It was a nice place to live as a college student. Affordable and manageable. Neighbors were fine as well. Place was small but that comes with the price.

My experience with Sexton Properties is that they care about their residents and their communities. Stanford Court is an excellent example! I like that it is a small community and in the Speedway School district -- great schools! It is an older community but I think that is what gives it such charm. The staff is always willing to help in any way they can. Prices are very reasonable as well. Just a great place to call home!

If you see an issue, make sure it is corrected before you move in. Do not accept any verbal assurances or promises. The apartment employees will lie to you to make sure you move in.When walking through the apartment, before signing, I pointed out that there were no knobs on any of the cabinets and that they were not designed to be opened without handles so these would need to be installed. I was promised explicitly by the staff that this would be taken care of. After four months of calling about this issue I was told that they would not be installing the cabinet handles as they originally promised even with this issue in writing that it was to be corrected.

They towed my car because their visitor parking was FULL, and the office was CLOSED so we couldnt get a temporary sticker. They do not provide residents with visitor parking passes when they move in. My car was parked for only 6 hours. So I have been getting a we are looking into it every few weeks from one person or another. It has been two months now. The apartment complex has YET to get back, YET to refund me the tow, and YET to do anything that they have said they would do. The resident that is living there should not have to keep chasing them down, email after email, phone call after phone call, just to get someone to respond, let alone take care of this.

I loved living here. The property is well maintained and beautiful. The location is convenient, yet still feels secluded. I had a maintenance issue once and it was handled quickly. The apartment is spacious with ample storage and a large balcony. Ive never had an issue with loud neighbors, rude office staff, or poor maintenance. If I still lived in the area, Id never have moved out. Great apartment for the price!

I love this place. Its quiet, shady in the summer and has friendly residents. Great place to call home! The staff is very friendly and always tries their hardest to take care of issues that occur. Definitely give this place a shot. You wont be dissapointed!

After a visit, I was very impressed with this place. The employees were very nice and professional. The apartments were modern and clean. Maintenance around the facility was kept up very well. I am definitely considering moving in there.

So, I do not write reviews nor do I ever hardly have extra time to do so.. but I HAD to take a few minutes to praise the maintanence staff, and the leasing office staff. I have lived here for a few months and have had no issues. Maintenance has showed up in less thn 24 hours, or the very next morning depending on how late you request service. I am in LOVE with my apartment. The neighbors are quiet, and everyone stays to their own business. There are NO kids because this complex does not have a bus stop.. so you hardly ever see children. And you 100% do not see them running around all over the place. I am a college student who appreciates the peace and quiet. I love having a washer and dryer in my unit, and the apartments are VERY clean.. I was very nervous with this being my first place but all of the hunting was WELL worth the wait!! I LOVE it here!! I can pay my rent online, and also in increments if I need to. (As long as its on time) You will not regret living here at ALL!! 😊

We have lived in Stanford Court Apartments for 8 months now. We have found it very easy to communicate with the management. They are polite and prompt with any of our concerns. The overall maintenance of the apartments are kept immaculate. The area of the complex that we are in is very quiet and neighbors are very considerate of each other. We are very happy with our choice to live here.

Have been here for a year and now renewing again. Service is good and maintenance keeps on top of things. Had a leak on my sink they could not find but it got worked out after while.

I have lived here at stanford court for a year now! I will say that I am more than happy with my experience. I have decided that I will be renewing my lease in November. The property is nice and quite, the office and maintenance staff have been very helpful and accommodating. I really feel like I’m at home here at Stanford court.

Beautiful landscaping and trees...I visited some friends that live here and totally fell in love watching the ducks swimming in the lake. There are lots of pretty flowers and a walking trail to. Cant wait for it to get warm to visit that pool!!

A nice and quiet place to live. The maintenance is super fast and the leasing office agents are very helpful and friendly!

Dont live year. Utilities dont work when you move in. Cable goes out all the time due to their wiring. Your rent will come up missing out of their locked drop box. Alarm system isnt hooked up to police. Its just a box that is supposed to scare them off. Patio views are surrounded by dead brush and tree limbs. Maintenance takes forever. Leasing staff will not work with you at all. Bugs everywhere inside your apartment. Update:did I mention your car will get broke into? Update 2: Car will get stolen.

