These apartments are by far my favorite place I have lived in my past 6 years of apartment life! My new place is beautiful and I have had no issues in my unit. The staff is super friendly. Andrea is always so fun and has made me feel valued as a resident of this community. You can really tell they care and are trying hard to improve this property despite facing the hardships of Covid-19. All of my neighbors are so kind and caring, I always feel safe here! Thank you so much to the MacArthur team and keep up the hard work! Hope to be here for quite a while.
Ive been living here for awhile now and I really love it! My apartment is beautiful and spacious. The 3 women in the office always seem to look out for me and try to work with me to the best of their abilities. Morgan is the kindest and extremely helpful. I go to her whenever I need something fixed which isnt often and she makes sure it gets done as soon as possible. Morgan truly makes me feel valued as a resident as well as the rest of the front office staff.

Love my apartment. Ive lived here for a good while now and can see some good changes happening. And if an issue arises in my unit its address promptly.Mrs. Delilah and her staff are amazing. Ive never had a bad experience always respectful and polite. I do recommend MacArthur park and no Im not getting a discount for a good review just giving credit where credit is due.
If I could give this apartment 0 starts I would! I have lived here for 19 years and this new management is the most horrible of them all. Please go and take your money elsewhere…they charge 1,200-1,600 a month for the worst service in the world. My bathroom ceiling had been leaking for 2 weeks, they came, broken everything up, left a mess, and didn’t even fix it (saying they didn’t have the supplies). They came weeks later and said we just need to analyze it so we can get all the supplies. On top of that when asked for a carpet cleaning they set an appointment but they will never come! When you ask them when the cleaner will come they say we don’t know maybe 12-3am. Have you ever heard of a carpet cleaner coming at 3am for a routine clean!! My neighbors have told me their toilets don’t work, the maintenance workers have stolen from their apartments, cabinets are broken, and due to the winter storm even the laundry area hasn’t been repaired due to the pipes bursting and the list goes on and on! The management is so rude, disrespectful, and don’t care about you or your living space. All they care about is the rent and whatever else money they can squeeze out of you! Delilah always has an attitude and is very rude. You bring up an issue to them, they get offended, and then disregard you (as well as speak in an awfully loud tone). They all need to get re-trained in customer service. Don’t even bother calling corporate because they don’t care either. If anything I have heard amazing news about the apartments next door.

What I loved about this place is very convenient in everything & have privacy in my unit. The neighbors arounds me are very nice and respect me. Its very convenient in everything, hospital, store, intersection, my work and the price for rent is unbeatable. thank you for sending a maintenance right away to fix my sink ejector and your maintenance Bruno (believed his name) did outstanding job yesterday and funny. Due to my experienced I am giving five (5) starts for all your outstanding service.In addition even Anna is no longer there giving her kudos for doing an outstanding service before Covid and missed her so badly.
I used to really love where I live. However, the new management that took over a few months ago do not fix anything anymore. They are more worried about outside appearances of trees rather than whats happening inside. The solution to my leaking shower is for the upstairs neighbor that just moved In is for then to just stop using theirs. The gates stopped working when they showed up letting everyone come and go as they please Parking has progressively worse. They tried to assign parking but thats a fail because they dont tow/hold people accountable. The pool stays dirty on the bottom. All COVID, I was only 1 week late in rent, they worked with me but I worked late the last day rent was due this month, and called immediately the next morning but they did not care to help me even though I work for the state. Ive had animal(s) chewing/scratching in my wall for over a month and was told post control would come. They didnt. I have ants and roaches now, and left a message with the office. I pay for pest control but nothing has changed. They didnt care so now Just over it. No need for a response from owner, Im leaving. Oh and the second review is correct. The pool is closed bringing me down to 1 star.There is more. So now my second bathroom leaks and the maintenance man said that I may have to pay for it because I informed them the second day water is coming up from my second bathroom floor. I went up to my neighbor that just moved in and their ac is leaking into a bucket for over a week and they have to empty it every day. Meanwhile there is additional maintenance to the pool area. Do I have to pay rent when the apartment is not doing maintenance inside?
Very poor management.. its a gated community but always the gates are Open. Its a summer...but swimming pools are closed, if we ask they say you can use, but its never cleaned....If any issue raise a service ticket. But no response few days...if you call and ask leasing office they will say looking in to it but it takes a days to resolve....the community is okay but is very poor management. I stayed last 3 years now tied up, so planning to move out.
Okay, So we stopped getting hot water last Saturday and I myself felt bad for calling multiple times for that issue.. today is Wednesday evening and They keep on saying the same that your maintenance request is already placed..!!! I’m so fed up with the maintenance, i understand the amount of requests they get and respect their time but I’m TOTALLY vexed now.!! How can someone bath with ice cold water for five long days??Some or the other issue always comes here - first the AC dripping then the AC stopped working and later the squirrels ate the fiber cables hence we are out of wifi for two days and now this is the second time we placed hot water request!! Unbelievable!!!!
I wish there was a zero star! I’m a current resident. Take the date of this review and ask if they are the same leasing office management when you come here.The current leasing office management is the reason I give this rating. 1. They don’t address emergency requests - even things like fire emergency. Be cautious before you take lease here. 2. None of the public use machinery ever works in the community 3. There is always some work going on - and leasing office says they don’t have any control when they come and work so they can’t notify us LOL 4. Workers live all around the community and play loud music - again leasing office has no control LMAOTop of it all, they threaten to block you from extending lease. Extending lease here is the single biggest mistake I did this year!
