I can’t say enough great things about this company or more specifically the crew that was called into remediate and repair my grandmother’s basement. I called Paul Davis and six other companies in Idaho Falls (I’m in Boise) when my grandmother called me in a panic to tell me of the mess of black mold in her basement due to a leak. When I called, Marilynn answered an listened while I explained the situation: my grandmother is elderly and not comfortable with people in her house, that I wasn’t in town, she needed people to be on time and explain, explain, explain and explain some more what was going to happen. Marilynn assured me that she would convey the situation and “the boys” would be totally respectful of the situation. They were at my grandmother’s that afternoon and everything went smoothly from there. My 90 year old grandma’s exact words were, “for a terrible situation, they made this mess a less terrible experience. Nate and Trevor were on time and explained everything, he even came by and explained each and every charge! Which was less than I expected!” I was fretting that I couldn’t be there to monitor the situation and keep things on track…turns out that Marilynn and crew had it handled. Thank you so much for treating my grandmother with respect and getting the job done how and when you said it would be.

Eric quickly responded to my needs & in fact, came over that evening to give me the peace of mind that I needed. He was quite knowledgeable when it came to this sort of thing. Id highly recommend him as I also felt comfortable allowing him into my home & using him as a resource for my networking group!

After calling and waiting for answers and for someone to show up for over 3 years we had no work and no proper estimates. We asked for our house to be fixed and every contractor they brought out or tried either ghosted us or told us they would do the job but not actually fix what we wanted fixed. Just stop it from getting worse. We finally took matter in our own hands and within days had estimates and a month later not only was the job completed but the house was restored like we had been asking for for several years. I don’t know why we where treated this way but was really sad. We tried to stay local and use them but with no luck. Would it recommend them for anyone who wants things to actually get done.

The employees at Paul Davis were friendly and very knowledgeable. They worked long hours drying my home and removing all the damaged drywall, carpet and pad. I would definitely recommend this company.

Mitigation process was quick and the gentleman that came by at 9:30pm on a Sunday, was very professional. We chose to go with PDR for the repair work as well and this process has taken sone time only because of Covid and waiting for our flooring to be in stock. Tammy has done a great job keeping me up to date on the progress.

Paul Davis helped me out of a terrible mess. I had a strange water problem in my basement. Turns out to be a hole in the water line. They were here quickly to assess and mitigate the faulty plumbing. They removed all the necessary drywall, pinpointed the problem and began mitigating the water damage. The Paul Davis project manager came with the crew and helped to further define the problem. He really added value to the work being done. Based on this one experience I highly recommend them. They do not provide plumbing services but do have access to drywall workmen.

After our flood, Paul Davis Restoration came in to dry floors. They set fans and a dehumidifier and said they would be back next day, two days later they came took there equipment and said we were dry and ready for our contractor. The next day when our contractor was pulling out subfloor, it was still soaked. I called Paul Davis back and asked to have a return call from a manager. They had someone come set another fan that day and again said theyd be back the next day. After an entire week of the fan running and no word from Paul Davis our contractor came back to finish work. Paul Davis left there fan and other equipment at my house for more than two weeks without calling or returning to check their work. I finally called them to come get their stuff. They came picked up the fans and equipment and left. We never got a return call from any managers or an appology for the unfulfilled job they charged us full price for! Im very unimpressed by lack of communication and professionalism. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I have not had a problem with my cabin but I have seen homes that have been restored. Beautiful work when work was done met some workers that were very well mannered

My roof leak was small but I was sure it lasted for weeks till I figured it out. Concerned about mold, I called Paul Davis. They tested for mold, there was none. The insulation was replaced and the blistered ceiling was repaired. It looks excellent. The repairs were timely and appointments were kept. We called Paul Davis to do a clean up. They were very helpful in the clean up and getting our power back on. This is a good company to call if you ever need anything. I was very satisfied with their quick response time and how efficiently they took care of our flooded basement. Their fast work kept the flooding limited to just three rooms instead of the whole basement. The furniture was moved to a dry area and the soggy padding was completely removed. When the carpet and cement were completely dry, their carpet layer came over and relaid the carpet.We were out of town when all this happened, so felt very lucky they were so responsive after receiving a call from our daughter to help with the damage. Well done!

