As a truck driver its nice to deal with shippers/receivers that have good attitudes. This place rocks!

The older gentlemen thats the security guard that checks you in was nice and friendly. I guess thats where the good service stops at for this facility. Arrived at 10:29 for my 11am appointment. Walked in to check in and they have 3 ladies sitting behind the glass window. Only one was working and taking about 20 minutes a person to check someone in.By the time they checked me in it was 11:20, now they are claiming that Im a work-in because Im late. I have 4 pallets of return to deliver. It is 1:30pm and I still do not have paperwork in hand stating delivery was complete.Will definitely reconsider the next load offer i have for delivery to this place. My time is worth something too.

One of my worst stop! I thought last time I was here that maybe it was just an off day for the ladies at the receiving office! Welp that must be their character and personality! Extremely rude!!! They should not be working customer service! Maybe at a corrections facility! Getting loaded was efficient and everyone else was nice!

Not bad place to unload. Usually takes apox 2 hrs on dock. We come here often. No overnight parking

THERE IS NO OVERNIGHT PARKING. It was a drop and hook for us. Bathrooms are by shipping office. MAKE SURE REEFER FUEL IS FULL before dropping. You can park at shopping center down the road off of I465 if you are too early or if you get turned away until appointment time to get unloaded 🇭🇳👍🏽😎👍🏽🇭🇳

Been a while since Ive been here and as always a pleasure to drop and hook here. Fast in and out. No overnight parking allowed is the only draw back.

Finally the loaded trailer in 4 hours.. then I go to scale.. overweight.. go back .. and 4 hours more...office workers especially black big guy.. one of the nastiest person which I ever see..

I dont know who they finally decided to fire or if they changed management at this facility, but whatever they did, made a day-and-night difference. I stopped coming to this facility about a year and a 1/2 ago because the staff was so horrendous to deal with. Now, however, the entire staff from the guard shack to the ladies at the shipping and receiving desk to the gentleman who loaded my truck have made this place an extremely pleasant experience.Thank you, Americold, for fixing this!!!

Friendly staff get you in and out but hence dont be late $100 late fee I wasnt late just a friendly reminder to those who are always late.....

Checked in at 3:30p for a 5:30p appointment. Now 10:20p and still not loaded. By far this is the worst Americold Ive been too. The same way they like to charge you for being late, is the same way this company should pay drivers direct after the 2nd hour.

Get load from Jones Motor(Rod Alvarez) and Adrienne Rexroat, apt confirmation sent as 8:30 am, arrived by 8:00, checked in at guard, but when I went to office, said you late cause your apt 2:30 at night, after they moved to 16:00 pm, killed one day, guys do not work with this people, broker will not pay enough, if you got load from them, cancel it, or be ready spend 2 day

First time here. Got here 1:45a for 2a delivery. Only one in office. Took 15min to assign door. Told yard dog would come get me when paperwork ready. I also assumed they might call me since I had to put phone number down in multiple places. It is now 945a no phone call or yard dog. The one pallet I delivered here is off the truck... so assuming they are done and just forgot to get me... I am waiting in a line that is taking forever... to hopefully get my paperwork... but who knows if it is even ready???. I did try calling the number on google but there is no option to go right to shipping receiving. Also door 86 office is open during night (when I got here) but during day the other offices are open so I was told my paperwork would be in building one(closest to the dock I was in)... so here I am waiting.... this is not a good way to start s monday.

Sadly the black women in the office do nothing but chatting with each other and not enough checking drivers in. They take their sweet time, be professional! 45 minutes to check in because of that mess... what a joke.

Checked in, assigned door, opened my doors backed up to my door and was unloaded in 36 min.

A place to avoid. Get here at 215p for a 330 appt. 930p still here. No overnight parking but they will run your hours out and kick you out in Indianapolis. Here’s to finding parking at who knows when tonight

Upon arrival, checked in with guard at shack,parked and checked inside, dock door assigned and in no time was loaded and ready to go,plenty of room to maneuver and pleasant workers to deal with...

AmeriCold in general seems to have a lackluster work culture. Very often theyre multiple hours, and sometimes days behind. Expect to spend at least four hours any time you live load here

If u want to save ur time or a day don’t pickup from here 8pm pickup start loading 4 am lazy ppl

Both Taylor and Latoya in 2nd shift recieving office were very nice, patient, and quite professional. Other recievers could learn a thing or two from these awesome ladies.

40 min to check in 🤥

Very slow unloading appointment was at 4.30 pm and its now 9.20 pm still on dock seems all truckers got mad some waiting since 3.00 pm yet all were taking so long

Shipping and receiving ladies ardian and vicki are very nice and fast offloading

The warehouse is always slow about unloading you but the office staff, Taylor and Kat (I Hope I spelled those correctly) are very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Was 6 hours late ladies on 2 nd shift were awesome very nice and put me in door right away unloaded moderately quickly as well

My appointment time was at 2100. I got there around 2030 and I was given a door right away. It only took about an hour to get loaded. Brianna checked me in and out and she was very sweet, knowledgeable and quick! Wish every warehouse had a Brianna!

The younger yard man is very helpful and really appreciated his help. The guard up front is nice as well but the office where you check in is another story. One of the women in the office cussed an associate out several times as if that was ok. Its definitely unruly in there.

They have no regard for you. Appointment time 1 pm...delivery 7 PM. They load me at 8:20pm. Missed my delivery and now have to wait over the weekend for Monday. Run was 120 miles. As of now I am thinking to take this load back and dump it at their parking lot!