I would give a zero rating if it allows me to do so!!! The AC has been dripping for almost a week and they sent someone to fix it after a week and the day after he fixed the dripping the whole AC unit stopped working! I wonder how many more days they are gonna take to fix this AC in this horrible climatic conditions

The Changes Management is making a wonderful job for the first time in many years. I am renewing my contract thanks to Dallila la G.M. He convinced us with his kindness and his work we are very happy to renew here. also for the first time someone puts order here this place was a disaster everyone makes what they wanted. If you are looking for a place to live in Las Colinas this is the place. Thank you Delilah, you are the best.
If you scroll down my daughter has written what we have been going through for the past few months. Ganga has only been the helpful one out of the entire management. You can see that they responded to my daughters review by saying we are happy with their service and there is some type of miscommunication. There is no miscommunication with anyone…they don’t care! They will say that maintenance will come on Tuesday, when Tuesday rolls around and you call the office they will say that we heard wrong and there is some type of miscommunication. When my daughter went to the office to speak with Delilah she spoke to her in a disrespectful way. No one should be spoken to like that. With this new management it has been an awful experience. Like I said Ganga deserves 5 stars because she is the only one who truly cares for her residents.
It is the first time in many years that the managment is Doing its Job, finally making this property measure up to las Colinas. Before it was a shame to live here. I am renewing my contract for one more year thanks to Dalila the G.M. best Customer service, for the first time someone cares. Changes are obvious. Thank you Dalila for your Excellent work. This positive approach really made us to confirm MacArther is our shelter in Irving.Everyone in the front office is very responsive and listen all our queries with patience. After I have been moved here, she has taken extra care for all my queries and addressed on time as well. This helped my family to settle without any problem in the living house. Been living here for a couple months and its been the best . manager is the BESTTT ! gets things done quick . and the area is great .
I would give 0 star to them if possible. I lived across 7 different cities and coast to coast over last 10 years and this is the worst community I ever lived. Absolutely NO attention to resident problems once you move-in and their tone literally changes soon as you move-in. You can also kiss good bye to your deposit because when you move-out they will have tons of reasons to deduct almost entire part of your deposit.If they pay attention to residents problems, they wont have to give 4 to 8 weeks free for new resident. Almost, no apartment community in Irving offers free weeks and they have to offer 4 to 8 weeks because they cant find enough people move in and once those move-in will never renew lease !
Maintenance requests are slow. My car was towed from apartments when I was out of town. I am primary lease holder. They do not have courtesy to inform me by email/phone. After 10 days I received notice from towing company and asked huge amount for towing.
Apartment from HELL. I am a current resident. I have had the worst experience living in this complex. First the complex has had several different office staff, leasing agents. Obtaining one month of free rent is not worth the headache of living in this dump. Hot water does not get hot. Apartment has flooded twice. constant pest control problems, no light switches in bedrooms, electrical outlets in both of my bedrooms dont work. I have placed multiple work orders. maintenance only temporarily fixes the problems. Office staff could care less about the problems I am currently facing living in Mac Arthur Park apartments.

I notice great change since new staff took over in November. They are always at the office and ready to speak with you.
Maintenance request are pathetic, the ac unit is dripping water from last week, raised several tickets, nobody is responding neither they have courtesy to tell a timeline by which this would be done, please stay away from this apartments, worth not staying here.
MacArthur Park has been my home for some time now and Im glad to call it home. My children and I love to be at the pool during the summer. The office personnel Michelle and Brittney are fun, attentive and kind. When maintenance is needed they work together to fix any issue Ive requested. Robert and Martine, the maintenance team, have great personalities and good work ethics. Thank you MacArthur Park!
I have been at this apartment for almost 6 years. It was great at first, timely repairs, special events for children, pool and spa, exercise room, everything was in pretty good shape even if it was older. However over the past year everything has changed.We have lost mail, had maintenance requests ignored, eviction notices posted even when we had sent payment receipt s multiple times to office management. Spa has not worked in ages, most exercise equipment is damaged or only partially works. Now all maintenance requests I submit just say closed, sent to corporate via email.I have escalated issues to a VP of Adara and had conversations with them over the phone trying to get things solved. During the communication maintenance showed up and looked into some of the issues however to date I have had to open numerous requests and still have holes in my ceiling, windows that literally dump water in when it rains. I have submitted videos, pictures, everything I can to think maybe ... So I went month to month thinking if they thought they were going to lose a tenant they may do something, however this did nothing. Calls to the office trying to resolve issues the office seemed to want to help.I tried my best to live here and be a decent tenant, however at this time as soon as I am able I am leaving and I just hope the management either is able to turn things around or the Adara communities support is improved so management is not blamed for a terrible lack of support from above.Good luck and at this time I can not recommend anyone to live at this complex, however in the past I referred people here so it has changed a lot and hopefully time will be kind to the complex.
