she was out of this world. Fantastic leg massage during my deluxe pedicure! Very happy with the experience!

An absolutely amazing experience. My friend and I walked in on a Sunday around 1. I came in with a kind of different nail design and my tech (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name) absolutely KILLED it! They got busy while we were in the shop but we never felt rushed AT ALL. Both of the techs were very personable and took great care of us. I am so obsessed and we will be back.

They got me in same day for an eyebrow wax that i so so so badly needed. As i never have time off the medical industry is insane right now. !! She got rid of my big hairy caterpiller brows, and shaped them up beautifully!!! She did an A+ job, she gave me EXACTLY what i wanted ! I told her and she did it. My eyebrows grow very fast and its been hard to upkeep. Especially now a days. So Thank You Amy !! I will be back for you! One of my favorite nail places in Overland Park area! The staffs are super friendly and polite. They always try to help out no matter how busy they are. They also do a great job on pedi and mani. They spend great amount of time on each customer.

Dont waste your time making a reservation. Back in June we made a reservation for 6 pm for two pedicures. Around 6:30 pm, they started working on one of us. Both of the pedicures were very poor quality because they were closing and rushed through the whole process. We thought hey, maybe that was an off day, so we scheduled two more pedicures for 1 pm on a Wednesday. We waited 25 minutes and left. At that point, we didnt even have water to soak our feet in. We were on our lunch break, hence the reason we made an appointment. Unfortunately, our appointments didnt matter so we will not be supporting this business again. There are too many nail salons in the area to waste more time waiting.

Julie is my favorite!!! Very nice and does an amazing job. Also, Lea (I am not sure on spelling for her name), but she is very sweet and hard working too! Very welcoming environment and very clean and pretty inside. Also, they offer many different types of pedis and they are awesome! HOT STONE is the way to go!!! I went in last week after having several very good experiences. Unfortunately, last week I encountered a very rude woman when I requested a specific nail technician. I decided to call back and make an appointment to request the technician that I had originally wanted. When I went back in I was treated well by the technician that I had requested. Fast forward one week to today where I have made multiple attempts to call or message with no response. I dont know what else to think other than I have been blocked. The messages dont go through on messenger and the phone rings one time and then hangs up. Its hard to believe that even though I was willing to look past the incident that this may have happened. So disappointing. I will update if I am able to contact them in the future.Update... I was able to contact them on my husbands phone, so I guess I was blocked. I went in to have 3 additional broken nails fixed with Johnny, he was very kind and professional. Each time I have had a broken nail they have fixed it with no charge. This time they charged me $5/nail. I really like Johnny but Im not sure that is enough to go back for.

First time here and Julie did a great job with pedicure and full set acrylic! She was very gentle. I’ve been to other places where they really dig into your skin and rush through and are more careless. Everyone was very sweet and professional and I liked the atmosphere. Very pleasant experience compared to others I’ve been to. Highly recommend and I will be back!

The guy who did my daughters mani/pedi was great! The lady that did my gel nails was not. Lots of blemishes. Also got my eyebrows waxed and she got wax IN my hair! Now my hair is a tangled mess. But I never confront anyone so I just paid the $90 and moved on. Ugh 😩

I promised my four year old daughter I’d take her to get her nails done for the very first time if she quit her new nail biting habit. She did! And today was her special day. I especially would like to thank the kind and welcoming gentleman that provided the services. He was awesome! She was beyond happy and gave me the sweetest glance as I sat by her so proud. Pedicure was awesome, and the decor and atmosphere was very chill but chic. Definitely a place Id make my regular moving forward!

The facility is nice and pretty. However, my daughter and I both had classic pedicures and both left with cuts on our toes and continue to have open sores and bleeding from the harsh, excessive filing into our skin. I flinched several times and the tech apologized but kept filing into my skin. The polish was not as neatly applied as I would expect with a pedicure.

The name says it all AWESOME! I took my sister and my niece she is 4 and they were amazing with her. The prices are Awesome as well! Very classy and professional.

My daughter and I went for her first 5 year old pedicure. It was super awesome! She had her own little character chair (Elsa and Anna). They treated her just like her mama. Love it and will be back!

