Alethias Bridal is a blessing to this city! I called several other alterations places first to get rough prices estimates, and she was BY FAR the most warm, kindly, and reasonably priced person I spoke with. She was a complete pleasure share this experience with!As a plus sized bride, Ive had to deal with a bit of nonsense previously while I was doing my dress shopping in other places (some store folks being rude and another place outright lying over the phone about having my size to get me in the shop). My experiences with Alethia were all amazing and she made me feel beautiful.Her work was absolutely stunning and she did an amazing job on mine and my mothers dresses. :)

They were amazing! Sweet couple and really helped me find my dress. I went in thinking I was going to rent a dress but I bought it. She did all my alteration at a great price. She had me come back two weeks later and it was perfect! I wish I would’ve started here first.

Ms. Aletha was very nice with alternating a bridal dress for my sister’s wedding. I was short on time and needed a dressed hemmed and taken in on short notice. She was nice enough to do the work in one day. I really appreciated it, and my dress looked great for the wedding. I was also able to get my dressed steamed there as well which saved me a ton of time.

This place is wonderful! The prices are decent. And she does gorgeous work. She made my girls flower girl dresses exactly like I asked and was very quick with it. If and when I ever need anything else altered I will definitely go to her. Her and her husband are also so nice and accommodating. The only day I could pick up the dresses, they stayed late just to help me out. Very sweet.

Sweet couple, I went to rent in December but I got a great deal on actually buying the perfect wedding dress for me. Best place in Jacksonville! My fiancee (now wife) and I went in the day before we needed a tux and wedding dress. We were frustrated with the treatment and selection from Davids Bridal and other local Bridal stores. Alethias was our only hope! We were treated like family. We got exactly what we wanted within a day! My bride looked beautiful and felt like a princess.I recommend Alethias to anyone!

I needed my dress altered within a few days for a friends wedding! I called a couple alterations places and they declined because too short of notice. But I called here and the gentleman who answered the phone said it was no problem at all. Ms Alethia was able to get it done right on time and it fit like a glove!!! I was looking for a wedding gown that was not to expensive since I would only be wearing it once and have no daughters to pass the dress down to one of my associates suggested I rent a gown I searched the internet and came across Alethias Bridal Rental & Alterations I called and briefly asked her a few questions about rental she was so nice over the phone so I went over to her shop and was very pleased at the friendliness warmth and professionalism she and her husband displayed I would definitely recommend them for someone getting married and looking for a personal touch and people who really show they care that your day is made special. I took my wedding dress here to get shortened and to add a corset back. Alethia did an AMAZING job. It looks so perfect, was finished in a timely manner, and the price was unbeatable. I highly recommend her for any alterations, my dress was very detailed and had many layers and she did it with no problem.

I had a great experience with Alethia. I took a cap sleeve heavily beaded gown to her and I needed some serious alterations done. I wanted her to add some pleated/puffed sleeves, line the illusion neckline, hem it and add some barely visible gathers for a slimming effect. I needed all of this done in a few days. Alethia delivered! In 5 days she had finished everything, done a beautiful job and all of it with such a pleasant, friendly and accommodating demeanor. I will definitely be coming to her in the future when I want to put some more creative touches onto outfits, or need something done quickly and very well. She was also the only person who could do the detail work around the beading. Seriously, go to her, she knows what shes doing and gives good advice too. Thank you!

Excellent work and easy to work with.

Firstly Id like to say Alethia and her husband are extremely professional and down to earth. They may have a successful business but they always put God first and never allow that success to not keep them grounded. Extremely happy and proud of them, now lets get to the review. I took about 40 articles of clothing to them consisting of button downs pants t shirts sweaters and polos. They all needed a range of things done from tailoring them to fit me like a glove to some long sleeves being converted to short sleeves. She not only was reasonable with the time frames she also was reasonable on the pricing based on everything I brought in at one time. She was dang near perfect the first time on everything she did. It was only one or two out of the 40 that she had to redo to make sure the fit was perfect on me. Then when it was all said and done I had an emergency photoshoot I had to do and I needed a red suit done same day. She knocked it out same day vest, jacket and pants for a decent price. Ill attach that picture below to show the suit. Thanks again and Ill be shopping with you guys again soon.

They suck and will rip you off tell you one thing and then its totally opposite I will never do bness here again and wont recommend anyone to do bness there put money down for a dress and then when you decide you dont want it they dont give you a refund back or a percentage. You can buy a new dress cheaper and prettier then what they rent them out for at least I did. Even if it took a hundred dollar loss. Waste my time w them

Alethia’s is just simply the best place in Florida to shop for your wedding dress or tux.My now husband and I had one day to pick out my dress and his tux. I was so frustrated with the treatment of other stores and the limited selection they offered. I was emotionally drained and sad my mom wasn’t able to attend. Alethia treated me like family, and without her knowing, I felt like I had my mom with me while I was shopping for the most important day of my life. Alethia put me at ease and didn’t judge me for any late wedding preparations. Her and her husband were truly a Godsend.We left their Bridal store knowing I had the dress of my dreams, and a tux that made my husband very handsome.I had so many compliments of how beautiful I was, how stunning my dress was. If I could give this a million stars I would. A beautiful and Godly couple own and run this business. They have beautiful dresses, and Mrs. Alethia is so talented that she can practically alter anything. Ive seen dresses she has made and added to. I walked in as a stranger and my wedding party and I were treated as family. While there, a lady and her mother came in with a horrible attitude and even spoke badly about Mrs. Alethia and her services. Not only can I assure you they were crazy, but they had a entitled complex that was not only demanding but condescending. It amazed me that Mrs. Alethia and her husband continued giving superior customer service to them, and responded with gentleness and love. There are few people like them left in this world and nothing makes me more proud than supporting this business.

I rented my dress at Aletthia Bridal rental and I got it at a great price 😊 And my experience was very pleasant and they are the only one you should go to for renting any item at a good price.

The best prom/bridal/alteration business in Jacksonville, FL.

Pros: Ms. Alethia Bridal has a decent collection of evening gowns for rent and purchase. My wife and I were able to find a nice dress for the purchase price of $160+$40 for the Hem. Approx. $200. Definite plus on the Price!!!Cons: When we picked up the dress we found that the threading on the hem was extremely uneven, which is ironic because Mrs. Alethia had previously explained how she had over 40 years of alteration experience. I wondered how in the world was this even possible. Additionally, when we asked Ms. Alethia for the left over fabric from our dress she stated that she gave it away to a previous customer, now this was very alarming to us because the dress that we purchased was a floral dress with a very unique design and in my opinion was very unprofessional to not atleast offer that fabric to us being that we had already purchased the dress prior to the hemming. The cleanliness of the dressing room was not up to par they need a deep carpet cleaning and the store was over crowded with dresses which gave the store a very crowded and cluttered feel.

OMG. i must say i came across Alethias bridal rental on google. i was excited but skeptical because I had a dress but Nordstorm didnt help with my decision to wear it on my special day. I made my way to Alethias shop and found a gorgeous white dress 5 days before my day. It was LAST MINUTE and yet it was perfect for my ideal wedding that took place on 10.02.2021. For any bride to be. please please check them out. you will not be upset. I mean why buy a dress you only wear one time when you can rent and save time from the stress as well as the cost.
