I use to be a tenant at this property, few weeks ago decided to visit a friend and she show me this and told me they are not able to use the pool the entire summer I can’t believe it, thank god I move out, this is not healthy, I advise her to run out of there, Beware do not rent there …

I have lived here for a few years and love it here. It is close to shops and restaurants within walking distance. The office staff were very helpful during Covid when I lost my job even gave me information for an agency to help me. Maintenance has always come 24 to 48 hours when i put a work order in.Overall the rent is good and we have never had any issues.

UPDATE: this apartment complex has still not said or done anything about the mold issue. they came and “sprayed it down” but it came back so badly, we had no choice but to get out as it was in unlivable condition and my family and i were physically sick from living here. we did continue to pay rent, however i believe it was a huge violation of our lease agreement to continue to make us pay rent for an unsafe apartment but we did it anyway. Bella Terraza, I have posted the video and photos all over social media of this mold and leakage that you refused to fix. i have video evidence of all of the mold in case you try to deny. the city had been contacted and you are being reported to the health department :)for the sake of the health of you and your family, PLEASE don’t move here!!! They will “schedule” for maintenance but they won’t actually show up. there is black mold that is making my family and i physically sick and they haven’t done anything about it. They do not care about their tenants or their health. This seems like a joke to them and that’s very off putting and disgusting to me. Please move literally anywhere else! We are moving out very very soon thankfully, but this is a nightmare. Bella Terraza, open your eyes and learn how to manage a complex. I’m embarrassed for you, truly. Disgusting.

Its absolutely everything you make it!! Ive lived here for 2 years With my 3 kids and its been a really great experience thus far. The School bus drops kids right in front of complex. Close to everything. Literally from Food, Grocery, Entertainment, Transportation. and so much more. The apartments are beautiful, Extremely spacious, and affordable! Most importantly. Cant forget the staff. They are all kind, they listen and are very understanding! Maintenance gets the job done. I would Highly recommend if your looking for a place that feels like home!

I’ve been living here for almost 2 months and I love it! The office staff is extremely accommodating. We love Jasmine she is great. I had a few maintenance issues when I moved in but they were able to resolve it quickly! I recommend moving here. It’s little pricey but peace of mind is expensive so it’s worth every cent.

Don’t move here!!!! the front office is nasty and rude when it’s ones to repairs. They only care about money. All those positive reviews are probably from their staff. This place is dirty and and not worth what they charge for rent. You can do better trust me

I went for a tour and was amazed by the renovations they done. It was beautiful property and they staff was amazing. They were very nice and informative. I couldnt be more pleased. If you happen to go do a tour ask for Claudia, Jasmine or Tasha. Theyre all so nice and helpful.

My father is living at Bella for many years, and he is very excited with the new ladies, he called me and told me, they are very friendly and one of them invited him to stop by and have coffee, and if he need anything they will be taking care of anything he need, he is so happy is the first time he feel this way, thank you hoping for good changes is about time. As a resident living here for over a year I can be brutally honest. BEWARE of this place.First and foremost we never have a consistent front staff. Along with the front staff being new we always have maintenance crews in rotation.Meaning no one is following up on your request. The online portal says someone is scheduled to fix your issues and NO ONE DOES.It’s probably because there are SEVERAL things wrong with this complex and the maintenance men can not keep up with the large amounts of maintenance request.Of course the front staff are nice and accommodating in the beginning, it’s a business they NEED tenants. It’s only when you move in do you find out how horrible the conditions are for the price.I’ve had a leak in my roof from when it rained And the rain drips to a socket and no one fixed that. My sink is also broken for weeks and no ones come for that. There’s black mold on my windows and bathroom.. yikes.I’ve had an issue with my AC unit since I’ve moved here which was replaced finally after begging for months... to only still sound broken. The sound is so loud it radiates Through my entire apartment and also can be heard outside. I’ve vocalized my concern and brought it to the attention of the staff and they will tell you “I’ll send someone over today”.I’ve documented everything with videos and pictures. These conditions are horrible, I would NOT recommend.6.12Update: there’s a bad sewage problem in this complex. My apartment smells like boiled eggs every evening around 6pm. I can NOT wait til my lease is up soon.There’s also a mold issue, be prepared to see mold in your bathroom ceilings, border of windows etc..