My first time visit was not good. They removed my acrylics and did my pedicure at the same time which was very uncomfortable and stressful because I had to soak my fingers in an open bowl of acetone which could have very easily spilled on me if I was not careful. Then the guy who put strengthening polish on me, only put one coat of polish and left without saying a word to me so I had to get up and find someone to check me out on my own. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

OMG! First of all, I have been looking for a nail salon that I would return to and not just keep looking for something better because the experience was eh. This is the place I have been searching for. John, my nail tech, was absolutely incredible. I will definitely be going back to see him. I am going to set up my appt for my daughters bday since they do princess mani and pedi too. Cant wait.

Linh very protective about my diabetes and she did not hurt me at all except for once on my pinky and she apologized profusely for that. I need the table are very nice and courteous and professional. John did my daughters nails and he was very professional very courteous everybody there is great. We will definitely get our nails done here more often.

I just moved to Olathe and found them on the internet. Had great reviews, so I thought I would try them. Absolutely the BEST nail experience I’ve ever had. Julie was very detailed and for the first time I left with NO knicks around my cuticles!!! My nails look AMAZING, the best service I have ever received. I will be returning for future services and bringing my daughters as well.

My charcoal deluxe pedi and my daughter’s cucumber signature pedi were amazing!! The massages were so relaxing and our legs still smell good hours later!! Johnny did my acrylic fill with regular polish and my nails look like dip. So perfect!! My daughter got dip on her nails and she is extremely happy with how thorough Ken was!! She says it’s the best dip mani she’s ever gotten!! Johnny has def won my business!!

I would do nails with one guy named Johnny, usually a very nice guy, I always leave him tips, but the last time I told him I was not happy with the nails he did for me, he did a bad job. The place blocked me and I did not know and when my husband called to make an appointment they called him under my name and after they realized it was me they called him to cancel the appointment and did not let me make another appointment with excuses and only then my husband realized they blocked me, really disrespectful and insulting behavior.

This place really is AWESOME! I visited back in September for a bridal shower and their team took great care of us & did a fantastic job on our manis and pedis. Great service. I had my nails wrapped to remove gel and they gave me a stylus to be able to use my phone. Pedi was extra clean and he went out of his way to find the polish color for toes to match my gel on hands. Beautiful place, very trendy, glamorous and organized. Very clean. They also have the cutest pedicure chairs for little girls! I found my new nails and wax home. 😆💅

I received a deluxe collagen pedicure today and it was one of the best pedicures I have ever had! The staff were so nice and their work was impeccable! The salon is very clean and they are taking great measure to keep everything clean and safe during the pandemic while still providing excellent service. I will definitely be making this my new go-to salon!

Owner’s lied & said this review was fake and flagged it lol. I was just there recently. I have Very bad service and high prices!! The male owner quoted me one price over the phone so I made an appointment and once I got there the same day they changed the price and made it higher. The owner told me then once I was there he can change the prices any time he wants!! Greedy owners I feel like. I told him but before I even made the appointment you told me over the phone a different price. That’s wrong I told him. He didn’t seem to care.Overpriced you can find a better place. Went to the nailery instead down the street and they had much better service and prices. Don’t waste your time or money 💵 here. Now I see why there weren’t any customers once I got there. Only one customer they had once I got there. There were 3 nail techs just hanging out and only one nail tech “the old lady owner” 👵 doing nails. The male and female owner then denied me after I finally gave in and told them I’ll just pay more they were asking but that isn’t a way to run a business and treat your customers. Lol I will Never go back there ever in life!! I feel sorry for the workers who have to work with her.Went to Nailery instead and they did an Amazing job for $15 cheaper they only charged $43 for gel nails with hologram and a manicure 💅🥰 while This place tried to charge me $45 with just a gel polish change and hologram on top. 🤦‍♀️👎🏼And don’t worry you can flag this again and I’ll just go on all the other nail salon reviews around by you and make sure they ALL know about your business and salon and how you run yours & how you treat your customers. 😊✌🏼😉👍🏼

My first experience was great and the reason why I wanted to come back. Second experience will be my last! They upped the charge during my appointment even though it was the same style as before, and more than what was quoted over the phone when setting the appointment. The woman claims she doesn’t remember me, and the manager Steve kept Calling me a liar. I spend a lot of money on nails an pedis I will never support or spend a dime with Awesome Nails! To call your customer a liar is unacceptable Money is never a issue, it’s up charging your so called client for nothing that the principal. The Manager stated they are the most expensive in town, so enjoy their type of customer service, bc they don’t care or have integrity!