I recently toured with Cindy and immediately put in an application. I was completely impressed with the community, and property manager Cindy gave me a thorough and detailed tour of the property. I felt so welcomed by her. So excited to move in!! Thank you
Stay away from this Apartment, the current management is rude and horrible. They changed the lease termination policy to 2 months of months and 80% of relating fees which is even fine. But now they are enforcing that the tenant is responsible for the rest of the lease term to pay the rent until they get the new tenant, when you are breaking the lease with proper notice. Currently due to the new management approach almost 40-50% of the units are vacant and they are taking the rent of vacating unit in this manner. For any reason if you are moving be ready to pay for the remaining leasing term even though you give proper notice.
No one reached out to me on phone/mail/email after vacating the apartment. ON top of it they sent the new charges to collection agency. Please stay away from MacArthur Park apartments, unless you want to mess up your CREDIT HISTORY.
I would like to give the ratings in minus, but I am not able to do. This is the terrible community which I never lived-in. The asst. manager, he is kind of rude guy, we should always listen to his words, but he doesnt allow the opposite person to talk anything. He doesnt fit for this role. For the long running with maintaining good status, the management should change this guy. The maintenance is an another painful thing here, they simply close out the tasks without doing anything. I also heard from other friends that, they didnt handover the apartment properly at the time of move-in, but they charged too much at the time of leaving, even if we do the proper clean up. They simply dont want to give back your deposit amount. Earlier the management was good when Cyndy was a manager, but this guy making lot of troubles to the residents. There are some other nearest communities, which are good. BETTER TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
I went into the office and the staff was super nice and helpful. The nice African American gentleman seemed like he knew his stuff...I was surprised that he was only the Assistant, I believe he should be promoted. Valencia was main person who helped me, gave me very informative information she was a very sweet young girl. You guys are in my top choices for sure.

If you are looking for a good living apartment, kindly stay away from this one. Recent changes in the management residence not being treated well when we complain or address the concerns in leasing office. Staying a while for this community I regret after the recent management change and not recommending to any one. Lot of good apartments near by and plenty of options.
The staff here is very friendly. The leasing woman named Valencia was very nice. She greeted me when I came in the door. Ive been to other apartments & the staff didnt make me feel welcome.
Went to ask questions forgot my ID so I wasnt able to tour, and can I just say that Valencia is such a sweetheart. I was nervous going in there and left feeling great. My questions were answered and she even helped explain the process of the application, move in, and my questions about move out. Forever grateful with Valencia.
I have been a resident for almost 10 years. Best place in the world to live. Anytime there is a request to fix something or if you need help with appliances, they are there for you. The manager and staff are the sweetest and most understanding people in the world!! They truly care about their residents. I love them ( Cindy, Clair and Nikki) and cherish their friendship. The location is ideal and the area is clean and protected!! Come get one of these apartments, youll love it too!!!
Amazing Staff. Every apartment has issues, its the way the staff handles them that determines how good the livable conditions are. Nikki and Cindy has always been responsive and handles the situation almost immediately. Never was I disappointed with the service. Those are the best staff members i have seen in all the apartments I have been.
OMG!!! What a wonderful experience I’ve had. I moved into my apartment 2 weeks ago. The staff, management, and my apartment have been absolutely amazing. I am in complete shock and awe when I read some of these negative comments. I wonder if we are actually commenting on the same place. I would recommend MacArthur Park to all my friends and relatives. I have been here for the past 6 months and this has been the best property I have live in. Office staff is very nice with all the residents,always makes you feel like youre important and maintenance always stays on top of the work orders. I recommend MacArthur Park for anyone looking for apartments!!

Do not believe the 5 star reviews. They are giving away discounts on rent when you agree to leave one. With that being said, What a terrible apartment complex. The staff are just absolutely rude. The young black gentleman in the office, is it Brad or Greg, or Craig, he has no business even being a part of a customer service oriented environment. It is like he thinks he can say anything to you. Absolutely rude. I see reviews on here where people say the 1 star reviews are lies, but where there is smoke there is fire and I wish I had taken the advice. I do not understand why a place would want to treat residents with disrespect, I am not ordering a hamburger, I am trying to enjoy my home, my sanctuary away from the horrible world that is already out there but let me tell you about the pest such as ants, roaches, and termites. I wish I had lived here when this place got 5 star reviews, but it is clear to me and my family that the sun has set on deceit management here. I see reviews that say to stay away, I wish I had. Dont be like me. Pray for this place and the residents. They are at the mercy of bad property management. Until the management do right by us, everything, everything they think about is going to crumble.

Though MacArthur Park apartments are old but you will start loving this place once you stay. Staff responds amazingly well to your requests, the community is very good, you will find most of the shopping complexes and grocery stores near by apartment.The service requests are handled in a very timely manner till now.The only suggestion I wanted to give to management is please change the carpet type it looks pretty dark/black and ugly if sun light does not fall on carpet.
No...I am not being paid nor given a discount for this review. Ive lived here for 3 years and in a different apt each year, downsizing as my children left home. Ive faced numerous challenges in those 3 years (job loss, illness, etc.). The staff and management have been good to me! The complex is quiet, close to everything and clean. I have not seen one bug in any of the units I have occupied. Maintenance has always been very responsive to service requests (Ive never waited more than a couple of hours for someone to address an issue). There have been many staff changes but, Michelle is back and committed to keeping the community a great place for residents.
