This was the worst place I’ve ever lived, the place was infested with roaches and huge black spiders. Before I left I was talking to one of the ladies in the office and telling her I needed to leave cause I felt unsafe there and I was being harassed. She worked with me and my situation and I gave her the day/ notice I was leaving. fast forward the next year I find out I have an “outstanding balance of 1395 dollars and the lady no longer work there! They sent it to collections it was on my credit and they said I didn’t turn my keys in, they also added a bunch of chargers saying they had to fix things an I didn’t pay like 3 months of rent and it wasn’t the truth I got everything figured out they lowered my fees to like 750 I had to call collections for them to straighten stuff out come to find out I owed nothing PLACE IS A HUGE SCAM AND IS A NASTY PLACE TO LIVE !

This apartment complex really needs to be torn down and rebuilt it’s infested with so many roaches it makes no sense. I will be breaking my lease and filing bankruptcy on it. It’s not worth $770 and all your utilities. I have never seen anything like it in my life. The owner should be ashamed it really doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. The tenants are practically living on top of each other it’s just ridiculous. I’m actually terrified to sleep or put anything in this place. I really should have researched this place more I think the code enforcement should investigate this place it’s not sanitary or livable. I pray for the owners and tenants but this place should be shutdown.

Payed my rent on time for the entire year, put in my 30 day notice on time,moved out on time and still they lied and said I stayed 2months passed my date when I have all the paper work, and my new lease at my new place was signed 3 days before my move out date. I turned my keys in and everything. I actually moved out a day before I was suppose to. You’re telling me you didn’t check my apartment for 2months after I left?? They sent it to collections and they put it right on my credit. I owe them $1200 when really it’s $0. I never complained, never got a complaint. Even though my apartment was mice infested never seen anything like in my life and I still stay throughout my lease. I even cleaned the whole apartment before leaving from top to bottom, Put a new shower head on,new light bulbs. I’m just so angry because i did everything right and still got charged.

Now that I have left….. DO NOT EVER MOVE HERE. They are infested with roaches and mice. I was there for a long time and had to hire a company myself to take care of the issue because the so called “exterminator” they used NEVER solved the problem. The bugs and mice kept coming back, and if it wasn’t for us hiring someone else the problem would have definitely kept going. I HATED living here. It gave me anxiety just to stay there. Leaving Pangea was the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I don’t want my worst enemy to live here.

If I could give a half of a star I would. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever in my life lived in. They are very unprofessional and never answer the phone. They are unsanitary and they have roach problems and mice issues. I dont think maintenance can solve the problem I think the only problem this will solve is rebuilding the whole apartment complex from scratch.They do not take care of the landscape property and the hallways smell really bad due to neighbors and maintenance. I would highly recommend no one to move into this complex. If you like to live dirty then this might be the place for you. RESPECTFULLY!

I have called the leasing office several times requesting them to fix my hot water. I have also sent in several emails. My water does not get hot in my bathroom, and I have not been able to take a shower since I moved in back in October. I have been here for 2 months now. It is very cold outside and the last thing i want to do is continue to have cold water in my unit. I have called the corporate office in Illinois. They sent someone out 2 times and both times I had hot water for 1 day and then it stopped. This is the worst building I have ever lived in, even for low income housing. They do not care about their tenants. Not even enough to ensure we have hot water.

I been here since December and since December I have been complaining about the roaches/mice infestation my unit have.Yes you have send pest control out but no it isn’t working I have ask for trap which I was told I would receive nun of which I haven’t. I have to go to Walmart to get my own just to catch one/two mice a day now who wants to live like this I mean would you every time I call the office to discuss this the so call manager is in a meeting and nvr call bk . Maintenance is always on time.

My mother moved in a month ago. She has sent 17 endows requesting a maintenance request about her shower as it does not get hot. She is 64 years old and they have refused to rectify the issue. She calls me every morning crying because her shower is cold, and has to walk to work. Not to mention she has called the leasing office and they NEVER answer. My cousin is a news anchor for WISHTV 13... they’re featuring a segment on the apartments Friday! Disgusting how they treat people.

Once again my mother still has no hot water. I saw the comment made that there was no work order placed for her hot water however I have recordings of each attempt and screenshots of every time we reached out by email requesting help for the hot water. Would you like me to upload them?

Living in these apartments give me anxiety and I truly can’t wait to leave. Manager...pitiful excuse of a personality and customer service skills. I have no idea how she’s still the manager. Infested apartments from roaches, bed bugs, some type of other beetles and the so called “treatment” does little to nothing. They don’t really answer their phones and leave people standing outside the office ringing the door bell. The ONLY good thing about this place is the decent price and the maintenance crew. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

Ok so my last review was over exaggerating.... i lead with emotions ... about a month ago i was convinced that i had a mold problem and i was convinced that the apartments werent trying to solve the issue however that wasnt the case .....there is no mold in my apartment .... i truly do apologize for my behavior and my comments that ive made in previous reviews ....

