I usually go to this place to just get a pedicure done by Kim (she is fantastic and the only person I would trust), but I don’t think she was in the day I went to get my dip nails taken off (08/31/21) The ladies in the salon couldn’t decide whose turn it was to do a take off/manicure and made me keep switching chairs until they finally decided who was going to do it. I absolutely hate salons that decide they want to take a clients nails off by using another artificial nail. If anything that’s even more damaging to the nail. At this point I just wanted to leave because the lady was hurting me trying to get the nails off. She took my real nail off trying to take my dip off and I was bleeding. I even told her that was hurting me and I knew I was bleeding underneath the nail, but she still continued. In the end she charged me $25.00 for a 15 min job that I could’ve done at home myself if I just wanted to rip all my nails off. (Picture below, my fingernail on my ring finger is half missing and you can see the skin)Thanks Nail Spa One for training your employees properly, I won’t be back.

Kim does my nails here and I love her work. My nails always look amazing and they last a long time. I’ve gone a little over month before I was able to stop in and get a fill and all my nails were still in tact. Not one missing and not one chipped. She’s a really sweet lady. She always takes her time and makes sure you are happy with your service.

I was referred to Nail Spa One by a friend, and she was right. The hospitality and the customer service was unbeatable. I was offered refreshments which included wine. They welcomed me to the spa and did a relaxing pedicure and a refill all at the same time.Helen offered me an upgrade on the regular pediatric, which was so relaxing to my legs and feet. 😌Amy did my refill which needed some repair from a previous nail shop, and my refill some no flaws of imperfections. Its flawless and the color is beautiful.I WILL return and refer!

I called to see if I can go in for a leg wax, they said yes so I got there quick and the lady was rushing and burned my thigh.

The nail technicians who attended to myself and my sis were really nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was not as pleasing though.

Use Kim! you will not be dissatisfied! She is a beast with nails. Although she does move at a faster pace her work is extraordinary and lasts a very well amount of time

Two of my biggest pet peeves about nail salons are uneven French manicures, and when they leave paint on your skin before you put your hands under the nail lights (because owch! That mess burns). Neither happened here! Perfect French nails and Cindy did an amazing job making sure to remove any paint on my skin before setting the paint. Very pleased! Awesome first visit, and I hope future visits are the same! ✨

For a $50 dip nail, I would expect to last at least 2 weeks. Not even 1 week in and the clear coat was peeling off. My nails are lifting from the cuticle which is painful. I am going to have to have them removed just to do simple things like wash my hair because my lifted nails keeping snagging. Will not be returning. Nice staff but doesnt make up for poorly executed nails.

I absolutely love coming here and been coming here since I moved to the area in May 2014. The nail salon is very nice with massaging chairs and so many different nail services to choose from as well. My nail tech, Ms. Cindy, is a sweetheart and she takes care of me every time. There are alot more nail techs available and everyone is so courteous providing not only great, but professional customer service to make your finger and toe nails look beautiful.

The price was excellent and Becky was amazing! I highly recommend this place if you want to go get a pedicure or your eyebrows done in a clean and friendly environment! I will definitely make this my new place to go get my beauty needs taken care of period

Im a cuticle picker/chewer and Im usually pretty nervous to get my nails done because Ive had technicians that will scold or embarrass me in the past. Alex at Nail Spa is so kind and actually helped me work through some of my nail problems.

The first time I went service was real good for my nails and pedicure & that’s the only reason they have 3 stars!The second time I went it was rushed and I hate that ! Don’t rush with me, if you don’t have the time just say that and I’ll gladly come back or go elsewhere.The third and last time the girl was all over the place, went from my nails to my feet and back to my nails again. And even charged me $10 to change the color on my nails. I’ve been around to different places and that never has been a thing. So yeah that’s was my last time going.

Nail tech KAYLA did a great job on my nails & eyebrows & lashes. I also got my pedi done and it was wonderful the QSmart is the best. My daughter got her and her nail polish and toes. She loved it. They was very kind and professional with me been that it was my 1st time. They even took my 11yr and 3yr to see their fish tank so I can fix letting my lashes dry completely. The prices are worth it. And will be back again and again..... Thanks KAYLA

I came here because of the great reviews, but I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service here. One of the worse salons I’ve ever been to. The staff was very rude and rushed the work. One of the techs wasn’t listening to me when I told her what I wanted and wanted to give me what she wanted.Made it super difficult to just do something simple. She didn’t want me to soak my nails off and wanted to pry them off with a fake nail! I told her numerous times that I wanted to soak them off but she kept trying to do everything else besides what I wanted.On top of that they are super OVERPRICED!!! $90 for a gel pedicure + solar manicure?! That’s insane, definitely won’t be going back! Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!

Julie always takes very good care of me. She does what I want with my nails and most of the time suggests something better. She takes her time with my nails and my pedicure, ensuring they are very well done. I definitely won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon!