I went in and the staff was super nice and helpful which believe it or not is hard to find these days. They really took their time and made me feel comfortable.
I have close friends who live here and they are having major issues with their apt and managements willingness to do anything about it. This has been going on for a very long time. Something needs to be done about these people and the way they treat their tenants
These guys are honest. The complex is beautiful and is well maintained all year around. I loved the office staff while I was a resident. Lots of working folks at this complex. Everyone very friendly, super quiet environment.
My family and I are moving to Texas from Florida and the staff here was AMAZING and super helpful with getting us approved and getting us into our new home from states away! We can’t wait to be there!
Been at this apartment complex for a month. The staff is great and it’s very quiet here. Overall it’s been a great experience!!!!!!!!!!!! If your looking for a quiet community for your family, I would choose this place. Lastly the school is close and has high ratings!
I am surprised to see the negative ratings for this apartment. I have been around Irving area for the past 1.5 years and this is the best apartment I have come across. Very friendly staff, timely maintenance, quiet and calm even though it is close to the highways. It is an old and small apartment but suffice the purpose. Kindly check out the apartments in Hidden Ridge area and then you will know how good the Mac Arthur staff and community are. The staff would explain the entire lease document to you and they are very transparent in leasing process.
Bye MacArthur😩 I recently moved out, ONLY because I landed a job in California as the new management has made so many great differences and I would have definitely stayed. Funny how these negative commentators don’t even have pictures and are friends of friends and don’t even live here. Honestly, this place has started to clean up well as a lot of “people” would leave their shoes, furniture and all types of junk outside of their homes? Like WT!!! Who does that....... nasty people! Finally, the new management that has been in place for like the last 3 months or so has cleaned up the hallways and grounds, the office looks much better and people seem to be mad as a lot of “them” were allowed to be nasty, do whatever they wanted and the previous management did nothing. You can even read most of the reviews and easily see from the type of people leaving them (fakers), that they are liars and not even residents. Thanks Kyren, Valencia, Jack, Robert and Adara for an amazing last 2 1/2 years! I’m going to miss you all so much!😘
This Apartment is poorly ran, it has terrible floors so expect lots of neighbor noise. The lease is un-breakable, this is your first clue. The place needs a total upgrade, the gym is years behind. The carpet is very old and my bathroom has mold that I told them about on move in day. Nothing has been done. Avoid at all costs.
Worst Apt community to live in. Dont get fooled by the manangement on ur first visit to sign lease. Manager is so rude and not willing to listen to any maintance or other concerns. I ll be be sending my complaints to BBB and other authorities . Stay Away.
The new management is too horrible. Mrs Leslie Hernadez thinks that we are staying in this apartment for free. She is too rude and not fit for this job. The apartment management should change this staff to keep this apartment occupied and resident happy or else this apartment will become hunted house. Check the apartment staff before you move in or else you will be losing your deposit and will not have peace stay.
Excellent community with very reasonable price in a nice location. The Staff was very friendly specially Nikki & Cindy. Service requests are on time & I never got disappointed with their service . even though the apartments are old, I would recommend these to my everyone.
There is a new team working Which creates a whole new set of problems! They have very young unprofessional ladies working there now...who do not pay attention to detail nor believe in respondingIn proper manner and sometimes rude responses too.lot of issues and everyday something not working and taps are breaking.If we complaint for AC service,the attender who comes says this is old ones we cant try too much, management has to change things.Every thing they are fixing damages within few months as it is not fixed Properly and we need to place service request and wait.Management is Keen on filling apts and getting deposits, dont care about residents queries. Nowadays even got info from friends who left the place that proper deposit amt are not given back even after doing cleaning this old apt.New Staffs has to talk to management and has to do better on responding to rental verifications and give back proper deposits
Staff is always friendly and attentive. Maintenance issues are typically addressed within a half hour of submitting a ticket. I am happy with this community and would recommend it.
My previous review has to be taken back. I wanted to write a glowing review, but unfortunately the situations with the repairs has gone completely south. Our complex hired contractors to come in and fix the foundation issues with our apartment and we were displaced for 9 days. During this time our furniture was left behind stacked neatly against the walls using the diagram provided to us showing where we could leave our things. This was all a lie. They actually went in a moved the furniture in various other places as the digging had to be done in the spots we were advised to move our items. We were told this would only be 3-4 days but again this was not true as we were evacuated for a total of 9 days. We did come time to time to inspect progress as out apartment community would not follow up with us to provide details, I find that strange. We stopped by on a few occasion and found the furniture moved and at this time undamaged. After the contractors for the foundation left the contractors came to lay our new floor. It was during this time that my Grandmothers dinning table that was handed down to me was broken. The leg and under table completely snapped off. Not to mention all of our things had been thrown around with no care in the word. It has been a nightmare trying to get this taken care of and get some kind of life back. Everyday I wake up and see my grandmothers broken table, and now everyday I have to face the fact that nothing is going to be done to make this right.. The apartment complex is saying that both contractors are denying having done this damage and it cant be pinpointed. They are insinuating that someone else came into the apartment and damaged this table. My insurance company is denying my claim as my deductible is $1000. Now the property manager is stating she is so sorry and it is a terrible situation and there is nothing to be done. I am absolutely devastated to hear that this is the solution that MacArthur Park apartments has come up with. Just apologies and no attempts to make this right. The property manager first stated she had to have meetings with the contractors but that quickly turned into the apology and admission that there was nothing that could be done (in the same call, no meetings) . Again, insurance is denying the claim and we are pending a call from Jack the GM i guess. At this time I can not in good faith recommend this place. It has been home for almost five year, but at this point I wish we were able to be somewhere else. The apartment we are in still needs a lot of work done to it, so how long before we are not able to stay there due to more repairs? There are still issues with bugs getting into the house and after the foundation work none of our doors in the apartment will close. Bathroom door has to be open all the time? Who wants to come use the bathroom in front of other people? Not me. Stay away from this place. The office has all new faces and none of them really give you any sense that they care about the needs of the renters or the lives. Upset at MacArthur Park Apartments. Not worth the price point if this is how they handle business.
