So far I absolutely love living here. The staff in the front office is super friendly and they always greet me by name when I walk in… Not to mention they always have fruit snacks. The shuttle driver is also a very kind man. The housing itself is much nicer than I expected and I’ve had no problems with anything so far.

I’ve had a wonderful experience at encore so far! The employees at the front desk are very polite and eager to help with anything they can. The shuttle driver goes above and beyond for the residents here, and the rent is very affordable for a college student like myself.

I enjoy the basic thing they offer for a low price. The difference with this Encore and other competitors is that they are great with upkeep on their maintenance request. Ive submitted a few of the maintenance and had it fixed in under hours and at most the next morning before I get back from work. Definitely a big thing to look at with this apartment. Recommend it for anyone. Thanks to the great service, Ashley, Helen, and others more that I wished I knew their names!

At first, this place was completely glamorized online and I was stoked to move in. Unfortunately, on move in day was the first of my problems. My unit space was not clean, although you are charged a cleaning fee. I was compensated by having free covered parking. To add on, the maintenance issues you will have at this complex is outrageous. Although the maintenance team is awesome, it’s annoying having a different problem every month. Additionally, not a fan of the management. The students who work the front desk are okay, but management is unprofessional. Also, the amenities are not clean when I use them. You can see literal dust on the treadmills in the gym, and I have yet to be to the pool without it being dirty. Although for how cheap it is, I wouldn’t recommend living here.

Encore completely glamorizes their community to something that it’s not. The ONLY positive thing about this place is how quickly they deal with maintenance requests. I wish I could give 5 stars to the maintenance workers and 0 stars to everything else encore. Move in day, the unit was not clean, there was dog hair, car hair, and droppings of God knows what lining the baseboards and closets of each room. Along with this I lived the entire time there on a broken bed frame. the metal poles become easily un-welded from the frame and the bed becomes extremely un stable. Not to mention the general roach infestation of each building and ‘weekly’ pest control guys that I never once saw in my 11 months there. That’s a whole other thing. I signed for 12 months, move in day September 1st 2020, and they made us move out July 31st 2021. Which was only 11 full months. To top this all off, the front office and mail system that they have is EXTREMELY inefficient. Over the course of the eleven months that I lived there, encore ‘misplaced’ 6 of my packages (including debit/credit cards) without any explanation. When I told the office the only thing that was, passive aggressively, said to me was “ I never received a police report across my desk regarding stolen packages”. They are run by extremely unprofessional people who know how to “Smile and Wave”. Not a place you should sign with unless you want to get continuously screwed over.

Super great place to live at! Any problems I’ve had were solved quickly and I cannot complain. Shuttle staff and office staff are super nice and helpful. Parking is plentiful. Never had any serious issues and have been there multiple years. Would for sure recommend to others.

Helpful Staff!!!I am giving the property a 5 because the staff on the property are nice and helpful. Maintenance was quick and took less than a day to come fix any problems I had such as the dryer not working. The property is well kept and the utility bill is not high at all! The rooms are spacious and are great apartments for college students plus the deals are great.

Friendly staff. They’re always nice at the front office and they have good snacks. The complex is small and quiet, spacious rooms with cool sliding-door closets. Maintenance requests are answered promptly. Great prices!

Honestly speaking, yes, it is a bit pricey, but its absolutely worth the cost. The staff is all friendly, the amenities are all nice, not to mention fully furnished rooms? Especially being a college student, that takes away the hassle of having buy hundreds of dollars of furniture. Overall a great place to live!

Encore Sam Houston has been my apartment for the last few years. I love every aspect of the community, from the resort style pool to the workout center. The apartment itself is excellent and the living room is the biggest ive seen here in huntsville. All my friends would come over to my place because of how spacious it is. I would live here for a few more years if I wasnt graduating!

Encore is one of if not the best place to live in Huntsvile! Helen and Bryan are amazing managers and the rest of the crew is just as awesome! Clubhouse amenities are great and the shuttle to campus is very convenient saving your cars gas!

Thus far I have had no issues with the management. Maintenance comes and fixes issues within 24 hours of work order. The shuttle driver’s are probably the nicest and best people ever.

Lived here about a year now ive had very few problems, my problems consisted of a bedroom door that wouldnt close all the way and a wifi cable coming from the wall being a little janky. However as soon as my issues were brought to the staff there were several same day fixes left in conditions better than new. Not everything started perfect but with ease it ended perfect!