This company did wonderful work for me--I would give them 20 stars for all the help they gave me--this is the second time I used them, and both times they quickly responded when I called them, even on a weekend. They found the problem and got it corrected very quickly. I could not even tell there had been a problem. A Wall and ceiling had to be replaced and repainted. I could not even tell there had been a serious flood problem when they had completed their work. Everything matched, the paint job was perfect. They were also very neat in the cleaning up after the repairs had been finished.

They dried out the water damage in the bathroom floor and walls than left us with no toilet and empty promises for 2 weeks. They wanted 50% up front before starting the work. We fired them and went with All American Cleaning and Restoration and within 20 minutes of arriving they had our toilet temporarily set up.

I recently had Jared Hess from Paul Davis come out to check out a problem which could have been a very large and expensive job. Jared carefully checked out the situation with his equipment and knowledge. It turns out the problem was very small and not what we worried it would be. Jared was very honest in his assessment. He took a lot of time to explain and re-explain that everything was OK. He did not leave until we understood and felt good that the origional problem did not exist and did not require a large expense to fix. Jared was so kind and helpful. Its been 2 years and the job has not been completed. What was done is peeling and falling apart but somehow P.D. made this all my fault. No accountability was taken. I regret ever giving them a good review in the beginning which I did as a favor to a friend who works there. I did not ask him for any favors though. Funny how it worked out. And yes, I have filed a complaint with the BBB.

A great company to work with! We manage rental properties in Idaho Falls and a tenant had a fire the week before christmas and they were out there right away! I called Paul Davis Restoration because of a recommendation I received and after looking at the Google reviews. They are opened 24 hours, and I was able to talk to Jerad. Jerad was willing to have someone come by that same evening, but I had them wait until the next day since the damage was done. Jerad came the next day and determined the problem. We had a leak in the basement from over saturation of our lawn from the sprinkler system. Jerad sat down with me and took his time to explain what had occurred and what could be done. We talked price and he was very forth right giving me options. We had excellent service and they were very prompt in taking care of our situation. They even put a lock box on the door for us because my husband and I are both site workers. This made the repairs less costly because we did not have to take off work to let them in to resolve our problem.

We just had Paul Davis come out and help us with a bathroom repair. They had to tear out all of our bathroom tile, our toilet and vanity due to a leak underneath the shower tile. I was surprised that they had all of this done by the time we came home from work and everything was so clean. They had the area blocked off with plastic so the mess would be contained and they also covered all the floors to the area they were working on. I am very happy with their work and both Shantell and Troy have been wonderful to work with and I am very excited to see the finished results. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone.

These guys were terrible. At first, they seemed to be very helpful. They sent in a guy with great customer service and cleaned up the initial flood damage. After that, they made appointments to finish up (as expected). However, they NEVER showed up on time, and sometimes they wouldnt show up at all! I took days off of work to be home for them, and they wouldnt show up. I stopped taking days off of work, and they began to complain that I was never available. I am paying THEM! THEY need to be available at times that are good for me! NOT the other way around. It went back and forth for 4 months before they finally finished their work (after missing several appointments and me losing money by taking unnecessary days off of work).I would never recommend these guys.

For the most part They were great! the job got started quickly and the water damage was dried right away. They put our furniture in storage for us while working in the bedroom. There was a few items of clothing we never saw again. Not the companys fault just one bad apple. then the final clean up could have been better.

Due to a string of bad luck Paul Davis has now handled three floods in 18 months. Each time they have gone above and beyond to put life back together for us. They show up on time, the subs that work for them are the best at the business, they keep tabs on what is going on and get the job done. I hope to not need them again...but life being what it is...when I do, I will not hesitate to call them. They are the best in the business hands down.

They also handled all of the restoration to install carpet and drywall back as well as repainting and did a great job.
