They do good work please keep it up ! MIKE IS THAT MAN !
Always have what i need at good prices. Ol reliable forsure
The man at the frontdesk is friendly, but more importantly is very helpful. My three experiences have been very pleasant. I took my new Craftman lawn there to be serviced the first time with a $40.00 deposit. Went back to pick it up and the owner came out and talked to, only charging me $15.95. Earlier this year, I went back with an electric Ryobi trimmer/edger with a piece of wire hung on it. The man told me they didnt work on electric edges while looking at it. He went and got several tools and removed the wire. I went back last week with a practical new Craftman edger that I could now start. He took it the back and all of workers were busy. I woul highly recommend this business to anyone.
Helps with any questions you throw at them. Great stuff
Dont waste your time here, I went in to get a Generac generator serviced. I was told 3 weeks before they got to it, leaving a 60 dollar deposit. I asked how much a carburetor would cost and I was told 90 bucks and they did not have it in stock. I asked the guy helping me if I could have the part number for the carburetor so I could try and source it out and have it sooner. They guy had me waitting at the front counter for about 15 minutes while he pretended to look for the part number, he then stated it was not coming up. I asked how he knew the price if part number or info was not available, I asked the guy if he didnt want to give me the part number and he stated he did not want to because his job was to sell me the part not give me free work. It took him a couple minutes to pull the part number and for him this is work. I told him he rather loose a customer in the long run over a 90 dollar sale, he said yes and handed me the part number. I went down the street to Als small engine repair and all heped me out, he did not have the part in stock but gave me all the info on the carburetor and told me if I could not find it locally I could give him a call and he would order it. Als gained a new customer.
This place is an absolute gym out of the past. The two gentlemen that I was privileged enough to work with were both knowledgeable and courteous. And believe me, that is something really out of the past, in todays society. we had a problem with a name brand chainsaw and they were it recognized dealer for this particular brand. The gentleman took the chainsaw to the back, assessed the problem, let us know and brought us to the workstation to see what was going on and replace the damaged parts. All of this in under a half an hour. He explained what we needed to do in the future, to avoid the same situation, then totaled up our purchase and checked us out seriously folks. Even if you have to drive a little ways to get to this place, it is well worth it! Id give six stars if I could.
My first time visiting. Owner helped me out. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought an edge trimmer. You can tell this guy runs his business like old school family businesses used to operate. I definitely recommend this place.
If they dont have what I need they can get it pretty quickly! Knowledgeable staff and very capable repair technicians.
Amazing service. I went in to buy a chain for my husqvarna chainsaw. Mike took the saw and installed the chain, cleaned the air filter, tuned it up to make sure it was running properly. Wow. I rarely get that type of experience anywhere.
Truly great experience! Ordered the mower I wanted and Mike threw in a mulching kit. Wow! Mower arrived damaged and Mike took full responsibility. Even after I took possession he called to see if I was happy. Wow! Don’t get that very often.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff!!The owner came.out.and.introduced himself as well. If you need something theyaynot.have in stock they can get it on order quickly!!
