It was alright. Just be prepared to not find any workers, and 1 register open, and slow service. And then when you finally do see them(the workers) they seem like they have an attitude. This is why people are going online. Poor customer service, attitudes, and the workers acting like you are getting on their nerves, and they really do not want to be at work...
Our call was made to the appliance department for a refrigerator water filter for our Kenmore side by side. We have been buying our filters from the Sears at Parks Mall in Arlington Texas for years. However we had an unfortunate conversation with one of your associates on Sunday May 3, 2020 around the 4pm hour. I am really sorry that I didnt get her name. My husband had her on speaker so I heard the conversation.He was asking about the Kenmore refrigerator water filter and if they had them and were they available for pickup (understanding stores arent open for walk in but some stores allow you to pickup. So we were inquiring if that was possible). The lady told us no and it was for shipment only. This is where it turned not so pleasing. My husband explained to her that we had a few times where they were shipped to us over the years and when we got them either one or both tips were damaged. Not sure where it happened but needless to say they were damaged all the same. This lady obviously didnt want to hear this and she took defense. By saying that she hadnt ever heard of that happening before in the 7 years that she had been working there. And didnt think that ever happened. Then she told us that you werent able to buy this filter in stores. Which wasnt true because we have been buying our water filter from the Sears at Parks Mall for years. And had bought one just a few months ago. Needlessly to say my husband cut this call short and hung up on the associate. Before he said something that he didnt want to say.
After filing for bankruptcy the Sears Appliance Repair service is the pits. No one cares. I bought all 4 appliances from Sears and purchased extended warranties on all of them. All 4 have had problems with them within the warranty period. As I said Sears does not care. A part for my refrigerator freezer was ordered more than 3 weeks ago and no one has called to tell me if the part has arrived or not. SEARA SERVICE SUCKS
The people at this store are great, and I have always gotten exactly the right amount of help. They are also knowledgeable about what they have, or will find someone who can answer a question.Its a shame to see this store closing, because its really a very good retail experience, especially compared to Walmart and places like that..
Great repairmen. Very knowledgeable about our product. This was routine maintenance on our washer and dryer. They took time to explain some routine items that could extend useful life of the machines.

I was very pleased with the oven repair. The tech did what he needed to do in order to get it working again and he was successful in pretty short order. I do not know the level of complexity of the repair, but it required pulling the unit out of the wall, diagnostics, etc.The technician called before he arrived and all that was well within the time frame that we had agreed to.There was no hard sell of a warranty or anything like that, which I was grateful for. Whenever one of the appliances goes out I call SEARS Home Repair. I have been doing that for years and it has worked out pretty well.GP

Employee called when he was delayed with previous customer which I really appreciated. When he arrived he went right to work and was through.My refrigerator still isnt repaired. Cools to 60 degrees only. It was a month yesterday when I first called Sears. Im calling again this morning to try to get something done.
First technician came out at 8:30 am did a fifteen minute maintenance on the dryer & wouldnt even touch or do the maintenance on the washer when I mentioned it had a leak, he told me he was maintenance, not repair & put in a repair ticket. Second technician came out about noon, determined the problem & ordered the parts, something the first tech could have done & saved Sears from having to send out another tech & saved me hours of having to wait around. Tariq was awesome, told me to let him know when the parts arrived & he would come right out & get them installed, even before the scheduled appointment.
I cant give 5 stars because originally my service was scheduled for between 8am and noon. The technician showed after 3pm. Sears did inform me early on about the delay but it wasnt something like a snow storm that backed things. The technician when she did arrive was professional, answered all of my questions and appeared to have completed the work successfully.
A lot of the bad reviews are about parts direct, keep in mind that Parts Direct is NOT A PART OF SEARS!! They are a 3rd party vendor who work out of sears so sears has zero responsibility for what they do. I received great customer service here and refuse to go to any other sears location that isnt this one. I drive all the way from mesquite for this sears.

