This is hands-down the best heating and air business I’ve dealt with in my 20+ years living in the Jacksonville area. I had an incredibly enjoyable and pleasant experience from start to finish, and will definitely be recommending this business to friends and neighbors.Our service technician, Sam, was very professional and remarkably knowledgeable. Sam was able to answer all of my questions in a manner I was able to easily understand and follow. He went out of his way to make sure I not only understood the process and all the nuances that accompanied it, but more importantly, he made sure I was comfortable with the system we purchased and the work being done.Very seldom do I leave reviews, however, I felt my glowing experience warranted one. Bold City is always a pleasure to work with. Fixed my AC (replaced motor module) in about 30 min. Back to cool air!

1st let me start with saying I should have scheduled them first. We went w someone else and they kept pushing back the expected time, so we called Bold City pretty close to 4:30pm and was able to schedule someone for the same day. Derrick came out around 5:30, super personable, we discussed what I had checked and he went to work. Solved my issue pretty quick and got me up and running again in less than an hour. Was worth it after a warm night, an aggravated pregnant wife and a hot 2 yr old all day.

Their Response time was faster than I could accommodate. I rescheduled. The Technician was the kind of Technician that you hope for, friendly and knowledgeable. I have an older home. Bold City installed a new air conditioning system, installed new air ducts, and added insulation to my attic. They are always on time and professional. When they finish the work they clean up after themselves and provide photos of the work they have done. I appreciate their hard work and honesty.

Bold City called me as soon as they got my request. I was given a 1 hour window, and he showed up early! That never happens. Our AC went out last night and we have an infant; were worried about the air quality overnight as it gets incredibly stuffy. Sam was on time, professional and pleasant. My husband is a bit of a “hover” but Sam was respectful and accommodating. He had the problem fixed within the hour. I came from home work late and our house was unusually warm. This was a newer unit so I called Bold City after hours and someone answered right away. Within 3-5 minutes they already had someone scheduled to come out. Tyler Pittman was our service tech and he was very professional and efficient. Bold city has installed two A/C units for me. Both jobs were excellent and I am well pleased with them.Last evening, my main A/C stopped. I called Bold city and they responded bright and early and got me going again. They are friendly, professional and timely. I recommend them highly.

Earlier in the morning our AC stopped working. After requesting services through our Home Warranty Company and pretty much being told we’d have to wait until Monday to even hear from the contractor assigned to us we decided to look for a company that provides emergency services. We have a 3 month old baby and it was almost 90 degrees in the house, we could NOT wait that long. When we originally contacted Bold City we were given a time slot of 7:30pm-9pm. When on the phone we mentioned we had a baby and next thing we knew we were told they’d have someone here even sooner. Within an hour a technician was assigned to our service request and at our door. Sam did such an amazing and thorough job and had the AC issues fixed within half an hour. He explained everything as he went and answered all the questions we had. Because of him we will definitely be using Bold City anytime we have an issue with our AC unit.

I have used many air conditioner companies in the past and usually my experience with them is fair to bad. That is why I was so impressed by Bold City. They were completely professional from beginning to end. My installation was a difficult one that involved taking the condenser up stairs to the roof of my building. They sent 3 installers and completed everything with no difficulty and explained every step of the process. They removed and replaced everything I had stored in the handler closet and even swept up after themselves. When I had a question about fixed speed vs. variable speed, the operations manager spent 1/2 hours on the phone educating me. Everyone from the estimate guy to the operations manager to the installers were friendly, informative and professional. I could not have been happier with Bold City and will recommend them to all of my friends.

We needed some major duct cleaning here at our two story facility. We also needed all of our supply and return grills changed out (75-100 pieces). The team knew it would be a task so they were sure to show up with enough guys to get the job done in a timely fashion. They were on time both days and worked consistent until the job was completed. They were all professional with a great sense of humor (which we love). If we had any questions throughout the process they were always able to give us an answer. Bold City was super responsive to my needs. I called them at 10:00 am to inquire about AC cleaning/coil cleaning. They expertly articulated what needed to be done and the associated costs. They were to my house by 12:45 pm to examine the AC and perform the service. They were done within an hour and provided before and after pics of their work. They were incredibly pleasant to work with and I will recommend their services moving forward.