Terrible place to deliver. I got to the receiving dept. at 0930 for 1030 appt. I didnt get to an actual person until 1115. Every receptionists is busy doing other work except dealing with any inbound loads. Now if your a drop and hook then obviously your golden unless its in the door being loaded. Its now 1400 and I know their done but nobody has knocked on my door to let me know the paperwork is completed. Doesnt make any sense to be so inefficient at your jobs.

I would like to share my experience with the Americold at this location Its my 1st time at this location my appointment was at 5 I got out at 7:30 the 2 ladies in the shipping office were very very professional and very nice the security guard thank me for my hard work to keep America moving and fed and that meant a lot for me that somebody appreciate what i do unlike nestley guard was very rude to me at the same day and he kicked me out of the property for no apparent reason But God is always good I lost one load and I went to the 2nd load at the americold And I was appreciated by the people that work there keep up the good job guys

I was overweight 38720on driver and 27440 on tandems return to get load reworked was told will be a work in due till being late my appointment was 2230 arriving at 1830. Had wait when there was no other driver in the dock....will not return to this place again

I read all the reviews and see what everybody said and then I got here today my appointment is tomorrow and they got me a door right away and then unload me and I will be out of here shortly so my experience here was great everybody was friendly including the security guard

Been in line for 45 minutes....outside the building! 45 minutes just to get in the door. Guard shack and yard guys are cool. Everything else is terrible.

Very slow unloading 14 hours

Easy for trailer drop. 3/4 of fuel. If its a life load you need at least half of the tank. (You tell them how much you got)

Youd think someone would actually care enough to see the connection between the poor reviews at this company. Your check in staff are rude to people simply because they can be. They know they can be because this company allows it. This company obviously has no integrity.

We drop and hook at this facility so we didnt encounter a problem with load/unload times. We would like to take the time to compliment the staff in the shipping office! They were very friendly and helpful!! They were very busy but didnt hesitate to help with a minor issue with our paperwork. Couldnt hope for a better experience.

Be sure to take exit 49 to get here. If you come from the other direction the road is closed before you get here 1/2 mile. If you take exit 49 the roadblocked and closed 1/2 mile past the entrance

Very slow dont like going here

Had a trouble here once or twice while picking up a load. Otherwise they are very good shipper. Been there quite few times. Would appreciate if they keep up their good work.- Deep Trucking

If you are picking up a loaded trailer you are fine. If you need to pick up an empty the spotters drop them so low that your tires and sometimes your mud flaps will not fit under them. Have fun cranking landing gear. Sucks for locals that go there more than 2 times a day.

As a dedicated customer and have gotten to know the shipping/receiving girls on a first name basis Ill say its not bad. But expect to sit and wait a lot. Typical cold storage facility . And there is one who works 1st shift whos patience are gone 5 minutes into her shift . So be patient and dont forget the manners.

Did a drop and hook here. This is a very busy facility. Just to do a drop and hook took over an hour but its not there fault when 12 trucks all showed up within minutes of each other. Drivers just as an FYI they are repaving starting next week per the guard on duty

People in office ignore you until theyre ready to help you. If you drive for Marten make sure to come in on time for drop n hooks. May not be a droop n hook

Loaded in 2h, but Fing office women slow as they come. Jesus. Both for checking in and check out. Also attitude not great. Very short and rude.

This place is slow. However I read the reviews and came prepared. Sat in the shipping office for over an hour waiting to check in. The two ladys working the window on a Friday evening are polite and easy to deal with which makes my time spent here enjoyable.

I’m a trucker driver this is my second time coming to this facility and the crew here is very professional and always get me out on time the thanks to the people in the shipping department and front office specially to Latoya, Taylor, Riley

08-02-2019 WARNING: The people who work in the office here don’t seem to have any common sense. This is the third time I’ve delivered here. It takes around 6-8 hours to unload a trailer.The company who I haul for has at least 3-5 empty trailers there every time I’ve come. But they’ll make me wait to get unloaded since I have a live unload scheduled not a drop & hook.... RIDICULOUS 🤦🏽‍♂️

This place is trash. Avoid at all cost. Your day is shot if you have to come here. No sense of urgency. Terribly managed. No reason picking up 2 cases should take over two hours every time. Completely unacceptable. They should fire everyone and start over. What a joke of a business.

Horrible.... On time (30 minutes early actually).... they lollygag checking you in while smirking at and ignoring the ever growing line of drivers waiting to check in and have a dismissive attitude when you finally get to window and ask them how a company that will monetarily penalize tardiness and rescheduling be so nonchalant about excessive amount of drivers waiting. and as with most places that live load it took 4 1/2 to get loaded 😏

Its not a bad place to pick up or deliver. A few times they have taken entirely too long to unload my trailer. But luckily the company I work for has a drop and hook thing going on. So lately weve been taking full advantage of that. And its been great. When we have a drop and hook load going there its 24/ 7, and yes thats great...

Such a bad setup, they cannot find their appointmnt numbers or pos. Avoid coming here if you can else you ll be just waiting. Every driver i met was frustrated with them.

Wasnt bad but the people working behind the window are pretty slow. I did a live load and was told a spotter will tell me when I can get my paperwork. Oh if you are late it will cost your company 105.00 in a comchek in advance. Was there for 2.5 hours and yes I was late.