This is very bad, the maintenance is very poor, it takes a long time for the waste water to go through the kitchen zinc and the worst of all is that there is roaches and bed bugs. But i hope the apartment will improve, other than that it is a good house to live in but it not that cute and you experience alot of bad smell due to people who live down the apartment and smoke.

I want to say thanks to Sandra, lease agent. My boyfriend just leased an apartment from here and I was by his side every step of the way. Work order placed still no hot water

My experience at Pangea parkwest has been really bad. The apartments have many problems from pest, poor water heater, regular power outage, poor/slow maintenance service, units are super old, etc.. I would not recommend this apartment at all.

Once rated at one star but since most of my issues have been resolved I now give the company 4 stars. management and maintence were friendly, helpful and understanding.

Its very good place to called it home, they trying to do the best for you, when you asked to fix something they care about that and do within short time, especially if you follow up your case.I heard something about how much its not safe here, I found very good safety too. Sometimes was keeping my money at the table at the living room, the workers came many times fixed something, no one time I lost any things

Whatever you do please do not live here... I am begging you. This place appears to be drugs infested.. I have found needles in front of the apartment. The manager for this apartment is inept and to make matters worse she is rude and has no idea how to speak to people. They have no idea what they are doing and common sense miss that office by a long shot. Its not as reasonable as you think and the headache you get from these people is not worth it... Please save yourself and live somewhere else. If you move here you will regret it... Unless you are a sucker for inept ghetto mangers

I have been a resident of Pangea Parkwest Apartments going on three glorious years now, and I must say I am more in love with this apartment than I have ever been with any other apartment I have ever rented!! The staff are amazing, the rent is very affordable, and its very peaceful in the building I live in. The thing I love the most are the ladies in the office! Every step of the way they have been amazing with assisting me. Best customer service provided thus far living in an apartment on the west side. I honestly dont think they get the credit they deserve. If I could give a rating better than 5 stars, Pangea Parkwest and its staff would be #1!! Keep up the good work ladies!

I am not hesitant yet for a townhome but will be for the summer. I came upon these apartments since it is close to the interstate. They didnt have any to show but I am so pleased for the great service I had. Lovely ladies in the office!!

Beautiful hardwood flooring the girls in the office have the best attitude in the world they are so kind to me and I just love them. property manager its so fun and funny Amarilis and Rosa always get what i need done, Quick.

I have been a resident here for almost a year. I moved in here in dire need of a place to stay ASAP due to going through a divorce! I filled out the application, got approved, looked at my apartment, signed the lease and moved in all in the same week. It has been just what I needed (which was a home) so no complaints on that end. No, its not the best neighborhood or most luxurious but everything is what you make of it. My building is peaceful, my neighbors are respectful, I feel safe; so what more can I ask for. My only complaint is the roach problem but hey it is what it is.

I lived in Pangea Parkwest for one year from 2014-2015. Never really had any problems except the complex could have been better cared for. I never had maintenance issues or any problems with the people ion the office. You cant help who your neighbors are so thats not really the fault of management. If a person passes the background check and income verifications then they cant really turn them away. It would have been nice to live around people who were cleaner. The only suggestion I have for the office is to do more pest maintenance.

Though new, but the reception by the staff is superb. And I can see it is a great and serene community. Keep the good works,winkss!

I love it here. Just dont like the kind of people that are here. Ive been here going on 3 years. But wish Pangea would fix or replace all of our patio fencing over here on the townhouses side, we pay way more then the regular apartment side, We dont get help from a Sec.8, nor any type of program that half these lazy people have here. We pay a lot more and with our hard earned money. I just think Pangea should replace the wood in our patios, they are looking realy TRASHY.

Everyone complains about the bad rep that these apartments have been from the moment that i walk into the office till the day i moved in my office staff was amazing and helpful every way maintenance and janitor are amazing. Leasing agent Amarilis went out of her way to make sure i was good in my apt.

I had to quickly edit my post regarding my heat and other concerns about my apartment. I personally went down to the front office in regards to my heat issue. Ms. DeLeana (apologize if misspelled) is the property manager, and let me start by saying that she is by far the best property manager Ive met! She genuinely cares about her residents and has been on top of my requests. Its nice to have someone care about you as well as the property. I was truly devastated when I was informed about the heating issues from other tenants that they have here. However, Ms. D made me feel comfortable with my decision to move here and assured me that the problem would be handled. It looks like my daughter and I are in good hands and Im so thankful. Ms. DeLeana you are awesome! Thanks for making me feel better about my decision as well as showing me the passion in what you do. I forever appreciate you!