This place is terrible. The office staff is incredibly rude and very unprofessional. We have way too many repairs that need to be made, but the repairs supposedly happen while you are away and are often really never taken care of. Every year we have issues with our AC and Heating, they repairmen just say well these are almost 20 year old AC units and within a few weeks it is broken again. You cant keep putting Freon in a rusted out compressor. Our complaints fall on unsympathetic ears and a staff that are unable to manage true customer service skills. I hope if you work for this horrible apartment complex that you read this and know that we are all upset with you and how you manage this place. You will lose renters and be unable to maintain your current renters. We will take to google every day if needed until this place is rated less than 3 stars until the team running this place is replaced with more mature and honest staff. No one deserves to live somewhere you are treated this way. If you are reading this and are considering living here then PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. You will not be treated like a tenant, you will not have repairs made in timely fashion and often the repairs you request will be ignored entirely. It is also worth mentioning the issues with mail and packages at this place. I have discussed with several renters at this location who experience an increase in package theft, even packages stated by UPS, USPS, and FED EX left at office suddenly become missing. The staff has no idea what you are talking about and treat you like you are lying. This place has serious issues. I regret signing on to this lease. I regret living here and paying over a thousand dollars for something you can find on Beltline Road for less and often more rooms and space. Avoid MacArthur Park at all cost! I wish i could give a half star because they are not worthy of even one.
I went into the office and Jack, (Sidenote: Who I find VERY ATTRACTIVE 😉) Valencia, Kyren were super nice and very helpful. I will keep this property in mind.
Stay away from this community because of current manager and he is not even have basic knowledge in treating/respecting the people/tenants . Not sure from where they get this kind of unprofessional s. The front office people are good. managers are the biggest problem for this community for last an year or so as they never have patience to listen and not able to resolve simple things and just need to listen whatever they say. Also there is no way to escalate the issues. Dont get attracted with current offers/promotions in the community. feel that management also never consider these comments and provide the response. also surprise to see paid reviews with 5 stars
I lived in this apartment for a year for a project at Dallas. Then I relocated. The property manager Kyren knows this and when I requested to schedule for a apartment check out walk through a month before I moved out, he denied.Then one week before I moved out, I drove back from Houston to Dallas to clean the room during a weekend. Once again requested for a walk in check, again denied. Then MacArthur Park charged me for not cleaning the room of $372.26 for a one-bedroom apartment. Main charges come from burned counter-top which when I moved in the burns were already there. The previous manager told me that it is pre-existed and I also listed on my check-in file. Now Kyren said it is done by me. Carpet damage, I had a sofa and a bed in the room which left the trace on the carpet because of the weight. Another huge charge. The most interesting thing here is that the second day, MacArthur Park came to me with an amount of 172.26... How can you come out with an amount of 0.26 when we are not going to the receipt sessions. In my mind, is that some unpaid bill from other apartment that you want me to balance?$372.26, is this an amount that worth a fight? This was the place where I used to call home.
