While the car itself was comfortable and affordable, the return was disgustingly awful.Driving into the return area of Alamo at Louisville, KY airport, no one appeared to be working. I pulled in to a vacant spot and waited a few minutes.A very old grey haired woman came up and barked at me that the car was not parked in correct spot but to just leave it! Another poor sap pulled up and he too was chewed out for where he parked.She checked me in asking nothing. I ignored her and went looking for the terminal only to have her make some accusation about the gas in the car. I pointed out to her that was not the car I turned in.Then I made a huge mistake, I asked her where an elevator was to the terminal (construction blocked the most direct one) and she said something like you too good to use stairs? I had a huge suitcase and am handicapped.I had a reply which I will not share

My reservation said that I was the driver and only the drive had to be there for them to release the van. But after my long flight I came with my family and they would not release the van. They said the only person they would release it to was named Traveler Daisy. I even showed them the reservation confirmation and had everyone involved in the reservation process call them they would not budge. We ended up having to switch to a different car rental.

The location, within the airport was the most convenient factor. The staffs were professionally motivated and suggestive too at the beginning. But, one thing they really disappointed me was they were not caring when I had problem with the car after renting. I have to call my own insurance agent for road side assistance. I am not sure if they do not provide road side assistance, but at least they should be considerate to the call from the renters.

I reserved a mid sized cart to travel to my moms funeral but ended up with a Nissan Sentra, which with other car rental companies is a compact car. They didn’t have anything larger except for a Tacoma pickup. The car was nice and ran good but was quite tight for 3 larger adults.

My mom paid extra to rent a certain type of car. She chose it because it’s the same type of car I dropped her off in, so we knew everything she was transporting would fit. When she went to pick the car up, they gave her a cheaper, smaller car than she rented—without even reimbursing her for the price difference. They told her this car is the exact same size, but it isn’t. I don’t like leaving one star reviews, but you should get what you pay for. She’s traveling to a different state and will have to somehow plan a second trip to be able to transport everything she was supposed to this trip. I really don’t recommend this rental place.

They dont care about your safety at all. No option for winter tires. Charged an extra $50 for picking up the car 3 hours early. The guy working tonight 12/30/19 offered piss-poor customer service. Never again.

Very pleasant experience. Brad Was super helpful… Even after arriving two hours early they had my car. Recommend this rental when heading to West Yellowstone.

Stupid people that work at the counter in the airport. I rented a car for 4 days and had to return it in 3 due to a flight change. I asked them why would I be penalized for an early return? Their contractual agreement stated they would refund taxes and rates if we were to return it early. It was like talking to a wall. Luckily I called their customer service at their headquarters and their representative was amazing. She stated everything that was wrong without me pointing it out and she did an amazing job to help!! I wish these guys would learn their job duties better and provide better customer service and actually use their ******* heads.

SUV was neat and clean, customer service rep was very helpful and informative, easy reservation process and pick up - I would highly recommend Alamo to anyone!

Andrea at the front desk was about as useful as water in your lungs. She was snarky, condescending and did not even offer to problem solve any solutions. I will definitely never recommend Alamo and also recommend noone who works for the fortune 100 company I do, use them either. Very disappointed.

Showed up early instead of asking if I wanted to change my pickup and dropoff times automactically added a day at 75 dollars ehen my current rate was 59.5 and then pretended the total was my reservation amount. Had to check my reservation and only then did they acknowledge they added a day because I was two hours early. Looks like the other reviewers were correct...better check your paperwork.

Bill went from $58.18 to $105.15!!!!!!Worst experience. I tried to call the Idaho Falls office to talk to a manager. All I got was resistance and opposition. Employee wouldt even put manager on phone.I drove from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake but got charged 2 days on a car seat (that was included in my reservation), got a mysterious $17.00, $1.90, $7.72. What in the heck is a License Recovery fee or Concession Recoup Fee? How does a 3 hour trip get charged 2 days!!!!Car seat was FILTHY!!! I looked to be 10 years old and of course they didnt even know if it was Federally Compliant (BECAUSE WHY WOULD THEY CARE ABOUT SOMEBODY ELSES CHILD).If you expect your reservation to mean anything....think again.Get ready for surprise charges!!!!I only give them a 1 because 0 is not an option.Perhaps the online community could provide a better explanation than the unwilling staff.UPDATE: After posting my complaint on Facebook, Google, and Twitter, the Twitter team reached out to me. I sent them copies of my reservation and payment receipt. Within 15 minutes of the Twitter team reaching out to me the Idaho Falls manager called me to refund me. Therefore Im changing my rating from 1 star to 2 stars.

Horrible customer service orb sets of keys were hooked together and you could not take them apart so that two people could have keys. No one is ever at the desk. I had to come back to get something left in the car and no one was around to help. They are open from 8am-10pm and I came at 7:00pm
