The hygienist was very respectful, polite, kind and caring this is why I will make Dove dentistry my new dentist office!!!! Dentist offices need more hygienists like her!

I had an amazing first experience two years ago. Friendly staff and doctors. Well, two years later and my tooth filling has came out. That’s no biggie and it’s not their fault. However, I called to schedule an appointment and a rude/pushy receptionist was not interested in scheduling my appointment. She stated a doctor has quit and she has no idea what they’re going to do about my tooth. All I wanted to know was if they were able to correct it the day of my visit. The unnecessary rudeness and rush like tone is unprofessional. Please work on it.

Called Dove Family Dentistry this morning about a bad tooth ache and they let me come in today and fixed me right up. Other dentist offices couldn’t see me for another week or two. Dove Family Dentistry fixed me up and already scheduled my next appointment which is still sooner than the first available date that other dentist offices had. They went above and beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely amazing service and customer care. I went in nervous due to not seeing a dentist in a couple years- but they made me feel welcomed, laughed with me, explained everything thoroughly, and worked quickly with me to help get me out as soon as possible. I had assistant Irene Tate and Doctor Breon Douglas working with me and they were wonderful- loved it being such a warming and welcoming environment. Will definitely be coming back!

I’m just trying to figure out why the one review I saw was bad. I give this place a 10 out of 10! The staff was amazing and so helpful. My son is Autistic and they were sooooo good with him. It was truly a beautiful site to see. They treated my daughter like they had known her forever. I set them back up for their 6 month cleaning and also I set appointments for me and my husband. Great team and clean environment!!!

I went in to get my teeth fixed not to be discriminated against! I called earlier this morning for an appointment and I informed the lady that answered the phone I had chipped my tooth. I came in to see Dr. Wright whom my family and friends have been going to for 30 years. Mrs Breton Douglas was at the front desk attending to the receptionist duties. To make a long story short we did the examination and the young lady brought me a menu of things I needed to have done, I circled the two things I wanted taken care of today. So the young lady took the menu back to Mrs. Douglas who was still at the front desk among other patients. Keep in mind that I am in the 1st office in the dentist chair waiting for service when I hear Mrs Douglas speaking loudly to the young lady presenting to her the work I would like to have done about my finances without any regard for my privacy as a patient of Dove Family Dentistry and shortly after I was asked out of the dentist chair and was asked to pay before my services were done. When I asked Mrs Douglas “since when does a customer pay before service given”, her reply was “This is not Dr Wright‘s office’. After already being discriminated against now I was being put in my place it seemed. So I asked if I could just pay for the service that I had already received so far. The bill was $75 so I handed her a $100 bill which Mrs Douglas couldn’t find change for. I asked, “Would you prefer a card ?” She replied sarcastically “Oh you have a card?” This statement, along with her previous actions, made me feel as though she judged me according to my race or looks or something. I have never felt so belittled, especially in a time of need. I’m sure this is not an isolated event because her actions seemed so second nature.

This is one of the greatest Dentist office in the city of Jackson. They not only make sure you are comfortable they care. They demonstrate this within every visit and every meeting. They are truly worth every star wish i could give them more.

TLDR: don’t get silver amalgam! The dentist suggested it and now I am looking up places to remove all of them that I did here two months ago...The team is wonderful and everyone is friendly and does their best to tend to your needs. However, I am giving it a three star review because of my experience with Dr. Wright. I am sure he is a good man but as a dentist, I have never experienced a more uncomfortable situation in my life. First time, my earrings almost got ripped out of my ear because he was leaning on my ear with his arm while working on my teeth and prodded everywhere in my mouth with the tools. The filling was done poorly and hurt for a month before I finally went back in. I was hoping it would heal on its own but it turns out the filling was not done properly and did not bond which caused pain. I went back to get it fixed and Dr. Wright was impatient with the numbing shot. Before the 15 minutes, he started and I had to stop him because I could feel the drill on my tooth so he just injected another, waited a few, then continued. Now, the bond is better so there is no pain but there is still a gap. I just floss after every meal but today, a hard piece fell in. I flossed it out but it caused a throbbing pain for 25 ish minutes. So to anyone who actually reads this, if you ever need a filling, the safer bet is the white filling! Silver is not bondable (google about it too! there is more cons about it) and it hasn’t even been two months since I got this filling redone and I’m looking into places that replace silver fillings...

I called Dove dentistry on June the second for an emergency visit. I spoke with the receptionist and told her what was going on. She was so very kind to me and treated me like a friend. She asked me if I could be there the following day. I had called at least six different dentist and could not get in,nor did they care to help me. I just want to say thank you to the dentist and staff at Dove dentistry for treating me like a friend and not like just another patient.

Gave a bad review because they cancelled my appointment for last week, rescheduled for the 7th of July. Then I get this text message canceling my appointment again. I cant eat properly because Ive been without my teeth caps since the shutdown.Update they have really stepped up their game. When I need a an appointment its right away. My mouth feels 100%better.

I wouldve gave a higher review but I came in for a annual check-up threw my insurance. It seemed everything was okay but the screen they gave me was not covered under my insurance.Now because they screwed up I got to pay for it their mistake. Beware that this dont happen to you!Update no one has contacted me on this issue. So now you need to beware they dont care if they screw up or not. These people are very unqualified. Have no idea what theyre doing. Nothing but trash that works there. I would find somewhere else to go.