5 reasons why you should not stay here and if you decide to, let this be your last final option:1.) maintenance is pretty terrible in the winter because they do a lazy job of clearing the neighborhood roads as well the sidewalks are just as bad.2.) dont be surprised if the utilities in the apartment arent functioning properly at first and /or are pretty old and outdated.-As well, this is minor but be aware if you get a house warming gift, when you first move in, make sure that it is from this year because me and my roommate received a gift from 10 years ago and the contents of the gift were expired and not edible anymore.3.) if maintenance ever comes in your apartment, expect a average job. For example, they checked the air filter of our air condition and when they finished, they left the screws and the grate extremely loose which allowed for bugs to get into our apartment because we rarely opened the patio doors or the windows.4.) we didnt notice at first but not only did our alarm system not work properly but the frame of the door was poorly done and painted but as well the insulation of the windows was bad which allowed heat to constantly escape my room during the winter which was a huge inconvenience.5.) last but not least, if you enjoy sitting on your back patio in peace with a beautiful view of a garden, yard, or a pond, dont expect this here. The backyard is not only barren but unappealing to the eyes and the pond is disgusting!!We honestly were so excited to move out and I regret living there when I could have lived right across the street at auburn hills apartment or on campus at IUPUI.

Really bad leasing staff, they dont care about anything. They are not friendly and the manager is arrogant. They gonna trick you and charge you for not existing things. Be aware!

My son and a roommate lived there for a year. No complaints, and paid their rent. When they moved I came up and cleaned the apartment and we went through it and made sure everything looked good. Not only did they not get their deposit back the manager told them they owed over 600 when I called to get a break down of what they owed was the manager could not tell me it is what it is. My son has tried several times to get a hold of someone and has had no success going on 2 weeks now. Been a very bad experience and has shown these kids that trying to do the right thing, gets you no where.

First year had no issues at all. Since I’ve renewed my lease all I have had is issues. Especially maintence, they don’t have any communication with the staff. If they figured out a better system with how they run things, this place wouldn’t be so bad. And actually fix it right the first time with qualified maintence techs.

Horrible Horrible place to live. They lied to us Day 1 regarding the size of the apartment we would be getting. By the time they showed us our actual apartment it was too late. On top of that nothing inside the apartments actually work. The appliances do not clean or function at all. They told me my rent was late after it was submitted ON TIME. Now they are charging me a late fee of $150 because they did not inform me about the rent until 3 days after it was too late. My rent bounced and now they want to charge me for something I had absolutely no knowledge about. I dont normally care about this sort of stuff and this is the first review of a business I have ever left. I have never been so blown away at the greediness of this complex. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.UPDATE: I sent my roommate in to try to reason with them and they felt the need to talk about me to my roommate about my review. Did not reach out to me directly to resolve the issue. They acted like children and talked badly about me to my roommate and then still are not fixing THEIR mistake. AGAIN DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

So a neighbor of mine was smoking weed, another neighbor called it out. So office just walked right in my apartment (no notice) while I was at work and searched my apartment.So rating these apartments without that little story of mine which I still have more, Ill give these apartments a 2 star.The apartment is so tiny and the rent is too high especially for the size of the apartment. You can find better apartments around speedway if you keep looking.Maintenance was average and Stanford doesnt have rat or bug problems. The pond is meh on your 2nd week there but neighborhood is quiet.I moved out after my lease was up didnt renew and would of had to pay more on the next lease.

Was considering moving in, put down a deposit and everything until I had enough with the Leasing management. Theyre rude and snobbish attitude lost them an interested renter. Blood sucking Leaches when it came to getting money out of you as well.

Horrible ive lived at stanford court for over 5 years. They switch management evedy 6 or so months so they dont know whats going on. They suck you for every dollar they can get out of you. They strong arm you if they are giving the chance i started off loving them but i feel so disrespected by them.

The only good thing about this place is that its surrounded by nature. Everything else is just terrible about living here. The management and maintence are awful. One of the maintence guys smelled of alcohol every time we called. Within the first 5 months of living here something broke literally every week or so. And even after they came and fixed it the problem still occurred. They dont keep up with maintaining things around here. We had an outside light blew for a good week before they had even noticed it. They charge absolutely way to much for this rundown place. And I would not recommend moving here if you have a pet. $500 just for the deposit and the dog waste clean up bags are so far away its a hassle to even clean it up. The management here is rude, they arent considerate whatsoever of the residents who live here. Worst place to possibly move in to. Cant wait until our lease is up!!!

They try to extort you when you move out. BEWARE! The entire situation was described to me by 2 different friends who dont even know each other so they didnt make this up or conspire. They also confirmed that the management changed on a regular basis. I was looking at moving but obviously not there after asking my friends about the place.