Today was my first visit at this nail salon and I left really pleased! Definitely will be coming back to Kayla, she did an awesome job! She takes her time and doesn’t rush like other techs have done with me in the past. The pedicure was really relaxing. Loved that there was no wait time even though it’s the weekend before the holidays. It is a bit pricey but well worth the price due to an excellent service from Kayla. I know for sure I’ve found my new nail tech even though it’s a bit of a drive for me.

Great salon! Probably do the best scrub on my feet considering that I play sports. Sucks though because Im in Pittsburgh right now for school and cant find anyone that matches to them. Definitely would recommend going for sure! Little pricey but worth it! :)

I got acrylics In stiletto shape and a pedicure. I tried this place based off of the good reviews because Im new In town. Where do I start. I asked my tech if she could do the shape and she assured me she could. Way bulky and mishapen. Cut my fingers in three different places. It was awkward shape and didnt look like it fit my nails. Far from the stiletto shape. I asked her to fix it and she already had someone else in her chair and huffed and quickly filed them a little and left. I asked for black and the black powder was this off grayish black. My pedi end result was fine. But as a licensed cosmetologist I know the regulations of sanitation, and they werent here. I was cringing the whole way through. Way expensive for what I got. I dont mind paying extra for good nails, but you wont find it here. after realizing no one was going to fix my problem I took it upon myself to fix them at home. I paid and left. I Filed and reshaped them for over an hour. Just dont waste your time.

Julie is the absolute best. However, all of their staff are amazing. Very professional and always has the latest colors. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Ive never had to wait for service. From owners to staff-very polite and welcoming. They have always taking the time to do a great job, service and understanding/meeting my needs/wants. A bit pricy but the experience is well worth it. Overlay and pedi $75...lasts more than 2 weeks, heck almost a month!!

I wasnt that pleased with my nails to begin with. I got a fill-in (acrylic overlay) because shellac/gel polish doesnt last more than 5 days on my nails without lifting. Its been 3 days since I got them done and 4 of the nails have already cracked and chipped off. Im not from Houston so Ive already returned home but if I was still in Houston Id definitely be going back to get my money back. Maybe their other services are better but the quality of their acrylic is substandard.

Sister gave me a treat at SPA ONE and it was great, NO RUSH, GREAT SERVICE!We scheduled a 1 pm appointment.$180 was the cost two.

I had been going to this place for YEARS & would recommend it to anyone who was in the area. Over the past 4 years the quality of the work has went beyond down. The price is exsessive for basic work. I did research on the chemical used called monomer there is a toxic liquid called MMA which is illegal to use in nail salons now however it is cheaper than the EMA liquid. The smell of thw is very different so its very easy to know upon the smell however they always deny that MMA is being used. In the past 4 years each time i had acrylic nails placed on at this location my fingers would itch beyond explanation, break out in blisters & peel badly. So i stoped gettingmy nails done thinking i had developed contact dermatitis. I went to another nail tech on the other side of town & had acrylic nails placed on with no issues so i assumed my allergy was gone, went back to this location & again my fingers blistered, itched & peeled. I contacted the nail tech to notify her of the issue. I paid $100+ for my nails & her response was less than what i expected. So sadly i am no longer a customer here. I drive 45mins awayfor quality work that is worth the price & i do not have allergic reaction to a toxic liquid being placed on me.

Ive spent so much money here since moving to Houston, mainly mani and pedi....but I refuse to go there for anything after today. Catherine (no longer there) was my go to but I will NEVER spend another penny at this place and will not recommend to anyone. The owner of this place fkd my eyebrows up so badly...that i had to write this review. if you dont know how to do something or feel you cant deliver...let someone who knows how to handle it and take some more classes or something. How do you give two completely different shapes to your customers eyebrows?? I could have done a better job at home with no wax. It had nothing to do with my hair and everything to do with her technique...more like lack of it. Its quite ridiculous...I will be taking my business elsewhere. Do not get your brows done here...careless.

Best pedicure experience I ever had. I was visiting from out of town and came here on a whim. Got the 3rd level pedicure for $45 and it was worth every penny

She appeared to be annoyed by our request to fix them. She expressed how busy she was as she rushed the repair job. A few days later...GEL POLISH CHIPPED AGAIN!

I like the work, been going here for the past 6 years but the way they just make up prices is ridiculous I’ve had them give me different prices for the same service. I believe that’s why there are no prices listed for the service there is a book but once it’s time to pay there is additional to everything.

My first time visiting this morning, staff is friendly, I have found my nail shop!

$90 for two gel manis is a bit ridiculous!! They sell everything under the sun and the salon just looks very junky because it is too full of crap they are trying to sell. They advertise a mimosa with a mani on Sundays however, they dont even have mimosas. For $90 I want more than a shot glass of moscato. The gel mani thy did was awful, full of air bubbles and ripples of caked on polish. Never again!!
