Lawn and Shrub Service- I had been a customer of Bugout for 12 years, yesterday I fired them. After years of pulling weeds, calling them to come back and kill the weeds (which never seemed to die) being told the only way to get rid of crabgrass was to pull it (so I did) not really ever being satisfied with my grass though I worked very hard at maintaining it. I had finally had enough and called the company of a neighbor who always seems to have great weed free grass. They came out and in 15 minutes gave me more advice and help then Bugout had in all of these years. Here is the kicker too, I called and no one answered after waiting and waiting. Asked for a call back, they left a message. I called back with a very pointed voicemail about the fact that I was firing them after sending an email to the same effect. All of this AND no one can be bothered to even call back to confirm we are keeping them for termites.

I had a different pest control service previously because they were a bit better priced. In a year, with visits sometimes 2 weeks apart, that other service couldn’t solve my issue. Bug Out came and took care of it in just one month. They were also calling me and following up on their work and its success, something the other company never did. Worth every penny!!

Their pest control just works. I don’t have to do anything special to prevent bugs because the treatment that Bug Out provides is truly effective. Changing my review from 5 stars to 2. They were nice and eager to get my business. Now that I have a service contract, things arent good. I called twice to see when my next appointment would be, I was told August. I paid my August statement and waited. 2 weeks into the month, NO ONE CALLED to schedule my pest control visit. Whats worse. Once I got someone on the I phone, explained my concerns; there wasnt any type of apology or empathy. It was a straight forward when do you want them to come out? After this contract is up, I will not be renewing. Awful service. Brittany is still great.

They are very professional and knowledgeable. They give reports after they leave that say what they did that are very useful information to know.

My mother in law has been trying to cancel her service since January, 2020. To NO avail. Now that shes gone, the family continues to try to cancel the service .. BUT they continue to call to reschedule. Unbelievable !!!!!!

Tech Mike arrived on time, was very considerate of my home and pets. Mike was friendly and very thorough in his inspection and application of pest treatment.

We wanted to get our house inspected for termites because I was worried when my older homes floors started squeaking. I called one company and they couldnt get anyone out here for over a week. Then I called Bug Out on Arlington Expressway and they made our appointment for 2 days later (on a Saturday morning). The technician came promptly at the scheduled time and wore mask and gloves for our protection (Covid-19). He did a thorough inspection and gave me the good news that there were no signs of termites or wood eating ants. He was especially polite and professional during his visit and I would recommend this company as providing high quality service!

If I can give 0 stars, I would. This place is a lie, paid 149 to start my service and it was to worst mistake I made in a very long time.They are all a lie, they came out one time and sprayed my yard with what look and smelled like garlic and onion chopped up very small for ants and masqitosAnd i got so much worse i had to go to home depot and buy my own ant killer to get rid of what they made worst. I usually dont give out my card number to anyone but in order to start the service I gave my card info to the person that came out and sign a piece of paper to start the service, that they didnt give me a copy of. And they did not inform me that It could not be canceled if I was not satisfied with there services. So the next day my card gets charged 149 fifteen times so I can only think that it was one of there employees that took my card infoSo i called and got a new card and I didnt update it with them. I figured they only came out one time I didnt have to deal with them anymore, them I started getting these bills in the mail from them. So I called to tell them that I was no longer interested there services, they tell me your in a contract that is not cancelable and I have to pay almost 400 to get out of it, and they lied to me over the phone saying they came out twice to do service but that not true, they came out one time the first time when i was there and never again after that because my wife is home all the time and if someone came out to my house i would know and i have big pit bull in the back yard that wouldnt allow anyone to walk my back yard.

I like the emailed invoices and communication. Very professional staff and easy to work with regarding services, payments, etc. Highly recommended.

Bugout lawn service is great. My next door neighbor switched to them and is happy also. Very responsive and always know what the problem is and how to fix it. St Augustine grass requires constant attention.

Oscar was so busy, but called to let me know he would be by later to treat our yard. Bugout was short of help that day. He called later to reschedule. Extenuating circumstances caused me not to be able to reschedule to the following week. Oscar decided to come by and treat our yard the following day on Ssturday. He went above and beyond to help the customer.

My regular technician Tim does a great job keeping my home pest free. I appreciate the flexibility of Foster as he worked with me to perform treatment while my home was having construction work done.

