We love this apartment complex in a great location and great view from the pool. My son loves kid’s friendly pool and gets his energy out when he needs to. We have seen quite a lot of children at the pool, so my son can socialize other kids, too. Seeing my child is enjoying his living environment is a big relief as parents.Staffs are always welcoming and so attentive to listen to what’s going on in our life. Thank you for all the staff, including maintenance staff. Our comfortable life is all thanks to you guys.

We moved here about 3 months ago. Though the property is beautiful with a beautiful view. But this week, my bike was stolen along with my husbands from the garage on the first floor. The thief was caught on the camera, pulled in with his black car, cut off the locks and then came back 3 hours later with a female and rode off on the bikes. This happened on August 3rd. The management was made aware August 4th and police was notified and management saw all the videos of this happening. But I have yet to see an email going out to residents, letting them know of this theft to warn other residents. Do not leave your bikes or any other valuables anywhere around this property. It will get stolen! I wish this property was more secure, with perhaps more cameras in the garage, and a gated/secure garage possibly. Obviously it happens too often for management to even care to let other residents know.

Raven did a outstanding job showing me around and was so polite even when I was asking her question after question. She sold me on renting at RiverVue.Ravens customer service was great.

DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS! If you value your privacy at all, this is NOT the apartment complex for you. They gave out a notice of a 2 week schedule they would be entering our homes. Strangers let themselves into my apartment a WEEK earlier than they were supposed to be in my building. This has now been extended to include “annual inspections” over an additional 3 days. And anyone can be chosen at random. And they also expect everyone to cage their animals over the next 3 days so they can come in and “inspect” our entire apartment. And if it’s “inconvenient” for us to have our homes invaded over a 2 week period..their solution is just to leave your apartment and go use the WiFi somewhere else. Are you kidding me? Do you realize this is a home. You can’t treat people this way. I’ve reached out to management and they won’t even respond. I’m looking forward for my lease to end so I can feel safe in my own home again.

My girlfriend and I just moved to Rivervue yesterday and are loving it! I am just writing this to express how grateful we are for Daniels help along the way. He has been extremely fast to respond to our every concern with reassurance and helpful information even during days that he is off. After moving in late last night, we had a concern with the showers and I sent him an email with the expectation of getting a response in the morning or possibly even on Monday. However, to our surprise we received a solution to our problem from him within a couple hours during a time when your office was closed! I just wanted to let you know what an invaluable asset he is to your team and how happy we are to have him as our leasing consultant.I wanted to add that the maintenance guy Kato is awesome. Very fast and good at what he does.

Great place with beautiful river views. The staff is so attentive and helpful. The building is always clean and smells fresh. The amenities are wonderful. Walk in pool, longe with pool table, doggy park, doggy spa, gym, nice neighbors... Loving it!

Place is great, but what really holds it together is the staff. Marcos is a great guy and will help resolve issues if any come up. Great place to live!!

I recently moved in a few months ago and am impressed with all aspects of my living. I have a beautiful view from the tower of the river and get to enjoy amenities such as the pool, gym, grilling area, residents lounge, etc. The management team is impressive and are always available for their residents. Specifically, Andrea Dickerson has been so helpful and friendly from the start. I knew it was the place for me as soon as I met with her on my tour and she showed me every single option that I asked for. She has gone above and beyond and makes living at RiverVUE a pleasure.

I love living at RiverVue. The staff is friendly and always willing to help when I have questions or need something for my unit. Although the rent is high, it is worth it for the view and community. I highly recommend checking out this beautiful complex!

I have lived here for past 2-3 months and absolutely love it. the view from my balcony is gorgeous- makes getting up for the sunrise worth it. staff are friendly and helpful. i am a traveling nurse i have lived in many cities and communities and have learned that you get exactly what you pay for. so sure you can save a little money and find something cheaper but i had shopped around before deciding on rivervue and so glad i made the choice to live here. excellent location, beautiful apartments, safe, and above all else- the view from my balcony alone is worth it. i am a very satisfied tenant.

