Made an appointment for an estimate for an AC installation. Window was for 8-12, didn’t hear from anyone by 1:30 so I called and left a voicemail. No call back so I called back and hour later to attempt to reach someone at 2:30. They didn’t have and info on why I haven’t received a call or visit and was told I would get a call back in a few minutes.I waited another half hour and called back again for an update and was told that “Kevin was probably running late”.Maybe they’re having normally top notch, but if I’m investing around $8k with a company for an AC but they can’t communicate even small issues to the (potential) customer then I can’t gamble with my investment with them.

My AC unit was not blowing any cold air. My warranty company picked another company to come out. They never called or showed. I called NE Heating & Air. They had someone at my house in about an hour. He even looked up my parts and found they were under manufacturer warranty. Saving me money and the cost was way less than I expected. As a real estate agent I am putting this company on my list of recommendations. Thank you NE Florida Heating &Air!!

A few years back had NEFHA install a new AC system. Had them out a couple of times clean the AC drain as it was backed up. While working on the system it was discovered that the 2 zone damper was rusted and needed to replaced. The tech showed up with the part only to find it was the wrong size and that is when we started with this current stall. I have called several times and spoke to Faye only to be told the part will be in the next day. And I have heard nothing from them. I just got a call from the owner and he is sending someone out Wednesday morning to look at the system/dampers. Will update after. 2 weeks later and the damper has not been replaced or call back from the company. Having to get another AC company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Even the owner (John) has no idea what is going on. Always promise to have someone call you back and that never happens. And on 12/09/20 let me take your number and have Faye give you a call back...and no call back again for the 7th time. Starting to wonder if they want the business since the replacement of the damper is going to cost over $600.

From the initial contact setting up my Service appointment to the Technician showing up doing his job......all went smoothly start to finish. Prompt, courteous service, arriving as scheduled and professional Technicians.... No complaints. I Reco to anyone out there looking for Service on their HVAC System.

Just had a service call performed by Dave and Jacob and it was great !in this day and age it is a rarity to find a company with integrity so I am unfortunately always leery about companies and the service they provide, but my mind was changed both Dave and Jacob showed up on time and acted in a very professional manner and actually were very comfortable in the way they greeted me and interacted with me so it cut down on the awkwardness, and I enjoyed that I was kept informed throughout the whole process and it was explained to me in laymans terms not industry talk! I am highly satisfied with the service and the quality of the 2 employees Dave and Jacob, I highly recommend this company and for sure those 2 individuals.I also will end by saying that they have a customer for life that is for sure and I will tell anyone that will listen what a great job they did!

My A/C went out on a Wednesday evening. I was able to reach North Florida Thursday morning and they were there by 1 pm that day. They not only fixed the problem but also offered my husband helpful hints to avoid having the same issues occur again. I would highly recommend this company!

I can’t say enough good things about this company. Josh and Seth were great, I really appreciate them being willing to stay late to get things wrapped up. We have had to call twice when our air conditioning suddenly went out. The office staff was so friendly and helpful. Both times someone was sent immediately. They fixed our unit quickly and at an affordable price. They are definitely our top choice when it comes to our heating and ac needs.

The heat pump outside was humming loudly and the temperature inside the house was climbing. A sticker on the unit indicated that it had been installed by Northeast Florida Heating & Air. I figured they would be more familiar with my system, so I called them. Boy, am I glad I did. The service technician had bad news about my 12 year old heat pump. The compressor motor was toast. He offered several repair options but due to the age of the system, I decided that replacing just the compressor was only a temporary fix. Northeast worked with me to replace the entire system. On the day the new system was installed, the were on time, very professional, and left no mess. As they were leaving, the house temperature was going down and my gratitude was going up. Northeast Florida Heating & Air has my sincere appreciation and endorsement.

Our heat went out on Wednesday night and I called Northeast FL the next morning. They quickly sent a technician (Dustin) to our home to inspect our system and as we feared we were in need of a new AC unit. Dustin answered all the questions we had and explained the many different problems with our current unit. The crew came out the next day and installed the unit and so far we are loving it. We opted to add the air purifier and I can already notice a big difference in our air quality.

I have had good service in the past with this company and will continue to use them in the future. I have spoken with Matt and Faye there and am satisfied they will do their best to take care of you. Thanks Matt & Faye!