Ive been a pangea resident for almost a year now, my apartment has a really old heat that doesnt even work all its been doing is leaking water on the living room floor. I went to the office 3 times already for the same problem the maintenance still cant do nothing about it and actually I give up. So, they have a lot to improve at pangea I cant wait to move out.

I know its New Years but I just moved in and my heat doesnt work. I can see my breath blowing in the cold air of my bedroom and I just tried to use my gas stove. It immediately started giving off a bad smell and my apartment started to smoke up and caused the fire alarm to go off. I had to open up some windows but nobody is answering the emergency maintenance line, I called 5 times and put in two online requests.

Just moved in to the apartment and everything is okay the apartment is clean👌👌

I have been a resident at Pangea Park west Apts going on 2 years, and the staff and the property manager, Susan Flinchem have been amazingly helpful! Any maintenance issues or noise violations Ive had have always been handled in a very professional manner. I love living here, the rent is affordable, its quiet for the most part, and I will recommend Pangea to anyone interested in living somewhere nice. I was happy to hear that Pangaea was going to meet my standards as far as getting approved for an apartment went to the office and the leasing agent somehow said she lost my paperwork so I had to turn it in again. My money order was also lost. i spoke with the manager and she was. Very kind and respectful to me at first but then said I had to find my receipt for money order or pay $25 dollars to reapply. called corporate and they said I didnt have to pay 25 just needed to bring new stubs I think Pangaea customer service line is very helpful very professional when it comes to having your paperwork and documents process in Timley manner.Hopefully Ill be moving into Parkwest soon. not dissatisfied just disappointed at the disorganization of pangea

I just had the absolute worst experience with the manager at this location I want everything that has happened today to not happen to no one else please contact my corporate upper management or someone I have lived in cedar and Pangea field and have never ever had any issue and for this women to act out of character is totally un called for please call me or reach out I want and need this issue to be address on the other hand go to Pangea fields or pangea cedars definitely recommend as a place to live.

I give this place one star because its just simply NOT WORTH ANYTHING HIGHER. I moved in last September, at that time I was needing a place & Pangea Park West seemed perfect due to the fact that have decent apartments & fast approval BUT I shouldve paid attention because they did NOT let me view my apartment but I should blame my self because I was eager to move in due to me being homeless, but anyway ROACHES main word ROACHES everywhere I mean it is horrendous. I advised them over & over that the pest situation was beyond fixable by just my apartment the whole building needs it but yet everyone has to complain or they wont fix. ALSO my apartment was broken into while me and my 2 year old son was there sleeping. They had absolutely NO concern for it either I asked about the cameras they told me they were broken, the door that is supposed to be locked is always broke!!! This is a very bad area of town but they dont tell you that either!! Another issue I had was that when my stove went out I had to wait 2 days for maintenance worker to come fix it which I had fixed it myself by the time they came!! Horrible place to live, horrible customer service, and a very horrible non-forgettable experience!! I do not recommend living here!!

I have been a resident at Pangea Parkwest for almost a year now. So my review is one that is based on both knowledge and experience. If you are looking to move in, please read this review.I like my stay here so far because for almost a year I have never had issues with heating, AC or kitchen appliances. Apartments are renewed and well taken care of. When I moved in, carpeting and paint were in a great condition. Maintenance requests are taken care of in a timely manner. Pest control is there periodically to spray. I Only had an issue once with leakage in the bathroom and it was fixed before I even returned from work. Unfortunately, I would not be able to review the swimming pool as I have never used it. I also like the convenience of a laundry facility on premises, and the ability of paying my rent and water bill online. That helps a LOT!Mirza, the property manager, and her team Amarilis and Rosa, are extremely nice and helpful. Mirza really made a difference since she took over. I have never left with an unanswered question, and if they were not able to help immediately for some reason (they dont have magical wands!), they always followed up with a call back; and if I called back, they were always aware of my case. In short, I am happy here because rent is a great value compared to what I get in services and the apartment itself.

This is the worst place I have ever in my entire life lived. Im from the hood but these apartments are hot garbage. A Mexican dude got shot right in front of my window, roaches really are what holds up the apartments. Its so many roaches in these apartments that they need to start paying rent. Every morning I wake up I kill about 4 maybe 5 roaches and not only that but they are becoming harder to keep out of the apartment. Never have I ever had a roach crawl in the oven and sit on my food that I had waiting until I moved into these nasty ass apartments. If your thinking about moving into these apartments, dont because when you move out your going to have to leave everything behind because the roaches own everything in there the moment you move in. The apartments are so bad I had to move out of my girlfriends apartment and back into estates of Crystal bay because the roaches kept asking me for rent money and would also get into my cloths. They NEVER answer the phone when somebody is calling and they always say that they will have someone come and spray the apartment down for bugs and they show up 4 days later. These apartments should be reported to the department of health and should be torn down and rebuilt.