The cashiers in general are nice and the store is good. The thing that I find it very inconvenient is that the store manager is never there. There is never anyone higher up than the manager below him. My guess is he never works and leaves the other managers to deal with the store alone. Whenever I want to speak tot he store manager and not the the other managers below him they alway say hes gone for the day etc etc. What kind of manager leaves at 1pm? Poor management skills

I had a great experience with the technician who came to repair my dryer. He was on time and he knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. He was very informative and gave me some advice on how to fix the problem in case the same problem incurred again. I was very pleased with the outcome. I was ready to buy a new dryer.

The repairman was nice. But niceness did not repair my refrigerator. He did not know as much about my refrigerator as i did. He argued with me that my refrigerator light could not come on and off as a course of the error light until i showed him that it did.. he was notably durprised and embarrassed. And the error lite that was on on my refrigerator its still on. And he did not know for sure which thing that I needed to do to fix it What was the point of having an expert.. I did better over the Internet. Very disappointed Sears.
Worst experience ever! They put a part on my dishwasher that it did not need and I have been fighting with them for two weeks to get a refund of that part and the labor costs to install it. Their Customer Solutions Department is a joke!
The service tech was extremely knowledgeable about every thing on my crummy Samsung refrigerator. He was also very nice and didnt treat me like I was an idiot. If, I should say when I have more trouble I will ask for him to come out again.

The technician arrived did diagnostics tests Charles me $182.00 and the problem started again with my dryer not 1 hour after he left.Nothing was fixed! Next available appointment was a week later. Didnt fix it and I had to wait...terrible customer service and they want to charge me another $79.00 to walk in the door!Sears has become one of the most unreliable American companies.Myself and friends based on this and similar experiences they have had will never shop or recommend Sears again.
Horrible. Adam didnt know what he was doing and Jade tried to sell me a used pressure washer that she claimed was the display model. The elderly lady was the most helpful and told me the pressure washer was used and had missing parts. If not for the elderly lady, I probably would be more disgusted with sears right now.

Sears home service let me know what was going every step of the way. While all home service repair feels expensive, this all felt very fair. My dish washer works great, I dont feel like I over paid and I felt very comfortable that the job was done correctly.

Sears asked me to review their repair service. Honestly, it was not a smooth experience.I bought a fridge from their outlet that had more than cosmetic damage. It was freezing up monthly and cost me several hundred dollars in spoiled food. Ultimately it turns out the bearings in the freezer pull out were bad and the freezer didnt close all the way despite looking closed.First repair guy ordered parts and set a follow-up appointment. Sears then called to say not all the parts arrived and they were cancelling my appointment. They couldnt track how many packages were being sent and didnt have the correct part numbers.The next day a new repair guy came out not knowing if we had all the parts but it turns out we did (no reason to cancel my previous appointment). He had the freezer open for a while so all the ice melted into one big glob and he didnt clean out the ice maker when he put it back in the freezer.So since the slide assembly repair for the freezer my fridge isnt making ice so Ill have to have them out again to fix that.

One manager couldn’t speak English, so that was an issue. I came in to exchange a gift for a more expensive product and somehow “the system” wouldn’t let them without a receipt. So don’t buy your products or your gifts here.

The service technician incorrectly diagnosed the problem as being the electrical outlet. I paid an electrician to come out who told me it wasnt the outlet after all. GE repair came and fixed the appliance correctly. I called for a refund from Sears and was told that someone would call me back within 24 hours, which has never come. Do not use this service.

