I was called yesterday by a recruiter regarding a HR position. We spoke for 10 minutes and was passed on to the account manager reviewing my qualifications and telling me more about the employer. After the 37 minute phone call, I was asked to submit my updated resume and 2 professional references which I complied to.I called back today to see if their client was interested in setting up an interview which the recruiter responded to, The account manager has reached out to the client but has yet to return his call.I told the recruiter, thats fine but I really do hope they let me know their interest in interviewing me sooner rather later as I just had an interview with another employer and would really like to weigh my options.To my dismay, she responded, I need to know exactly who the employer you interviewed with before I can submit your resume with our client as it could be a conflict of interest. To which I replied, “I can assure you this employer isnt one of your clients.Can someone at Insight Global please enlighten me as to how recruitment tactics have gotten this dirty or ugly?Yes, you’re satisfying your client’s need by sourcing qualified resumes and reached out to sell me the job and to ask for my permission to forward to your client. But do realize this; job seekers have a need as well to find the “right” employer and place of employment as soon as possible. And I for one refuse to give in to your lame tactics just so you can undercut my employment opportunity with other employers just so you acquire business leads.If thats how low you would go to get business from your clients; then I dont ever want to be associated with Insight Global.You have to remember, you arent just competing with other talent acquisition firms but you also have to compete with job seekers. After all, you may run into one of us trying to solicit our business and you may just very well fall flat on your face.

This is my first time dealing with insight global staffing and I have to say my experience was awesome from the time I arrived to landing a position. Christine Wassaf is really a very nice and knowledgeable person and is an asset to the company.

Upon arrival for my first in person interview with Insight Global, I noticed the set up of the office was eye catching and very nouveau . The interviewer was very professional, thorough and engaging. I wasnt accepted for the first job but the recruiters at Insight are extremely helpful in finding opportunities. Before I interviewed yesterday, my recruiter showed up on time as he said he would and brought extra resumes for my interview. The Insight recruiters and reps are thorough in getting you prepared for the interview. I would have to rate my experience in dealing with Insight as a perfect 10.
