If youre like me, then your biggest fear is straying from your go-to barber when traveling. Fear not with this wonderful lady! She was meticulous, and gave one of the best skin fades Ive ever had. She went over the bottom of the fade three times with the foil razor, making sure all stubble was gone. She was equally meticulous with the rest of the fade, ensuring there were no lines visible while using many different types of clippers and edgers. Seriously, go see her. 5 stars!

This barber shop is absolutely awesome and very efficient with customers time. She’s my go to for a professional haircut. She also takes walk-ins.

They are cash only but it is definitely worth it. $15 for a cut but I give her the whole $20. She spends a dedicated amount of time on each haircut and makes sure it is done right. I have had a few cuts in the area and no one compares to the quality I received here. This is a quality service and a must for military haircuts.

Ive regularly been going to Yis Barber Shop for the past few months and have consistently had a great experience here. I always get the same thing because I have no sense of style, but my barber is always quick and efficient and definitely knows what theyre doing.The only downside is that you need to pay cash, which makes sense considering card companies charge a transaction fee - something a small business cant afford. First time I came here I had no clue and the barber was nice and trusting enough to let me get the money at a nearby ATM. That experience alone makes this my only choice for a barber in Huntsville.

Great little barber shop in Huntsville! I was in town for business and took a shot getting my hair cut here. I am really glad I did - the owner is very friendly, the shop is squeaky clean and organized, and they are very military friendly (Im a Marine veteran). I struggle to find someone who does a good job with my hair but she knocked it out of the park. I especially liked that she uses a vacuum system on her clippers and carefully cleans off all the hair at the end. I look and feel great - thank you! I will definitely be back every time I am in town. TIP: This business is cash only, so go to the ATM beforehand.

Ms. Yi delivers great haircuts with meticulous attention to detail in a short amount of time. There isnt typically a wait because she is very speedy but even if there is, it is worth the wait for what you pay for here. She is the only person Ill go to for a haircut in the Huntsville area.

New to area - 2nd time to Yis. Not picky, just want a good haircut (mens) that lasts, and isnt a USMC high-and-tight. Yung (sp) is pretty meticulous - several times checking symmetry, uses scissors a lot, and asks before doing eyebrows. Very generous with use of vacuum - leave the shop with no itch. Price is on par with shops where I moved from - reasonable. Military discount - she asks if you are. Figure another visit or two and I can just sit in the chair and say, the usual. Can throw a rock, and hit University Dr., but shop not easy to see from street - just listen to the Google Babe, shell get you there.

Very fast and friendly. The shop is so clean, it sparkles. Geared towards a mens cut, get it high and tight!

Ms. Yi is an excellent barber, however, she has moved to Korea. The shop is now open and has an excellent barber Ms Yong. The shop continues to be spotless and provides excellent service.