I had issues with my husqvarna chainsaw so I chose to find the closest dealer/service representative vs local repair shop. (45 min drive). The issue was the starter pulley set. I had tried to fix myself by buying an aftermarket part on Amazon that was said to fit. It wasnt a good fit but did work at first. Dont buy Amazon knock offs.... When it failed shortly I chose to go to the professionalGood- I let them know the situation with the pulley and starter. About a week and a half turnaround at moment and they stuck to that. They were friendly at first and knowledgeable.Bad- I go to pick up my chainsaw and was informed that the starter kit aftermarket was problem and not a good fit but they made it work by replacing the plastic piece inside. I was a little concerned about this. I asked what a Husqvarna set would cost and it was 80 bucks. To fix it how they did cost me 60 bucks.I would rather pay 20 extra bucks for a perfect fit rather than jimmy rig the part I bought off Amazon. A phone call here would have been better to allow the customer a choice between going cheap or getting the right part.I had the original starter kit in my truck and they had an extra plastic part in stock so they put it on while I was there. Now I had a back up in the future. Cost was $120 as I was told it would be another 56 bucks to do this one as well. Okay, lets do it.I went ahead and bought some oil while there though I didnt need it but felt like supporting local versus buying this online. I was there already.Where confusion sets in - I put down a 40 dollar deposit. On the first ticket it stated I owed 16.15 after the 40 dollar deposit for the aftermarket repair. Plus, another 56 bucks for the duplicate work on the original starter kit I had in my truck on me. Then I bought oil at 9 bucks and 18 bucks respectively.Confusing part- they have a new system for payment and was obvious not comfortable on how it was done. I knew from previous ticket that I owed 16.15, plus another 56.15, plus the oil at 27 dollars. The total came out to 89 bucks I paid. I didnt do the math but seemed right. No problem, paid. Happy customer at this point.I then go to my truck and of course, want to test the chainsaw before driving 45 min home. The chainsaw does not crank and the pulley will not retract. The rope is all the way stretched out. I go back inside and show them. I dont berate them or have any anger. Pretty dang nice to them as at this time I have enjoyed our conversation. Mistakes happen...They then take the original part that I had them fix while there and put it on the chainsaw. 5 min or less to do. Chainsaw is up and running. All good. However, in my head I just paid them 56 bucks to fix an aftermarket part that wasnt fixed and they knew it wasnt a good fit to begin with. I felt that I shouldnt pay for something when it didnt fix the issue. You go to a dealer because they have the specific husqvarna parts rather than a local guy. He offered a chain for the saw that retails at 31 dollars for the labor from earlier he charged me. I mentioned that I would like a second chain as I paid 56 dollars for something that didnt work.He was huffy about that and acted like I was not being fair. He mentioned that I brought in a bad part to be fixed and he tried to make it work. It had started for him. I mentioned it would have been better for me to pay 80 dollars to begin with rather than pay 120 dollars for 2 sets and now 120 dollars for only 1 repaired set versus a new one. He stated that he came out ahead in this scenario because I brought in an aftermarket he tried to make work. I stated I would rather the correct part to begin with and that is why I drove to him, a Husqvarna service rep. In addition, the plastic part I paid for that was added to my aftermarket starter set he keptHe was visibly upset and handed me an oregon chain to give me a second chain reluctantly. Like I was unreasonable and trying to get one on him. 2 sides to every story but tried to be transparent with the situation. His attitude at the end lost a customer
My first visit there to find parts for my lawn care equipment. The counter person was polite and helpful. The manager was just as helpful assisting to find the correct items. Seems like a longtime well established facility.
These guys are great and very knowledgeable!!
This shop is amazing. They have everything you could think off for your Huskavana mower or equipment. The service is amazing and the pricing is very reasonable. They have a repair shop as well. I have not tried the repairs but I surely would.
Mike is great guy and very knowledgeable about mower parts and equipment I highly recommend anyone looking for a lawnmower a power washer a weed blower go to Mower Parts and Supply Co.
It was good, they fixed my lawnmower!!!
Super quick service. They just looked at the mower and knew it needed a new air filter. We were in and out in under 5 minutes. David helped us.
Good afternoon, I am Mike, owner/manager of Mower Parts and Supply Co.I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for supporting us over the years, even those who we were unable to satisfy. In one review, I was quoted as saying I do not care about reviews This is true in the sense that I will not be held hostage by potential reviews from those who expect more than what is reasonable from us.I want to assure everyone, that I and everyone I know in the lawn equipment service business here in Houston are honest, ethical people and do our best to do our best for all of our customers, everyday.Servicing this type of equipment and balancing the reality of what is necessary against the expectations of the customer is more difficult than you can imagine.
Knowledgeable people.
Didnt sell used mowers but had nice ones
Ordered some parts for an old riding mower. Came in within a few days and were better quality than the factory parts.