I have been to several nail salons in the KC area and Awesome Nails & Wax is without a doubt the best quality and service I have experienced. The nail services take a little longer than usual, but it is most defintely worth it. They make sure your previous dip is completely soaked and removed (Ive been to some where they dont make sure of this), they do not cut corners on the steps, and my nails last for up to a month! I have also never once experienced water damage. I cannot say enough good things about this salon!!!! amazing service, quality, and price.

I made a wrong turn in the parking lot and am so glad I did! The newly opened nail salon is decorated very beautifully. The chairs are comfortable and massage options are endless. Amy greeted me and was super sweet. I decided on a deluxe pedicure and a signature manicure. Ghita (sorry if spelling is wrong) she did my pedicure and the massaging was fantastic! Amy finished me with my manicure and they both paid close attention to cuticle detail which I appreciate. The options they have for lotions is great and although I personally don’t mind the acetone smell they have a air filtration system that makes the salon smell fresh. Also, as I was sitting there I observed how Penny was thoroughly cleaning the pedicure stations and I appreciated that I was able to witness what detail she took in making sure to clean well. Sorry for the long post, I usually don’t post reviews, but this was one instance I felt needed recognition.

Went here for the first time while my sister was in town. Sonny and Nancy were great! We came late and staff was very patient and did not rush us or rush to get our nails done. They were very thorough. I appreciate this very much. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. The interior is beautiful, spacious, and clean!

This salon provides the very best service in Johnson County! Believe me, I have tried several salons! I have a very busy travel schedule and live outside of the Kansas City area. I regularly drive through the Olathe area on my way to the airport for business travel. I try to make my nail appointments ahead of time but that cant always happen, so I fit it in when I can. Tom @Awesome Nails came in on his day off to provide me with a fill of my acrylic nails. I was not expecting that! I got the Awesome Pedicure and it was. Sunny was the best. I wish I can give more stars. He did every step to perfection. And the atmosphere was great. Everyone was nice. When I visit KC again I will definitely be back.

The location is convenient. Prompt service and friendly people. My daughter and I had dip manicures. Daughter was cut twice at the cuticle, my finger tip was pinched, but would have been cut if the scissors were sharp. Even that was okay, but 3 days later, one of my nails has just came off and my daughters nails are cracking. Will not retur . ☹

The lady that did my nails took 1 hour and 45 minutes to do a full set with gel. That’s a bit ridiculous. I went to awesome nails because my nail salon is still closed due to covid-19. I will not be returning. My nail tech asked how I wanted my nails shaped, AFTER shaping them she decided to tell me the coffin shape I requested was $5 more. She told me she could do marble on my nails and literally just drew random lines all over my nails and it looked awful. DON’T SAY YOU CAN DO SOMETHING IF YOU OBVIOUSLY CAN NOT. Overall ended up paying $65 for a full set that took 2 hours and was not anything special at all. Would have cost me $50 at my normal salon.

Tom did my nails last week. He did such a fantastic job. For sure going back to see him once my nails grow out! Love this place!

A sister of mine (who traveled from far) found and first informed me of this salon 2 months ago. She absolutely loves Amy and I now know why.As of yesterday, that makes for 3 visits. I would have placed a review sooner but wanted to ensure their would be consistency. I can genuinely say (given my 3 different experiences) Ive been afforded the pleasure of a fantastic foot/leg massage and pedicure by Sonny, a complete new set and fill by Amy and just yesterday a beautiful color change and fill suggested by Tommy. All of them truly do love what they do and it is definitely evident in their craftmanship.I cant get enough of Amys adorably stylish clean salon coupled with caring, skillful and hospitable nail technicians.Looking forward to my next experience.

I recently moved to KS and I tried Awesome nails and loved their services. This is my second time here and won’t be the last. For those who likes powder dipping nail this is the place to go! They have the biggest color collection.