Fantastic customer service and maintenance requests are fulfilled quite efficiently. The pool is also a fun hangout spot, a huge personal favorite compared to other apartments. Rent is very affordable! Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a new place to call home!

I have lived at Encore for about 5 months now and I would not want to live anywhere else. Its close enough to campus and even provides a shuttle bus that takes you. There are so many great amenities and the management is always so helpful!

I can state sincerely that I had an excellent experience at Encore Sam Houston and I never ONCE faced a major issue. The staff and shuttle drivers were always personable, the maintenance requests were consistently filled in a timely manner, and even the management was always honest with me no matter the circumstance. I’ve had my share of lousy student-apartments in Huntsville but this one definitely does NOT fit that description whatsoever. I’m not necessarily a fan of living in a 4-bedroom apartment complex but it’s still very affordable and I believe it’s fair. If they offered 1-2 bedroom plans I would’ve stayed, but I prefer living by myself.

I’ve lived at Encore for two years now and it’s been great! All the staff and maintenance workers are kind and very personable! The living rooms are spacious and there’s plenty of room for everyone to have their own space in the kitchen as well.

Great attention to detail and make the rooms as well as possible when move in comes in. Although I did not have a great experience my first move in day, I was transferred to a new unit and with the same, clean roomates. I happened to have a great experience after the move in day. Which was a great attention from them.

This complex is very nice. Has a very spacious living room, already furnished. They have affordable prices compared to the other properties in town. Has easy access to 45 and close to campus. The amenities are nice, good size workout room, breakfast station, resort style pool. Very accessible and convenient to live at.

The office staff is super helpful and friendly. They are quick to resolve any issues that I have.

This is my second year staying at the apartment complex. Besides the noisy neighbors my experience so far is good. Cant complain one bit. Can not be to picky.

My sister was a resident here for this past year and experienced SO MANY ISSUES. Besides how dirty the unit was when she moved into it and a few other concerns, she recently had to move out of her unit early due to a flea infestation (she had no pets, so it wasnt because of her). She began having extreme allergic reactions and notified management in regards to the problem immediately. They took almost no action and she had to leave her apartment at the beginning of June. She hasnt lived in her apartment for the past two months because management and maintenance refused to fix the problem in her apartment. She has contacted them multiple times, and tried to reach out to corporate, with no response. She had to pay for two months of rent when she wasnt living there and the apartment will not return any messages about compensation. She even tried to terminate her lease (within her legal rights due to management not getting rid of the fleas which made her unit uninhabitable) and they would not let her.DO NOT LIVE HERE.

I’ve been loving my experience so far. Mercedes toured me in Feb and she is what convinced me to lease. Staff is very professional. Mr. Rogers, the shuttle driver, is amazing. Closets and rooms are a tad small, but for price and all amenities included it’s totally worth it.

Encore at Sam Houston is a great place! I enjoy the amenities they offer. My friends and I are always grilling and playing beach volleyball in the Summer. During the Winter we really love using the fire pit! We gather around and roast s’mores. The staff is super friendly and helpful too!

My experience with Encore has been fantastic. Despite being swamped with work, Encore apartments (specifically Jerry, one of the staff members) has made it their priority to get me in the door as soon as possible. Since moving in, any request or concern Ive had has been answered promptly and considerately. The room I moved into was clean and the roommates I’ve been placed with are really cool guys. It’s only been a week, but I’m really looking forward to living here this year.

I went in the other day to ask information about the apartments and i was happily greeted by Manuel. I remember his name because he was so helpful and respectful. The apartments are nice. Great experience!

It’s a pretty nice place honestly and pretty decently priced.

Most of the time maintenance is fixed right away and we are always greeted with friendly faces in the front office and especially in the shuttle buses. The amenities are great but since there always people in the pool, most of the time it is not clean.

I used to live here last year. It is an amazing place to live it was my first apartment ever. The shuttle was reliable although it does not run for night classes which is why I switched to Encore at Campus Edge this year because I have a night class and its closer to campus but it didnt hurt because it was run by the same management!

I renewed at a price that I was informed would be the lowest price it would ever be. A few weeks later they ran a special for a considerable amount lower than I re-signed for, with a bonus for new leases. On top of that they didnt give priority to renewals for covered parking spots. The apartments themselves are nice but theres some things that can be worked out.