THE BEST PLACE EVER! I am so excited that Adara has hired new and capable staff as the grounds, breezeways and property looked like it was going down before they came. You can truly see a difference in the cleanliness, how professional and timely the staff is and Kyran and Valencia are AMAZING!!! I even went in one day to get a package and met the regional Jack, and he is so funny! Believe me, the changes that they are making are going to make this property even better as I appreciate being able to come home and enjoy where I live. Trust me, the negative reviews you see are probably angry old residents who owe money, cant just live dirty and any kind of way, and really just dont like change. My apartment was clean and ready the day of my move-in, and Im now enjoying the pool and summertime fun and Ive been hear for 3 years. Sure things arent perfect, but no place is DUH! lolP.S. Its sad when happy residents like myself come to leave a review about how happy we are and read this BS, especially when you can clearly see the same group of people teaming up against the staff. Just sad.....smh
We were residents at Macarthur Park apartments, Irving, between Nov 2018-Oct 2019. We moved out because of numerous problems with the apartment. The week we moved in, our dishwasher stopped working, and had to be serviced twice. The toilet flush broke down multiple times, and maintenance crew seemingly fixed it, for it to break again in a day. We somehow survived this apartment and left when our lease expired. Apart from being in a good location, this apartment offers nothing. We were ashamed to invite any of our friends to this rundown apartment - issues being the broken toilet, painted bathtub that peeled off in a week, and dingy closets with cheap shelves. When we moved out, we cleaned the apartment thoroughly with professional help. The kitchen was left very clean, bathrooms spotless. Our toddler who had pasted some stickers on the bedroom wall, nothing a coat of paint cannot remove. Still, we were expecting some move out charges for the stickers, and broken blinds, but nothing else. When we received the final statement, we were astonished. Not only did they keep our security deposit of $250, we were charged an additional $389.50.Here is a breakdown of the charges:- Carpet Clean - $92.50 (This is a bogus charge, we had no pets, and kept the apartment very clean during our 10 month stay and returned the keys after cleaning the carpets well)- Multiple walls written on - $25 (Ok, we dont mind this charge)- Replace blinds - $38 (Ok, we had few broken blinds)- Stove vent hood grease stains - $15 (Again, a bogus charge)- Multiple kitchen/countertop stains/burns - $85(Another ridiculous charge)- Bedroom wall sticker removal - $30- Minor sheetrock repairs - $15 (No damage to the walls, no idea why this was charged)- Oven / Stove top dirty - $30 (We call this daylight robbery and outright cheating)- Replace dirty pans - $24 (Simply outrageous! We are glad they didnt think of charging for cleaning stove knobs)- Dirty toilets - $15 (again, thieving good people of hard earned money by charging falsely)- Bath sink faucet dirty - $5 (This is another false charge)- Patio Fence and Ground Markings $15 (Our toddler had drawn few lines on the patio ground using washable chalk, we were surprised, but okay, dont mind)Overall experience - Negative. If there was an option to give negative stars, we would.We will never recommend this apartment to anyone. Our friends here have had other friends who had been charged similar move out amounts for such reasons, almost every one of those being a made-up charge.BEWARE!!!! Please there are many more options in this area, and you can find better quality apartments with professional management staff.
This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. The Guy so called Manager was abrupt and rude, his attitude was a disgrace to Adara Communities management team. I will never even treated an animal, the way he treated me, disrespectful and abusive. I would rather stay under a bridge then to stay here for free. STAY away from this apartment. You will regret it!
WOW I cant believe what Im seeing in these comments. I over heard several residents at the pool stating that they would go online and make lies about the office staff and maintenance to try and get them removed because they dont like any of the changes that are taken place. The new staff has only been here for a few months, and they have already made great changes! The new manager Kyren is always ready to serve and help, and I myself have seen him get screamed and yelled at for things the old staff did. Valencia is so sweet and always smiles when I see her, so these comments are trash especially the racist ones. I have been here 7 years and this property has looked the best its ever been and things are finally getting done. I cant believe people are on here lying, because they want to do whatever they want. KUDOS TEAM, JOB WELL DONE!
I thought I’m the only person impacted by the rude behavior of the leasing office staff person with long black overcoat, but by looking into the reviews, it looks like this person is not fit for the this role. We had a bad experience while renewing the lease. This guy never let others speak and listen to the residents.We asked him to take a complaint about a problem in my apartment and he refuses to take saying he is the only person available and can’t take it. He should have asked us to raise online but very rude to refuse the request.Management must change this person for everyone’s benefit!! I was recommending all my friends earlier as the management was good during Cindy period but now, I recommend everyone to stay away from this apartment!! Pls don’t get attracted by their offers!!
LOVE IT HERE! I wanted to leave a post after witnessing someone argue loudly with the office staff about a problem that has been exsisting before they arrived, and how they calmly worked at addressing the issue even with the hateful and unfair treatment. Geesh, give them time to help before screaming and yelling... WOW. We love it here, and they have been cleaning up this place and getting it back in order. THANK GOD!!! So sad to see so many fake bad reviews and angry people, and it’s funny how they all look and sound the same?? WOW. I lived here for about an year. The best aspect of living here is the location and proximity to restaurants, grocery stores and health care services. As of staying there, i would say its relatively OK. It used to be a great place when i moved in but is gradually moving down the slope. The appliances are a bit old, i had a few problems with my dish washer frequently breaking down and sink leaking water. Also, no matter ho wmuch you clean your apartment before leaving, you do not get back your deposit. Apart from that, everything is what youll get in other apartments - NOTHING SPECIAL.
I am living in this apartment for past 5 years, but last 1 year the management staff (entire team) got changed more than 3 times. My service request kept on closing without fixing the issue and I went to inquire about my ticket, the current staff men with long jacket is rude and Impolite, he doesn’t know how to talk to the resident, he kept on saying they least bother about old request and if you like you can leave the apartment. I am trying to explain my tickets are getting closed and he doesn’t want to discuss about old tickets, he never tries to understand my concern and too rude.These leasing office staff are working for us and they are getting paid from our rent paid and their duties are to take care of the resident, the current team is horrible and they not ready to give minimum respect to the resident. I felt the current team are racist and showing discrimination on National origin.The Adara Communities management team should change the current team and appoint friendly staff and provide proper training. I will not recommend this apartment to anyone and you will get a better apartment for the money you pay.
This place is terrible. Do you honestly think that putting in new counter tops is going to make this place any better? What about the buildings that are falling apart? The cracks forming in the walls from what can only be described as the building sliding down hill? Then you are out here tearing and ripping up the parking lot, making more mess. Terrible place.