Ive used Bugout for 10 years. They have responded to service calls for bees, moles, and spiders. This last monthly visit I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my technician took time to pick up trash from a windblown trashcan in my yard. I came home to no bugs, and no trash in my yard. Really great service!

I have been using your services since 2008. In my experience, you are the ONLY company that uses a product that is 100% effective. Other companies I have tried before finding Bug Out charged every time they came out and STILL were unable to get rid of certain bugs. You charge us for quarterly treatments and if it doesnt take or other bugs decide to move in afterwords (which is SUPER rare, as in I think its only happened 4 times in 11 years), you come back out at no charge and take care of the situation. Youre company is honest, professional, you have the best product around, every employee whether behind the desk or out in the field has excellent product knowledge and everyone speaks with professionalism & kindness no matter what the situation.

Im paying for inside pest control for spiders and outside mosquito control and i honestly feel like im wasting money because theres no real effective spider prevention, i still have to kill them( sticky traps and spray method i was previously using myself) and i think the mosquitoes eat whatever theyre spraying so, ill be ending my contract very soon because i dont have money to waste. Theyre very prompt and nice thats why i gave them 2 stars

Was told by sales guy that we could have the bees we have exterminated due to the fact we had already had a master bee keeper come out and say he was not able to get the queen. We paid 250 dollars to exterminate the bees and after paying and having them waste our time multiple times they took the money paid and quit coming. Dont get me wrong the guy we had come out was very nice, however they did not do what was promised. I will be contacting them to either refund my money or do the job that i paid them to do weeks ago.

The technicians that come out for lawn & pest control are always very personable & professional. They take a minute to ask how things are going, how was our New Years and then ask if we have anything specific they need to check while they are here. Before leaving they make sure we know that if we an ANY issue or concern to call them so they can address it.

One of the worst companies to treat my lawn. This company took over our Acct from our previous lawn company. Since then, my lawn looks terrible. Strong believe they are using the worst quality of products. Low quality product, it kills nothing. Tech doesn’t pay attention to anything as he sprayed. He doesn’t accurately report the condition of lawn therefore my lawn is not being treated properly to prevent infestation.Will not recommend,sadly some of my neighbors hired them and they are having the same issues.

This has to be the worst experience I had for my lawn. They started servicing our yard in July 2018. The grass had become a little greener in the first month but then from there on out was just down hill. My grass seemed to be getting a lot of dead spots in random places, which when asked they said was a fungus and not chinch bugs which they would double down the spray. After a month or so more no improvement and seemed to never see guy come spray yard. finally in October had my wife ask tech she saw at our house whats going on. The tech advised he apologizes as the previous tech was not servicing our yard and our yard is completely unacceptable. So basically I have been paying monthly for my yard to not be serviced. You would think I would then hopefully start seeing some improvements, but nope still have more new fungus spots spreading. I write Bug Out Services about the on going issues and at this point to cancel my service. Their response was simply no problem we will cancel your service with absolutely no remorse for the poor workmanship of their services. I was basically paying for almost 6 months for nothing.

When we moved to Florida 3 years ago we knew bugs would be an issue...we just didnt realize how big of an issue! I highly recommend Bug Out. Plus the people on the phone at the office are always so nice. As long as we live in Florida I will use Bug Out.

***Update: Refund check was issued after escalating to their Marketing Director. 2 months and 1 week later after canceling service.Bugout has a decent service, however after we moved and selected a new service for our lawn we have not been able to get the remainder of our prepaid year refunded. It has been 2 months, and hundreds of dollars are still sitting in their hands. Multiple calls with management have had no results. Management needs to communicate better with their customers, instead of dropping the ball in every aspect of returning money owed to the customer.

We have used Bug Out for almost thirty years for house pest control. Our second irrigation system is about three years old and we contacted Bug Out for getting a service contract on the system.The two young men who showed up (Brad and Tanner) were quite impressive. They checked every sprinkler head, adjusted/assessed them as needed, change out a few for heads which were better suited to the need. They also assessed the water times for each zone based on the sprinkler head(s), size, flow rate, the seasonal adjust and area covered.We are very pleased with this, and just wish we had contacted Bug Out for irrigation services years ago.

I was unable to go in my backyard due to an underground yellow jacket nest. My husband, myself and my dog had been stung! I called Bug Out after checking with other companies. There price was outstanding and they were out here the next day. A crew of 4 awesome guys just decimated my yellow jackets and were total professionals. I have signed up for continued pest control.