RENTERS BEWARE!! pangea parkwest owners are slumlords, hiring incompetent managers and staff who dont care about the tenants. My sister and her kids have been without heat for 6 days now because the apartment refuses to replace a dangerous faulty heat furnace that breaks down all the time. same thing happened last winter, a week with no heat. They know its old and no good but keep fixing it for the moment at the expense of her and the kids health. They ignored her calls until the health dept came out to investigate. Maintenance sup Jeff finally came out and rudely said theres nothing he can do and she will have to go more days in freezing temps without heat until parts come in. RENTERS BEWARE!! Pangea wants to collect your rent money but will not spend any money to replace their own faulty property. Having heat is a basic human right every paying tenant should be afforded, if you have any advice please comment below.

Horrible they could never fix anything, infected with roaches!!! Someone dropped a cookie in the hallway and all you see if roaches once I cleaned the cookies up they all started coming in my apartment disgusting! Never seen so many roaches walking around like is there apartment . In winter time had a whole week without heat cause they couldnt fix it and I have 3 kids plus one was a new born . Only way they fixed it was because I threaten with a lawsuit . F***ing insane worst apartments ever ... Plus these are just best for trap house cause thats what most of them are ...

I am a current resident at pangea parkwest and it a great place to live great access to 465. The office staff is great always helpfull and maintenance/janitorial is always on point. I love it and enjoy it here!

I would actually give 0 stars if that was an option. Im not actually the one that signed a lease but my husband did. Its a very unkept community. I would never have moved into this slum apartment. Kids smoking Marijuana in the hallways. They hang out and dont even live in the buildings where they hang out at. Toilet doesnt half work and to top all of that off they dont do repairs in an efficient way or time. My husband and I went to the management on 2 occasions and no help from management about either situation. Concerning the repairs we made a report around October 16th, 2018. Today is November 1, 2018 and repairs are not complete. When speaking to someone in the office we were told that it was our responsibility to contact the office and follow up on the repairs because management and maintenance were separate from one another REALLY ?? I have pictures and videos. Ive contacted the Marion County Health Department as well as 6 for help. I pray that something is done. Its not a good place to live at all. I wont even talk about the bug problems in that place.

The maintenance man was very helpful. he took care of the problem and it didnt take long at all. I like my new apartment and the people that run it.

I recently moved to pangea west apartments, and i must really say the new propery manager Ms. Rosa is really nice and understanding, i needed to make a payment arrangements and she was very nice and understanding she did everything she could do so i would Not lose my apartment.....All i had to do was honor the arrangements. Plus I love my 2 bedroom apartment it is very clean and maintenance comes when you call. I just want to say thank u pangea west. Building 5909 Rocks........

Im editing my review because my situation at Parkwest has become dire and I dont know what else to do. My kids and I have been without heat since Thursday and the temp is continuing to drop, its December, its cold. Ive had problems with my gas heat since the fall, maintenance came out to check the furnace 4 times, providing temporary rigged up fixes each time, no replacement parts, not even using tools I called in an emergency on Thurs 12/1, no one showed. We slept thru the night cold without heat.Called again Fri 12/2 in the morning. When I got home from work that evening the furnace was off and still not working, they left 1 electric oil heater instead to heat the entire apartment. I received no communicationbat all, no notes, No phone call nothing, idk whats going on but I dont feel safe with this electric heater. The fear of it causing a fire or injury to my kids is overwhelming and causing severe anxiety. Am I expected to go the weekend without heat that I pay for? When will the heat be fixed? Ive called and called! I really dont know what to do now😟. I moved into these apartments a few months ago and have been collectively disappointed ever since. The staff is extremely rude and act as if your expectation to live comfortably while paying rent is an annoyance. They act like theyre doing you a favor by renting to you. On two separate occasions I went without hot water for several days and was still expected to pay a water bill which is tied into the rent and paid directly to the apartments. This amount is not based on usage but an average of all the similar model units in the complex. They consider your rent late and asses fees if the water bill is not paid in full by the 5th, something I was completely unaware of when signing the lease. The swimming pool is often filled with bugs and flies, I offered to help clean it once so my kid could swim and was given attitude by the rude manager who insisted it had already been cleaned and that the net was locked up. It was disgusting. Also there was a fire in my building and they replaced my front door with a big raw chunk of tan colored wood that gives us splinters and doesnt have a peep hole which is concerning considering the type of people who live here. It needs to be sanded, primed, and painted. I complained twice after my nephew got a splinter and was told both times they will get to it when they can, that was 2 months ago.

Its about to be a year now since i been living here, and i havent had any problems far as bed bugs or anythings other type of bugs. My build is very clean and i never have a problem with fixing anything.