I have several close friends who live here. They have been having major issues with their apt foundation and management has yet to do anything about it. This has been going on for a quite some time. Something needs to be done about these people and the way they treat their tenants
IMO there is nowhere else I wish to live, and I’ve lived in Texas for more than 20 years. From the wonderful MacArthur Park office staff to the excellent maintenance staff, everyone is caring, kind, and thoughtful. Does that sound as though they are friends? Yes...that is what they’ve become.If your looking for a new community to call home, MacArthur Park is located in walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, banking, public transportation, Medical City Las Colinas, as well as many other amenities.

Worst staff, Rude people never listen to you ! This community was managed by a very supportive staff Cindy back until 2017 ... Now in a very bad shape . Very poor maintenance, We stopped raising maintenance concerns due to the rude response from the staffs at office .. Even they forge referral bonus, In my case I referred a person and later they denied saying they dont see the data on the document and rejected the bonus .Hope the owner of this community takes things seriously, and bring in some good staff members - instead of spending on marketing the community all over .

There is a whole new management team working there since we left the year before last Which creates a whole new set of problems! They have very young unprofessional ladies working there now...who do not pay attention to detail nor believe in responding to rental verification when another community is asking for one. I have been waiting for them to respond to an apartments request for 1 week and previous to this one I had to hound them down to get one. Once they did they wrote it wrong giving the community rent information from the current renters who ARE IN OUR OLD UNIT!!!! Then they corrected it with white out, scratched out they wrote and sent it back!!!! hahaha....shocking! If I would have known moving out of this place would have cause us such a big hassle we would have stayed and dealt with the deuterating wood and flooded living room due to old leaking pipes; which happened twice. I dont know if they put in new appliances and finally fixed all that construction work in the parking lot or not but this place wasnt bad to live in, the previous ladies were very helpful and understanding when my husband and I fell on bad times. BUT THE NEW STAFF has to do better on responding to rental verifications, this is peoples livelihood your talking about and they can careless.shame on you...
I have been living here for some time now. I like it very much here. Quick service. Good location. Very Friendly staff. Appliances and apartments are kind of old, and the only reason I did not give a 5 star review is the AC. It makes a lot of noise when it is on and gives me headache. I cant hear what the other person in room is saying or what is being said on TV. But I have purchased couple of fans to use in summer and I put on more layers of clothes in the winter to get around the problem. I requested them to fix it but they said it cant be fixed (because I think the apartments and equipment are too old). Other than that, all good.

I read in some reviews that managment pays new resident for 5 Star review.AVOID IT AT ANY COST EVEN IF THEY ARE GIVING YOUR TEMPTING OFFER LIKE 1 OR 2 MONTHS FREE OR EVEN THIS IS THE LAST PLACE YOU CAN FIND !!We had all kind of problems you can imagine.- Roaches problem with our 1 year Kid. We did treatment countless times but nothing improved.- Dish washer had problem from day 1 but management said they cant replace $250 machine even if it is faulty.- It is impossible to get Amazon item delivered because UPS guy didnt come inside community and Management made policy to not accept Amazon package.- Management is so rude and insensitive. The whole team was replaced 3 times in 10 months and each time new team would make you feel that previous was better.SAVE YOURSELF FROM TROUBLE AND STAY AWAY !!
Very bad experience. They told me it is an upgraded apartment but it is not. But the rent they applied as upgraded price. The appliances are not in same color. Dish washer is black and refrigerator is white, can you imagine.Service is very bad they are not responding well. And lot lot of coachroachs .Overall it is waste a waste apartment I live in.
MP is a joke! These are very old Apartments with unending issues and completely unfit for residence. To be honest they need to tear down these apartments before it causes any damage to life or personal property.

I have close friends who are like family to me that are having a bad time with this apartments management and staff? It would be good to hear positives from them for a change.
We have lived here for over a year now. Cindy Montgomery has been the go to person in this apartment complex. She always goes above and beyond to make the residents happy. She along with her maintenance staff maintain the property very well. She treats the residents as family members. All the maintenance and support staff are very good and very professional.They take care of the service requests well. The rents are reasonable too. We get a covered parking spot per apartment. Also, there are plenty of open spaces available. The leasing office is reasonably big which makes hosting birthday parties very easy.The property is located in a very prime location, literally walkable to Mac Arthur Park complex which houses Target, Kroger, TJ Maxx, Ross, Ulta and others. It is also less than 5 minutes away from the Mustang Park Recreation Center, Las Colinas Elementary school and lot of other eateries.Thank you to all the staff for making it a very positive experience living here.
Never heard anything good about this community from my friend who lived there. Been there twice and find it below average, old and untidy community.
I have been living here for a year and half now. Rather than writing a lengthy review, i will just break my review into pros and cons.Pros.1. rent for the area is reasonable. 1bed apt, around 750 sq costs about $900 a month.2. very convenient location, right next to i-635 and other toll ways, lots of restaurants and shops around the area.3. appliances are fairly new.4. friendly staff and repairs are done in a timely manner.Cons.1. Vandalism is kind of bad. I have a toyota rav4, the spare tire is on the back (like a jeep), and it got stolen recently. I understand this kind of thing can happen anywhere, but I kind of wished there were more security cameras around the apt complex. this is the main reason why i gave 4/5.Things to be aware.1. You do hear noise from your neighbor occasionally, but as long as you are living in an apt, where the walls are shared, you need to have some tolerance for noise.2. distance between each apt is really close.All in all, IMO, MP isnt a horrible place to live. If you are working in the valley ranch area, and looking for an apt, you should consider MP. Just be careful if you are driving a car like jeep or rav4, the spare tire might get stolen.