Honestly, the view and location is great, but those are the two only positives of this horrible apartment complex. Management is nice until you sign the lease and have any problems to report - they are of no use. This is actually a very old building that was renovated but still has a lot of issues, including water leaking into your apartment in the Skyline towers and mold. There has also been a lot of crime, i.e. car break-ins and car/bicycle theft. Definitely not worth the money or the risk to your health. Would not recommend.Update 12/24/2020: I had water leaking from my patio door and paid out of pocket for a mold inspector, who found Aspergillus mold and other molds in the unit and recommended further evaluation and cleaning, and it was ignored by management. They painted over the water damaged area.Cut to today, Christmas Eve, and water is leaking from my front door, which has been happening over the past 2 years (this is the 3rd episode that I know of). No rent concessions for my issues and they will not let me break my lease without fees.Also, elevators in the 16-floor skyline building frequently are out of service, so you enjoy walking your bags of groceries up many flights of stairs, then this may be the place for you.The business center which used to have 2 PCs and 1 MAC and a printer that you could use for free, now has no computers and I believe they got a new printer that you have to pay for color printing.

I did really enjoy staying here so far since the staff has been very kind starting with the first contact, over discussing the lease, moving in and further. They are willing to help each time even if it requires to do overtime.The surrounding riverside and the amnesties help to relax after a hard working day. I can definitely recommend it so far!

In a beautiful location, the apartments are really nice but even with the construction they are pretty. I believe it’s worth living here because you aren’t far from pretty much anything and the area is perfect. The management made me feel very welcomed like I was already at home! and to my surprise the management seemed really excited to even be at work.Thank you guys so much!

Just moved in a few weeks ago to the high rise and the management team has been wonderful and very helpful. The apartments are brand new, gorgeous and thoughtfully laid out to make the most the space. The unit I live in is more functional than larger places Ive lived in the past. Great amenities and location as well. I am very glad I found this place!

This a brand new development by very reputable builders, not the old neglected Commander apartments. The Commander building has been completely gutted and redone, as have the grounds. The low rise buildings are all brand new. I have not toured the buildings yet as I live in a house nearby and dont need to rent. However, I wanted to set the record straight about what this project is, a brand new development.

Beautiful Location, the apartments are nice. I know they are still under construction, but even with that they are gorgeous. Its definitely worth living here as you are not far from the shops and the area is perfect. The management team is on another level. The management made me feel welcome, answered all my questions on my tour, and seemed genuinely excited to be at work which you dont find very often. Very glad that i stopped by. Thank you guys so much for making me feel welcomed!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! Where to begin...I wish I had known how awful the place was prior to moving in. They dont share crime information with the residents in a timely manner. I had to find out from a JSO office at the property that there is more crime than what they tell us. They hired a security service but theres still crime happening so not sure how effective that was. The management is totally inexperienced and they dont care about residents. They are more interested in posting on social media than doing their jobs. The maintenance men always have an attitude and one just stopped coming to work. Anytime we emailed for maintenance and pest control requests they went ignored. We had to send requests for service multiple times and even the pest control provider said we should contact him directly because so many residents dont get service when actually requested. They have mandatory fees for services that have never worked such as the Smartapp. They handled the COVID shut down terribly, we even witnessed them getting into arguments with residents. They were picking and choosing who and when they would want to kick someone out of common areas that were shut down even though it was outdoors and people were distancing and gave no progress updates on re-opening. The common areas are always dirty, gross dirty. The common areas are barely cleaned once a day after people trash the spaces with dog poop, bugs, food, etc. People dont clean up after their pets so there is always poop everywhere. The management put up signs saying owners would be fined for not cleaning up after pets and it never happened. The deterrent clearly didnt work. They have no sanitizers anywhere-the elevators are always disgusting or not working properly-granted they are older but it happens often. Some of the residents completely ignored the COVID restrictions which was annoying and the management didnt handle it well. As soon as staff would leave there were parties at the pool so everyone in the tower could see. The finishes inside the apartment are not luxury-they use super cheap materials and the apartment was dirty and full of dog hair when we moved in. I wish we enjoyed living there, we were excited about it and then it was a total disappointment and couldnt wait to move out. We werent the only ones- many other residents indicated they were unhappy living there and were moving out or said they wouldnt renew. The staff solicits good reviews by doing gift card giveaways-but anyone living here isnt hard up for a gift card...if residents participate - they arent being honest or havent been living there long enough yet. The place is only good for the view IF you live in the tower and can afford the higher floors because they cost a lot of $$. FYI-this is not a fake review. My name is not listed due to privacy.