This is my second time living here. I was here when I was younger with my family. And now I’m back. It’s been about 6 months and I am extremely satisfied. No bug issues ever. No issues with the apartment. Ashley & the management crew are amazing! Amenities are great: two pools, gym, etc. They make sure that your comfortability is top notch. Pretty flexible. Apartments are extremely spacious and updated. One of the best apartment complexes that I have came across! Well worth the money!!

This place should be your last resort. They only care about the money they receive and not about the families. They are never in a hurry to fix appliance or they replace with other appliances from another apt that have bugs.If I could give them a negative 0 I would

This place is really nice!! The lady in the office (I believe her name was Ashley) was super professional and helpful. She was able to answer all of my questions. A great place to live!! I highly recommend it!!!

Steven in maintenance went above and beyond for me when my power went out, due to improper wiring. He stayed in constant contact with me about the issue, and even showed up to the unit on a Sunday afternoon to resolve the problem. I am truly impressed, and grateful for all of his hard work.

Do not move here. These apartments are terrible!! The pool was so dirty at one point I’ve seen frogs in the pool. The girls in the office see rude! My fridge broke and my food spoiled the office didn’t care that I have children they only care about money. Bathrooms and kitchens are old and outdated. Extreme amount of adults loitering in front of the building. Anytime u call about a issue they make excuses because they don’t want to take responsibility for anything. This place is a disgrace

The staff at this facility is amazing!! Mrs jasmine and Ms.claudia are amazing..they are very professional and very helpful in assisting all of my needs in finding the perfect apartment..... Hats off to those guys!!!!!

The neighbors are some of the most ghetto and obnoxious people everThey expect you to notify them 60 days in advance that you are moving and will fine you if you dont even though a lease is an agreement that the renter will move out on the agreed upon dateThe AC never actually workedThe covered back porch floods every time it rainedThere were bug infestations that moved from one apartment to the nextThe playground had rebar sticking out of the groundParking is atrociousIts a gated community but the gates never closed so the gates only function was to bottle neck people going in and out

Ive been living here for 2 years and I havent had any problems. The staff has been great. The maintenance guys (Jose and Jayson) are really nice and deal with any problem very quick without any hesitation at any time. Its been a great experience for my family and I.

We have lived here for a month now and have only had bad experiences. The day we moved in they had told us they had to order us new blinds (ours are broken) and a rod for our closet(its missing). It has been a month and we havent gotten either. I called and asked if they had an update and they said we would have it that week. This was 2 weeks ago.We noticed we have 2 electrical outlets that do not work as well and we put in a maintenance request in 2 days after we moved in and that was a month ago yet nobody has come to look at it or give us an update.Our carpet has not been dry since we moved in and makes my feet feel sweaty. I wont be barefoot in my own place.Both times we have paid rent we paid on time/early yet are being charged late fees.***UPDATE***It has been 5 months since we moved in still no shelves or blinds for the bedroom. Asked the maintenance man when it would be in and he said this is the first he has heard about it so the ladies in the office never even told him! We have found giant cockroaches all over the apartment yet Im paying for pest control? So many things keep breaking and Ive put in 9 maintenance requests yet havent gotten anything fixed. Mold is growing in the apartment as well. I cant wait to move from here.

Bella Terraza Apts is a great place to live. Megan is a nice but fair manager who works with her residents and provides solutions to their issues. If you are looking for a great place to start before homeownership, wanting a centrally located place to live, or looking to retire I would recommend living here. I only been living here 2 months & I Love it! The pools,the fitness center is nice,the Residents & leasing office ppl are really friendly & extremely nice. I recommend these apartments to anyone.;)

Maintenance lies and says they have competed a work order and I work from home and no one has come to assist. They begin re-pipe the old horrible pipes 3 days before Christmas when I told them I had guest coming over. Someone stole some of my children toys while working on the pipes. Then the pipes began leak not even 2 months later. I had to put 2 work orders and then they finally decided to replace the newly installed pipes. They said they would back a week later repair the hole in my ceiling that still remains 4 months later. NO ONE came to repair and close this eye sore that still remains there. I could write a book on my horrific experience. Pest control is a joke. Maintenance is a joke. They are shooting outside and vandalizing the buildings. Water is shut often more often than it on. Save yourself the headache. The space is nice, but dont expect help.

I LOVE my 2 bedroom unit i moved in back in May. It is spacious and has all the bells and whistles. ( these were condos in the past from my understanding). and I can tell! They are updated and spacious! My patio is huge! One of my friends who lives in a community in a 1 bedroom 1 bath and is paying more than what i pay for my 2brdm 2 bath! He was shocked how big it was and how big my patio is!I have received top notch service from Amanda and the staff. Maintenance is prompt! (Same day service). Coming from my old complex, Bella Terraza is like a resort compared to my old complex. Grounds are always clean, pools are nice, gym is nice and clean. Neighbors dont loiter around and about the complex. Everyone stays in their homes other than going to the pools. I give Bella an A+ so far!

