I had an LG Washer with a LE error. Everywhere on the internet including LGs own youtube video state the most common issues with the error are a faulty rotor sensor or a wire harness. Both parts are under $40 to replace. Technician came out for a $85 up front fee, played around with the diagnostic mode to watch the lack of spin in the washer and didnt check anything physical just listened. He then left and called a few hours later to give me two repair options that being to replace the motor or replace the washer bearings. Couldnt tell me which, mainly because he didnt look at either. The lowest estimate was $350. That spurred me to try myself with what the internet says is the common issue. I got some OEM $11 sensor off Amazon with next day shipping, plugged it into the rotor myself and machine now works just fine.Im kicking myself now in hindsight for even paying to have the guy come out when he did nothing but listen to try and diagnose where the problem was and then didnt even determine what was the actual problem before giving a repair cost. So either save yourself some money by going else where, or play the cost roulette game with this company.