Alright, I’ll start off by saying I’m not the “leave a review” type of person. But the service here was so extraordinary, that I truly feel this is necessary so that others may benefit from it.I called multiple companies in my area for bids on the job, and dealt with a few that didn’t seem to want my business, others that honestly didn’t seem to know what they were doing, and one that was just outright and obviously trying to sell me things I didn’t need or want.Then there was Matt from Northeast Florida Heating and Air. Guy comes in, super professional, clearly knows his stuff, assures me that his guys will take care of the air handler problem I have, (other companies were trying to dance around it and half ass the job) and stays patient while I continue receiving bids. This was no easy task either, they had to move the air handler into the attic which was a lot of work. We ask him if he can match a competitors price, and he does, so I was sold. Matt’s professionalism and confidence that this job would be done right is what attracted me to choose this company, and man did I make the right decision.Fast forward to us starting the financing process, my old air conditioner breaks. I let him know, and right away he gets the ball rolling and schedules the install just days later. I was impressed. He really took care of us exactly like he promised.His guys come in by the truckload and start the install. His crew was fantastic. Every single one of them working super hard and fast trying to get my family cold air. They even stayed late which was unexpected. NEF and A was great. Dustin did a great job analyzing the issue first, the two installers were professional and courteous, and the supervisor Matthew even came by and we were able to talk a bit and get my other questions answered.Although it’s not great to have to spend this kind of $, it’s nice to know I have the right system for my house and had it installed correctly. I would definitely recommend this company for your Cooling/heating needs.

Very professional staff from start to finish. They treat you as if you are family and explain every step of their process. They do not try to upsell you on items that you dont need and are very honest and upfront. You get your moneys worth when you have them handle your heating and air needs. I had to replace my entire unit and and when my new unit was installed it looked 10 times better than the original installed unit. THIS COMPANY IS A SIX STAR COMPANY IN MY OPINION AND I WOULD NOT ONLY RECOMMEND THEM BUT WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN. There is no zero to choose. Called this company asking about prices for installing a thermostat (I bought two of them since my house needs two). The rep said they do it for free, the tech will come and install at no charge. Well, the tech came to my house and spent over two hours with the instructions how to install and then said It is a bad batch of thermostats and he doesnt know what to do. Then he said out of courtesy he will not charge me for the installation (???) but only for trip charge of $95. Hello?!....Isnt this a misleading the customers example? I hope the company does it right and issue the refund.

I had a wonderful experience with Mike and Chris. They came out and did an excellent job installing my new Trane unit. They had a very limited closet space to work with but they did a great job of working around what they had. The unit runs great. They were very mindful of the mess they were making and put down sheets to help create less of a mess and was even volunteering to sweep the little mess they made. They were very nice about us needing access to the hallway at times. Dustin came out originally and tried to fix my old unit but was honest and showed me everything he found that needed to be fixed. In the end the warranty company was giving me to many issues so we decided to just replace it. Thank you for all the help in the process and making it as easy as possible and helping me with all questions.

Technicians seem to know their AC Systems and spend the time to diagnosis and repair the systems. Warranty work does require the techs get prior approval from the manufacture or insurance company before repairs. I strongly recommend this Company for your Home or Business HVAC Servicing and Repair.

Unbelievable experience! A/C stopped working on a very hot Saturday, so we called the office & left a voicemail. Our service technician, Daniel, returned our call in 10 minutes. Even more amazing, he arrived at our home in about 30 minutes...He had us up & running again in about an hour. Exceptional service!! Prompt response. Very friendly and professional service. Turns out we needed a completely new system. We had a couple options we wanted to look at with the new system. Ultimately, it wasn’t cost effective to go with our original thoughts but our techinician Dustin listened to what we wanted and was able to come up with a very good solution. NEFHC has also done service work me previously and we got the same great service at a reasonable price.

I had all my AC duct work replaced also had some Supply returns installed. Chris did an excellent job was very friendly and knowledgeable my only concern was they could have sent two guys over and had the job done in half the time. Definitely would recommend them to all my friends.