The new leasing agent Annica is so amazing. She makes my day every time I go into the office or call up there.

I have been living here since I came back from deployment and yes, Bella Terraza does cater to the military and they do offer some discounts when you actually apply. It was a risky decision because I was on deployment while I was applying but everyone at the leasing office made the process go by pretty smooth. I have been living here for 2 months in a 2 bed room 2 bathroom type apartment and I have no complaints. The maintenance team is pretty quick to assist you if a problem rises. There is a small park for dogs if you do own a dog, so thats pretty cool and although I havent been swimming yet, I do plan on taking advantage of the pool. The price you pay for is definitely worth it here if youre looking for a good community that is a couple minutes away from downtown, st johns town center and a convenient 20 minute drive to mayport naval station (15 on a weekend). I love my apartment. Thank you Bella Terraza.Edit: Since new management came in, the whole complex has turned upside down. Not sure why the sudden change but just know it wasnt for the better.Source: Lived in Bella for a year and half.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My daughter and son-in-law have had a leak in their roof (bottom floor) for about a month now with no fix. When I say leak, I actually mean a pour when it rains. We have videos to show! This is after they were moved to another complex due to nonstop issues in their last unit. Run away from this place as it’s not worth the constant stress. If I was my daughter, I would report this place to the necessary people because nonstop pouring when it rains is not ok. I guarantee there is mold growing too. They are in contract which is why they can’t leave. If you are interested in this place, talk to the residents first or just hang out around the office and listen to the complaints that continue to roll in.Also, they’ve had their car broken into a couple times and then their car was stolen.

It should have been a red flag when we first showed interest in signing a lease here at Bella terraza. My roommates and I were all moving to Jacksonville from out of state and was unable to visit the place beforehand. They took weeks to get back to us after we submitted out application. The customer service here is awful! The office is closed on the weekends and is only open 9-5 on the weekdays and there isn’t a legitimate emergency maintenance line which is problematic for us when we all work 50hour weeks. There was one occasion where had a hole in our ceiling leaking water after the hurricane and it took them more than a month to make it a priority. (Before they finally fixed it, they would come in and just paint over it.) Yesterday they told us that the plumbers will be coming in today to work on the pipes. The only instructions that we were given was to move the stuff that we have under the bathroom and kitchen sink. I was awoken by them telling me they needed to work on the bathroom in my bedroom so I moved to another room in the unit. When I came back to my room they had moved all of my furniture around and carved large pieces of my wall of to expose the pipes to the laundry room. They placed a tarp that was clearly used before on my bed and had moved my personal items around. They are faulty for not informing us of what work had to be done and what preparation we needed to complete before they came in. We pay $10 a month for a trash compactor that works only sometimes, the water pressure goes in and out and it has nothing to do with usage of another water source in the apartment, the neighbors are inconsiderate and loud. Bella terraza is a horrible place to live. The only reason that we are still here is because we cannot afford to move to another place. Bella terraza needs to be shut down and start over from scratch.

Very misleading information on the website. The gym is 24 hours but the equipment needs some serious maintenance. The community advertises a Gated community except the gates never work. There is only one dumpster compactor available and the residents do not know how to throw their own trash in the dumpster.

Sadly I cant think of anything good to say. The first night we moved in I woke up in the middle of the night with a roach crawling on me. Due to heavy rain the paint on my bedroom wall bubbled up and maintenance has yet to fix the issue. Mine and my boyfriends vehicles were broken into; not once but TWICE in the span of a month and a half. When we asked to see the security footage we were told they would be reviewed only to find out from maintenance that they dont work and are only dummy cameras. The gates worked for the first month of us living here and ever since then it has not worked and doesnt close. We have emailed the office several times regarding the issues and nothing has been done. We were told the issues would be handled immediately. The new management company is a straight up joke. When we couldnt get a hold of them we tried to call corporate and we got no answer from them either even though multiple voicemails were left for them. Surrounding apartments have been broken into several times as well. Neighbors have been known to steal packages from their neighbors. Maintenance is a joke and doesnt do their job. Quite frankly they smell like weed every time I run into them. They dont keep up the grounds and it looks like a dump. Speaking of dump, there is only 1 trash receptacle for the whole community and it constantly overflows. Needless to say the amount of money we pay to live here is not worth it. If you want no security and the most unfriendly staff then by all means this is your place. I only gave this place 1 star since I couldnt give 0 stars. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! Do yourself a favor and find somewhere better that gives you more bang for your buck.

