Our company has used Del’s plating since the early 90’s. They do exceptional work, with affordable pricing. Their shipping and receiving makes pick up/drop off fast and easy considering the small road space they have which is out of their control. Any questions i ever have Travis was very knowledgeable for answers. We have been very happy with Del’s for many years.

DO NOT SEND YOUR PARTS HERE. Dels scraps your parts, and then blames you for their poor quality. We sent our parts to dels which looked amazing, and then they came back with evidence of a contaminated tank. Sent them back to dels and they came back looking even worse. I would trust a 5 year old with a can of krylon more than dels for any services.

Ive been using Dels Plating for going on 6 years now. Ive had a wide assortment of items plating and generally the work was done well enough to keep going back. Some issues arose now and again, but I worked with them to ensure the metal parts I provided were prepped the way they wanted them. In the end I acid stripped, polished, lightly oiled and wired every part I brought them to make the batch process as simple and streamlined as possible.One of the many works I do is restoration of classic vehicles, and have always sent parts to Dels for yellow zinc plating.Last week I sent a large batch of parts all carefully prepared to Dels liking across town with a hotshot service and it was turned away with no explanation to the driver, who then returned to me with it. This wasted dry run cost be $65 is transportation charges. When I called to find out what was going on the woman in the office was nice enough, but was unable to give any assistance aside from referring me to email one of the owners/managers.I did so, and pled for some consideration for the years of business and the manner in which I cater the parts I provide for plating by spending dozens of hours per batch carefully preparing the parts to their wishes. A lengthy email, replied to simply that they are no longer doing this sort of work (auto parts) and its more work than its worth.Im now faced with having to find a new plater while 70lbs of raw uncoating steel, hundreds of parts season in the humidity, potentially causing dozens of hours of rework if the metal begins to blush with flash rust.

Complete waste of time/money and terrible customer service. Would give 0 stars if possible.

I contacted Dels Plating Works to have a moderate quantity of screws given a black oxide coating. Unfortunately, the black oxide finish came out very poor and the screws were unusable for the desired application. I was only made aware of the situation upon inspection when receiving the screws.I tried to inquire about what went wrong during the coating process but did not receive any response from Dels Plating. I was disappointed we couldnt work together to find a solution to this issue.

Good place to work at...unfortunately the management could improve their communication with employees and treat them right!! Only person in that environment is Marilyn,very helpful and sweet! Makes your day with a beautiful smile 😊😉