I had the most horrible experience with Sears Appliance Repair Service. I had broken the microwave glass to my Kitchen oven/microwave combo unit and had ordered a replacement glass. In the meantime I called Sears to make an appointment, mentioning that I had already ordered a replacement glass. The customer service rep told me that was fine but because it was a microwave repair the minimum trip charge would be $249 but that would include an hour of labor. Their regular trip charge is $89. The high charge was because of the possibility of radiation exposure due to a microwave. I was skeptical but agreed wanting a quick fix.I was given an arrival time between 10:00am and 2:00pm. The technician gave me a call around 11:00am and said he was going to be there soon. At 2:05pm when he had still not arrived, I called the Sears customer service number and got a recording that my service time had changed to 2:00-3:45pm!!! Nobody had called me to inform me of this change. I called another number to speak with a representative about this change and while I was on the phone the technician arrives at 2:15pm.He begins to work on the glass and asks me to give him a hand because it was clearly a two person job. While I am hold the door open he begin to install the glass and when he is tightening it, it shatters!! A glass that I had ordered and payed $160 for. I cleaned up the mess while he ordered a newglass. Mistakes happen and I was pretty calm until he tells me that I owed him $249 for labor!! I told him I felt that was not just considering that the job was not completed and on top of it the glass I had payed for was now broken. He said he would replace the glass but I still owed him $249. I told him I was going to call Sears to speak with a manager. I called their customer service number several times and was constantly be transferred or cut off. Frustrated and feeling helpless I finally talked to a lady and explained the situation to her. She kept putting me on hold and when I asked if I could speak directly with a supervisor she told me that she was the most senior person I could talk to. The best she could offer me was a discount of $50. I still owed them $200. I told her that was unacceptable and after being placed on hold again she said the final of was a discount of $65 and I stilled owed Sears $185!!I told her that I was not willing to pay that and that could I please speak to someone more senior. At this point she started pretending that she could not hear me!! The line was crystal clear and I could even hear her tapping away at the keyboard. She reels of a case number and phone number and claims that she is hanging up on me because she cannot hear me!!!I was speechless and the. Livid with anger because the technician who was waiting for me sigh a job completed slip tells me that Sears Customer Service Reps do this all the time. He said he sees this happen all the time and that had he ordered the part he could have charged me for labor performed and that he should have just walked away when he found out that the part had been ordered by the customer!! I told him Sears was aware of this because I had mentioned it when I made theappointment. He left and I finally managed to speak to another representative who told me to file a formal complaint!!! Putting all the blame on the technician even though their customer service was just as aweful. I will NEVER use Sears again. They are arrogant and have no regard for doing the right thing. They have ZERO integrity. I would them ZERO stars if I could. They dont deserve to be in business.
We bought a dishwasher from Sears, a Kenmore. It was a nightmare getting sears scheduled to install. Now it turns out that the dishwasher won’t drain. Repeated calls with up to 5 transfers only yielded a lecture from the so-called customer service agent about being hostile. No attempts to help just lectures.

Just recently has a HUGE issue with that location. When I purchased a part thru the parts direct department someone stole my card number and made a purchase of $130. I waited for the charge to drop off in hopes that it was accident but turns out that it wasnt and now my bank is opening a fraud case on them. Needless to say, I will never return to that location.

Two visits, two no shows, $200.00 spent, and a dishwasher that still doesnt function properly!I do not recommend!!Ive discontinued all service with Sears after a horrible experience, several no shows and a dishwasher that was never fixed. After a dozen attempts to talk with a local customer service representive I was finally refunded my money with the exception of a diangostic fee; although I felt they never diagnosised anything! Because of his horrible experience and I will probably never use Sears again for anything! Its never a good idea to outsource your customer service call center to a small village in the Philippines.

Well I scheduled for both washer and dryer to be repaired only had the dryer checked the tech said he didnt get order for the washer. Very disappointed and no one ever called me back
Paid $200 for a for switch. Waited 9 days for it to arrive and serviceman to come back. When he came back he said the part delivered was not a door sim witch but a thermistor.. He fiddled with tmstuff and decided he would call customer service if my dryer brand, Amana. Amana customer service walked him through various press these two buttons for 3 seconds then turn dial and hold down that button for 9 seconds etc. after 30min they had reset the brain and dryer worked!!! Great right? No. He then said by a miracle my thermistor was out! He never ordered a thermistor, it magically and randomly appeared instead of the part he did order (door switch which was not broken) and he charged me another $179 for labor and part of thermistor. Ridiculous scam. Never again

The store is closing so they have things for 10% to 40% off. No where does it say final sale. Also when you check out, the cashiers dont tell you before making the purchase.They just put a stamp on the receipt. So unless you really like it buy it because you cant return of exchange.