Macaurthur Park Apartments: Not a better place to live in.The only advantage living here is, it is close to many restaurants and shopping.Very old apartments and appliances like AC breakdowns quite often. My neighbors also had this problem.Laundry doesnt work half the time I want to wash clothes. And laundry machines in other buildings too breakdowns in tandem, So I had to go outside laundry few times.I had wtaer draining issues in bathroom couple of times. and I think they have to completely remove the draining system and install new pipes.You will not get your deposit back, as they will charge it for move-out check list charges, no matter how good you maintain and clean your apartment.Pool is closed entire summer and opened in mid July.No Security, as the entry gate is open 24/7.Parking is small, you have to be careful while your reverse your car from parking, as you may hit the rear vehicle. No parking space for visitors.There are very few trash bins, they are overfilled often and some trash is left beside the bins. I think the Trash is collected twice a week and it adds to this problem.Over all I think this apartments is not worth the cost.

So i have selected One..I am really surprise to see how come this apartment is still getting Positive Ratings, Based on the good ratings only I signed the lease in this community with out even seeing the apartment, But that was biggest Mistake I have made.. I am listing out the problems I have faced.1. Cockroaches.. ohh my god there were 100s of cockroaches.. I keep on complaining to management.. and it took 2 and half months to solve this issue.literally i lived in my friends apartment for one month by paying to my apartment... If any one dont believe me, just ask me i will mail you the pictures i have taken..2. Soon after that started with small bugs.. I am really not sure what kind of bugs are those.. I had to buy heat steam vacuum cleaner to kill the bugs.3. Carpet.. That was worst carpet i have ever seen, When i asked them to change the carpet, They said if they put a new carpet i had to pay 30$ extra for every month. this is how they respond, and i had to rent rug doctor from the Walmart to clean a newly occupied apartment, it was costed me around 70$. and when i leave the apartment i have given it in very clean way than they give me in the starting. for that they charged me 50$ to clean the carpet..-- If any one dont believe, i have the Walmart bills will share it with you...4. Washer and dryer places worst than dump yard... they rarely clean that. and they get repair very often.. i have lost almost 10$ with those machines5. And Finally important thing, may be most of the apartments do this.. but these people worst than any one.. they will never return your deposit. No matter how you clean the apartment.. they will find out very minute, small things and charge you 100s of dollars. Few things they can manage and they could manage but they charge you like anything. if you made one mistake they dont consider its one mistake.. they will take advantage of that mistake and charge you very high.. I made a mistake and that become advantage for them and they charged me like anything..Sara is the only one person who gives very good response to the people, others are like if the manager there in the office they speak with you very nice..If the manager is not there .... I cant explain...Please stay away from this apartment..@Reply to the below response..I mentioned 5 Points, but You were talking about only the Last point.. what an optimistic reply.. Charges are outlined in the document.. You mentioned that you will charge for the damages.. But you never mentioned the amount of charges for things (I know no one will mention that, but i am saying because you mentioned in the reply that charges are outlined in the document).. And you inspect the apartment when i was not there.. You should have set a schedule for apartment inspection .. that you wont do.. And when i asked you show me what you have replaced.. you will say its not your policy...Please write something about the worst carpet that you gave me and again charged 50$ for that carpet cleaning, though i give you very clean than you gave me..Please write something about cockroaches issue that i faced for 2 and half monthsPlease write something the neatness you maintain at washer and dryer Area
I fell in love with Cindy and her staff right away,i kept coming in to remind them i was coming,to be assured i could get an apartment.i found the perfect floor plan,with a little space to plant things,Cindy was so nice to me and she didn`t know me from Adam, but acted like she had known me for years,,,that was comforting to me....i have never ever seen that before in an apt.mgr. i have been renting for 30 years....i couldn`t wait for my lease to be up..now i have been here for 1 and a half years...and truly love coming home every day to my home,i thank Cindy every single day,for i fell in love with her first...she is such a sweet and good person,,,and just a real person,,,her staff love her and it shows,,,to live here i feel like a part of a family...i am so serious...she is just being Cindy.................whom ever owns this property ..please don`t move her......i think i would follow her..heh heh....
I have friends at this apartment that are very unsatisfied with the management and staff. Things take forever to get done and theres no communication on the progress.
Don’t believe on this paid review, the apartment staff are not good and stay away from this apartment.
Several friends living here have expressed horrible customer service and and management’s lack of following up on repairs.
I’m currently suing them if that gives you any idea what type of establishment this is.

I do not recommend this place to live the staff while they want to rent they say one thing and when they move you they increase the payment and they want to charge you for each report this place is a garbage dump they do not fix anything and apart they paint above the cockroaches then they say that one You have to pay pest control when they already deliver the destroyed and infected apartments with spoonfuls. Think about it if you want to move to this place they are responsible.