This place is a bad example of apartment living. Stay away! Dirty, trashy environment, maintenance is slower than the resurrection of Christ, and it’s not even close to being worth the rent.

Current resident here. Bella Terraza has been one of the better complexes Ive lived in (prior service Army, lived in over 5 separate locations).The gym: first off, yes it is listed as 24 hours but the keypad will lockout after 10pm so plan accordingly. I have only encountered 1 faulty machine (cable machine with lat pull down, cable flys, adjustable seated chest press combined) and it was fixed within a couple days. This gym is one of the few gyms that has free weights up to 50 lbs. Honestly, it has almost everything you need for a good workout. If you dont like it then go pay for a gym membership.Maintenance staff: top knotch, knowledgeable employees. I had one issue with my kitchen light. Several maintenance staff came by to look at it, ended up needing to order and replace a part. It left me without a kitchen light for a week but it wasnt their fault. Every single interaction I had with them has been professional, and courteous. Definitely DID NOT SMELL LIKE WEED.Staff: I will not name names, but every single office member treated me and my family like we were long time friends. They even went the extra mile to interact with my daughter whenever I see them. I would not hesitate to approach them if I have an issue.Gate: Yes it is technically gated, but all gates are locked in the open position. I spoke with the staff and they said they are currently working on it. The issue is the ordering of enough keys for the entire complex. They cannot order keys until they get the correct number of tenents. This ensures everyone has a key and no one gets locked out.Trash Compactor: Downside is that there is only one for the whole complex, which gets taken out once a week. The problem is that some residents either place unbroken down boxes or furniture in the compactor, causing it to get backed up. Once this happens trash gets piled on the sides or on the dirt. The fault is partially the residents for not cycling the compactor (close door twice to start it) and the complex for only having it picked up once a week. This can be remedied with either another trash unit or more frequent pick ups.TL:DR: The staff is fantastic, maintenance is prompt, gym closes at 10pm, gate doesnt close, trash sometimes piles up.

Wish I could give 0 but this is not an option. I lived here for almost 3 years. The first 2 years were great until the new management company took over. I tried calling them for months to sign my lease. Paid $100 to have my fiancé fill out an application and never heard back. When I finally found a number to call for the regional manager I left a message. She called me back left a short message with no way to contact her back. I kept calling The office no answer. They eventually called my fiancé looking for me because They supposedly didnt have my email or phone number, which is a lie. I called them on the number my fiancé gave me and they made up some excuse that theyve had an issue with AT&T. FOR 4 MONTHS REALLY? Than continued to argue with me about she had been there everyday from 9-6. Really because I even made an appointment to re sign my lease with my fiancé and pay the $50 rent increase and they didnt show. I went back 3 more times that day and still no one there. I wouldnt recommend this place ever! It would be a massive mistake to live here.

Ever since the new management took over its been a absolute living hell. They are never in the office anymore so you cant get your mail. There has been multiple occurrences of gunshots right outside my building. My direct side neighbor literally got robbed in the middle of the night and property management wouldnt even answer the phone to let her in her apartment when her keys were stolen and she was shaken. Staff seems to change every single week, on saturdays mail gets dumped in front of the office doors cause noone is there to let them in so anyone can come up and steal your mail all weekend long. Living here is a nightmare come true and I would not recommend anyone ever live here under any circumstances. I been living here for 2 years and not once has the gates ever worked. NEVER. There are some that say they worked for a short time but thats only the front two gates, pointless if the back gates are broken. Dont believe the fake reviews, noone and I mean noone that actually lives here would give this place 5 stars. Its obviously staff trying to get ratings up to fill their vacant apartments.

Current resident. I havent finish my whole lease and already moving out. They do not take care of there property and my unit has black mold, and damage almost all my furniture, they told me to use my renters insurance to cover my lost furniture, but there is no mold policy here in Florida. The property refuse to pay for my damages, when its there fault.

Tried to move here while out of town..Everytime i called someone picked up and didnt know what i was talking about..i had a apartment on hold but they gave it away..if your out of town dont deal with them..(update)so staying there for a year at the end,end up having rats in my apartment..never again