I bought a air filter and when I got home, it was cracked. That was fine but when I started installing the screws I also bought they were wrong size. Not to mention they were $3 more than home Depot prices
The folks at NW Lawn Mower Parts and Supply are extremely knowledgeable about the products they service, repair and sell. They take pride in their work and do a good job of placing themselves in the customers shoes. Great service and always have time to answer questions. Some people want the work done quickly and others want it done right. These guys do both. They are my go to chainsaw maintenance and repair shop.
Fast and friendly service
This guy who owns this repair shop is all the sudden very expensive. His name is Michael and he was very rude to me, when I took him my lawn mower last season, he charged me $70. This time he does the exact same thing to my mower, but he charged me $128. Upon arriving home I discovered that he charged me for the air filter and never replaced it. I think hes passing on the extra rent for the New building he has. I Will Never be going back to his shop for anything else. I told him about his Bad Reviews on line, and he said he doesnt care about On Line review. Wow really Michael. You should sell the business to someone who cares about it !!!!!!
I called to get a replacement spindle for my lawn mower, but unfortunately they did not have it in stock. They offered to order the part for me, but I really wanted it the same day, so I refused. I ended up finding the part in a store in Dayton.A couple of days later I received a call from Northwest Lawn Mower Parts and Supply making sure that I had found the part I was looking for. They couldnt help me this time, but they will certainly have first crack at my business next time. Great customer service!
Dont waste your time or money. This place used to be good 5 yrs ago. It is totally worthless now. The guy behind the counter acts drunk half the time and is rude to everyone. These guys are disorganized and unprofessional. The owner is a condescending smart @$$.I Brought my chainsaw here a month ago. I called and called after a week. No one had looked at it. They lied to me saying it was next in line and then I found it buried under other equipment. Then they get mad because I chose not to wait anymore. Total rip off. If I could give - Minus stars I would.
My mower was running poorly & after changing the air filter it still was in bad shape. I feared the worst since I had let the engine run low on oil and my compression had gone down. They did a throttle adjustment, put in new spark plug and did a new oil change and the motor is running good again. The service was fast and top-notch on the Friday I came in- I definitely recommend these guys
HORRIBLE SERVICE AND CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!! Took a power washer in for a tune up and to replace the pull start cord. I Was told it would be ready in 1 week, well it took 1 MONTH, and on the second pull the handle came RIGHT OFF and shortly afterwards started leaking gasoline. To top it all off they LOST two reducing tips for the gun. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!
This place is bad news. We brought a chainsaw, power washer and generator in for servicing only. It took over 3 months to get them back. And the chainsaw still doesnt work....They used to be really good. Poor communication and Im not sure if they really know what they are doing there.
The repair staff in the back came to the rescue!! The owner of the welding unit I needed for a onsite job had let it sit for years with fuel in it .... Needless to say The Welding unit needed some carb work, BADLY. They took the time to come out to inspect the unit and offer some repair advise. There was a problem with the carb reservoir in which they had never seen before as well, they took the time to guide me through the repair. Had just the right parts in stock, and sure enough it started on the first pull and has run nonstop allowing me to finish the job in a timely manner!!!! I say BRAVO!!! and many Thanks to them!!! I would recommend them for not only taking the time with a customer, but then backed it up with the right parts IN STOCK!!! None of this order it and wait!!! Great Place - Great Team of guys ..... and for anyone who brings something to get repaired here .... REMEMBER ONE THING ... They are super busy BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD!!!! and yes sometimes deadlines get pushed back - but remember they will do the job right and help solve real problems!!
These guys are great!
Mike and Joey really did a great job on my project. It was done right the first time.
Like an idiot I didnt put enough oil in my brand new Husqvarna mower and smoked the motor. Northwest Law Mower Parts & Supply fixed it for me earlier than the date they gave me. Theyre friendly guys who want to do a good job for the customer.
Friendly staff and informative, waiting on final price.
Called today looking for an air filter for our toro, had the part numbers and he told me rudely to bring in the filter. Wouldnt even look up the part numbers for me. Wont call ever again.
Despite the hurricane rush they still were very helpful
