We had Venture Pools replaster our aging pool and also replace the tile. They did such an amazing job! We are very happy with the results. Hopefully next year we can afford to have the deck remodeled.

Due to lack of pool parts availability, I waited a month or so for the pool part to become available- that was understandable bc I heard that from other pool companies. However, after calling repeatedly to schedule the part install and then deep pool cleaning, was told they’d show up early in the week, so I left my gate open so they could get in. After they didn’t show by that Wednesday, I locked my back gate, only to be called on Thursday that they were outside, and because my gate was closed, I’d have to call again to reschedule (even though they never gave me the heads up before Thursday that they’d be showing up then).So I called, was told it got rescheduled for the following Friday- NO SHOW. Gave them grace only because I’d already waited a month for the pool part, so called again. I was told to check my email for the new date. No new date emailed that whole week. So I called again. It got rescheduled for this past Wednesday and I even got my mom to wait for them at my house. NO SHOW. AGAIN… after calling just to speak to manager to share my thoughts on their unprofessionalism, I was told their service tech even put a note in their system that my gate was locked… even though I know it wasn’t and my mom confirmed that no one even showed up. And I have the Ring so it notifies me is anyone rang the bell- they didn’t.This is not a company that believes in having the common courtesy to let the client know they don’t have the capacity to take on projects nor organized enough to communicate about delays or no shows.

We used Venture 2 years ago to replace/repair some of our equipment. We began having issues with other equipment a few months ago and called them again. I have had to repeatedly call and/or email, as I asked for someone to come out, determine the problem(s) and give me a quote. It took weeks (almost a month to be exact) for anyone to come out. Once they did, he said they would send a quote. That has now been another month. (Again, I had to call 3 weeks in to ask when we were getting the quote) If they dont want/need the business, just tell me and quit wasting my time!

Venture Pool Co. was good about communicating when they would be able to service our pool and Jeremy was able to resolve our pump filter issue very professionally and efficiently. We will definitely use them in the future for all our pool needs.

It pains me to write this as we have used them for the last 5 years and up until now they’ve been amazing. Unfortunately they have failed to show up 2 out of the last 3 weeks and the one time they did it was after repeated calls snd even then the pool wasn’t fully cleaned and had green patches on walls still the next day. We aren’t difficult customers and we even tip an extra 30% each week. Something has happened because this is not the service we have known over the years.

Venture Pool Company did a full renovation of our pools tile and plaster. They also upgraded our lighting system, replaced pumps and repaired our heater and floor cleaning system. They are also now our choice for ongoing maintenance.Venture Pool Company stands by its work and put in lots of extra effort on our pool. I have had 2 other pool services since I purchased my home here in Houston 5 years ago. Venture Pool Company was recommended to me after the services I had tried did not live up to my expectations. I just upgraded my pump and filter to more energy efficient models. Venture Pool Company was great from beginning to end--from assessing my needs and going over all the options. I must give an extra star to Jeremy who installed the pump and filter. He is fantastic and my pool has never looked more clear.

Ive used Venture for a couple years to clean my pool weekly. Service was generally ok, leaving the pool looking great. A few crews did lower quality work, but they were replaced when I complained.Two months ago my variable speed pump transmission blew. I asked the repair tech (from Hayward) how often that happens, and he said rarely. Usually its because the filter isnt being cleaned. I check the records and sure enough, its been over 15 months since the filter had been backwashed! I complained to Venture, and they immediately came out to fully clean the DE filter for free (though I did end up getting a $100 bill for the service). I adamantly asked for the filter to be backwashed monthly, the first week of the month. Seven weeks later they finally backwashed the filter, but failed to put any DE back into the filter!If you are home to inspect their work weekly and can confirm they do everything, and do it properly, it may be worth using this company. Im not going to risk it as I dont want to sink more money into my pool equipment because the company cant/wont maintain my pool properly. There is laziness and mistakes, and we all have our off days. But I have experienced outright neglect over a sustained period of time. I only wish I would have noticed their neglect earlier. There are many similarly priced cleaning companies, Ill be finding another one.

Called in November 2018 & talked with Andrew re pool sweep was not working properly. Sent repairman who suggested I needed new booster pump plus my pool sweep may also need to be replaced. Booster pump installed 11/30/18 for $597.13. Venture price for booster pump $50 more than buying directly from Leslies Pool Supply. Problem continued so ordered new pool sweep (online) $490. Installed new 280 pool sweep but used old wall fitting since it was December and cold. Problem continued so after two days replaced old wall fitting with new fitting that came with new 280 sweep. The new wall fitting resolved the problem. In the original 11/30/18 service call the Venture technician reached into the pool and examined the wall fitting but did not determine the wall fitting was defective. I have written two lengthy emails to Andrew without any meaningful response. This is the first time I have ever posted anything online about any company. I could never recommend doing business with Venture Pools of Houston Texas.

They show up when they say they will. They do what they say at a reasonable price. Andrew answers texts timely & gives good, accurate advice. Please spend lots of money with them. Eric come to my house on time to install a pool heater and he was fantastic. He gave me great industry knowledge as well as tips for maintaining the pool. He even labelled my pipes so I could figure out the source and destination of water flow. Venture Pools did a great job schedling me and even offered to come 2 days early over the weekend and I accepted. I look forward to using Venture Pools again in the future

Ive used Venture a number of times for repairs and maintenance. Very responsive and always good work. Their text alert system works well and Jane is great about returning calls and keeping me informed.

Great service which was very prompt and efficient. They came out when they said they would. quickly they went through the entire pool systems looking for a leak including all the drains in the pool. Eventually they found two leaks one at each skimmer. They returned a few days later and repaired these leaks. Great watching the two individuals work as they did a great job. Would highly recommend them.

Herman and his team helped us with our pool repair and remodel after Hurricane Harvey. Dont know what we would have done if we hadnt found them. They are knowledgeable, efficient, courteous and kind. I would recommend them to everyone.

They saved me a lot of money ! (thus the three stars..)I gave them a call, when I got depressed by my pool being so bad after winter season and because of a busy schedule, I couldnt get to it. I thought well, this might be a good time to get it serviced regularly, and have a good professional clean up made.Contact was easy, a phone call, and I had a very professional man taking all my information, and told me they would have a technician to come assess my pool and equipment later the same day, and then well discuss a quote for clean-up and weekly service. I was like wow, thats awesome !Later, a lady called me back to confirm with me that the pool was accessible to the tech, and then an hour later the tech showed up to look at my pool. I was under a very good impression, and relieved that I was dealing with a good company that will take care of my pool for good.That was 2 weeks ago, I never got a phone call back from them, or any follow up.My little ones were pressing me to get in the pool, so I ended up doing it myself, it took me a lot of effort, and sweat, but I ended up saving money, which makes me feel good, and the free workout on top of it.This is the reason I give them 3 stars, I never got to taste their level of service, but they are professional on the phone, which is a plus, and they ended up involuntarily make me save money.

They know Pentaris products backwards and forwards. They texted and emailed when they would arrive, did what they said they were going to do and exited. That sounds short, but the beauty is they actually fixed what was wrong and only replaced the broken parts without upselling. We had other companies look at our system and this is the only company that identified the problem and corrected it.