Our AC had been running sporadically for several days. It would be OK for a while then shut off. My husband knew how to reboot it, but it apparently got tired of being rebooted, and though it was running, it wasnt cooling. Of course, we were getting close to the weekend, but the company that we usually use and have a maintenance agreement with, couldnt have anyone out until Monday. We also have a 12 yr old rescue dog, who besides being blind and deaf, has heart and lung problems from having had heartworms. This heat and humidity was not going to work for her. So, on Saturday, we called Bold City Heating and Air. This was the best decision I could have made. He (I am so embarrassed not to remember the gentlemans name) was at our house within an hour. It was an easy fix-clogged drain. He installed a new drain that will be much easier for my husband to flush out every month. He gave us pointers that our other company should have. Bold City has great reviews and they can add ours to the rest. They also have a new customer for maintenance of our HVAC unit. Their prices are very reasonable. Thank you so much!!!!

Contacted this company as their sticker was on the HVAC in the house we purchased. I wanted a general maintenance checkup as I noticed some leakage under the unit.I was able to get an appointment next day and even after an error on my part in my schedule they were able to adapt and still accommodate me. I was a little behind on my time and the contractor got to the house before me. He was so patient and kind he waited for me to get back (I was less then 5mins away). Called Bold City for their tune-up special and they were phenomenal. Tyler Pittman called 15min before he arrived. He explained everything he did before he did it and he was considerate enough to break down the technical stuff to so I wouldnt be confused.

I was recommended to this company by my family members. The phone sales was good, but then it turned for the worse. I set an appt for an in house visit to look at my home and recommend the system best suited for my wants via the Owner and for whatever the reason was left out to dry, I rescheduled for that afternoon with another tech which put me at the end of the day and he was very good. He saw what my home had and he took his notes and provided them to the sales team. I was not contacted anymore for 2 wks so I contacted them, and still was told to hold on and they would follow up shortly and days later nothing. I called again and same story. I then called a last time and asked for another sales advisor and he saw the notes and gave me excuses, but he too failed to call me back. I called him back and he told me they couldnt do the job. My wife then emailed the owner directly and he failed to respond as of today it has been at least 4 days. I guess a 10k job was too small for them. All in all this company has earned a ZERO star rating but I have to give them a one.

I cannot say enough to express how happy I am I decided to go with Bold City for my new central unit install. I got three estimates from the highest rated companies in my area. I thought I had already made my mind up to go with another company, but after the first 10 minutes into my estimate I knew without a doubt that going with anyone else would be the wrong move. From start to finish the experience was perfect. The estimate was not rushed and he took the time to check out everything that would maximize my new unit. They were the only company I talked to that wanted to do the job right by matching my return ventilation to the new unit instead of just slapping a new one in place of my old one. Pricing was better than the other two companies that were not even going to install it right. Trevor, Brad, RT, and Jared showed up at my house when they were scheduled to be there and got straight to work. They kept everything clean along the way and were both professional and friendly. I am very picky about quality of work and everything was done to the highest of standards. Its been about three weeks and the heating and cooling difference is amazing. I highly recommend them for any HVAC needs that need to be done right.

After being without AC for 2 days I spoke to 4 different HVAC companies and most of them lied to me or had ridiculous prices. Bold City was the only company that helped me instead of taking advantage of me. I got a top notch unit at a reasonable price. I’m so glad my family can sleep comfortably now.

I have always had them service my a/c unit since they installed 2 years ago. Have have always been very fair and very professional. I have always keptThe maintenance plan on the unit since I bought it And always had them come out every 6 months for the inspections. Only complaint I have this time is that the gentleman that came out this time told me for the service contract which I pay for it only consists of sanitizing the unit and checking the outside system and that I am going to need my coils cleaned probably by the next check Up which is In 6 more months and that is not included with the maintenance plan and with my discount it is going to cost about $189. WOW.

Purchased a UV-C lighting from the company. Took less than 10 minutes to explain the process and cost. The cost was $480 out the door and I paid $480 out the door! The Tech called on his way to our home and was super patient as I only had about a day and a half worth of Google knowledge. A week later and our home has allergens greatly reduced!

My Air Condition went out a few weeks ago, and dealing with covid-19 and short hours I was unable to spend tons of money on a new unit. I called around and came across this company which stopped me from almost getting scammed with another company. I also saved so much more money with a legit company. Never use this company. They dont stand behind their work and do the right thing to correct their poor workmanship and will come up with every excuse in the book to avoid correcting their poor initial workmanship. I even had their own senior technician confirm to me that what we were asking the company to fix was an installation issue and he simply told me I dont know why they are playing games! Do not fall for their so called professionalism. This company is anything but professional, honest and responsive!
