Ok service. I kept having bugs, they classify them as “flying” so they wanted to charge more. I mean roaches fly too so I don’t see the difference. The tech was also not people person he didn’t seem to care about the customers but just like the company itself. Don’t waste your money they are expensive for what they do, specially because of the bugs are not listed in the contract, that, sucks for you. Get the big companies who actually care more about good service.
Super unprofessional (both owners) which i believe are husband and wife. Had multiple problems as far bugs and had to have them come out over and over to treat my property. Treated both my husband and i extremely rude when we addressed just a few of the issues and no longer wanted to use their service. As a business owner myself I could never imagine treating my customers how we were treated. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
This place was effective but the longer we used their service, the worse it became. After two reschedules and then them showing up for the wrong service (despite the fact that it was the same service we received every other time) and then the woman on the phone acting like it was our fault, I dont recommend a long term relation with this company.The techs were all great, though and you may be ok with a one-off service.
I entered an agreement with Protex to service my home. After the problem was not addressed we scheduled multiple indoor services. The last service was supposed to be indoor as well as outdoor, the tech was supposed to call in advance. We never received the inside service but got billed for the entire service. After months of silence we recieved another bill. Then the phone calls started. The lady on the other end (later I found out is the techs wife, also the owner) started to get defensive. I explained we would be happy to pay a pro rated bill or complete bill upon service completion. She explained they wouldnt be interested in completing the service and was going to start adding late fees. Today I recieved a letter from collections, prottex has no record on file with my signature accepting the service, the only record is that of her tech/husband/business owner. Beware! Stay away from Protex after a years worth of service this was an absolute waste! The biggest question and most reasonable one is... If the Tech/owner was indeed in my home and serviced it knowing it was the last service.... Why did he not get my signature? Why did he not collect payment?
