Had some really bad 1964 Grand Prix tail light housings. They repaired and chromed them. They came out just awesome. The price was well worth all the work they did. They will be stunning on my car. I will be sending them more parts in the next few weeks.

Ive been a customer of Speed & Sport for over 20 years and have always been very pleased with the quality and service. I have had steel, pot metal, and aluminum chrome plated and have had aluminum polished. Craig and Rob have delivered either on the due date or before, and the parts have have 100% been first-rate. As most people know, this level of quality and service doesnt come cheap but in this case you get what you pay for!

After a very long search for someone willing to tackle 45 year old plated pot metal used throughout my BMW 2002, I came across Craig and his team. After speaking with him, I sent him a collection of varied parts, from sunroof chrome trim pieces to plated screw heads to door handles. All of it was pitted, rusty and nasty, but I was cautiously optimistic after talking to Craig (who picked up the phone whenever I called). I just got my parts back - in way under his 20 day guarantee - and they greatly exceeded my expectations. Outstanding work, undoubtedly far better than when BMW first sold the car, and for a competitive price. Highly recommend this guy.

I would not use Speed and Sport Chrome Plating for stainless steel repair. I would use them for chrome plating. I sent my 1958 Nomad Spears to them for stainless steel repair and polishing, along with some chrome work. The chrome work was great. However, the repair work on the spears was terrible, and did not meet my expectations. I spoke to the owner and he said the repair of the spears was some of the best work they have done considering the original shape. For the price (which was not cheap), the repair work on the spears should have been better. Unfortunately, the owner was not receptive to my opinion of the spear repairs. They did good on polishing the stainless. Chrome work = 5 stars, polishing stainless = 5 stars, repair of stainless = 1 star, customer service = 3 stars.

I used Speed & Sport Chrome plating and they did an awesome job. Considering the condition of my Vendo Coin Changer bezels the plating came out great. The plating on my Vendo 23 knobs is flawless and very satisfied. I will definitely be using them again in the next week or so. I have a vintage 1958 Bally Skill Roll where the handles break sometimes and you have to get additional handles. I purchased mine from Shapeways but when they get to you, they are great handles but they are not chromed the way the game intended. I searched the internet to see who was out there that could do custom chrome work. I came across Speed & Sport Chrome on Google and read the reviews. From what I read, there were good reviews and great pictures. I called them up and asked questions about the cost and chroming process. I must say, Craig and Steve were very professional. I sent my handles in to get chromed and the prompt service and great craftmanship does not disappoint. The chrome plating was immaculate and very well done. I normally, if not ever post a review, but due to the amazing work and great customer service they provided, I had to write a review. To those who may have vintage arcade games that need a little extra special touch, this is the place to send your pieces. If you have a Bally Skill Roll, this is the place to send your handles. I found this shop by google search when I need some parts to be polished and chromed as a part of my Jeep LS engine swap project.I brought 5 parts on my first visit. Rob (the shop owners son) helped explain to me the chrome platting process and kindly suggested me to do only 3 out of 5 parts due to the conditions of the parts (and therefore prevented me from wasting my money). I really appreciate his honesty. The work was completed relatively quick (a few weeks) given the circumstances (Holiday seasons) and the workmanship is excellent. I went back a couple more times since then (chrome & polished my water pump, power steering pulley, remote power steering reservoir, etc.). Their work has been consistently awesome. I always got a call from the owner (Craig) as soon as the parts are ready to be picked up. Another thing I like about this shop is that they open on Saturday which is a big help for me since I really dont have much time during week days.I highly recommend this shop if you need to dress up your engine and various car parts. BTW they also will work on non-car related items.Craig, Rob, and Kevin are down to earth, hard working Americans; I highly respect them.

My boyfriend had an Astros steel sign laying around the garage that he never would put up since it didn’t “shine” enough. So I googled what I could do and found out about speed and sport. My daughter recently purchased a horse model made of pot metal. The tail on the model had been cleanly broken off. I searched fairly intensively in the Houston area for a place that could weld the tail back on. My search led me to Speed & Sport Chrome Plating. Apparently it is not easy to weld pot metal. Speed did an excellent job, got the tail reattached in the correct position, ground the weld down smoothly without damaging the area around the weld and got the entire job done in one day. My daughter will be delighted, as I am, with the work.

I have been riding motorcycles H-D since I was 17 and Im 62 now.Tried plating shops from coast to coast along with boxing everything up and shipping it.30 to 45 days later you get it back and sometimes there is a problem or two.You call them and they tell you to ship it back so they can look at it (They should have done that before sending it back).Long story shortI heard about Speed & Sport about 18 or 19 years ago.Loaded up my parts and went to Houston.Met Craig the owner who happens to be a friendly & helpful kind of person so I gave him a shot.18 or more years have come and gone and hes still the man If its not broken dont fix it !My bike was under water for a day & 1/2 during Hurricane Ike.What ever was in the water took the factory & after market chrome off!Hell even took the chrome off my Snap-on tap & die set.Soap and water and just as good as before the storm + Im still running it on my bike !His 24K plating is just as good.With out writing a book here Craig has gone the extra mile for me and sometimes two miles and never did he charge me a extra cent !!