This is the worst place I have ever lived. Management has been aware of a flooding issue in my unit for over five months and has not taken any sustainable, corrective action. When I issued a letter of my intention to withhold rent until the issue was resolved - which is well within my legal right - management fraudulently and unethically told me the issue was resolved and threatened to evict me. I regrettably trusted them until water came rushing in my apartment the next time it rained. Further, the management team enters units at will. I have woken up to individuals in my unit without authorization on three separate occasions. Living here is pure nightmare material. One star, would NOT recommend.

I moved in a few months ago and Mariah has been amazing. She’s very knowledgeable and was able to sell me on living here. I walked through the door only to find out why the apartments were so expensive. I had no plans on renting but was impressed by everything she showed me. I am now getting ready to transfer to a more expensive unit! I love it here! Mariah is a gift to the community.Antoine

WARNING TO NEW RESIDENTS, YOUR CAR WILL BE VANDALIZED OR STOLEN!During the last 2 weeks there have been 3 different incidents of vehicles being vandalized and stolen at RiverVue. First it was 3 vehicles that were vandalized. RiverVue did not take any action or notify their residents of the incident. Second, 8 vehicles were vandalized and one was stolen (including my vehicle). The property manager told us that this could happen anywhere and that they were contacting security companies. Fast forward another week and we get our 3rd incident of break ins! This time it was 2 vehicles that were broken into. When will RiverVue take action?!?!?

I just moved into this place so I cant judge on how good the maintenance would be later on, but I had great experience with the staff member, Andrea. She helped me set up the leasea and literally worked over time to move in on the day that i wanted.One concern I have is the pool maintenance, which they are still under construction. But I see every morning and there are two dozens of geese just chilling in the pool and pooping all over the place. In other words, you dont want to swim there. It is still under construction, so no resident should be accessing the pool, therefore this geese infestation might resolve when they are done working on it.

Management is horrid. View of the st.Johns is great. But the rude/ lazy management is what drove me out. AC never works half the time. Elevators always breaking, maintenance half- butt fixing things. Rust coming out of the faucets, constant water pressure issues, bad flavored water, pool always full of crud ..just to give you an idea of what I delt with as far as the apartment living its self. Management on the other hand... dont expect them to be in the office at listed hours. They always close early. Hardly reliable what so ever. Not to mention quick to catch an attitude and get pushy. Their all smiles if they think youll sign a lease, dont be fooled. All in all its up to you if you think the view is worth it. And please note that this complex is being planned to get demolished. But youll never know exact dates. Theyll tell you to leave one day... and the next they tell you theyll be there another year. Story changes every day. Enter at your own risk.

Beautiful view from all the apartments. Convenient for walking around. Seems well maintained. Reasonable rent. The big plus is the fantastic river view. Small parking spa ce.

I use to work here as a housekeeper back in 2005 And it was THE COMMANDERS APARTMENT NOW I SEE THAT THE NAME HAS CHANGED BUT I HAD SOME GREAT TIMES WORKING THERE it was great working with Mrs janet and Mrs Cherie but it all changed all down the line when management started firing Good people . so I decided to leave and go else where . but the view was priceless and the residents was awesome and all the memories I cherish there will never go away .

We love RiverVue! The staff is amazing! The maintenance is always so helpful and prompt with any of our requests. It is very dog friendly here and couldn’t ask for a better dog park and doggie spa for our French Bulldog. The amenities including the pool and gym are top notch. We love being able to walk to the shoppes of Avondale and Riverside is literally 3 minute Uber. The management staff always has fun activities planned every week including yoga, Wing Wednesday, Nacho Night just to name a few! . One morning they surprised the building with Chick-fil-a for breakfast. We love these ladies!The views are breathtaking with both sunrise and sunset views from our unit, RiverVue is beyond our expectations .

I looked at several of the top properties in the Avondale/Riverside area, walking into RiverVue ended my search before I even saw the units. Beautiful building with everything a full service build should offer . And then I saw my VIEW!!There is no better view in the city of jax ! I watch sunrise and sunsets from my apmt every day, friends and family are blown away !!To top my day to day experience off, RiverVue has the BEST staff!! Andrea, Drea, and Mariah. On my first day visiting RiverVue I was greeted by Mariah King with her warm smiling face. She quickly gave me a tour of the building answering all my questions and then proceeded to show me two of the one bedroom units available ........... I was very pleased to see what had been done with the old building, I loved it.