My wife and I have had some serious issues with our AC over the last month, and after an initial consultation with NEFL Heating and Air we needed a new AC unit. Quoted 4500 for install, pipe flush, state inspection, etc all wrapped up into one price. I shouldve just done it then but on a referral from a family member I went with a small private company to install my new AC because it was 1k cheaper and it was a month before Christmas.This other company came out and did the job in about 2 hours and I thought I was in the clear.Then a week later my AC unit (brand new) was not pumping out cold air. The other company said they would come take a look. Ended up bailing on us saying it was too cold to check the coolant levels and they would come by some other time, which they told us AFTER we called an hour after they were supposed to be there. Called NEFL for some advice and they talked us through the process of checking the coolant and why it was necessary for it to be a little warmer outside, but also informed us that they could easily check for leaks even though its cold.Company 2 came back out a week later and put some coolant in it (slapped a band-aid on it) and said they would find a time to come check for leaks.Came out another week later to check the pipes for leaks (which should have been done when the unit was installed) and dug around, about 2 feet away from my unit and said they couldnt find the pipes and that it must be going directly under the property. Also mentioned they were afraid to dig too close because they might hit my neighbors lines....So we called NEFL and they came out same day and dug BY HAND rather than with a shovel and axe right next to my unit and found the piping just fine. They then scheduled someone to come out and replace the pipes as soon as they could.Just got to my house and said there is also a small leak inside the house, which means that the other company probably dinged the pipe while changing out the unit and just said they Couldnt find an issue.Long story for a simple ending....GO WITH NEFL FOR YOUR HEATING AND AIR NEEDS! They are fast, courteous, do great work, AND stand by their work. You guys are the best and Dustin has been a delight throughout the entire process.These guys are the real deal and do a great job at what they do.

I started with making an appointment on a Sunday, unfortunately theyre closed so I didnt expect any quick response. They called me to make my appointment for the next day. Awesome! Daniel showed up on-time between 8 and 830 like I was told. Excellent! He quickly assessed my problem and fixed the issue (which was just to add more freeon). He also answered all my questions and made it easier for me to understand. Thank you Daniel for your good customer service. This here is the business to use if your a yelper and read these reviews. Dave, from Northeast Florida Heating & Air, is the best. Knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly.Had a serious issue with mold build-up in my air handler. He disassembled the unit, clean it, treated the interior with germicide, re-taped tears in ductwork, re-assemblked, and set-up the system/thermostat.I would definitely recommend NEFHA.

Northeast Florida Heating and Air Recently did a job for the Company I work for (3) 10 ton and (1) 7.5 ton Heat pump units . We placed a very short time commitment on them to complete this project. This company did an excellent and very high quality Job. They deserve the 5 stars for sure.

Hi my name is Tanya and Northeast Fla Heating & Air will be the only HVAC company I will ever use for the rest of my life unless we move out of this area and cant get them to come to wherever we are. Now I know thats a very strong statement but there is a reason for it. My story with NEFH&A started almost 7 years ago when my wonderful mother-in-law paid to have a new heating and AC unit installed in my home. Her great granddaughters were moving in with us and our old system was dying and she didnt want her great grandbabies to be hot. She picked the top of the line Trane system and it has been the best ac unit weve ever had until almost 3 months ago. My husband called NE out to do the yearly maintenance on our unit inside and out and everything was great until a week later when we started getting a red light flashing on the inside unit. We called NE back out, they checked everything but no red light and everything was fine. 2 days later the red light was back and so were the techs. This went on for about 2 months, everything was checked and ruled out as the cause. Matthew got involved and started contacting Tranes headqhuarters to try to get the problem resolved which they finally did by replacing all of the electronic boards in our unit. We only paid for the first service call and because our unit is still under warranty for parts we paid nothing. The techs came out a total of 11 times some of them on Saturdays. In my opinion they went above and beyond what other companies would have done. Not once did I ever get an Oh its you again. Whats wrong this time?LOL The people at Northeast Florida heating and air were always super nice always professional and always very helpful. My hats off to Tracy who was always answering the phone whenever I called and especially to Matthew who was diligent like a bulldog he was not going to give up until he found out exactly what was wrong with our system and got it fixed so it was running like new. And it is running like new. Thats why I said they are my heating and air conditioning company for life. Not only that but my mother-in-law has been using them for 25 years. So with us this company is a family thing. We really do want to thank them for fixing our system . Trane is one of the best out there and we really appreciate everything they did to get it working like its supposed to.

Punctuality for the installation and great customer service.

My home warrenty company chose this awful company to do our work order. They had the work order number on thursday. Today i called wondering why no one has come or called me. The rude lady on the phone looked up my name and said nope. No work order here. So of course i got upset and asked what i should do. She said call your home warrenty company back. I called my husband instead who called northeast heating and air, and they pulled the work order up in 2 minutes. I was not rude or anything to the lady on the phone. Why would she say it wasnt there when it was? I should have gotten her name because i want her fired. Im living in 90 degree heat and they dont care at all. We said it was an emergency THURSDAY BUT STILL NO ONE HAS COME.
