We moved from Warren and I really needed some help with my hair but had no idea where to go and we knew nobody in the area. I crossed my fingers and made an appointment. I was able to get in rather quickly with Andy. She was amazing! Even though the time didnt necessarily allow for everything that she wanted to do, she took the time to analyze what I wanted with what my hair really needed. She was pleasant and fun and took the time to tell me not only about products but about the area so I was more familiar with the fun things to do here. The salon offers so many services and the stylists seem really up to date with current trends. I cant wait to go back!

Definitely the best I have been to in a long time! Felt confident and comfortable for the first time in years changing salons. I cant for the life of me remember my stylist name, but she listened to what I wanted while putting her professional spin and touch. Couldnt ask for anything more!

The staff is very careful about the Covid checks when you arrive, there are barriers where needed, and sanitizer in convenient spots. The nail technician, Donna, is amazing!! She does a great job on my nails and makes sure I leave feeling relaxed and pampered.

I scheduled my wedding hair and makeup with Dani at this salon. I could not have been happier with how beautiful everything turned out! Dani always does an amazing job. The rest of the staff is also so kind, they always make you feel so welcome. My mother, sisters and cousin all came with me to get their hair and makeup done as well. It was very easy to schedule everyone on my wedding day and the staff was very accommodating by allowing my flower girl (my cousin) to join us and get her hair done at the last minute. My mother and sisters absolutely loved their hair stylists and makeup artist, everyone was so impressed. They took such great care of us!

I dont give out 5 star reviews. 4 stars is my typical rating for places I like, meaning the service was good and they did what I asked. Thats the service Im used to getting from the vendors I frequent. BUT...J Christopher Salon deserves this 5 star rating; they earned it. They know the difference between good service and great service.Taylor, Jason, Danielle and Shelly are the best at what they do...and what they do is make you look good on the outside and feel good on the inside. They combine their extreme talents and knowledge with their kind and thoughtful personalities, creating a salon environment unlike any other Ive seen.Taylor does my keratin treatments and my hair has been transformed. Ive seen Dani and Shelly as well...and people, you cant go wrong with any of these stylists. I LOVE my cut, my color...I had no idea my hair could look this good. I dont think Ive ever written a review right after leaving the salon but Brittany absolutely crushed it today. Im new to town and stumbled upon this salon while in downtown Howell. I made an appointment for the next morning for a cut and color. Brittany not only listened to what I wanted, but she figured out a way to make it even better. She wasnt afraid to respectfully make a suggestion to change up what I asked for because she knew that it would be better for me and my skin tone. I love that she took the time to create something that was perfect for me and Im way happier with my hair than I would have been if I just got my usual. I followed my hair stylist to this salon and I love the place. It may be farther away for me to go to but Im willing to spend both the time and money to come here. Everyone is always friendly. I like the relationships they have as coworkers and with their clients.

Where to begin with my 15 month experience. My hair was breaking sideways, frizzy, drab, not growing and I gave up trying.Jason and Doug the owners (who now wish we had done before pics) booked me with Ashley, who I now give full control of my hair. Ashley knows my long term goals but first she had to get my hair growing again and healthy.Through J. Christopher s line up of products (products at any price point) and services such as glossers, deep conditioning treatments and their expertise my hair is so much better.Sometimes I lay in bed thinking I touching my kittens soft hair....its MIne! From dry hay to feeling soft.THE whole team is wonderful and I enjoy my time there. Im not at the salon for 3 to 4 hours like my old salon. They are good and quick;) I love that!My hair has NEVER been better in my life. Its shiny, great shimmery color, full and so nice.Bad hair days are a thing of the past. I now have the hair Ive only dreamed of. Ashley listens and delivers what she says. Always listen to your stylist!

I decided a month ago to get lowlights in my very blond hair. I went to Casa de Bellas and I showed the stylist a picture of what I was looking for. She said no problem. I told her what level of lowlights my base should be as well. But she did her own way instead. What happened is she used level 6 and I had told her between 8 and 9 because after years of doing my own hair I am pretty familiar with the levels. She used chromatic shade mocha and grabbed the wrong processing product or oil or whatever she needed to develop the color. I knew there was a problem at the wash sink because I had told her during the processing time that the product wasnt oxidizing right (it was turning bright pink). She tried Malibu and other products to get rid of the red. Now I had 2 long red roots and the rest was very blond with dark lowlights. What a horrible mess! She said to come back and they will fix it at no charge. Much to my chagrin, I went back and another stylist got involved and made my hair slightly wearable. I called the next day and said that it still was not right at all and I told the owner that I really needed help and that was when they said now it wont be free. I said that I would only pay for the product. That wasnt good enough.I was so mad, my hair was a mess and didnt know where else to go until I read the great reviews about your salon.Thank God the receptionist got me in for the next day with Dani Tanarski. What a blessing she is. She spent 3 hours and very carefully taking her time, and did her magic. I am so happy with what she did and she knows her stuff.I am definitely a very happy client and I am already spreading the word about your wonderful salon.
