I have a rodent and pest problem and after contacting several companies I decided to go with Scott from Florida pest control. He was professional, knowledgeable, and above all a great guy who knows his stuff. If you have a pest or rodent problem call Florida pest control and ask for Scott, he gets it done the right way the first time, no BS. As long as I live in Jacksonville I will be calling Scott to handle any problem or issue I have. Other pest control complies tried to up-sell me on products I did not need. Scott was to the point and his optimism is contagious, charged me for what I needed and didn’t try to scam me. Whenever I call them, they respond quickly. I started using them a year ago and so far I like them alot. I havent had any problems that theyre not able to help with. The best way to learn about them is to call and ask questions. I did that and they politely answered all of my questions without me feeling rushed. I usually have the same tech come onto the property early. Thats comforting also.

FLORIDA PEST CONTROL IS WONDERFUL. We recently bought a new home and inherited a lawn that was in very bad shape. They have diligently gotten our lawn into shape. It is looking wonderful. They even give me suggestions on what we can do to make it better and the Manager even came out to take a look.

Ty seemed great when he came to give an initial quote and the price was good! I scheduled my first quarterly service and kept my baby up waiting the 4 hour window for someone to come. After the window was up I went outside and there was a note that I had missed them—they absolutely didn’t knock on the door (I have a dog that absolutely loses his mind if someone even touches the front door), much less call and let me know they were on the way or there. I called the office to schedule a new time and told them what happened and they didn’t seem concerned. I never got a call back about rescheduling another service. They don’t really seem to want business.

Drivers are very very dangerous put my family in danger early in the morning ..... if they do service like they drive I would not recommend ever using them

My experience has been really good, but strange. They have only charged me after the work was done and the work was done correctly. But now they have sent 3 different guys to my house for my scheduled maintenance, and yet there was no maintenance scheduled. :( The guys were always very confused. It sounds like management needs to be overhauled after these experiences and reading others reviews.

I was actually at Florida pest control for an interview and I have to say the people there make the place feel like a family. While I am biased because I want a job I do have to say that this is one of the nicer places Ive been to interview and all around great company.

I have used Florida Pest Control in each house Ive owned since 1986 and thought they were great but the last few years and this year in particular am not happy with them at all. Overpriced, unprofessional and dont stand by their work. Last spring signed up for their 3 visits a year service in addition to termite bond in which they told me would kill ants. Called them out for ants and they informed me ants not covered so they counted that a a visit! Noticed that they didnt do a good job but let it slide. After having second pest control visit (which I guess they consider 3rd) a couple weeks ago because I saw bugs, I saw another big roach and called office 9/19 and was told supervisor would call. It is now 6:00 pm on 9/20 with not a word. Going to pick up some Home Defense and do my own pest control and when spring roles around again will definitely not pay them to renew termite bond. Avoid this company. Get some Home Defense or any other pest control company.Update: they sent a tech named Joe who was extremely nice and tried to do a good job which I think he should be commended for, but again this morning, 3 days later, I saw another roach! Looked perfectly healthy running around my kitchen!! Apparently its the spray they use or the technique that just does not work!

Poorest customer experience and complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Tried monthly to get them to stop killing my lawn and assign me a technician who knew what he was doing. Never ended weed problem, couldnt address moles and required me to replace large areas of my lawn. Field manager told me my grass was dormant even though I showed him the weeds, mole trails and 5 different kinds of weed types growing after 8 months of treatment.

Originally was impressed, but went downhill quickly. Unprofessional lawn service men. Seemed aggravated to have to do the work.Pest control is as any others except they dont really care to enter the house. I understand its more important to treat the exterior, but should always ask if additional treatment is needed.

Did a horrible job on the annual termite inspection, so area manager said hed send someone out today to reinspect. Person never showed up or called me. If this is reflective of their care of customers, I hope we never have termite damage that we have to have them fix! The house probably will fall down around their promises while we wait.

Slow to Respond But Quick To Call When Contract Expiring. Never before have I had so many weeds in my St Augustine grass in Clay County. It wasnt until I went to Pats Nursery to ask what to do about the weed problem and they advised what I should do - so what was I getting when I paid Florida Pest Control West to spray, fertilize, etc, but ended up buying the chemicals and applying myself to get results? Same with the bugs inside the house. Never have I had a pest control company come out (4 days after I was told theyd be here) to get rid of Ear Wigs and have ants show up in the locations they sprayed. WTHeck!!! Guys are all friendly and professional, but I think the tanks are full of weed seed for lawn service and the tanks for the bugs are full of sugar water - what else could it be? Back to the drawing board. Should have just stuck to the company I had before I left FL for a while. Calling them Monday.

We had a man come out and he sold us a Smart choice package for a Lawn spider problem. We explained to him what was going on and he said this was what we needed. It did NOT help at all. And when I called to talk to the manager at the office he was rude and condescending. I Do NOT recommend this company. Their products dont work and the service is bad. Liars!!!

Crooks! Do not use! I paid around $4,000 for termite tenting. Underwent a full shut down of my business for days, made expensive, extensive preparations and they simply failed to show up and do the work! When asked for proof of insurance, they hid like cockroaches! When confronted, the manager out and out lied and then the same manager admitted he had no idea why the subcontractor they hired to do THEIR job did not just do the work! If they will do this to a law firm, what will they do to you?!Ps Ty Strong who gave 5 stars works for the company. He was the very nice seeming salesman who sold me the job.

How hard is it to contact your office and ask someone to go out and see a lawn? Apparently VERY hard. Ill take my yellow lawn and dollars and find someone else that will take care of the customer.

When we were painting our house we found termites. Called a company with a very similar name and was charged $400 for someone to come spray. A week later we find more termites and they want to charge me again! Florida Pest Control offers a warranty and cost less

Just had them for a year ! Terrible ! First they going to tell you they will come out every month if you pay then every 3 months ! Please dont believe them! They just charged me my last payment and the last time they came was in may! Not good company! Not good costumer service ! Give your home a favor stay away from them

I hate being charged for a service that didnt happen. The superior I talked to was really rude and didnt give me a changes to speak.
